    solid videogame, ok story and really pretty visuals, multiplayer is great, gunplay is on point, its fluid, exciting and feels good. is it the most realistic fps ever no, I play escape from tarkov for my realistic kicks and something like this for more relaxing but fun game time. people review it a 1 to try and make some kind of impact on the score but ya'll just look stupid and wont eversolid videogame, ok story and really pretty visuals, multiplayer is great, gunplay is on point, its fluid, exciting and feels good. is it the most realistic fps ever no, I play escape from tarkov for my realistic kicks and something like this for more relaxing but fun game time. people review it a 1 to try and make some kind of impact on the score but ya'll just look stupid and wont ever be taken seriously.… Expand

    Been playing online multiplayer since cod4. Worst multiplayer ever. Singleplayer and co op is good though

    Short campaign with a linear, railroaded and uninspiring gameplay.
    Multiplayer's pace is insane, extremely unrealistic, plays more like a Quke or Unreal...
    Save your money and watch it on YouTube...
    Graphics is good though.

    The best Call Of Duty since MW3 that's for sure. Really hope they stick with this formula going foward

    Infinity ward did such a good job, superb graphics, awesome single player and a vast and smooth multiplayer, also spec ops is a fun third game mode.

    This could be the best call of duty in a long time

    THE BEST CALL OF DUTY TO DATE.

    a masterpiece campaign, but a little bit too short. Still, it was a worthy ride all along!
    multiplayer and spec ops are amazing! Finally COD gets a crossplay feature!

    9/10 for me! Well done Infinity Ward. keep it up!

    Battlefield 4 had a more stable launch. First 1 hour and a half at launch was my friend and I hitting refresh on the now notorious "Cannot connect to online services". So you'd think, just go play campaign while you wait for the swarm to die down, right? Not an option buck-o. Unless of course your on PS4 for some reason, just like how they got survival mode exclusive, oddly suspicious.Battlefield 4 had a more stable launch. Finally we get in, my game works alright, my buddy has to spend another hour getting past a "Direct X fatal error" which crashed his game immediately every time he tried to load in. After that we eventually got the game running together, having a decent time for about 3 hours of actual game play with intermittent crashes (about 3 for each of us). Heads up if you have epilepsy, there's a bug in the game that upon taking damage the indicator and blood splatter on your screen has a good chance of rapidly flashing at you like a rave party on steroids. Also, the VoIP is messed up for me, my game audio comes through my headphones, however it makes the VC come through my monitor. I checked all my settings both in game and in windows and could not get it to work right, so I was forced to just turn it off altogether. Aside from that the game is pretty good so far, honestly my friend and I are just a bit jaded at what a sloppy first impression all of that was. Given some time and a lot of patches, I bet this can all be sorted out. Hopefully fixes are a priority and not rushing to push the micro transactions in our face. I want to like this game, but I am disappointing with it in its current state. For now, this score is what it deserves and hopefully in the near future it can turn itself around. If you're on and off the fence about the purchase, maybe wait a while and hopefully get all these bugs ironed out first because I highly doubt you want to spend the first 3-4 hours trying to get past the crashes and bugs before you can even play like we did.… Expand

    This game gives me the feelings of 2007 (CoD4). A thrilling campaign for a shooter, Good entertaining and Cpt. Price! The multiplayer shines with new mechanics an game modes. Often people complain about minor innovations, but also often about innovations. Developers today find it hard to please everyone, but Infinity Ward did a good job. The best CoD for a long time!

    Call of duty is back. Never expected this solid of a release. Multiplayer is fun and barebones while the campaign may actually be the best fps campaign I've played. Beatiful graphics, beatiful and technical weapons. Just pure fun. My mouth dropped at the cutscenes and some gameplay scenes as well.

    Back to the roots! New engine feels slick, sound's are great.
    Multiplayer without season pass is a dream come true, + crossplay.
    I'm just hoping that activision + infinity ward will support this game over the years instead of making another cod in the next year

    Latency online is laughably bad, The Story was a waste of my time and spec ops is okay. Not worth buying in current state.

    Spawn killing, same guns but not equally match against opponents (for example the shotgun), many areas where you can't see your opponent's head or body but they have a clear view of destroying you and moving your character feels very uncomfortable

    Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
