    I felt it necessary to create an account simply to combat these COMPLETELY unfounded negative reviews, they are doing the game a serious injustice. How unfair! These people have most likely put in a couple hours MAX into this amazing game, and then they come on with relatively minor complaints and give it a ZERO?? When reviewers do this they proceed to lose all credibility, period. Honestly, pay no attention to these reviews, they are bogus, written by extremely immature gamers who are unable to write objective, fair reviews. All that being said, I AM LOVING THIS GAME! I am around 12 hours into the main story line (I felt that was enough to write this review) and I am truly in awe of this game, the graphics, combat, story, voice acting, writing, new gameplay mechanics. I am in Batman heaven. Yes, the Batmobile is a TAD overused, but it is still FUN, I promise. That is my only "complaint" (if you can even call it that). Other than that, so far this is gaming perfection. Rocksteady has proved yet again that they truly know how to make amazing, top shelf games. The current user score is at a surprising and shameful 7.0. This is wildly inaccurate, I can assure you. Seriously guys!? Pay attention to the critic reviews, they tell the true story. If you loved (or even remotely liked) Arkham Asylum and/or Arkham City, or if you love dark, suspenseful, insanely fun action/stealth games, I could not recommend this game more. I am giving it a well deserved 10/10.… Expand

    It's best game from Arkham franchise, and for my opinion best game in the world. Haters always gonna hate, but let be honest - Rocksteady are professionals, they made it again, they again help us to be the Batman. Thanks them for this wonderful days in Gotham city.

    This game is one of the best Next gen games (now current gen) People complain about the bat mobile being over the top which it sometimes is but the majority of the time its great fun. This is all boosted by every bit of arkham city and asylum which we all know and love.

    A perfect game for the new generation. They really got the soul of Batman series with this incredible end of saga. Awesome game at all. Batman and batmobile has a impressive synergy and both complete the gameplay experience. If you really are a fan of Batman series and want to feel the Batman universe and all it's atmosphere with an awesome graphics + gameplay, this game is for you.

Rocksteady read has done everything they can to make this work and you guys just come here and complain about it? If I was Rocksteady, I would honestly just stop making games all together for you people.

    Now, this is a message to everyone. If you're thinking about not buying the game because of some lousy reviews, please get the game. Seriously, don't let someone else's opinion decide whether you are going to buy a game or not. If you WANT to play it, then get it! It doesn't matter what others are saying, because who cares! When it comes to gaming, the only thing that matters is YOUR opinion!

    Anywho, sorry for all the ranting, but people just need to be told. This game is great, it is everything I was hoping for in the Batman finale, and it has blown me away on every scale. I am terrible sorry for those who did not enjoy it, but maybe those are the same people who enjoy CoD. Who knows? But wow, Arkham Knight took my breath away. It is predictable, yes, but does that ruin the game!? Heck no! It actually helps if you try not to think about it. Just play the game and enjoy it! But yes, the gameplay is flawless, graphics are stunning, story is on point, and the sound is great. Even the characters are wonderful. Come on: it's the same batman game we've been with since Arkham Asylum. Only this time, it's a lot bigger than Asylum and a lot more addicting then City. This game is beyond amazing. It never disappoints me tbh. And to all the Batmobile haters: I love driving it around. I don't care if it's forced on me, I'm going to drive it for fun because it's just THAT cool. I love it. Maybe add the Batwing next? Overall, amazing game and I recommend this title to everyone.

    This game just does everything right! Combat is still same, with some new moves and enemy types. Stealth is awesome because of the new gadgets, Story is awesome and Driving batmobile is so much fun. Only thing that i didn´t like so much is that there is too much tank combat but it´s still fun.

    People pls if u want to cry about that pc version sucks go rate pc version not ps4.

Admittedly I was underwhelmed with the game to begin with, but that's not surprising considering I was concentrating on the campaign which is (quite sensibly) of a similar style to the two (and a half) previous versions of the title. My advice would be 'don't just throttle the campaign', allow yourself to make use of the mission wheel that will have you up to all sorts of additional content, and this is where you will find many new concepts in the game. The Batmobile is not as big an issue as it has been reported here and there, where it is heavily utilised early on (in the campaign) to introduce you to it, it moves on quick enough. I have found the majority of Batmobile activities are in the optional sidequests. Personally I am really starting to love having it in game, now I am getting the hang of using it, a few upgrades help too. Definitely use the 'toggle battle mode' in the game options if you prefer a traditional L2/R2 brake setup, and would prefer not to have to hold down a button at all times to remain in battle mode. The combat as always is great. I've read complaints about the simplicity, in regards to being able to just use triangle, which is a counter, and weak as **** Yeah it's a perfect counter that is almost invulnerable (early on at least), but if you choose to rely on it, then you're fights will be boring as hell and very long, which is on you. My experience with the Batman games has always been, the more experienced you get, the more fun you have. Seasoned players of the previous should defo go hard difficulty straight up.

