    MW3 was clearly a 60 dollar mappack to MW2 and it borrowed heavily from Black Ops. It's great in it's own right- the fact that people would annually dish out 60 dollars for the same rehashed game, and, all in all, it is good, basic, arcade fun. It will sell over 10 million.     This game would be a lot of fun for someone who's never played the series before, but if you've played MW2, it's simply not worth 60 dollars for a simple mappack/patch. Zero for low value and obvious greed on the publisher's part.

    this game just got old. nothing new just a expansion new weapons. Bf3 is way better. I broke my **** of doody disk. This game is not even that fun, its the same as black ops and mw2, i expected new engine and new weapons. but it only had new weapons but not as many, A lot of the weapons were recycled from Cod4, MW2, and Black ops. So don't get this game its terrible

    Terrible, I've been buying the same game since MW1! I'm getting a refund. Too much hype, dated graphics, forgettable story and gameplay. This is not worth your time, Do yourselves a favor and get battlefield 3 on PC instead.

IW just depend on their fan base of mindless consumers to snap up every title with the "Call of Duty" prefix. Story is fairly bad, run, shoot tons of guys, get extradited. Nothing too special.     It's a shame this game could have been so much better. I've loved the COD games and have been a big fan. I feel like this game is the same ole stuff. They didn't raise the bar in my opinion. Battlefield 3 did raise the bar significantly and i will be playing that from now on. Most of the old staff wasn't even involved in making this new game. All the hype and then this, wow.     Damn this game sucks.. It's like you're playing cod4 lol!.. Every year a new COD but they are always 100% the same.. Same old engine.. What did they change? Add some perks? wow great.. It's like they released a big map pack.. They should go build a new engine, and make a NEW game..

    Totaly garbage.BF3 is much better . i doesn't change virtually anything, the graphics are the same, the game play is the same, most weapons are the same

    Same thing like Modern Warfare 2. I am getting sick and tired of the Modern Warfare series already. Little improvement is done to make the game better. If you played MW2 before, you are not missing anything much.

    Absolutely terrible. It's just a moneymaking attempt, churning out the same game every year. Not having ranked dedicated servers is absurd; you're forced into more laggy p2p play where the host is favoured

My nephew is 15 and bought Elite with his own money, on XBL with his own account, and AFTER he paid, it told him he was too young to use this service......WHAT THE HELL. Any one with 2 braincells can see that it should be the other way around. i.e. A kid tries to pay for Elite, and an error message pops up saying "cannot accept payment due to account being under-age".     same game for the 5th time this gen... until they make new engine new mechanics new everything it won't be worth **** worst part is they will milk you even more with their monthly map packs that suck anyway.. this is not the same IW i knew 5 years ago.. also all the high review scores were paid off.. nothing new here move on

    I gave this the benefit of the doubt and bought it in hopes that it would be better, but no, in fact, instead of being the same game over and over, they're getting worse. It's truly a horrible installment in a once stellar franchise

    I still cannot understand how people are actually dumb enough to buy the exact same game every year again. Even error messages of MW3 are talking about MW2, that's just a perfect example how much they changed. Graphics are dated, the story is a mess and gameplay hasn't changed or improved at all. Don't buy into the hype.

    The campaign was short. Its story was so generic that even a retarded child can make it. The graphics is worse than CoD4. The sounds are just recycled junk from old CoD all guns sounds like a toy gun. Its streak system become from worst to worstser(i know there's no such word). To make it simple. This game is a joke. Its a CoD4 DLC.. And Cod4 is much better. Save your money and buy other games.

    A game we've already seen. This is just a rehashed MW2. Enjoy buying your MW2 maps again and again. It's really saddening to see companies like this releasing the same game over and over again, with almost nothing new. Same graphics, same sounds, same gameplay. Maybe it's time to try doing something new?

    Modern Warfare 3 is the exact same game with a different name, terrible Campaign that you finish in 3 and half hours, with the most irregular irritating little maps that you literally spawn on your enemy's shoulders. The lack of vehicle's and broken class system creates a very very dry and plain experience. The visuals are still comparable to my PlayStation 2, voice acting and sound ofModern Warfare 3 is the exact same game with a different name, terrible Campaign that you finish in 3 and half hours, with the most irregular irritating little maps that you literally spawn on your enemy's shoulders.     A miserable game like none other. Worst fps game I've ever seen in my entire life!
    Green oxidized copper all over the screen. Everything is green with the miserable post fx!
    The previous games in the series were miserable but this one is reaching new lows.
    Bf3 is 10000 times better than mw3! Do NOT BUY. I repeat DO NOT EVEN GET CLOSE TO IT!

Did they bother to develop new one? No. Since that time nothing changed. Same animations of characters, weapons and look of maps. They are trying to blind us through doing stuff like replacing zombies with 2 player co-op, new game mode and few new weapons model, but that's all. If you are going to get that game prepare for disappointment. Activision managed to sink all the way to the bottom of the sea one of the best FPS series in history of video games - Well done! From the king to the street beggar. I think it's time for CoD to retire for couple of years and come up with something new. Single player - stopping WW3 sounds great, you have the same characters (that didn't die) from previous version of MW. Map design is simple - get from point A to point B. Don't worry you won't get lost on the way. Guess why... CoD1 offered several different paths to reach objective and that's what should be restored! I don't care about fancy explosions!

    Multiplayer - its just map pack for MW2.

    Conclusion? Get different game because this one is worth only half of it's current price...    … Expand

    This game really feels like MW1.5 as there is absolutely nothing new. Graphics are more than 4 years old. Same old boring, predictable story. Multiplayer is exactly the same with new maps. This game could have been a $15 DLC, and even that would be a rip off.

    If you guys want a good, quality game, check out The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. There's a game that the developers actually put time into making, about 3 years. Not like each COD game taking less than a year to make, no wonder their quality is so terrible. It's sad that such a piece of junk like MW1.5 can sell millions and even more than games that outclass it like Skyrim. There are just too many mindless, stupid fanboys who enjoy shooting each other with new maps paying a $60 fee every year to do so.

    Overall, this game couldn't even last me 2 days as once Skyrim came out I dumped this piece of crap. Hopefully, the COD series dies with this game or they totally reinvent it because it's only going to get worse from here.    … Expand

    Blame the greedy publishers for trying to cut corners and not keep promises, they fired the core group of talented developers thinking they could just reinvent with cheaper labor and this is what you get, a game with little imagination, awful multiplayer maps, no flow and nothing original.

    This game is a rehash and its pretty much solidifying the fact that gaming is dying. Every year expect more and more of these things to come out, receive inflated scores by paid off reviewers, and for them to break all sorts of retail records. COD is the new Madden of our time, only difference is it changes even less between installments.

    I kind of expected the same game over and over with guitar hero. However with a shooter I didn't expect the same game copy/pasted with a 60$ price tag. However that's what I bought, thinking critic reviews actually meant something. Save your money, this is just Activision cashing out at the expense of their player base.

    I dont know what it is. But it seems that I have played this game year after year. I always liked the single player. But it sucked on the lengt. It sucked of all the glitches. It looked many time out dated. And there was not a good story in there. Multiplayer is just like blackops, mw2. mw1 with some improvements. But not as much good of a spec ops mode ass mw2. it did nor live up to the hype.

    There's a tangible insistence from gamers that this series needs to evolve, but it seems unwarranted when it still leads the FPS class. The engine's definitely in need of an overhaul, but when it comes to thumping set-pieces and addictive multiplayer design, Modern Warfare 3 is still in a league of its own.
