Apr 8, 2019At the end of the day, I love AC3. I know that I’m not the average player, having studied the Marquis de Lafayette at a college level, but I love sinking hours into Ubisoft’s version of colonial America, where the oft-overlooked make the most important choices of all. Also, I can attack as many Redcoats as I want, with the only consequence being a city-wide manhunt. With this fresh coat of paint, Assassin’s Creed III has never been more fun—providing you enjoyed it in the first place.

Mar 28, 2019The graphic updates are immediately noticeable even without direct comparison.
-
Mar 28, 2019A pack big enough to guarantee tons of gameplay hours. The graphical improvements are evident, but they don't mask some defects in the mechanics of the original game.
-
Apr 5, 2019Assassin's Creed III Remastered is a worthwhile trip back in time, and the smattering of upgrades make for a much better experience for longtime fans and series newcomers.
-
Apr 4, 2019If the new stuff is scarce in Assassin's Creed III Remastered, the game still offers a good experience, and offers a nice bundle with Assassin's Creed Liberation. We would have loved a bit more polish on the graphics though.
-
Apr 3, 2019Assassin's Creed III Remastered offers high quality and remains a compelling experience. I have no doubt - it's the best remaster this series has gotten thus far. The developers managed to deliver more than just higher resolution, but then some aspects still seem somewhat undercooked.
-
Mar 28, 2019Assassin's Creed III Remastered is better and most complete than the original, although the improvements don’t really enhance the experience all that much.
-
Mar 28, 2019Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered offers some good upgrades, with smoother visuals and some UI fixes. If the overall experience feels dated at time, it still is a solid experience.
-
Apr 24, 2019Assassin's Creed 3, for good and bad, but with notorious improvements. The game introduces tons of content, including Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered.
-
Mar 28, 2019The main improvement is graphical, and the scenery of 18th-century Colonial America looks fantastic. There are even some meaningful tweaks made to stealth mechanics to make it feel a little more up to date and less aggravating. Where this remaster falters are places where AC3 can't be changed without fundamentally remaking the entire game from the ground up, namely a stiff animation style, repetitive mission structure, and that goddamn final sequence.
-
Mar 28, 2019Assassin’s Creed III Remastered is a worthy opportunity to revisit one of the most undervalued games in the series. Despite its imperfections, the world that Ubisoft created 7 years ago manages to preserve its magic. An experience that has been reinforced by a set of technical and playable improvements that accompany this new version.
-
Mar 28, 2019Assassin’s Creed III: Remastered brings with it the flaws of the original, but has made some improvements both in terms of graphics and gameplay.
-
May 10, 2019Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered is a collection that comes packed with a heap of visual improvements and gameplay tweaks, yet maintains all the things that divided players back with the original release. There are still problems around, but it is a collection that transforms the experience to the modern-day standards and keeps us reminiscing the days when the series had much more promise.
-
Apr 11, 2019A good enough new version of Assassin's Creed III.
-
Apr 1, 2019Assassin’s Creed III Remastered certainly does not turn an average game into a masterpiece, but as a makeover operation we are more than satisfied.

Mar 28, 2019Basically, Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered is better looking, but that’s about it. It’s the same game for better or worse, complete with all the bugs and awkwardness that were disliked the first time around, but also with the stuff that people enjoyed. The bugs are too numerous for me to really recommend it, but they were there last time round as well. If you could ignore them then, you can probably ignore them now and enjoy the game’s positives, but it’s still a shame that Ubisoft couldn’t have rounded off more of the rough edges in this remaster.