    TLDR:
    + Plenty of new concepts and content in the well designed Mission wheel. The fun is in the variety.
    + Awesome combat that can be as simple or complex as varying players want.
    + Batmobile = Beast!! (and entirely optional for the most part after a few bits early on in campaign)
    + Enjoyment scales with your skill, the better you get the more you'll love it.
    - Potentially disappointing for those just wanting to smash the campaign. Rushing it could well ruin it.

    This is amazing! For anyone to even think about giving this game less than a 9 is ludicrous. This is batman in the purest form, it is my childhood, it is the kind of homages to the original comic book series - The slick, sharp and dark Batman.
    You will see a lot of reviews saying that the batmobile is overused and unnecessarily forced upon you, but honestly, if you don;t want to use the    This is amazing! Go and do some side missions (which are fantastic in themselves) or solve riddler trophies. This is a game packed full of content and you can take the game at your own pace! I have had it since the midnight launch and I am generally just enjoying gliding round Gotham beating up rapscallions who tip over cars.

    I was intimidated by some reviews and how they.....disliked the mechanic of certain things like the batmobile and said it had a horrible and cliché plot. So when I went to pick it up yesterday it was like god was postponing my chance to play it. HOWEVER I was amazingly pleased with what I got. I admit that the batmobile was hard to use at first but as time progresses I mastered it. I wont say this persons (and refer to him as "this person") name but it was amazing to see this person, that whenever I saw this person, I would stop what I was doing just to here the words this person had to say. Enjoying every bit of it. I no longer thought possible for a upgrade in any aspect of fighting. But, as Sefton Hill himself said, there was still so much they could still do. And they did. the fighting was awesome and flashy, kind of felt like I was playing some sort of Japanese fighting game with the flashy booms and colorful streaks you left behind with a punch, and the combat is as smooth as ever if not more so then ever before especially with the new edition of dual play. I also believe the predatory was amazing, considering that with gameplay they showed so far, they still made it hard as hell. There would even be times that up to 15+ men would be n one room. And there is enough things in there that can aid you in taking on those 15 dudes. The plot is something I wont spoil but will say it is more interesting then recent DC comic titles and I NEVER felt like the batmobile out did the Bat himself. Of course I prefer flying (yeah when you upgrade him far enough you can un officially flying around Gotham to the point I should be wearing a red cape......which you can as a bonus skin), but when duty calls I love taking the Batmobile for a spin(still trying to learn how to do a donut). Another thing is, is that I was scared of the possibility of a empty Gotham. LOL NOPE, it is littered and riddled with side quests and riddles. and there are some very cool ones, like the mysterious identity snatcher(yeah were have I heard that one before) and creature that flies around causing a mistaken of identity with the thugs around the city( who also provide a ton of easter eggs to characters we all love and know) . Honestly I aint a professional reviewer and I probably said some things no one gives a flying rats ass about, and was probably as informative as a hyped up friend who know less then you do. But if you where ever like me, scared , nervous, and very curious but had to retreat from the internet for 5 day so you would not be spoiled. I gave this game a 10 because it deserves it based on killer graphics, bone-crunching-bat-brawling-game-play, an intriguing batman story and a bat-mobile that turns into a villain immobilizing battle tank. It builds on the foundation from previous games and expands with the franchise with the addition of the bat-tank/bat-mobileI can't believe this game is only achieving a 6.7 user score. So what if you don't like the bat mobile ? game is gorgeous and the developers took the time to create a gorgeous game. that alone deserves at least a 7. and anything found enjoyable the points add up from there. people these days . no appreciation

    Yes the batmobile is used a lot but people are forgetting to mention that 85% of that stuff is optional!
    A lot of them are side missions you don't have to do.. so if you don't like it, just don't play the missions.

    I personally loved the mix up that the batmobile has added to the gameplay.
    There is nothing better than gliding over the city and thinking "Imma drive on this one" and pressing one button to have your tank catch you out of mid air in seamless gameplay awesomeness.

    Seriously, play this game for 30 minutes without a smile crossing your face and I question your humanity.

