I think many of the reviews out there are just too biased by the last errors by Ubisoft. This remaster is alright, specially if you're playing in 4K HDR and have taken the time to adjust your TV and HDR settings properly. The only area that needs improvement for sure are some of the faces, specially early game, but it improves as the game moves on. Please note this a remaster, not a remake, and still they have put good work in it and it looks much better than the original. I definitely recommend it if you did not play the original one.

Not a Ubisoft apologist at all, even if they've been making the right moves lately. I played the remaster on a PS4 Pro properly configured on a huge 4K TV. And it looks like a 2012 game with the settings on ultra on a huge screen. Improvements here and there, and of course since they changed their old "Arkham" control scheme 4 years ago, it gets some getting used to, but it's what youNot a Ubisoft apologist at all, even if they've been making the right moves lately. Otherwise it'd be a remake. I must say I'm halfway through the campaign, and it holds up alright, so I'm giving it the same score I gave the original, because beside all that, it's the weakest AC game, and the protagonist is bland as hell, but I went in knowing that. I think people are used to remasters from pretty new games, and are judging it based on unfair standards. And most of the 0's are just review bombing, as it's the new trend here. Expand

For 40€ players get a fair package with AC III including all its DLCs and pre-order/deluxe bonuses, as well as the full AC:Liberation HD. Even gameplay was overhauled in very minor, but useful ways, most importantly the horrendous weapon select from the old base game was overhauled and there is a bunch of other stuff as well.
Now, this is a Remaster very true to the original and if you didn't like that one, ACIII Remastered won't change that. However, if you liked the game as much as I did, it is a great package to get the game on current consoles with overhauls that were needed to make it as playable nowadays as it was back then.
On the other hand, it is still somewhat buggy in a few areas and the mostly stellar new lighting makes visible some more ugly parts from the old game that were more hidden back then (most notably the faces in some cutscenes).

AC III marked a turning point for the AC franchise in 2012. For better or worse. Looking back, I now see it as a successful blend of some of the older virtues the Assassin's Creed games had and that are now lost in the newer titles, and some of the improvements that have been made since them.

Ремастер хорошо, может немного подкачали лица, но, все лучше, чем те баги, которые были на ПК.

I don't understand all of the hate for this game. I played it for the first time over the last few weeks and really enjoyed my time with it. Conner isn't a bad character - the story is pretty good. The thing that I really enjoyed was the setting. I thought that alone carried the game compared to some of the other AC games. I'm glad I went back to this.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Great Game, It still deserves the original games 8.5/10 Rating it got as a game.
Has new minor bugs due to new engine and new lighting BUT that doesnt mean it is a 4/10 anyone who is stupid to review bomb this is just trying to be bias on how the actual gameplay is.

it includes the new features from later games and fixes minor old bugs but still has some bugs.
Thats being said it is an amazing game and a classic at this point.

Hope they do the same and remaster BrotherHood Next!

(only gave it 10 in a feeble attempt to improve the clearly impulsively made 0 scores lol. Actual score... 7- to to generous.... 5.5 or 6.5 out of 10)
Can't help but feel most of these reviews are just pre-existing hate for the game, rather than whether it objectively improved in terms of visuals and mechanics (... can't change the preexisting shorting comings of story, character, .. etc

Can't help but feel most of these reviews are just pre-existing hate for the game, rather than whether it objectively improved in terms of visuals and mechanics (... can't change the preexisting shorting comings of story, character, .. etc in a remaster of game that was never well received). While it hardly stands among the best remasters, its no where near as objectively worsening the game (... than it already did to itself in its original release) like the Ezio Collections (my gosh... that one NPC face from hell in the first opening scene with ezio and that gang, you all know what I'm talking about), but it did enhance the visuals noticeably and made some minor tweaks to gameplay: my god, the expansion in the crafting system definitely a welcome addition. Then little subtle tweaks to certain stealth and combat mechanics that made it better.
Nothing groundbreaking, and doesn't change it from being the fundamentally mediocre game it was (Black Flag was the one to properly implement that innovative changes in the series more properly), but nevertheless, visually improved and a mildly/moderately smoother gameplay

.... otherwise its still one of (if not) the weakest games in the series....and we all know we're only tempted to go back to AC3 for the brutally satisfying Tomahawk combat lol.
Youre better off replaying Black Flag, if any AC's after Ezio (where the series went down hill after, Black Flag aside)

Played the in late 2020 and as all bugs has been fixed I could say that this is one of the best story in the AC series. Graphics is also much better than in AC2 but not much better than in AC2:Revelations.

I played all the contents of this Game, I felt it was not as good as the other AC games I played, but at least made me curious about the AC Series and felt it was worth to play (Liberation was the one I liked less, because there were certain stories that were slow).

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Honestly, I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't rush it. The world's colors are disappointingly grey, but the combat (slaughtering the entire British army 1000 times) is fun. Though Desmond is a jersey the game is fun. Yet the ending leaves little to the imagination. Also, I think Kaniehť:ío and Haytham's romance could have been softly implied. Other than this, the game is amazing, and has great missions, and awesome characters, real or not. Play it. Expand

Answer: 75 characters is between 10 words and 19 words with spaces included in the character count. If spaces are not included in the character count, then 75 characters is between 12 words and 25 words.

For better or worse, Assassin's Creed III Remastered introduces the polarising Connor Kenway to current generation consoles. Aside from some impressive graphical reworking, it is in many ways a simple port: bugs and issues with the original remain largely the same outside of some much-appreciated quality of life improvements and a handful of minor tweaks. Those who enjoyed the original, as well as Assassin's Creed fans who haven't yet played it, will likely appreciate this remaster for what it is, as long as nothing revolutionary is expected of it.

Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered is a collection that comes packed with a heap of visual improvements and gameplay tweaks, yet maintains all the things that divided players back with the original release. There are still problems around, but it is a collection that transforms the experience to the modern-day standards and keeps us reminiscing the days when the series had much more promise.

Assassin's Creed III Remastered is a mixed bag. It's repetitive combat and lackluster visuals, strung through with a few bright spots of naval combat and exploration, and unique displays of combat. Narratively, the game is as weak as they come. There's no mystery. Just an obligatory plot to finish the fight between the Assassins and Templars. Not to mention the mumbo jumbo with the First Civilization. The game is frustrating and not worth another look.
