    NO SPLIT SCREEN Multiplayer for survival/ spec ops. This makes the game a waste of money.

This game honestly feels like a **** version of insurgency sandstorm which btw is a good fukin game has amazing coop aswell unlike this game. The fukin coop is not fun and they also locked away a few modes from the rest of the platforms unless you have a ps4...i blame sony and Infinity ward for agreeing to do this to there own community. The only good thing in this game is the audio, Gunplay, and it has crossplay. Oh ye and no paid DLC but who the **** cares about any of that when the maps they release are all loved ones form the community but transformed into some of the worst maps ever for campers to sit in. Head glitching...still a thing why the **** is this in the game i thought they were trying to be more "rEaLiStiC" with there **** ass. If these ****ing idiots were trying to make a realistic game they shouldn't have called it call of duty modern campers oh my bad i mean modern **** maps. If these **** heads were trying to make it realistic why cant we lean? we can mount but its useless in most engagements you would already be dead. Mount gives away more of your body aswell. Now BR (battle royale for you dumb asses out there) was not needed at all i tried it and it was ass you land you cant find **** or simply you cant even find a ****ing gun in most buildings and die already. Armor is too rare to find which shouldn't be rare to find at all since thats what you need to actually survive the gun fights. Gulag is the only thing i like about br cause it gives you another chance but who wants to go back just to get sniped by some bastard sitting on top of a building the whole game with the widest maps ive ever seen for a br game. Even pubg's maps add hills and **** so you cant get shot every time you move. In this game you sit on top of a roof where you can see the whole map and pick people off that cant even acquire a sniper cause they haven't reached a load out crate yet. The majority that win win with there load out (with a sniper) or by camping. Whats the point of having smgs and machine guns everywhere when people only use the snipers and an m4's...might as well just make those two the drops. This is without a doubt one of the most disappointing call of duty games ive ever played i honestly think i prefer Ghost than this one its that bad. Making things worse they wont remove Sbmm and just put a ranked mode for the stupid sweats i have to play against and again we get punished just for being good in a match and having to suffer 5 matches later. They also for some reason refuse to let use choose out maps because they know we hate like 80% of there maps which is sad. The only maps people would actually play are Shipment, Rust, Shoot house, Vacant, Hackney yard, and gun runner. They plan on adding old maps but we all know they are just going to ruin it with "sAfE sPaCeS" and head glitching for those campers out there. Theres nothing more to talk about other than the campaign was alright but kind of made Russians look bad but in the end of the day its just a game so people should stop getting butt hurt over that. And start caring about Infinity ward just wants our money again. They put out more gun skins and characters skins than actual content per season.… Expand

    Probably one of the worst games ever. Period. Thick SBMM, campers galore, awful connections, absolute worst maps, uninteresting guns, **** camos (i mean has anyone even seen the obsidian camo wtf...) and the most useless devs who dont test their game or give a **** about COD veterans and just want to spoonfeed the noobs.

    Beaucoup trop de problème dans le jeu actuellement.. entre devoir attendre 40 minutes pour finalement trouver une partie mais que le serveur crash, les RPG et les AKIMBO clairement opé, les spawns foireux , la camp ebin... on a ici un beau tas de m****.

    The plot is just terrible, it's not a gray moral, the relations between our countries are not very good, but this is too much, Warzone is wonderful, the multiplayer is very good.

    No voy a hablar del multijugador por que bueno es lo mismo que todos los call of duty, pero la campaña es bastante buena comparándola con los cod pasados pero no es lo mejor.

    This game literally almost gets worse with every single update is over 100 gb and counting. This game alone has taken up my almost my entire storage. This wouldn’t be a huge problem if I could actually play in one of their **** servers half of the time. I have yet to talk to a person who doesn’t constantly have problems with this game. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Figure it out.

    Game will not play. It claims the PS4 is overheating and shuts it down immediately even though the ps4 is ice cold. Call of Duty Modern Warfare is the only game that does that

    The only setting that fixed this was increasing resolution scale, but come on dude, i can't even hit 50FPS with scaling at %200. I would prefer it having BO2 graphics (wich are pretty nice, no visual bugs and the performance is great) with SS-AO and some Post Processing instead of being unplayable because of the world looking completely glitched.