Also a few hrs in you get to change the toggle for battle mode from L2 to R1 cause L2 is kinda of awkward since most gamers use that for brakes. So now the braking is on L2 and square is used for power slide along with R2.

    for me this was the best game ive played so far this generation, improved combat from the previous games, outstanding graphics, and by far the best storyline that has been in an arkham game. Not to mention the batmobile was added and seems to have better mechanics than most games that have even more driving. All i can say about arkham knight is it is a fantastic ending to an amazing franchise!

This game is glorious on all accounts, the visuals, the gameplay, and the story. Holy crap the story... I think it's beautiful and well crafted, and I was kind of worried since Paul Dini did not return to write this game. My god, the people at Rocksteady definitely knew what they were doing as this is a great Batman tale, probably high up there as the best. Batman has never been tested as a character as much as he is here, and it's astounding to see how he pulls through.

    Like a lot of other people here, I'm not entirely a big fan of all the Batmobile combat missions. They were too long, and there are too many for my taste. However, what's amazing about this game is that it allows you the player to take control of the paste. Don't want to continue the main mission that has a high chance or a Bat-Tank mission? Well then explore the city a little bit, solve a murder case, catch that thing flying in the sky, save Jack Ryder, hunt down penguin, or try to solve one of those brain teasing Riddler trophies. Trust me, the Bat-Tank missions aren't as bad if you play through it that way.

    I've read some threads about how people are disappointed with how they utilized certain characters and left questions unanswered. One in particular was about Hush. Yeah, I wish he had more to do, but he was on his way to destroying Bruce by attempting to kill Lucius and take over Wayne Enterprises. That was satisfying enough for me, but I can understand that criticism. Also, I would have liked a fist fight with Deathstroke, not a tank fight. Other than those gripes, all the sidemissions were fun and allowed you to get a better understanding for these villain characters.

    All in all, I'm not sure what all the humbug is about. Perhaps you'll see me in the forums retorting back at your claims of the game being bad because X reason, but I would say that if you're a big Batman fan then all of the things Rocksteady does in this game will be truly satisfying.    … Expand

    Clearly on the the best Batman games out there. A true masterpiece. I truly feel like Batman when playing this amazing game. Definitely the best Arkham game out there. Do yourself a favor and buy this game. You wont regret it!

    Arkham Knight is a really good game, though the batmobile is used a lot, it's still a great thing to drive around the world. I don't get the hate for this game, it's still a great game like Arkham City, it's storyline is good, the characters are good.

    The Arkham Knight was a predictable character half way through though.

    Gran finale della trilogia Rocksteady. Ottima presentazione, un po' lungo forse il tempo iniziale dedicato alla batmobile. Tecnicamente superlativo su PS4. Difficilmente era possibile realizzare un epilogo migliore di questo. Complimenti Rocksteady.

I've played the previous games, and arkham night builds on arkham city's open world by adding 3 locations you can visit. The story blew me away. And the ending was awesome. The graphics are phenomenal. One of the best I have ever seen. (But pc port is bad). All in all, this is anOne of the best video games ever made! When I played it, it blew my mind.     Batman: Arkham Knight is an amazing conclusion to the arkham trilogy. The game has an awesome main story with a variety of twists to keep you interested and Most Wanted missions that are fun to play and make you feel like a detective.     This game is excellent! The visuals on the Playstation 4 looks AMAZING! The story feels like being in a Christopher Nolan Batman movie. Driving the batmobile is a lot of fun, but it is a bit tough to actually control the car. The map is way, WAY bigger than arkham city. In conclusion, this game is a crap ton of fun!

The combat is just as, if not better than ever and the plot is spot on. My real score for it is a 9.5.     This game is epic! From everything to the graphics to the Arkham Knight and Scarecrow, to the improved combat, animations, sprawling open world, amount of detail, boss fights, ending, relationships and characters and freaking BATMOBILE, this game is everything that you would want from a Batman game and more! Going to definitely be GOTY contender for me!

    Never played this game, however, I just simply had to make an account to combat the '0' ratings that this game is getting just because the PC version isn't working properly. Review it on the PC page you degenerate morons. Anyone with at decent IQ level will know that this game does not deserve a 0. Hence why I have given it a 10 to help give it the rating it deserves.

    Bloody great game!!! The most complete Arkham game. Some may dislike the batmobile but I think it adds a great element to an already great series. Amazing next-gen visuals faster combat abd great new moves. This is with a doubt my favourt Arkham ganme, good way to finnish the series. Fan of Batman or not you must play this game!

