    Ever since 2010, I never thought there would ever be an amazing CoD like MW2. After playing 12 hours of Multiplayer, beating the campaign, and being with the homies in special ops, I gotta say, this is the best Call of Duty I've played since Modern Warfare 2. I highly recommend this game.

    This game is great, best cod in a long time. Guns feel great and the animations are SO SATISFYING. I never thought i'd say that cod could be immersive but IW really nailed it on this game. The propaganda could've been toned down a bit. But i get it, it's supposed to be like the old MW series where the russians are the bad guys but at the same time they're not.

    If your wondering if you should buy Modern Warfare or is it worth your time, it really depends who you are. I’ve played every COD for years, and so far I’m more impressed with this one than any title in recent memory. I’m normally not super into campaigns and play more competitive mp titles, or modes, but at about an hour in this ones been great. Multiplayer is fun and the realistic approach to customization, streaks, and really everything is a welcome change. Unfortunately ground war isn’t available yet, at least that I saw. I hope it comes soon, because after the beta, I’ll probably play it more than standard mp. The games well over 100gb and is packed with content, overall I love what I’ve played so far. All this said I see many complainers, some trolls, some upset about a single thing like survival or sjw types “outraged” and some just unhappy as with everything. Basically if you get triggered by clapping and want it banned, or have a tummy full of soy, you may want to stick to Pokémon. Only real concern is what they do with monetization and that’s yet to be seen, so we have to wait and see. Aside from that, if you enjoy realistic shooters and aren’t triggered often, pick it up and enjoy putting down some terrorists.… Expand

    I could care less about the short campaign, whether Russians, Germans, or even Americans are the bad guys. I just want a good multiplayer shooter which this game doesn't deliver. Horrible map designs (BIG maps with so many things in between which reminds me of Ghosts), no only 5 classic modes available (No Kill Confirmed) plus 3 new boring modes. I can't even get a refund from PSN becauseI could care less about the short campaign, whether Russians, Germans, or even Americans are the bad guys.     Good to do research before you buy. Bad enough you're paying $60 for a 4 hour game and sub par multiplayer that gets shut down eventually and only works if servers do, but you cannot even play the game once YOU own it, without a massive mandatory update being installed first even if you only want to play the campaign. Some people can't afford to spend 60 dollars for something that doesn'tGood to do research before you buy. I give it a 1 because Activision/Infinity Ward made a good game that only some who pay for it can actually play. Very bad business practice. Of course people will still hand over wads of cash and that'll encourage developers like this to rush out unfinished games. It should not be allowed for developers and publishers to sell unplayable copies of games... Once you buy it it should immediately and always be ready to play, every other game except God of War who also did this, updates are optional if you are just playing single player offline...… Expand

    Very disappointing, but I expected. And what I saw in CoD MW? Just propaganda, poor, foolish propaganda. They didn't think that "Anti-Russian sentiment" (or Russophobia) it's a kind of RACISM. Very disappointing IW, very disappointing Activision.

    The Multiplayer feals great too

    Never liked a COD game before so be aware I am not a fan of previous games. Game is top notch quality on every aspect of the game but the audio effects maybe the best ever done in a game. Single player campaign is brutal and realistic which is a good thing. I just want them to put a decent BR mode because I think it's more replayable than other multiplayer modes.     Hands down, the best COD since MW2. Everything about the game has been reimagined to be incredibly pro-player. The gunplay is sublime, graphics are best in series, maps are intricate and fun, all play styles are catered for, some actual depth to the game for the first time in a long time.

    I’ve played the modern warfare beta pretty extensively, and I had a solid amount of playtime in different modes since the release. It could be to soon for most people to review but I’m sure I’m really impressed. I’ve played cod on and off since Cod 3, I’ve gotten around to trying them all including black ops 4 which I felt did very poorly. In recent when big companies are releasing theseI’ve played the modern warfare beta pretty extensively, and I had a solid amount of playtime in different modes since the release. It could be to soon for most people to review but I’m sure I’m really impressed. I’ve played cod on and off since Cod 3, I’ve gotten around to trying them all including black ops 4 which I felt did very poorly. In recent when big companies are releasing these major AAA games it usually can go way south pretty fast, and I was originally worried for the franchise because while I certainly understand it’s a pretty commonly played game, I still believe the franchise has a lot to offer that others can’t. Fast, fluid, arcade like shooting, aggressive and exciting animations in something that’s almost reminiscent of old doom or unreal tournament. Modern warfare does this usual formula very well, that’s great and all but to me it went above and beyond in some ways. Recoil, weapon models and most of the usual mechanics like sprinting have been fine tuned to an extent I honestly was thrilled to see. You can basically double sprint (tactical sprint) mounting is much more responsive and recoil is so much more visceral. The sound quality and options of changing so are impeccable as well, I genuinely jump when I’m wearing a headset and bullets wiz past. Its all of these things that make it the usual experience but much more immersive and personal. Also, the create a class and attachment system is unbelievable. Stunning for someone who enjoys customizing firearms in real life. Some familiar voice acting is back and it’s just such a good thing to hear. The sometimes silly overly tactical call outs actually make me really pleased to hear. It what the series is known for, I did manage to clear the campaign on normal, without spoiling anything you will certainly see some of the most brutal scenery in the series yet. If your squeamish understandably definitely turn it off and DONT LET YOUR KIDS PLAY IT (if they can’t handle it) If I were to say that was it I’d rate the game flawlessly, 10/10. And it could be depending on how you view this but there is already some practices that have me just a tad worried. I may be on ps4 but excluding modes from other systems on launch isn’t right to me. Again I may get to experience these things first but i know it isn’t fair, I should also mention we don’t know how clear we are from predatory micro transactions, but since that’s speculation I’ll wait and see. Otherwise I’ve had a few bumps in performance, not a lot but I know Xbox is crashing a bit. These are things if ironed out or clarified would make me believe this is a truly amazing release for call of duty. I recommend it.… Expand

