As a video game its fun, a good story but the main missions arguably don't have enough gameplay in between cutscenes. The homestead side missions and the fort liberation missions are fun but other than that most of the side content is tedious. Despite what some people say the controls re absolutely fine, they are the same as black flag and rogue. Playing this game also reminded me how much parkour is missing from the current games. And once you beat the campaign you automatically unlock loads of cool cheats. Unlike some of the previous assassins creed games, the modern day missions are actually really fun and are arguably better than many of the main historical missions as they have a better balance between cutscene and gameplay, with a good amount of gameplay between each cutscene. This game is definitely alot of fun and the fully optional naval missions are also great.

This game is also great value as it comes with all dlc and the full game assassins creed liberation. Liberation was originally for the psvita, and it shows. It is clearly not of the same quality as the main game, but its basically free so hard to complain.

In terms of the remaster, its very standard. Now runs is 4k on a ps4 pro, and has full HDR support. I played it on a pro and had frequent frame rate dips whenever I was running through trees. It seemed to go as low as 12 fps on horseback and running through trees, and this was on a pro and it is effectively a ps3 game. Not ideal. the most noticeable changes from the original are that the resolution is 4k, and that the colours are much nicer now. Granted there is a lot of yellow and blue, but its way better than the gray the original loved so much. There are also some nice quality of life improvements, such as the hud and weapon menus being much improved, you can now whistle whenever so stealth is now vaguely possible, as well as free aim and double assassinations from low profile to make life easier. Overall it is a good game in a solid remaster, despite some frame rate issues, and if you are a fan of the series and haven't played this one, i would definitely recommend it. However if you have not played assassins creed before, this isn't a good jumping on point, and if you have played this game before, there is little playing it again in this, as it isn't exactly revolutionary.

Assassin 's Creed 3 itself was very important to the series because she spent 2 years topping up on the spot and telling Ezio 's story. There was a truly open world here, not a separate city. And the gameplay became more diverse, and also the mesh is chosen very successful. But the main character Connor turned out to be completely faceless and not memorable. There are elements that have succeeded, such as tasks to improve the Estate or maritime tasks. And there are one-of-a-kind painful tasks where you only need to listen to conversations. And the ending is mediocre, there is no connection that Desmond 's story is over. The game was not bad in 2012, but now its remaster causes only frustration and boredom. You can 't do remasters like that. Expand

Итог: Ремастер получился средним посравнению оригинала поэтому моя оценка 6/10 и это жалко.

I'll just give a 5 because of the respect I have to AC saga, but this remaster sucks. Full of bugs, even more than the original one... What a shame, Ubisoft Barcelona.

    1. Graphical glitches. Apart from your standard phasing-out textures, I routinely experience models phasing through the ground or through each other, interrupted actions sometimes finish their animations despite what is happening in the "reality" of the game is different, and other things like HUD interference from quests different from the quest I am currently on.
    2. it also contains tons of gameplay glitches that marres the overall experience and makes your character look like kind of a goof, such as randomly missing ledges and not being able to move at times despite nothing blocking the way. These bugs are extremely common, with only mere minutes of gameplay separating them.
    3. The demands of some of the optional side quests with relation to the bugginess of the game. Let me make this clear: I have no problem with extremely demanding challenges. However, it is one thing if you fail because you were not "gud" enough, but it is an entirely different story when your success or failure is completely non-deterministic due to the inherent flaws with the game's engine. It is really disheartening to see all your hard work undone because the game decided to change the rules with an unfair glitch such as a guard randomly stopping in his tracks, preventing you from moving, or if you are required to perform a scripted assassination, except the game bugs out and does not allow you to assassinate them. Many times I would have to restart the memory before the game-breaking bug would go away. Couple that with some truly sadistic optional goals (which would have been fine if the game was not a glitchy mess), and you truly have a recipe for pure rage fuel.

All in all. I truly enjoyed my experience. I just wish the did a better job at polishing the amazing array of bugs that come out of nowhere and really mess up with the experience of an otherwise wonderful game.

The game, as AC III, is great and funny. But the remaster is really poor. Yes, is 4K now and runs on PS4 Pro, but still have bugs and the FPS rating crash sometimes. It could have been done much better. Also, is it necessary to remaster all editions of Assassin's Creed?

    Likes:
    - How they have historical characters in the game as it makes the game a little more interesting.
    - The idea of the rope dart as there are a couple of creative ways to use it.
    - The era the game was set in and to a certain extent i like the environment more than Syndicates.
    - For the most part it plays like an AC game would.