    The game is beautiful in all aspects, the gameplay, graphics, etc. Its mostly the best Arkham game in pair with Arkham City. Probably a contender of GOTY.

Go understand.

    I've also seen people complaining about the side missions, saying they are unrelated to the main story... Again, WHAT? It´s a side mission, it's supposed to be like that, and while it's true they don't follow the main story line, all of them play a huge part in the plot and really feel like missions from the Batman universe.

    Go play the game and check for yourselves, I haven't had this much fun this generation yet. I'm currently at 87% of completion and about to start new game plus. This is the true Batman simulator and it´s totally worth it.    … Expand

And on top of all that, on exploration of Gotham, you will find that the batmobile is only forced upon you during about 25% of the story, and as a fun gadget, form of combat and mode of transportation.

    In Gotham, the skies are pretty empty, and I feel that gamers would complain about "not enough Batmobile" if it was used less. You can never please some people. Also, the story is the best and has the best plot twist in the series.

    Overall, This is one of the greatest games ever, with too much criticism for its own good. Wind Waker also got criticized like this for its graphics on launch.    … Expand

    Being a huge Batman Arkham fan boy, I love this game! I think it is the best in the series and is the best game of the year (so far). The combat is as brilliant and fluid as ever, I love the being able to fight along side Robin and Night Wing, and also the story is just great. With that being said this game does have its flaws,so that is why i would not give it a 10, realistically I wouldBeing a huge Batman Arkham fan boy, I love this game!     This game is perfect, there are a few minor sections that I did not enjoy (the final boss battles with the Arkham Knight), but all is forgiven as Rocksteady doesn't fail to deliver another amazing Batman game. Easily game of the year for me

Batman Arkham city WAS my favorite game of all time now rocksteady has given me this. I love how they brought joker back and keep him dead at the same time. Not to mention the fantastic voice acting of the Batman the animated series legends Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamel returning plus the killing joke and death in the family reenactments. Though I figured out that Jason Todd was the Arkham Knight long before I wanted I enjoyed how they changed the origin of the red hood. If this really is the last batman game from rocksteady I know that did what they wanted...to go out with a BANG!… Expand

    The Riddler side-missions are unforgiving and they work your brain quite well. The story is great (cannot spoil a great and fabulous story!) Around 7 hours of story missions and gameplay, in fact more for the unexperienced players

    The voice acting is superb, in fact, maybe the best in Rocksteady's trilogy. My favorite is main antagonist Scarecrow, he just sounds EPIC!

The thing's most major new mechanic is the Batmobile, which has proven controversial among fans. Personally, I think it's a great addition. The car mode provokes an intense feeling of speed and the tank mode satisfyingly allows you to deal out some heavy damage. Perhaps it is leaned on a little too heavily in some scripted segments and in some of the Riddler's puzzles, but it's an enjoyable element of the experience that never truly feels cumbersome. Besides, it can launch you into the air, which is indescribably fulfilling. The city itself is peppered with stuff to do, all of which progresses side-plots than can result in you apprehending several well-known villains. This is great because it means that there is no busywork. It really is a treat to see your progress in real time, as Gotham PD fills up with the likes of Two-Face and the Penguin. Of course, there's also the elusive Riddler to contend with. He's put his trophies all over the place yet again and given you another set of lore-based riddles to solve. They're all tied to a series of 'Saw (2004)'-like traps and, this time, the completion of thse bring you one step closer to freeing Catwoman (who has been captured by the rogue and assists you in her own escape). This a great way of making the Riddler stuff seem even more urgent than it has before, as it directly impacts a playable character who is an important part of the series. The game, as a whole, has a strong sense of urgency to it. It supposedly plays out in real time and it pushes the Dark Knight to his limits. It's filled with effective storytelling, engaging characters and exciting gameplay. It's an extremely enjoyable experience. 10/10… Expand

    Great combat, great atmosphere and a great story. The bat mobile sections in the game felt forced, once I got the hang of what I was supposed to do I had a great time. Not my favourite in the series but is still my favourite game of the year (so far.)

Never before have I been as captivated by a game as I did here, I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed this game, all around one of the best games I have played in decades. If not ever. I started off being very aggravated by the idea of Paul Dini not playing a large part in the writing this time around. But they pulled it off very well. This is without a doubt the Best Arkham game I have played.