    And the only Aliasing options are SM-AA wich... is not perfect.

    I mean im not saying that having bad graphics make the game bad but this kind of bugged graphics is generating a visual fatigue that makes the game completely unplayable unless you are a frickin' masochist.

    Textures aren't compressed too which causes the dynamic texture system to make textures look like play-doh sometimes.

    The game just gives the impression that it was made in a crappy engine like unreal engine. The downgrade on the COD game engine just got this low to be unplayable and buggy graphically.    … Expand

    I loved all the call of duty’s but what a waste of £60 this game was, doesn’t load, crashes all the time, warzone is broke. Not angry just disappointed. Buy something else

    Gameplay is generally pretty good. But the game is plagued by regular, over-sized patches. To add insult to injury, the patching servers have been faulty for weeks (Meaning if you do get to download the patch, it is incredibly slow). And there seems to be no sign of these servers being repaired anytime soon. Good game / Bad infrastructure and support. I'd give it a miss.

    This game is garbage, I've spent more time downloading patches than actually playing it, and guess what? Waiting for the patches was the best part.

Why cant the game update automatically overnight like all the rest of the games I have installed?? This is absolutely ridiculous. They need to fix the update delivery system asap.     Aside from the absurd amount of updates, what happened to the leveling system? Why cant we prestige like previous games and receive a new badass prestige rank icon to showoff?? There was NOTHING wrong with that system! It gave us. sense of accomplishment. i felt like a badass when I finally reached prestige 8,9,10 so on and so forth. There is no sense of accomplishment if you reach 150 and get dropped to 50 after the season is over or even worse, drop to level 1 because of the stupid leveling glitch that they still havent fixed. It discourages you from playing!!!

    Speaking of seasons and battle passes.... This whole battle pass thing is the worst thing to grace this industry. Its grotesque, unnecessary, and down right scummy. Its because of this battle pass that leveling your rank is a complete crap shoot. All this to please the publishing gods and satisfy their greedy pockets. Its disgusting the amount of money Activision makes and still have the audacity to ask for more.

    Ways to improve the game:
    1. Deliver updates behind the scenes aka overnight.
    2. Bring back the prestiging leveling system.
    3. If you are going to have a battle pass, do not let the leveling rank suffer. Bring back prestiging as an independent leveling system for those that do not want to buy/participate in the battle pass and an independent leveling system exclusive for battle pass members. Gameplay accomplishments and experience will apply to either player prestige or both systems depending if the player purchased the battle pass.

    There, I fixed three glaring issues with this game and it only took me several minutes. Will it happen? Absolutely not but I needed a place to rant and let my frustrations out.

    Other those things, the campaign is very good. The cinematic cutscenes are so well done and the characters are so incredible lifelike. The team really nailed the core atmosphere of Modern Warfare and really pushed it to the limits. Game play is solid also. The shooting mechanics have always been incredible and this game is no exception. Spec ops on the other hand is incredible lack luster. There arent that many missions and the ones available are boring and leave a lot to be desired. After experiencing the Campaign, you would expect the same level of story telling and action but you dont get any of that in Spec Ops. This is a playlist that can be removed and most the players wouldnt care.

    Thats it for my review. i give this game a generous 6/10.    … Expand

Multiplayer is painful thanks to skill based matchmaking and the devs constantly lying their product. They claimed there would be no skill based matchmaking in Warzone, however players on YouTube have shown with their data that there is no doubt SBMM is in everything. Regardless of your opinion on SBMM, nobody should tolerate being sold a false bill of goods. SBMM is inferior to connection based simply by not providing you with the best connection possible. No further analysis needed. Nobody wants to be playing competitively in 2020 with 60/70+ ms ping. Games from 10+ years ago provided a smoother online experience. The final nail in the coffin for this title is the PC cheaters in Warzone. There appears to literally be no anti cheat in the game. Console players are disabling crossplay, defeating the entire purpose of it existing, and nobody can blame them. This MW should have be been a title for the ages but we were met with straight up lies about the game and a sub par experience.

