I enjoyed the game with Viktor Reznov, a very charismatic person in the series. And I enjoyed playing on Russian side, because I am Russian. And now, in 2019, this game comes out...

    Well, yes, I’m Russian, but I live in Western Europe, and I am aware    I used to like the “Call of Duty” series. I remember when my first game was CoD 2, where the stealth mission in Stalingrad was my favorite. I enjoyed the game with Viktor Reznov, a very charismatic person in the series. And I enjoyed playing on Russian side, because I am Russian. And now, in 2019, this game comes out...

    Well, yes, I’m Russian, but I live in Western Europe, and I am aware of the many talks about tolerance and respect to all nations. These discussions also have influence on Activision and Infinite Ward. YET, you show my country as “The Kingdom of Evil” and my countrymen as slaughterers and sadistic murderers, who only wants to torture and kill innocent civilians, in the most brutal ways. You are just spreading a message to players: “Look at these Russians! We what they’re doing with civilians! They are not normal like us, they are terrorists!”. You even replaced American war crimes with Russian ones (talking about the “Highway of death”). The only positive Russian person in the game is Nikolai, and that’s it (Egor is Ukrainian, according to description).

    Don’t tell us that “it’s both sides of the war” and about those “gray spots” on the protagonist’s side. Their actions in the game are nothing, compared to Barkov’s and the Russian ones! And please don’t tell me that it’s just a game! In the same way, I can say that “Mein Kampf” is just a book. It’s a dirty propaganda against Russia and Russians themselves.

    I’m not a huge patriot of Russia, and I’m not a huge fan of Putin and Russia’s foreign policy, but you must have some sort of respect and tolerance towards your geopolitical enemy...just a little. But it seems that Activision and Infinity Ward don’t take care of that as much as me, so from now I will also not care about CoD-series, and I will stop buying their games. Thank you, developers of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” for that!

    This game is just amazing. The graphics engine is way different from Black ops 4 and just so much better than previous infinity ward developed games. The movement is nice. Campaign is the best since the older modern warfare series games. The spec ops is a nice addition, but a bit difficult. The multiplayer ground war mode is a way better version of battlefields version. The maps are reallyThis game is just amazing.     A lot of people are eating this game down for the in your face American propaganda, and while that is true people forget that Russia is NOT our ally. They're quite the opposite in fact so while I may hate the propaganda I also see Russians as a viable villain. Putting politics aside though, this game is great. Fun multiplayer, fun gameplay, and sweet graphics. Pick it up and ignore the propaganda.

    Honestly I do not like FPS games, I usually stick to fighters or RPGs but I this game is so much fun. Definitely been playing this game since it came out.

Не нужно так брать историю сингл плеера на штыки, это вымышленная история, которая приводит нас к началу той старой КОД модерн варфейр, которую мы так любили, где тоже были злые русские. Там же не о всей нации, а просто (вымышленный) гнилой генерал и солдаты которые следуют его приказам. Вы принимаете всё близко к сердцу, честное    10 злых русских из 10)

    Im playing this game with my jaw dropped & my hands sweating! What an amazing, exciting & intense game! Marvelous game. Thank you Activision for this greatness.Only downfall is it took almost 3hrs to install the game. ....ohhhh and please shut the heck up you sensitive cry babies about how real this game is!.. shut up pansies!

    This game shows the truth about the russians. I like the campaign, but it was short at the same time. Awesome gameplay and multiplayer. Hope to see more games like this in the future. Good work Infinity Ward.

    The footsteps in multi player are SOOO LOUD! My neighbors filed a noise complaint because they thought I was stomping around my apartment. Sarcasm obviously. For real though the foot steps being so loud really adds to the amount of people that camp in the game as if it wasn’t already bad enough. Rarely does a game of team death match finish because of score limit being reached. Also theThe footsteps in multi player are SOOO LOUD! The aim down sights speeds are ridiculously slow for smg’s compared to other weapons and are basically useless. Again the footsteps being so loud make it ridiculously difficult to run n gun. The marksman rifles take the same amount of shots to kill someone as the smg’s up close even though the damage stat is way higher. The only guns that are of any value are the ARs. Or the LMGs if you plan on camping (which at this point I would.) Very few multi player maps at this point as well.