    The only problem I have with it is the 3 endings. The first ending you get is flawless, top job to Rocksteady. The second is.. I don't want to say **** but I feel it's an accurate description, The third is meh. I thought after getting 100% completion (in game) there would be a good ending third ending but I was left unsatisfied. however it did not take away from the overall gaming experience. This is definitely next gen. The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is flawless, the bat mobile is awesome and My god when the Joker popped up I was screaming with excitement, that was the only time a game ever got me to be genuinely shocked and very excited. I dislike how there weren't any great boss fights but I like the narrative enough to forgive that.

    The Story is the best of the Arkham games, the gameplay is better than ever, the bat mobile is incredible, and the first ending, marvellous job guys. It was a great way to end the Arkham series by being able to lock up all the villains too, that was a nice touch :). I rate Batman Arkham Knight 10/10. Rocksteady read has done everything they can to make this work and you guys just come here and complain about it? If I was Rocksteady, I would honestly just stop making games all together for you people.

    Now, this is a message to everyone. If you're thinking about not buying the game because of some lousy reviews, please get the game. Seriously, don't let someone else's opinion decide whether you are going to buy a game or not. If you WANT to play it, then get it! It doesn't matter what others are saying, because who cares! When it comes to gaming, the only thing that matters is YOUR opinion!

    Anywho, sorry for all the ranting, but people just need to be told. This game is great, it is everything I was hoping for in the Batman finale, and it has blown me away on every scale. I am terrible sorry for those who did not enjoy it, but maybe those are the same people who enjoy CoD. Who knows? But wow, Arkham Knight took my breath away. It is predictable, yes, but does that ruin the game!? Heck no! It actually helps if you try not to think about it. Just play the game and enjoy it! But yes, the gameplay is flawless, graphics are stunning, story is on point, and the sound is great. Even the characters are wonderful. Come on: it's the same batman game we've been with since Arkham Asylum. Only this time, it's a lot bigger than Asylum and a lot more addicting then City. This game is beyond amazing. It never disappoints me tbh. And to all the Batmobile haters: I love driving it around. I don't care if it's forced on me, I'm going to drive it for fun because it's just THAT cool. I love it.     I love this game. It's not as good as Arkham Asylum or Arkham City, but it's better than Arkham Origins. The gameplay has been refined, and I love it. The story is alright. I hate, I repeat, HATE the militia. Their missions are annoying and kinda hard. I'm honestly not bothered by the batmobile, though the battles can be repetitive, and I hate a certain battle with a certain orange andI love this game.     The final game in the batman franchise has certainly proved to be the most successful. With a big detailed open world and amazing graphics that follows it. Arkham knight does a great job of making you feel like your playing the role of batman and taking on the numerous villains. Also, it has a engaging story and great voice over.     The graphics are incredible, the light effects and the effects of rain are excellent.
    Drive the Batmobile in this game is very rewarding.

    Nothing but a masterpiece I must admit there was a little tearing coming out when it ended. I find the third act of the story frustrating though. Also for all those new people playing this there's a 6GB patch plus DLC is going to take a lot of data but its worth it

Gotham does seem smaller with the attention to using the car A LOT, but you only forced to be in the vehicle during certain sections, so you can go on foot at any time.

    One of my favorite things that I loved was the integration of the GCPD Lock-up and how you progressed through the game AND the DLC! Speaking of the villians; ALMOST everyone is featured this time around and are respectfully showcased, save for the few that were either killed off following the previous games. (But that doesn't guarantee that they WON'T come back in the game!)

    Fair warning for those that DO get the Season Pass, AVOID playing the side stories UNTIL you've beaten the game. Some of them contain MAJOR spoilers on the main story!

    I'm not much fan of comics. I've never read any comics. I saw only first Superman and Batman movie and than I'm not much interested. BUT this game is AWESOME. So many different, clever, fun tasks and challenges. A lot of hours of great game-play, great story, great story moves, great melee fights, great gadgets, this is rightly in the best games ever made category.

    Fun, surprising, sometimes even scary, this was my favourite game of 2015. It made me feel like a badass during the whole game, once you get the hang of the controls, you'll have a fantastic experience. Excellent voice acting and great variety of skins, which kept me entertained even after I finished the game. A 10/10 for sure

Playing the trilogy all on PS4 and getting Platinum trophies on all three is really the way to go. Nothing goes unseen, and everything is appreciated.     Maybe not the best archenemy, but the game is not just the final 30 minutes. Great story.

    Batman: Arkham Knight is the best looking game in the series so far, and includes a lot of cool stuff for fans of Batman. But at the same time it’s starting to feel like Rocksteady is almost too comfortable. It lacks new content, except the pretty bad designed Batmobile parts. If you haven’t played the previous games that much you will probably think that this is one of the best games this year.