    FYI Activision has a patent for MTX based matchmaking, that is to say, players who spend money in the game store will be rewarded by being placed in matches with players far below their own skill level. Players who do not pay this literal bribe to have "fun" are punished and used as fodder for the players who do spend money.

    In summary the game has no anti cheat, possible MTX based matchmaking, definite SBMM, mediocre at best story, glitches aplenty, and still has the nerve to harass you with buying gimmicky junk from the store with glorified pop-ups from the 90s on a full price AAA title.

    If players tolerate this behavior, they will have no one to blame besides themselves for future titles. We need to stop submitting to this and start voicing our opinions with our wallets by refusing to pay for this junk.

    This game exists for the sole purpose of squeezing as much money out of gullible players who throw money at shiny cosmetics and swindling players with lies about the games mechanics.    … Expand

    First of all the game takes a lot of space and with all the updates it takes 4x as much space as my other games. Second of all there is no good maps in multiplayer and they all feel very average, The weapons are very unbalanced and after all these updates are still broken. On a certain skill lvl, every round plays exactly the same. Nobody moving, everybody camping. Especially in free for fall, most of the games end with the timelemit, the final score at the end being 10-15 out of 30 needed kills for victory (after 10mins)..
    No real perk or weapon variety, overloaded and badly designed maps that only benefit a slow and defensive play style as well as hackers occurring every 3-4 rounds in certain game modes only 6 months after release.
    In total even though the devs and publishers wanted to attract battlefield or rainbow six players, this game designed by the new IW mostly feels like an even worse Update of Cod Ghosts with Captain Price of Modern warfare of the original IW on the cover.
    Overall a total disappointment, only positives imo are graphics and sound (when it's not bugging)    … Expand

    Claymores don't do any damage, The 'easiest' bots setting is too hard and all the maps are built for camping and spawn killing, Headshots aren't one shot and everyone has wall Hacks and aimbot.

    Infinity Ward tuvo la difícil tarea de recrear la saga más importante de la historia de Call of duty, Modern Warfare, y, sinceramente, me gusta. La historia es increíble, interesante y nostálgica, hablando gráficamente, me saco el sombrero por el excelente trabajo que hizo Infinity Ward.
    La jugabilidad es la misma que los anteriores CoD, no hay novedad. El multijugador es divertido, pero    Infinity Ward tuvo la difícil tarea de recrear la saga más importante de la historia de Call of duty, Modern Warfare, y, sinceramente, me gusta. La historia es increíble, interesante y nostálgica, hablando gráficamente, me saco el sombrero por el excelente trabajo que hizo Infinity Ward.
    La jugabilidad es la misma que los anteriores CoD, no hay novedad. El multijugador es divertido, pero a veces puede hacerte perder la cabeza, pero lo disfruto. Los Spec Ops, son ridículamente difícil pero, con un buen equipo puedes encontrarlo entretenido.
    Lo negativo de este juego es lo ABSURDO y RIDÍCULO que es el almacenamiento que tiene el juego (176GB), también, para agregar, es que el juego viene separado del multijugador y de los Spec Ops, en que sentido, tienes que descargar por un lado la campaña, por otro lado el multijugador y, por último, los Spec Ops.
    Los parches que recibe el juego también son exagerados (van desde los 4 hasta los 12GB), para poner un ejemplo, MGSV: Definitive Experience (abarca tanto Metal Gear Solid V como Ground Zeroes) salió en 2016 y hasta el día de hoy tuvo unas 4 actualizaciones de 100MB, por lo que el juego base más las actualizaciones pesan 40GB. Modern Warfare, con tan solo 3 temporadas, pesa 70GB.
    Pero bueno, para hacer un reinicio de la saga, van por buen camino, pero me encantaría ver a futuro una disminución ENORME tanto de las actualizaciones como el juego en sí    … Expand

    The fact that their pathetic coders can’t crack the algorithm of “6=6” is enough to not make me want to play this game. you’ll have multiple games in a row of being up or down a guy (or 2). imagine if NHL just randomly put you on the penalty kill for a whole game. you’d trash the game within a week

