    Campaign is good with an enjoyable story looking forward to the sequel mp has balance problems maps are not good and the m4 is practically the only weapon would not recommend buying unless you like camping or are willing to give 70€ for a campaign the game does have potential with the gunplay being extremely good willve to wait and see if it multiplayer gets patched .

    (c) The game shows the highway of death as Russian soldiers kill a retreating convoy and civilians. In reality, 20 years ago, the Americans did exactly the same thing. Try to google Highway of Death.

    This game is very low quality, poorly made, a cheap copy of Battlefield. It is so bad that I stopped playing it after one day and switched back to the BO4. Movement of character in it feels unnatural and slow, weapon attachment menu is total trash, different modules are placed all over the screen and it extremely uncomfortable in use, no hardcore mode in the game (you need to shoot fiveThis game is very low quality, poorly made, a cheap copy of Battlefield.     There is no morality in this game. it's just propaganda. anti-Russian propaganda, the plot is built in such a way as to show what kind of Russians are bad. The captain soap was not of the coolest operative as he was in the past parts. and the main character’s brother’s motivation is so laughter

    Its very sad to see the amount of trolling reviews on here giving the game a childish ZERO...This is the first COD i have bought since advanced warfare which completely put me off the game, since then i have had the odd go on black ops 3 and 4 which both where awful. This game is a true return to the original modern warfare days. Its fun again although some will moan about campers>? That a side the game feels much more like MW1 AND MW2 and not like the COD games of the PS4, XBOX ONE period that all suck. Game Engine has finally been changed from the old tired one they kept using past its sell by date and the ability to play cross platform is a big plus.… Expand

    "Погані російські", "хороші американці", все як в оригінальній трилогії MW, тільки ще гірше. Якщо карикатурні бійці Макарова виглядали якимись кумедними, та й взагалі загальний темп оповіді не претендував на щось серйозне, то в цій частині все зовсім інакше.
    У новій Modern Warfare російські показані якимись звірами, які влаштовують публічні страти, вбивають жінок і дітей і т.д. і т.п. Все це виглядає натуралістично, але це не забавно. Це лякає. Це виглядає як пряма демонстрація російських. Противно на таке дивитися.
    В якихось моментах гра намагається бути схожою на Homefront. Наприклад, в обох іграх є сцена, де героєві належить ховатися серед трупів. В обох іграх показано те, як "ворожа сторона" вкрай жорстоко поводиться з цивільними і т.д. В обох іграх чорнуха пре навіть там, звідки ти її не чекаєш.
    Ось тільки Homefront був жахливою грою, з поламаною механікою стрільби, похмурим геймплеєм і т.д. Деякі такі, технічні проблеми спостерігаються і в новій CoD, але сподіваюся, розробники їх виправлять.
    Homefront обернувся закриттям студії-розробника і банкрутством компанії-видавця. Кажуть, історія циклічна. Ну що ж, залишається сподівається, що це не так.
    Я люблю гри Infinity Ward. Мені подобалося грати і в першу Call of Duty, і в трилогію Modern Warfare, але навіть Ghosts не викликав такого ж сильного відторгнення як ця гра.
    Не потрібно було брехати. Не потрібно було демонтувати. Не потрібно було вставляти в свою гру чорнуху.    … Expand

    A solid FPS game with the nice scenery, good mechanics as well as truly engaging and dramatic story. One of the few decent games these times. Wholeheartedly recommended!

Dont want to give anything away on the campaign other than I really enjoyed the 50% play through Ive reached so far but so so far so good. Campaign gets 8/10.

    I've owned all COD games (except for COD 3) and played a lot of them, however, this must be my least favorite cod game. The campaign is short and not a very good story. Co-op is too difficult for no good reasons, and it lacks content. The multiplayer is just sooooo bad. The map is badly designed, makes people camp to kill.

In such environment, there is no excuse for game just to be a game. Russia is a big country with people of various interests, view on life and opinion on politics.     If in-detail: I am true fan of Call of Duty since 2004 and first Modern Warfare. I liked the script of original story line and I didn't find it rusophobic at all, even well-known mission in MW2. which was part of the plot. But this time CoD really crossed the line...

    Russia, as a country, in this game: Violence without any particular reason and against mostly women and children. Physcho general [statements by media that he is a rogue one didn't confirmed], serving and promoted by the country. Continious statements from particular heroes of the game about killing Russians and accusing them in terrorism. There are few more details, but this is just to frame a picture.

    Main heroes of the game: Tough guys making uneasy but logical decisions for greater good.