    Also no zombies! Definitely would of waited until the price dropped if I knew there was no Zombies mode

    Super glad it’s boots on the ground and not a very futuristic game though

    Definitely needs a good amount of updates to get a higher rating    … Expand

    this is a solid game for call of duty. the return of the campaign is great. the low scores seem to be from Russian trolls unhappy that they have been portrayed as the bad guys we all know them to be. maybe don't poison ex nationals and annex parts of other countries while denying meddling in US elections if you dont want to be painted as bad fuys

It was a cool idea, and the game is pretty, don't get me wrong, but the balance is absolutely awful. If you don't use the M4A1, you stand absolutely no chance. Seriously, just don't get this game, and if you feel like you must then just rent it, play the campaign which should only take you like five hours, and then return it because it's just not worth your money… Expand

    - After claiming that the campaign would be "morally gray", you can summarize it as follows: Russians/Spetznas are bad and commit cruel war crimes, Americans/USMC and Britons/SAS are good and here to save the day. No wonder Russian fans of the series feel betrayed by this propagandistic portrayal and are reviewbombing this title. In the original Modern Warfare series for example, the Russians that were fought were "ultranationalist" terrorists, and they were fought alongside other Russian "loyalist" forces.
    - Campaign is rather short

    As the negative points, at least for me, far outweigh the positive ones, I would suggest not buying this game and waiting for a sale down the line. Everyone who is looking forward to Modern Warfare 2 or 3 style Spec Ops missions should definitely, as they are simply not available yet.    … Expand

    I hate the anti Russian angle but I hate the fact spec ops is total garbage more.

    Bought this game for co op with a friend and it's awful. No scoreboard or unlocks. No reason to replay missions and they're so hard it must be broken

I would agree that it made U.S and its allies some sort of "holy" ethical people. Which as an American and a veteran, we have not been the best either.     Люди которые занижают, вы умеете отличать реальность от игры?
    Вот история связанная с дорогой, сами американцы знают, что это они сотворили. Они не приписывали это к России, все в игре придуманно, даже если взято из реальности . Эти белые каски, любое совпадение с реальностью это просто случайность. Вспомните предыдущие части modern warfare, в них вы тоже    Честно говоря мне игра нравится.

    Вот история связанная с дорогой, сами американцы знают, что это они сотворили. Они не приписывали это к России, все в игре придуманно, даже если взято из реальности . Эти белые каски, любое совпадение с реальностью это просто случайность. Вспомните предыдущие части modern warfare, в них вы тоже стреляли в русских, и чет все расстраивались когда гоуста убили, убили соупа, а то что вы стреляете по русским то пофиг, а щас у вас патриотизм проснулся.     It was not my thought. The game is on a best of senarios but actually it's not a modern warfare. Technically is so far from origins. Camping is so short and trimmed but some missions have a breathtaking moments. It won't allow you to engage with story and characters and jumping senarios from one to another make us confused.     This game is amazing. The campaign is stellar, showing the more gruesome sides of war. The multiplayer is a blast and Spec-ops is a joy. I don't agree with the opinion that the game is Russophobic. Barkov is shown to work semi autonomously from Russia. I'm very happy that infinity ward brought back survival mode. Overall a great game

Bush ainda era o presidente dos EUA, os ataques de 11 de setembro de 2001 tinham ainda mais influência na cultura do que hoje, e o fascínio pelas operações modernas das forças militares do Ocidente era grande.