    Modern Warfare is the best Call of Duty in years. The graphics, gameplay and mechanics are top notch. The single player campaign has great level design and excellent gameplay, however it's story sometimes adds shock value for no reason. It's a solid campaign with excellent gameplay but an okay story. The multiplayer has a lot going for it, Infinity Ward tried new things such as Ground WarModern Warfare is the best Call of Duty in years. The graphics, gameplay and mechanics are top notch. The single player campaign has great level design and excellent gameplay, however it's story sometimes adds shock value for no reason. It's a solid campaign with excellent gameplay but an okay story. The multiplayer has a lot going for it, Infinity Ward tried new things such as Ground War and Gunfight, both are excellent gamemodes. The multiplayer has some crippling flaws that take away from the experience, skill based match making takes away some fun out of the multiplayer as well as many of the maps are designed as safe spaces for players which involves a lot of camping. Otherwise the multiplayer has a decent selection of maps that are both new and old. Lastly, the multiplayer misses some basic features such as map voting and being able to see your kills and your deaths which is disappointing since this is such an easy feature to add in and has been in mostly every Call of Duty game. Spec Ops is just okay, nothing really to say about it, it's fun but it's nothing ground breaking. The final feature of Modern Warfare was added recently, a free to play battle royale called Warzone. Unlike Blackout which didn't do much to differentiate itself from other battle royale games, Warzone adds tons of features, the most noticeable one being the fact then when you die you get send to the gulag and have to 1v1 your way out of there, this is a nice touch and makes Warzone easier to play.

    Overall, Call of Duty Modern Warfare is a good game with many flaws. They're so many things done right but yet so many things done wrong.    … Expand

Look I know a series that goes on for a long time usually loses track after the tenth, but I’m gonna be real I’m not gonna **** the campaign was fantastic I don’t know what the hell anyone is talking about it was exactly like the old modern warfare games and yes it did involve politics with the Russians but that’s war and if you have a problem with that then it’s simple don’t play the game, the characters were very likable with honestly Alex becoming my favorite and honestly the only grudge I have with it is that they did not show general Barkov’s motivations on why he hated terrorists so much and yes they did commit atrocities but it was to ground the story and show how **** up it was and set the stage for the future, other than that the campaign is, dare I say FANTASTIC. Now the multiplayer I love it it really is a return to form and I never thought I would say that. The guns feel fantastic and the ttk is fair so I don’t know why anyone is complaining about that, but here is the big one. THE MAPS they are all viable for the sandbox of weapons and equipment, there is low ground high ground for snipers and close quarters for people who like to run smg’s and shotguns. The class customization is the best in the series BY FAR way better than modern warfare 2 which is a very hard thing to accomplish. The only maps I really don’t like is Euphrates bridge, Piccadilly, the store map which is just god awful, and Aniyah palace. Now the reason why I chose those is because all the weapons don’t fit in that map or you got some camping **** but it is really in those maps where I REALLY had a problem with camping all the other maps are A plus. Now I know Warzone got added and I just want to say WOW! I mean they really outdone themselves here bravo there is so much NEW! Gulag, 150 players, buy station, currency, I mean the mode is great and there is over 60 million players as of the time of this review so over all with Warzone 10/10. Now the final one CO-OP, I can’t say I’m a big fan and it’s disappointing because back in MW3 and MW2 this was one of my favorite modes, but the enemies are way to difficult, the objectives are RIDICULOUSLY difficult to accomplish and overall I’m really not liking this mode so overall 4/10 just to be generous.     I don't want to compare this game with MW2, Waw and MW1 because they're classic and could not be compared with a new generation game, but for me MW2 is the best CoD ever.
    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a high-quality modern FPS without any futuristic **** Shooting here is pleasanty from any kind of weapon. The gameplay itself is dynamic and interesting. What is good - it's not the same in all missions and gives you time to rest from running and shooting and sometimes offers you different QTEs which I was missing. Graphic is stunning and realistic, pleasure for eyes. Characters are not stupid dummies who just open mouth during cutscenes - thanks for talented actors (Barry Sloane, Elliot Knight, Chad Michael Collins, Claudia Doumit and Konstantin Lavysh). Great soundtrack that gives me goosebumps - good work by Sarah Schachner.
    You can say anything, but this new part of Call of Duty deserves to be played. I always buy a new CoD only for campaign and this is the first campaigh for many years which I'll remember.    … Expand

