    I enjoyed the game. It has one of the best graphics. Single player campaign is much better, compared to previous installments.

    The game is great, insanely beautiful. It is played in the spirit of the original mw. The ending generally blew the brain with a fit of nostalgia. Waiting for Ghost. But the Russians here were exposed as real beasts and terrorists. I, as a Russian, really feel sorry for every cent spent on this game.     When entering these modes there's not VOTE OPTION for which map to play. In my sense this is because there are like 6 maps in total and they didnt want people picking the same maps all the time. I think I've played every map around 6-7 times now, and let me tell you they are all ****
    If you played COD earlier just think of every **** map in every **** game and you have these maps in this game. Which **** idiot told Infinity Ward that ''Man we need a big ass map where people can run around for 5-10 minutes just to find one dude, and if you die you have to start over again''. Examples of these maps is the Aniyah Palace where all the action is in the palace, but you have an ATV near spawn to transfer you.

    Which brings me to my next issue; How many players in a lobby? Well throughout all the COD games there has been 5-6 players on every team, small maps, high action. This is where it gets bizzarre. You get 10v10 in a normal TDM to 100 points. 6v6 TDM to 75 points. Bigger maps smaller maps, but honestly in every 10v10 mode I've encountered being or doing the spawn trapping where even if you go back into the enemies spawn they don't switch spawns, neither in 6v6. Most games even end up not finishing because teams can't get to 75 or 100 points. Happens like every 2nd game you play.

    On to the gameplay; seems like one of the retards in Infinity ward was like, let's put 2 shot weapons AR in the game, or 3 shot single burst kills in the game. My point being, you DIE SO FAST and HEAL SO SLOW. You even have an attachment on your weapon that makes HEALING SLOWER now isn't that OP then I have no clue.

    You know the campers you always hated that Treyarch did so well too punish? Well say no more because here it is all about the camping with the freaking Morocco in this game. Feels like I'm going to a Bazar in every single map and in every single house there is a freaking moron who's camping with the claymore by the stairs.

    Oh you like Jiggle Peeking? Well you can't do that either, you jiggle peek and get shot twice you are dead. More often than not I've noticed that even tho I jiggle peek and I'm behind a wall after the peek I tend to die because the latency is so crap, and there are crappy servers.

    This one time I had a sniper and an SMG, I was sitting in a corner in a house near getting killstreaks even though they had spawn trapped us. So I was sitting there with my SMG in hand and suddenly I get shot through the freaking wall, I look at the killcam and I see my sniper is popping out on the opposite site of the building so the person that killed me saw my sniper and decided that here's a player I can shoot. Incredibly enough I died.

    Played 2 ground war games but it's just like battlefield, boring and a lot of running.

    Was really excited about this game and it let me down hard.
    Will be selling this crap to the next buyer. Hope he will have more fun with campers than I did.
    ****tiest COD game of all time, even worse than BO3 where you could fly in the air and run on walls.
    Atleast they had maps that were decent, and gameplay that wasn't buggy.
    No idea what the Editors are smoking when they rated the game, but I want what they have.

    After all the bad reviews from people who don't like evil russians i couldn't keep myself for leaving an actually review about the game. Not a review about a small detail like who's the evil side and who's not.

    Campaign. Story is good, entertaining and enough intense moments. Graphics are good, everything looks great. The cut scenes didn't always play smooth, there were some small hickups here and there. But overall the Single Player part is well made and for me it was a great start of this new game.

    Multiplayer.
    I haven't bought Call of Duty in the last 9 years, simply because i did not like where it was going with all the futuristic **** Finally this game is shooting again. The game plays very very smooth and the graphics/sound are great. There are many game modes, enough people playing so no long waits yet. There are plenty of maps and guns and at the moment there are no lootboxes or any other crap.

    I'm happy to say that after many many years of waiting i can finally have fun playing Call of Duty again. This game is worth my money.    … Expand

    Смело ставлю 8/10(минус два бала за отсутствие серой морали, обещанной нам на стадиях разработки)    С русофобией в сюжете перегнули конечно, но в целом интересно было проходить(не буду спойлерить) Радует что оружие в игре теперь ощущается не как пластиковая болванка, а действительно как огнестрельное оружие.

    3) A choice of an enemy and degree of its villainy was dictated by the market, not moral, which was shown with a recent scandals incl. Activision and Blizzard. So, when authors say that it is a purely fictional and they do not refer to specific country/official military, that sounds not so convincing.
    4) All the other aspects of the game make it a very good one: graphics, shooting, stage direction are pretty well. If a low-tier, low-influential product insults you, that is ok, but when you see that a work of a good professionals is pointed against your national pride, that makes you sad and then angry.    … Expand

The fact is this is the first time when activision pushed real modern conflict at the center of the story, and it sounded really cool for me. I was hyped. I thought that activision could make both sides seem like a giant douchebags (because all wars ARE in fact a battle between a giant douche and a turd sandwich), like how they did previous times, but what i see, is the textbook example of what "othering" means. Call of duty used to be anti-war, not pro-war. They used to not just hop on the anti-russian bandwagon, but make a decent and interesting spin on "how things could go if".