    A Activision e a Infinity Ward, sabiamente, aproveitaram esse momento para finalmente tirar Call of Duty da Segunda Guerra Mundial e trazê-lo à modernidade, diferenciando-o de rivais como Medal of Honor, Halo e Battlefield, que ou se mantinham no passado, ou imaginavam futuros diferentes.

    Agora, anos depois de CoD4 e suas continuações — sem contar um remaster —, reiniciar essa franquia com um novo jogo, agora simplesmente chamado Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, significa lidar comomos impactados de forma diferentes pela ideia de atirar uma metralhadora. Para muitos, armas automáticas estão mais associadas a massacres de civis do que ao combate de infantaria.

    E assim, pelo menos na campanha, o novo Modern Warfare ousa explorar não só a guerra, mas o pensamento e a moralidade dos seus personagens com uma história mais brutal. Mas, como um jovem saindo da puberdade para a vida adulta, o jogo não sabe bem lidar com todas as responsabilidades que a maturidade demanda. A história do novo Modern Warfare envolve um país fictício no Oriente Médio — Urzequistão — que está no meio de uma guerra civil.     As forças russas, aliás, ocupam o país há anos e são responsáveis por acontecimentos trágicos que afetaram diretamente os protagonistas, auxiliados na narrativa pelo agente da CIA Alex, o sargento da SAS Kyle Garrick e um velho conhecido dos fãs: Capitão John Price.

    A seguir vem uma série de missões que se encontram dentro do esperado de Call of Duty. Uma hora você está num tiroteio gigante no meio de uma cidade no Oriente Médio, e em outra se esconde em meio à escuridão para eliminar alvos numa operação secreta em Londres. Em termos de gameplay, a série continua trazendo momentos cinematográficos e variedade de mecânicas associadas à perspectiva em primeira pessoa, seja no pilotar de um helicóptero, aviões de controle remoto, no ataque à distância com uma sniper ou até mesmo controlando uma criança tentando sobreviver uma invasão.

    Diferente do Modern Warfare original, essa nova versão quebra a perspectiva em primeira pessoa com o uso de cutscenes excelentes e bem dirigidas (o visual do jogo é o tipo de coisa que só é possível com um orçamento fora do comum), mas a grande parte da ação ainda acontece enquanto você está com o controle na mão.

    Essa sempre foi a principal arma da campanha de Call of Duty: te manter dentro da ação, controlando o personagem em cada um dos momentos dignos de cinema, olhando por seus olhos. O que muda, entretanto, é o que essas missões demandam que você veja. Suicídios com bombas, assassinatos, tiroteios em capitais como Londres e até mesmo a morte de famílias — muitas vezes através das suas ações — estão entre os elementos mais delicados que testemunhamos na história. Em uma determinada missão, ao infiltrar as casas de terroristas da Al-Qatala, não é incomum, após matar o homem que mirava em você, ver sua esposa — chorando e gritando — pegar a arma que seu marido usava para tentar te matar. A escolha é clara: mate-a ou perca o jogo. Modern Warfare te força a olhar enquanto você aperta o gatilho. É brutal, mas ao mesmo tempo, não é gratuito. Você sai de cenas como essa sentindo o peso de um conflito como esse, o custo que isso traz para vidas humanas.

    Ninguém representa isso mais do que Farah, a líder do grupo que se rebela contra a ocupação russa e contra a Al-Qatala no Urzequistão. Ela é uma verdadeira guerreira e suas missões contém as cenas mais pesadas e emocionais da história, incluindo tortura e traição.     I am not very good at politics but even for me "evil russians" look like cheap propaganda in this game.

    Este nuevo Modern Warfare ha hecho que renueve mi fe en la saga. Con el motor gráfico renovado, un modo campaña muy bueno y la guinda del pastel, un modo multijugador que no deja indiferente a nadie. Sin duda alguna, los Call of Duty de Infinity Ward son los mejores de la saga con diferencia. Esta entrega es la excusa perfecta para retornar a la saga, no lo piensen mas!

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