Shame on you, infinity ward. Regarding the campaign, I think they added some of the missions for shock value. Take how they have dead children in the campaign and hanging bodies. I honestly think that they want to make something like ‘No Russian’ but worse. I don’t know why. Spec ops is utterly terrible. After I finished the half ass campaign, I decided to embark on the spec ops mode. I was happy to play then when I realised that they had FOUR missions. Anyways, I then played through the missions to them realise that they are impossible to finish. And when I mean impossible, I mean 200 veteran bots rushing you and spraying at you and your team. It’s honestly broken and boring compared to other games. Multiplayer is actually pretty decent, although some scorestreaks are overpowered and should be nerfed/ removed. But honestly they need to nerf the 725, too overpowered.

    Warzone is a really fun and challenging game mode, I feel like it revived the game a little bit and gave some COD fans a reason to play. The Gulag is very fair and gives people another chance at winning the match. Overall I would give it a 6/10. If you’re a single player type of person, I strongly recommend buying a different title all together. This game is definitely not for you.    … Expand

I’m not even my own patriot strange (Russia), but the plot part hit me, it's overkill. well, damn tolerance was not complete, the farah woman is a super hero, in a dialogue between an American general and a military woman, a black woman meets and sends a white man, bravo. and most importantly, I’m talking about the highway of death, why Russia was dragged into this if the Americans launched air strikes.

I'm about a 1.4 KD player, but thanks to the super aggressive Skill Based Match Making in this game, as soon as I start to perform well, I'm thrown into lobbies with ONLY a bunch of insanely talented people and I can't even get a single kill. SBMM is completely stupid, all COD fans started off being terrible and getting killed all the time, but because there was no SBMM, we could actually see and feel our improvement. Now since you're always up against people of your talent, it always feels like you can't get ahead. The maps are the worst of any shooter of all time by far, they have no flow to mildly put it they encourage savage camping, cross a street and you're dead. The terrible maps plus the worst spawn logic of all time equals total chaos with no flow, you can't read a map, speculate as to where the enemies are because they could literally be anywhere and the odds are that they're camping. On top of that, the absence of shooting enemies showing up on the mini map makes the whole map flow experience the absolute worst, it couldn't be any worse if they tried. It's a real shame because the visuals team at Infinity Ward did a truly spectacular job, the game is gorgeous and the gunplay is the best feeling of any shooter I've ever played. But because of just how unplayable multiplayer modes are, I can't even give any credit for that. Why would I care about good looks if I'm not having fun? That's what she said.

    Also the campaign is despicable Russophobic historical revisionism and it's so aggressively trying to lie to you (blaming Russia for the highway of death when it's actually the USA that did it in real life) that I just can't play through it. I can't believe they'd do that to the Russian people, passing the blame for American war crimes to Russia. This seriously crosses a line for me. For this total historical insult trying to turn public opinion against Russia even further than it already is, on top of the worst online experience of any type of game I have ever played of my life, this game is a total big fat sloppy 0 and I wish I could have my money back. Thank god for Warzone though, which I'm absolutely loving. I feel bad for Infinity Ward because I'm pretty sure all the **** pro-noob anti-russian **** comes from Activision. So F U Activision. Back to battlefield I guess. If you want to hack just go to ps3 and play cod waw or modern wafare three.

    Loving the game sl much until a week ago ( April 6th) , the game has been fulfilled with cheaters either in multiplayer and WarZone which are ruinning the game experience. Neither Activision nor Infinity Ward are taking measures to solve this.