    Look, just for the sake of disclaimer and sort of conclusion. I, myself, try not to touch politics if possible, i have no major control on how my government acts, as well as you do, from wherever you are reading this. I don't want to say that what my country does is right or wrong. The only truth i know is that war has no winners except for the people who do not participate in it. Black and white is the colour of old WW2 documentaries (pun intended), not modern conflict. There are no right or wrong, however, if someone tries to push you that narrative, please ask yourself what is it there for them (hello "futurologists" and "war theorists" from pentagon, with whom activision admitted to have partnered with). Sorry for that unnecessary essay and thanks if you have read this. This means a lot for me.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. В сюжетной части этой игре нету "серой морали" которую так восхваляли разработчики, тут кроме пропаганды вообще ничего нету. Тут русских ассоциируют с безжалостными нацистами, которым плевать на человеческие жизни. Генерал Барков в нем показан не как человек который делает добро с помощью зла, а обычного диктатора который делает все жестокие вещи оправдываясь что Урзыкстан - это страна террористов, хотя если подумать, то террористы в Урзыкстане появились потому что как раз таки Барков оккупировал Урзыкстан и начал убивать мирных граждан. Это еще один раз доказывает что разработчикам было плевать на "серую мораль" в игре и они хотели просто понапихать в нем много жестокости что бы хоть как-то оправдать свой дырявый сюжет. Но все же есть и хорошие русские в этой игре.....и это как ни странно был Николай и Егор (который никак не влияет на сюжет), и да, это тот самый Николай который был в оригинальной Modern Warfare только тут он либо был в отставке, либо он был под прикрытием ФСБ либо САС, и он так же осуждает действия Баркова и хочет что бы его не стало, но это лишь один человек а не все правительство осуждает Баркова. Еще в этой игре не понятны мотивы правительства Российской Федерации и не понятно кто конкретно хотел оккупировать Урзыкстан: правительство или генерал Барков. И из-за таких сюжетных дыр не возможно понять чем объяснены действия Баркова: приказами правительства или своими личными причинами. Но как уверяют разработчики американские и британские военные тоже не являются исключительно хорошими людьми и иногда делают жестокие вещи, но и всего в игре лишь 20-30% сюжетной игры являлась той самой плохой стороной американских и британских военных- это зачистка жиловых домов от террористов, разминирование бомбы на заложниках и пытки терристов используя из семьи как шантаж, но это никак не говорит о том что это и есть "серая мораль", это лишь их часть работы, с которой им приходится мирится. В этой игре лишь единственный запоминающийся персонаж - это Фара и Харид. Их действия оправданы потому что российские солдаты атаковали их страну и они дерутся за ее освобождение, даже порой нестандартными
    и жестокими способами. Но это никак не перекрывает все минусы сюжетной части игры и этого просто недостаточно. Честно я ожидал от игры серую мораль уровня Spec Ops The Line, где действительно покажут настоящую войну в которой все стороны конфликта действуют очень жестокими способами, но в этих действиях можно было найти смысл и можно было понять всю сложность ситуации. Но в этой игре я увидел лишь ничем не оправданную жестокость со стороны России и на 70% хороших американских и британских солдатов. После этого я хочу спросить у разработчиков: "Do you feel like a hero yet?"    … Expand

    Техническая составляющая игры вполне добротная, перестрелки, окружение, звуки, фильтры, взять ту же самую зачистку дома.

    Снова в глаза сразу бросились бомбежка наших в Сирии (20 лет назад!, ага, когда РФ была занята Кавказом и Чечней, на секундочку). Американские вертолеты в Бердянске (да-да, Вердянск ничего не напоминате совсем/зачем РФ ПВО?), перестрелки в Питере (когда полицейские оперативно выехали из Саратова на трехколесном велосипеде), на полицейской машине РФ с европейскими номерами доехать до Молдовы через несколько границ и т.д. и прочее. Дети тыкают ножами в тело и ножи не застревают, ребенок может прицельно нажать на спусковой крючок револьвера и он не ломает им руки отдачей. Неделю не евшая/ не пившая/ не горящая в танках женщина гнущейся ложкой ломает крепления стальных решеток и протыкает ткань. Особенно обалденно, что в армии можно (ОКАЗЫВАЕТСЯ) не подчиняться, не исполнять приказы и делать что хочешь (особенно в американской, ага) - это же практически туристический лагерь. Русский генерал индусского происхождения, таскающий погоны старшего лейтенанта и полковника, не стареющий и не меняющий обмундирование 20 лет подряд (Вам бы, в игре про Вторую мировую, советским солдата цифру впаять, ну а чо) Чудотоворные свойства новых героев действительно позволяют не сомневаться, что божественные проявления есть!

    И опять русские русские Кремль русские. Отсутствие Логики. Потерянный в ходе разработки игры серый сюжет. Хорошая Аль-каида, плохая Аль-каида. Русские ведут себя хуже фашистов во время ВОВ с военнопленными в лагерях.
    Кстати, Ваше упущение: почему Вы не сделали про Скрипалей миссию?
    Типа, гуляете минуту по Лондону, потом такие звоните по МТС прямо напрямую в Генштаб, называете кодовые фразы, чины, звания, потом докладываете, что на месте и химическим отравляющим боевым веществом выводите на дверной ручке "Слава РОССИИ". Вот.

    Activision is simply afraid to show bad someone other than Russian. It’s sad. I loved this campaign, but such an attitude towards a certain nation offends. I do not think that Activision will soon be able to recover in the eyes of Russian gamers.

    Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
