    Unbelieveable.

    Single player wise, game gets shorter and loses it's epic feeling almost completely in this installment. Modern Warfare 3 is the worst of all three. I did not liked the idea of flashbacks in Black Ops but even it was better to play! Back in multiplayer. It is just a new map pack to MW2, oh no, MW2 is way better than MW3. I'll stick with CoD4 for a while more. It is the    Unbelieveable.

    It's not that the game is bad,just same old....everything....I felt like black ops at least had some small improvements, but this is a big step backwards....too many better games the year to worry about MW3...too bad I already bought it, should have read Metacritic reader reviews first...     Re-Hashed and regurgetated mw2

    Ran through the story line in 1 hr and 25 minutes.

    Online already hacked, full of cheaters.

    Not worth the 65 bucks.

    this game is the EXACT same as mw2 and there are even recycled buildings. no effort has been put into this game at all its just a cut and paste version of mw2 they keep pumping out games every year and dont even bother to make it good because people will buy it anyways

    Worst Call of Duty to date. Same exact game if compared to Modern Warfare 2. This could have been DLC for MW2. It's really sad how a developer can call this a new game just to make money off people.

    payed 60 dollars for a copy and paste game with a new addition to spec ops mode called "survival".... not worth the money. IGN gives it a 9 when it doesn't deserve a 5 score.

    Disappointing end to the series.

    Campaign is not worthy of the Modern Warfare series, Modern Warfare 2 and COD4 had much better campaigns.

    Maybe next time, Activision.

However, this was made even worse when they added the glow effect in Modern Warfare 2 which made everything look like it was covered in an oddly rigid water. Do not buy. Let the poor guy die.     Cant believe I spent 60$ for a MW2 map pack. By far the worst game of the 2011 line up. I advise you to stay away from this game. Do yourself a favor and buy BF3, Skyrim or Uncharted 3. Those are games that developers actually took their time on unlike this rerun. Makes you think what did they really work on in the last 2 years because I see nothing new besides a new lame game mode.

THe campaign, as always, is very linear, not giving you choices on how to complete the level...you go from checkpoint to checkpoint...multiplayer still suffers from connection issues, and no its not the internet....with yearly releases, you'd think by now activision would give us dedicated servers. i own 3 CoD games, CoD4, MW2, and BO...until i see vast improvement, i wont be buying another CoD game ever again. i do give activision credit though, they almost got me again....Save yourself the 60 bucks, and pass on this game..especially with so many other good games out there like Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Saints Row 3, and Arkham City. The developers for these games actually put effort and time, unlike activision, IW, and Treyarch, where they just reuse and recycle the same crap every year.… Expand

Graphics are dated, I have seen better, sounds are just pathetic and don't get me started on the horrible campaing mode. Save your cash if you already have Cod 4, you will not miss out on anything.

    don't buy this game trust me and if u don't then u will pay 60$ for nothing just like i did.this game is garbage.there are better game available there go pick them and for mp battlefield 3 is the best game i ever played.cod 4 was amazing it changed fps genre but after that what they just did was just copy and paste the same game every year.activevision **** up everything u suckkkkk.

    This.. AGAIN... Seriously again... i waited in line for MW2, only to find it was a rehashed slightly updated version of MW1... Which is fine, it was fun. Now i dislike BF games just as much, however i must say at least when i went out and got Bad company 2... i was compelled to get it on two damn platforms just so i could play it everywhere i went.     When I started playing FIRST PERSON SHOOTERS, I began with HALO. When COD MW:1 came out, I was hooked with the series until Black Ops. Then I was introduced to Battlefield BadCompany 2, which is when I said screw COD. I could not wait for Battlefield 3...but then a few weeks before it came out, I began remembering my days with COD...the glory days. I almost got excited for MW3.     I thought I would give the CoD series one last chance to prove itself. Unfortunately though it has failed to impress me yet again. Its just the same unimaginative, rebranded waste of £40 we seem to be paying an ever increasing amount for. Its such a shame when you look back to CoD's origins and see a genuinely new and exciting game in CoD 1 and 2, but they are just flogging aI thought I would give the CoD series one last chance to prove itself.     i brought this game and broke it .. didnt even return it .. infinity ward LISTEN fix your game . im tired of playing the same game every year ... you guys are stupid to think that this game is better than battlefield 3 .. you guys should go out of business

For $15 you got 5 maps. I think the hate only got worse when people realized that they made a new Call of Duty Game every year and it didn't change much.     Game is absolute garbage. The campaign just felt absolutely forced and was completely forgettable by the end of it. Spec Ops is trash because zombies in WaW and Black Ops was just so much better. Not to mention you were able to play it with upto 3 other people that you know! Where's the fun in fighting endless enemies with only one other person? There is no fun in that.     Obvious this game was not in development for two years. Activision has repackaged MW2 with a new map pack and completely duped there customers into paying a full game price. Sorry but this is the last time I will be buying a COD game. I was upset with all the bugs in the release of BF3 but at least those guys are moving forward and being innovative.     An overpriced content pack masquerading as a full fledged release. The dev teams involved although did do their best to deliver a functional game with new content despite the massive IW split, outside of this commendable merit this game warrants none.

    The game is buggy, and boring. And paying greater than full game price for a map-pack of MW1 is a scam. I feel scammed for buying it. The graphics were good.... if this was 2003. The sounds were sub-par, the game play is the same, with no variaton...... It's basically COD Modern mappack 3.

    This is exactly the same if not worse then the original MW. Zero to little innovation and creativeness has gone into this rehashed version of MW 1.1. Glad I rented and didn't fork out the £45 quid for this abomination of gaming. Avoid like the plague.

    There's a tangible insistence from gamers that this series needs to evolve, but it seems unwarranted when it still leads the FPS class. The engine's definitely in need of an overhaul, but when it comes to thumping set-pieces and addictive multiplayer design, Modern Warfare 3 is still in a league of its own.