Poor map design, camping meta, and horrific gun balancing, and skill based matchmaking All combine for an excruciatingly painful to play multiplayer, every game is a sweat fest of camping, to which the devs refuse to fix or even address. The fact they add in more micro transactions than updates to the game should shot something. The horrible spec ops mode is so unenjoyable that I’d rather go back and play MW2 spec ops any day, every mission drags on longer than it should and feels damn near impossible and when you do beat it, it isn’t rewarding. Now onto the war zone, granted it’s not bad, plunder is a pretty fun take on it all and they have a decent system going for it however, hacking and skill based matchmaking is even in it. Making a already tense and sweaty battle Royale even more of a sweaty mess. Hacking is too abundant and has yet to really be fixed at all. All in all I’m giving this game a rating of 3 due to 3 fourths of the game still needing an abundance of work and due to infinity wards constant flow of micro transactions rather than them fixing and adding in much needed and long overdue updates. Infinity ward hopefully changes things around for the MW2 multiplayers remaster that they “aren’t making” even though we all know it’s already done and on the shelf. Hopefully they stop the overuse of micro transactions and go back to the simple dlc. And just the fact that I have to wait for up to 30 minutes in a server que, even though the game has been “done” since October and it’s currently April is just saddening.… Expand

    Very addicting and motivating weapon leveling/unlocking/customization system. Even the season pass has motivating rewards such as XP boosters. Should be supported. Spent already 15 hours only in team deathmatch.

    Campaign very brutal but very cinematic and gameplay well composed.

Не говоря уж о том сколько матчей этими вылетами мы загубили рандомным тиммейтам, веть возврат в матч не предусмотрен. В техподдержке игры на официальном сайте, тебя автоматически кидают на страничку с решениями проблемы в духе: обновите драйвера. С подписью "вылетает? ничем не можем вам помочь."

They allowed warzone players to try out the multiplayer mode for free last weekend. i tried it out, but I felt like I needed to check out the other maps and game modes to get a better idea of what the game was like. Needless to say, after trying out multiplayer, I will not be buying the game.

    The only saving grace would be 2v2 mode. If you que up with a friend, it can be quite fun going up against other duos and testing your teamwork and overall skills.    … Expand

    1) The amazing campaign, which is the 5th best in my opinion (after the original Modern warfare trilogy and the COD Black Ops (2010) )
    2) The graphics are amazing. We've been lied to that it's a new engine though. It's the same old engine, heavily modified. Credit to Blame truth on youtube for covering this in a video.
    3) Gun sounds are pretty good.
    4) The animation director did a great job. Hats off to Mark Grigsby on another great job on what he does best.

I would like to put emphasis on the fact that this is the first Call of Duty I have actually enjoyed playing and invested a lot of time into since COD 4 remastered. The game itself is well balanced when it comes to its guns and is just generally fun and excited to play and I really do enjoy it. However, there is a major downside to this game and that’s the development of it. I have never played a game with so many issues and errors popping up. I know this isn’t just my network as it happens to everyone I know but everytime I freshly load up the game it says error connecting and sometimes this can genuinely take 3 attempts just to load up the game. You also can’t play loads of games back to back without a network error whether it’s being kicked out mid game for being disconnected from the call of duty servers or being kicked out of a party that you are in between games. I’ve noticed that in a party of 6 we can’t string more than 2 games together without their being a player booted out. The game itself also seems to freeze constantly and although it’s only for a few seconds when you’re in the lobby it can be so frustrating as you can’t even set up a class without the game glitching. The network errors for this game are such a let down considering how big the game itself is. I would genuinely rate this game a 9/10 if the network errors didn’t play such a big roll in preventing me from just having fun. This game with better servers and network consistency’s would be one of the top call of duty’s ever made hands down.… Expand

    The worst Online of every Call of Duty, respawns are awful, If you move just a little you will be killed. I was one of the best in Mw2 Black Ops and WW2. It's a waste of money, don't buy it.

    An actual honest review on Modern Warfare in 2020. (4/4/20):

    QUICK DISCLAIMER: This a fair review of the game and I will not just beat the dead horse with the Russian controversy. Also I will not be reviewing the BR because of how new it actually is and that I cannot gauge an opinion on it. Campaign firstly: Ignoring all the gray zone controversies the campaign is a much needed    An actual honest review on Modern Warfare in 2020. (4/4/20):

    QUICK DISCLAIMER: This a fair review of the game and I will not just beat the dead horse with the Russian controversy. Also I will not be reviewing the BR because of how new it actually is and that I cannot gauge an opinion on it.