    I don't think this is how well-announced 'gray morale' looks like.

    I see lots of reviews, where people is trying to claim that this is really how Russia looks like.
    Long story short: Guys, if you didn't attend history lessons, please google [Name of Country] war crimes, specifically good guys wanna-be, and you will find lots of interesting stuff there, which is heavily connotating with this game. But if you aspire to see Russia this way, it's a different story...

    From pure game perspective: nice graphs, but not impressed, mechanics from previous games. Nothing special, will return to BFV.    … Expand

    Campaign: Takes place in a FICTIONAL modern war, but uses some real-life past events for some plot points. Mission design and graphics are top-notch, story is okay. Overall the campaign is enjoyable and one of the better ones in the cod series and I recommend playing it

    Multiplayer: Has a variety of modes from 2v2, 6v6,10v10, and 32v32. The gunplay and customization is well done. However, the maps are very weak and lead to slow-paced gameplay. It is very different style of cod right now and I am having more fun in the 2v2 and 32v32 modes because those maps are better.

    Spec ops: Have not played it yet, sorry

    Overall thoughts: Campaign is fun and worth playing, but not the best in the series. Multiplayer has some good gunplay, but the maps for the traditional 6v6 and 10v10 are not well done and I think its more fun to play 2v2 and 32v32.    … Expand

The cross platform is well designed. I was sure PC gamers would have a strong advantage against console players but it seems to be very even.     And then you see this. American propaganda, making Russians the scapegoat for their crimes, like wtf. And who says this **** is fictional is delusional, just changing a few names doesn't make it fiction.

    The multiplayer is nice, but again new mechanics like the run animation that are completely not asked for and just innovation for the sake of innovation, braking the pace of the game (making camping more favorable then rushing) and more headglitch spots then ive ever seen before. I don't really understand why maps have to be so complicated and why they add so many sneaky spots you get killed out of and just ask yourself "wth that's a f-ing spot?!".
    And then there is the whole micro-transaction p2w debacle that's going to hit us in a few weeks. However im not going to give them leeway just because they come with sneaky tactics like releasing the whole p2w roulette boxes after reviews are out, lying to players that they wont come, till millions got a copy and then releasing it because they already bought the game so can't really dmg them anymore. Yeah no, 1 Star, because multiplayer is "still" enjoyable.

    Not going to mention all the bugs and crashes, you can guess they have a lot, cuz activision games never come out finished.    … Expand

    I know most people will be buying this game for multi-player, but it's seriously not worth it. Claymores on a 30 second cooldown at lvl 1, every map is huge with mulitple camping spots.
    Combine this with the shortest TTK ever AND no dead silence perk (foot steps are super loud which makes camping even easier), you get a slow paced camping simulator.    Call of Claymore: Modern Campfare.

    Gray morality killed. Beautiful graphics and nice shooting, but a very mediocre story. The game could show several parties to the conflict in one country, whose interests overlap, but are not a cause for cruelty. As a result, we got a typical villain and slurred motivation. Very sad.

    A spectacular revision of the best story line in the whole series! The graphics, especially the weapon animations are unparalleled. And the depiction of realistic situations and fictionalized retellings of recent conflicts and events make this more contemporary than just using weapons of the current era of warfare.

    -bad minimap
    -horribles maps design for campers. We need maps like MW2 and MW3 !!!
    -low number of maps 6vs6
    -Footstep audio need to be fix
    -spawn
    -claymore...
    -need scorestreak
    -SBMM omg...
    -ttk is good but ttd -_-

    All the bad points make the game is made for campers.

    Imagine USA army and Allies instead of Russians in the game - and now You know what they have been doing in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Libya, Somaly and many other countries. It's so low to do such a story line, but understandable. When You lose everywhere where it's possible, the only one place left to be heros and winners - is in the game.

    Гра чудова але кацапи цього не зрозуміють їх як завжди начіго не влаштовує. Якби це не була б перезагрузка то можна було б сказати про те що Росію у всьому звинувачують але так як це перезагрузка серії то все ок і гра дуже добра а вам кацапам потрібно задуматись. На моєму ПК I7 920 ,GTX 670, 16 GB ОЗУ , все йде добра настройки середньо низькі при цьому нічого мильного не замічав наГра чудова але кацапи цього не зрозуміють їх як завжди начіго не влаштовує. Якби це не була б перезагрузка то можна було б сказати про те що Росію у всьому звинувачують але так як це перезагрузка серії то все ок і гра дуже добра а вам кацапам потрібно задуматись.     Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
