    Horrible game been playing 3 days straight. CAMPING CAMPING CAMPING there isnt any battle left. Nobody runs up to eachother this isnt even a shooter this is a trash camp simulator. And the worse part is camping gets rewarded. F this game buy something else.

    In the past games Russians was bad guys too, but nobody care because it was shows so caricatured, that all thinked - oh, it's just another cranberry, don't mind, they just used to shows it like that.

    Great multiplayer, weak single. Don’t look on user rating. Too many angry Russian who can’t understand simple things. It’s just a game. Russian’s always was be villain in video games and movies. I don’t understand why they so angry right now.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really wanted to play the main story in the new call of duty, but I'm so disappointed about it. The storyline is absolutely horrible and makes no sense. Dumb characters, bad russians (again?) and no motivation for Barkov and the russian army to kill innocent people. They kill everybody because they're just bad russians. That's ridiculous and the game looks like anti-russian propaganda against the whole russian nation. We've seen bad russians before but it was just a regular cliche aka Tom Clancy's arts. Right now that's just racist and absolutely unexplained hatred. Activision promised us "grey morale" and to show that there's no good guys in the war, but at the end of all we got "brown morale" and "brave" americans who saved the whole world. Russians kill children, women, civilians and nobody explained gamers why they do it. Nobody shows how US army or British SAS are involved in war crimes. The only barbarians here are russians. I think the game developers mixed up russian soldiers with nazis.
    (By the way, highway of death is a real place and the US army bombed Iraq's soldiers when they tried to leave Kuwait. Guess what? In Call of Duty Russians bombed innocent people in the cutscene before "Highway of Death" level) Great job Activision, another trashy storyline. R.I.P. Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare.

    This is not the Battlefield killer they would like it to be. Don't fall for it, it is still the same game it was 10 years ago. I refunded the game after 2 hours of Piss poor multiplayer.

    I wasn't really planning on getting game anytime soon but I did. I got to say the multi-player is one of the best I've played in cod. It's a refreshing game that actually brings a challenge. All these people complaining don't even care about the game they just have their own agenda. Highly recommend a purchase I believe it is worth it.

    Some of the story missions are telling us some facts from history but instead of real members of real conflict Activision has put Russians as a biggest evil ever.

    Много новых механик. Неплохая графика, но к сожалению для моей видеокарты за 10к деревянных она не создана. Снижая настройки графики ничего в плане производительности у меня не менялось. Компания агрессивная и русофобская, серая мораль - русские террористы, остальные герои. Ну и браво Sony которые заранее позаботились о русских игроках и убрали её из магазина еще до начала продаж, учитываяМного новых механик. If they continue to do this well, it will be safe to say that Old COD is back. Such nostalgia of MW2. P.S., all of those mad at this game's depictions of Russians/Russia must've forgotten like literally all of the other games in Call of Duty.… Expand

    While the campaign is certainly not better than the original Modern Warfare, it's still the best singleplayer shooter experience since Titanfall 2 and the best tech demo since Crysis.
    The multiplayer also seems to do pretty much everything right for now, giving players an enormous amount of customization and exceptional gunplay.
    We'll see how that changes, once monetization gets implemented.

    Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