    Campaign firstly: Ignoring all the gray zone controversies the campaign is a much needed step-up from the likes of WW2 or Black Ops 3 but yet still fails to deliver in some aspects.

    Pros:
    - Hyper Realistic as promised except for the minor nitpick details (such as the occasional gun glitch or even the aiming at your teammates which was sadly pointed out) but overall a down to earth in your face experience for war
    - The characters are VERY memorable such as the likes of Alex or Farah
    - The effects, scripts, and placeholder elements are up to standard of the like of the best games on the market

    Cons:
    - The horrible plot holes and connections to real events are terrifyingly bad. It's like IW wanted to be bold and pull a Modern Warfare 2 with the turncoat Americans but for some reason went the same route of "Russians" as being the enemy effectively dividing the player base in half about the campaign.
    - It was such a narrow campaign and gave the player a lack choice that would impact the game. This isn't new to cod as Black ops 2 had done this in a way to make it one of the most impact campaigns for players and myself alike. This was also a soft reboot so this could have been done theoretically. Because this wasn't done it doesn't give the players moral choices that will impact the story in some way.

    Overall the Campaign is a solid 7/10

    Next the Spec Ops

    Pros:
    - It brings back survival and does it to a standard of which is on par with the previous iteration MW3.

    Cons:
    - The missions are an absolute trash heap of recycled content garbage from campaign missions and show little to no difference to the actual campaign
    - The content on launch was such a disgrace that I thought it was highway robbery to sell this game for $60. This will later become a common theme throughout.
    - AI is bugged in some missions??? Not sure if this is just based off of my game but the AI would sometimes completely bug out and forget how to do the smallest tasks such as open doors or even would sometimes walk into walls.

    Spec Ops for me gets a disastrous 2/10

    And now the multiplayer.... Jesus Christ the multiplayer

    Pros:
    - The Guns have a ton customization and you can try and make new variants for hours on end
    - Classes now have a non-pick 10 system which everyone is probably very happy with
    - The Sounds of the guns are absolutely outstanding!
    - The looks of the environment of maps are great following closely to real life due to scan imaging.
    - The UI for the Multiplayer and selecting gamemodes are a treat

    Cons:
    - The Maps are awful or at least the base maps created by IW. Even some remakes like Crash and Vacant seem very butchered by horrible map decisions such as doors in unnecessary places and the obvious placement of safe spaces for players
    - Spawns seem to be pretty terrible and I'd argue worse than in Black ops 4. It seems random and most of the time you seem to spawn in front or behind an enemy or the other case is being put so far away from the action (this is especially prevalent on 10 vs 10 maps) that you don't really even want to play the game anymore.
    - The class system favors camping instead of a balanced system. I find myself constantly calling this "crossing the street simulator" because of how unrewarding it is to the run and gun play style
    - The gunfights themselves seem stupidly clunky and it seems like there's always this one overpowered gun someone uses. It's so bad to the point to where it doesn't even matter who the first person is to shoot it's anyone's game now and it would usually be the person with the more overpowered weapon. I know it was like this in MW2 but the difference was that the weapons used in that game were all overpowered and usable.
    - Bugs that were rather displeasing to say the least such as invisible props or even broken player models

    My final rating for the multiplayer is a 4/10

    A solid 8! Because of the new engine, gunsmith system and many more. But i know that this modern warfare is more like tactical shooter rather than arcade shooter, so is slower than the other cod games. Well i like it beside of the camper really. But all in all it's a new step for the game and i really enjoy it.

The whole point of Battle Royaleis is to scavenge and find the best attachments, weapons and equipment, This game eliminates all that. Black Ops 4 had a way better Battle Royale system

    Extremly disappointing installment. I feel the multiplayer in this game is the worst in the series, it is ruined by terrible maps and poor design ideas. Infinity ward have managed to suck all the fun out by promoting slow campy gameplay. The single player campaign is good but a poor ending left me feeling underwhelmed.

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