The game is no masterpiece but if they support it like they have promised and keep to their word about microtransactions it'll end up being great! 9/10 games released nowadays end up changing throughout its lifetime.....only issue is having a new game release yearly only gives it a short window to maximise its potential. Most the time they get shot down by the other 32 players or running perks like ghost keeps you hidden. Gun customization is taken to the next level, you convert an ak47 to an ak4u submachine gun or turn it into a rpd lmg, it's quite expansive for cod. Just a solid game, happy to see there listening to the community & got rid of the season pass, paid dlc etc. It's all free even though they are including a battle pass which will only include cosmetics. Game launches with 22 maps total which is twice as much as usual on top of a campaign, special ops coop missions, survival mode & the new graphics engine is great, I usually don't say this about call of duty graphics but this one's impressive. Hopefully the developers keep pushing content out for this game & I could see it staying at the top of the charts for a long time, maybe even beating fortnite in terms of popularity… Expand

И как говорят один герой - я убиваю только плохих людей. А кто решает кто плохой? Сюжет редкая клюква, не удивлен что игру убрали из цифрового магазинаНу как обычно - во всем виноваты русские.     Starting with the campaign is amazing, it is short but very good, the multiplayer mode is very playable and very few failures and the special operations are super fun and to play with friends are incredible.

    Wow! Just played a few hours with friends and it's amazing! There's not much to complain about - spawn kills are still a thing from time to time but I guess they'll get rid of this in that title. Finally, cross-platform is available. Love it!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. it is not call of duty I'm a fan of the COD franchise since COD4 Modern Warfare, after this one I played all the releases up to Black Ops 3 but unfortunately there is no way to support the games anymore. Activision sells very expensive franchise games, even old games are expensive. When the game gets a discount sale, it is as small as possible. And DLCs never go on discount sale and never got their price reduced. So games from almost 10 years ago like the first Black Ops are costing a lot compared to games that released in that time and even newer games from other companies are cheaper than it. And exclusively in my country the game is costing more than the original dollar price directly converted to the currency of my (real) country, reason: ???. While several competing companies are kind enough to bring their games cheaper compared to the dollar conversion, Activision brings the most expensive CODs! Paying $ 62 on a game 10 years ago with the full DLC package is absurd! I will no longe… Expand

The photogrammetry and HDR techniques they used are truly mindblowing (least on PS4 Pro and a 4K TV). Second, the campaign is truly stellar, with pulse-pounding action (the embassy level being a total fave). Please ignore all the sensitive journalists crying about excessAfter years of not buying a COD game, I'm so glad I got this one. First off, this one finally has high quality graphics!     Haven't bought any cods recently and i'm glad I got this one. Game feels amazing. Maps are imo really good except for the fact that there is too much windows. Multiplayer is really good and so is the campaign.

    First of all the campaign is amazing, so hats off to IW for pulling this off! Second, the multiplayer is awesome. It brings back the great times I had with the original MW trilogie. This is what we needed! And finally spec ops is back! Always fun to play with my friends!

    Forgot to mention something important! NO lootbox anymore!

    Game requires to be logged in to Activision account even if you want to play Single Player, it wont let you even into the main menu unless you log in.
    This is unacceptable.

    Playlist options are terrible, you will always be put in 9v9 games which are only played on maps that are either way too big, or way too small for that amount of players. You cannot disable 9v9 games. 9/10 times you will be placed in matches that are already in progress and put on the losing team, those matches are nearly always unwinnable so it just decays your win rate.     Best COD in years!!! MP is awesome, with a lot of options, crossplay and no paid DLC!!! Campaign and coop modes are excellent too!! This is the COD game the community was hoping for!!! Congrats Infinity Ward!!!

    After playing the BETA i had really high hopes for this release. This is one of the best COD's to date.
    The new engine really shows and the combat is more realistic like games such as battlefield. This game has so much content with the weapon customisation being the best we have ever seen. Cant wait to get back home and play as much as possible

    The same old thing again. Honestly this game isn’t changed at all. It’s just the same old CoD with a new coat of paint. Not to mention the obvious battlefield ripoffs the game threw in as well. Wait until the game is like 25$. If you pay full price you’re a mad man

Multiplayer is exactly what I expected it to be from the beta. Lots of fun and customization. This is truly a next level game with the cross platform support.     Thats what I call an Triple-A Game. Graphics and Presentation are absolute fantastic. The Campaign and Multiplayer are the best for many years now. It could be a relaunch for the whole Franchise. Thank you Activision!!!

    Okay, I played this game!!, good graphics,great gameplay,realistic movements,.....but 60 dollar is really expensive for this game! Wait for Christmas price will be around 30 - 40 dollar! Don’t waste your money n I think you should wait for Death stranding!!! 60 dollar is 60 dollar DONT WASTE IT! ( based on alpha edition)

    Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