    Dislikes:
    - I HATE how you cannot crouch in this game. It really takes the stealth approach away and it makes no sense why the developers could not put it in the game. While playing Haytham and Connor it just feels weird and stupid just walking up behind an enemy and killing them whereas if they were in crouch mode it would look and execute like a stealth game would. Another thing is that i would be in a fort or in enemy territory and since i can't crouch i would just walk around trying to avoid enemy detection and trying to find the nearest spot i could hide. WHO THE HELL IS GOING TO WALK AROUND IN THESE TYPES OF AREAS KNOWING THAT THERE ARE ENEMIES ALL AROUND YOU!!! A NORMAL PERSON WOULD CROUCH AND TRY TO BE UNDECTED!!! IT'S JUST MIND BOTTLING!!
    - I did not like eavesdropping at all as it just felt tedious and it's just one of those chores you avoid/hate doing and i am really glad they got rid of it in the later titles.
    - The fast travel points were few and far between and i did not like how you had to fast travel multiple times just to get to a main mission. It started to become very tedious. It would've been nice if the viewpoints you synchronized throughout the game could be unlocked as fast travel locations as it would've made going to locations A LOT EASIER.
    - Heavy weapon animations look awkward and slow so i just used an axe throughout the game.
    - What is with the glaring eyes on the characters in this game? It just looked awkward and out of place.
    - There are some horse handling issues in this game.
    - There are also some bugs in this game.
    - The world felt stale and boring at times.

    Misc:
    - Connor is my least favorite assassin. I would rather have Jacob Frye than this guy. I felt like they could've portrayed him as a different type of character.
    - Combat is a little awkward and sometimes a structure would get in your way as you were fighting which got annoying, but was bearable nonetheless.
    - I wish you could manually save because sometimes when you would die you would go further back than you would like.
    - The story was nothing special, but it wasn't horrible by any means.

I would rather play Black Flag, Origins or Odyssey than this game, but that is not to say that this game was horrible it was just different and i still think it's a good game, but it does not at all come close to competing with those three games.

    · Cosas malas: tiene defectos de desarrollo que ya tenía el de PS3, las caras de los personajes son terribles y Connor ni se le acerca a Ezio.

    Cons
    - one of the worst feeling stealth systems in the series
    - Connor is a slow burn protagonist that gets interesting like three sequences before the game ends
    - this is the game that took the modern storyline into a back alley, shanked it and let it to bleed out

ACIII is probably one of the more controversial entries into the franchise, in regards to what it has done to the story. But let us start with the good things.

The combat feels fantastic. It is fast and responsive plus it is helped by Connors animations being some of the most brutal the series ever had. The enemy variety… all right, the three enemy types allow for a more fun version of the previous combat systems the series had, still allowing you to slaughter groups through a series of fast chained kills. Though now you need to press a single extra button to break the guard of the tougher enemies.

The frontier is beautiful and fun to navigate through the ''natural'' convenient system of tree branches. The fact that it also changes with the seasons is also fantastic. Parkour getting overhauled where you can now perform quick vaults over low barriers also helps to make the game feel more fun.

What is not fun though, is trying to pull off anything in stealth. ACIII was clearly designed to be a combat game. Nowhere else is it more obvious than during Act 7: Mission 3: Conflict Looms. For optional objectives you have to remain undetected on ships cramped with enemies and you also have to air assassinate a grenadier. If you ignore these and just fight everybody, this is a five minute mission. If you are going for the 100%... goooooood luck not getting frustrated to the maximum.

This is also the game that ended the modern story with Desmond Miles. By getting rid of him in the end, Ubisoft ended five games of foreshadowing on one of their messiest fumbles ever. Every game that followed had nothing to add to the modern day storyline which is hilarious, as Desmond was clearly being set up to take the reins of a game set in modern times, gaining skills via the Bleeding Effect.

ACIII, a game that tried a lot of things, but ultimately fell a little flat. Still worth playing but other than that, kinda meh.

I think AC3 gets a lot of heat for not rising to the greatness of the Ezio trilogy. It's not as good as the Ezio trilogy, which would easily get a 9/10 from me, if not a perfect score. I played the original AC3 back when it came out on the XBOX360 and didn't get too into it. But I gave the remastered version a chance and I do not regret it. In addition to better graphics, the game seems to run smoother and quicker on better systems. I understand that it isn't for everyone, but I personally feel it is worth the play through if you are interested in the Assassin's Creed storyline. For better or worse, Assassin's Creed III Remastered introduces the polarising Connor Kenway to current generation consoles. Aside from some impressive graphical reworking, it is in many ways a simple port: bugs and issues with the original remain largely the same outside of some much-appreciated quality of life improvements and a handful of minor tweaks. Those who enjoyed the original, as well as Assassin's Creed fans who haven't yet played it, will likely appreciate this remaster for what it is, as long as nothing revolutionary is expected of it.

Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered is a collection that comes packed with a heap of visual improvements and gameplay tweaks, yet maintains all the things that divided players back with the original release. There are still problems around, but it is a collection that transforms the experience to the modern-day standards and keeps us reminiscing the days when the series had much more promise.

Assassin's Creed III Remastered is a mixed bag. It's repetitive combat and lackluster visuals, strung through with a few bright spots of naval combat and exploration, and unique displays of combat. Narratively, the game is as weak as they come. There's no mystery. Just an obligatory plot to finish the fight between the Assassins and Templars. Not to mention the mumbo jumbo with the First Civilization. The game is frustrating and not worth another look.
