    I used to be a loyal fan of the Call of Duty series of games, the original Modern warfare trilogy was one of the best, but with each new part the series was increasingly disappointing, but I continued to respect the series for past achievements and when it was announced that the series was returning to the old roots my hope on past greatness increased.     COD MW is pure Russophobic propaganda. The political propaganda in this game is appalling. And this is coming from an American and a veteran USMC. Don't be manipulated by the propaganda.

    Beside the propaganda, the game looks great, but in reality is subpar. 2019 and still no destructible environments like R6 Siege and Battlefield.

The new part is very realistic! there is still a feeling that everything is as if plastic, and it disappointed! otherwise satisfied, the graphics are beautiful, cutscenes as if filmed in reality, but blotted out for the feeling that this is such a game!

    After playing for about 200 hours I've had enough. Here are my points as to why this cod is terrible. ( 1 )All of the maps promote camping in the worst ways possible. ( 2 ) The gameplay is too much to take in, there is a complete overload of windows, balconies, rooftops, and peek-able doorways. ( 3 )I find that 6v6 game modes are extremely boring, but if you go to groundwar, its the worstAfter playing for about 200 hours I've had enough. Here are my points as to why this cod is terrible. The other funny thing is that the only one country in the world that has used white phosphorus against civilians was U.S in Vietnam.     Call of Duty Modern Warfare is a great game with real world situations throughout the campaign that are not for the feint of heart. I can say graphically its incredibly well done. The story is very compelling and gives you another perspective on war. Multiplayer is very good as well I play a lot of gun fight which is my favorite but the other game modes are just as good. They made more paths and ways to variate play styles which is big for me, i get tired of just seeing snipers and shotguns and a lot of maps have good mid range areas. The survival mode is probably the best co op experience i have played yet its very challenging and makes you feel very accomplished when you complete it.… Expand

    The game came out a broken mess as all cod games do. Frequent crashes on most systems. It seems like they were going for a slower more tactical cod, but all they made was an extra campy battlefield lite. The maps are way to big for the number of players and the numbers of maps is just sad.     One of the Best COD games EVER if not THE Best, Campaign is amazing, Gameplay flawless, Graphics almost Battlefield level Graphics, top notch.
    And I really loved the Campaign, it is the first game ever to show that Muslims actually hate terrorism and fight against it, not to mention it shows that Muslims are the most affected people by terrorism .

    I really thought I would be able to game with my friends again on cod after I last played COD:WWII which was alright. I thought this game should at least be mediocre with IW developing it but I was terribly wrong. Calling this game a pile of **** would be a compliment.

They made this game a campers paradise by too low ttk, bunch of useless guns, goofy aiming, enemies hard to see, only using. It's insane how many people only use the M4A1 and camp even on domination matches. There is very little ways to punish campers in this cod.

    I also don't understand cross play and KB&M support. Why would I want to playing with PC players and why the hell would you support a way easier way to aim on console? You can turn off cross play at least but you still have console KB&M players.

    On top of all this, the campaign is even awful. It's short and filled with ridiculous propaganda. Don't buy this game or support them.    … Expand

    Lots of butt hurt people on here. Cry baby Russians? I don't know. Short but effective campaign. Multiplayer is a haven for campers but the slower pace and anti-camper kill streaks help lift it up.

    Sooo, Yep they finally had the balls to make a COD that shows us the horrors of modern conflicts. By the way most people are complaining about that this game is "xenophobic" but the true is that it doesn't matter the flag of each army, they made terrible things in those conflicts (some of them came from the U.S, Russia or the rebels) but these things happen. By the way most people are complaining about that this game is "xenophobic" but the true is that it doesn't matter the flag of each army, they made terrible things in those conflicts (some of them came from the U.S, Russia or the rebels) but these things happen. Unfortunately they didn't show us the horrors that the Americans did, yet.     Gameplay: 10/10 - This CoD just feels right.

    Multiplayer Modes: 8/10 - I love the 2v2 mode though I wish they had the mode where you pick up guns from the ground rather than start with the same loadout. I wish there was also a map voting feature.

    A fantastic deep storyline and the best PvP experience I’ve had in a CoD game since BOll!!
    P.S. also as having family from Ukraine I am glad that Activision finally had the balls to show the world what Russia truly is.

Do not listen to russian trolls, that down vote this game, because they don't have healthy distance to their country, and as long as some other country is portayed as evil, (and what is very ironic, a lot of US citizens are main antagonists, like in MW2) everything is fine. But when poor, "perfect" Russia is portrayed as that,Very good and realistic game, main campaign is well written.     Secondly, the campaign. I can't grasp why EVERYONE is picking on the story, leaving a bad review whilst spending 4h in campaign and 500+h in multiplayer? Yes the Russians are the bad ones, what surprise, so what? They also were the bad in this franchise. People with some education can stand above this easily and enjoy the plot as is, but no, in 2019 you have to pick on everything what possibly can offend someone or something. The best review here said "Absolutely disgusting propaganda. Why make such games? Games should unite people and not set them against each other... (score 0)". How people can be serious with this? IT'S A GAME! The is no CoD with unicorns and flowers and happy people all over the place, wtf? Others join the "intellectual class" with words like "Russophobia" and think they are actually smart. Disgusting.

    All in all: Fans from the old games, buy this one, you won't be disappointed. The feeling is just like it was in 2009-2012.
    In the unlikely case that a Activision/Blizzard employ reads this: You guys did a great job on that one! It's a shame how close minded people got, leaving all this embarrassing reviews. It is a good example of the fact that people get more dumb every year and enter a very preoccupied tunnel-vision of all these trends which arose since 2010.

This game is 2019 military version of "Tom and Jerry" cartoon: EVIL RUSSIAN general and his bloodthirsty murderers has been trying to kill a small girl for 20 years, while having power to demolish the entire villages of civilis and whose subordinates have opportunity to carry out public mass executions, BECAUSE THEY KILLED OUR SOLDIERS, can't get her at any point of his residence in a mythical country called Urzikstan. Objectively, technical and graphical aspects of this game did not impress me and my dear comrades, which we have played for some hours. The only plus of this game is Saint-petersburg. I've been there for two times and I definitely can say the traffic of this city has been shown correctly, it is totally insane. Also people in big cities like to make exhibitions of retro-cars and visit atmospheric bars in basements. I'm not sure about films shown in these cinemas. Shame on those people who are responsible for creating of these images. From now on we won't ever play games from these game developers, this is an absolute shame.… Expand

    The campaign is ridiculously short. Infinity Ward lied one more time. Spec Ops doesn't feel like Spec Ops, it feels like battle royale, and I hate battle royale. Multiplayer has pink stuffs that does not fit in a military shooter game. Now Infinity Ward screwed up everything due to aggressive micro-transaction incoming. This is 5 dollars game.

Но впечатления от пережитого слишком отрицательны. Настолько отрицательны что даже не спас ситуацию красочный мультиплеер.
    Попытка откатить транзакцию и деактивировать игру в официальном магазинеприложении Blizzard ни к чему не привела. Мол я слишком много поиграл в их чудо творение. оценка 0 из 10. С таким подходом к делу нет желания даже обращать внимание на красивую графику....    … Expand

    Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
