    two many glitches returning from MW2, reused sound effects for new and old kill streaks, i thought this was supposed to be an improvement, but i was wrong, great job sledgehammer games, you killed the call of duty series

    First off it feels and looks identical to MW2 so they didn't spend that much time with tweeking the old engine. Then once you go online and realize that if you want to kill someone you better use the whole clip. The lag in the game is killing the game just look at the number of people who have dropped the game because of the lag.     Please don't waste you time on this game. It has so many flaws with the game play. Unless you enjoy playing against bots I suggest you find a different game that has had all the bugs worked out.
    It is impossible to play missions with a friend like advertised. I will be buying battlefield and throwing this junk game away.

    Remember when developers used to make sequels that added something new? Neither does Actiblizzard. I'd like to say this is the third time this game has come out- but considering black ops doesn't add anything new I'm starting to lose track of the number of times this exact game has been released.     Oh, but nobody gets CoD for the campaign, it's for the pvp! Yes- true enough, and guess what- MW1 still did it better. I have to give them props though- they've found an amazing way to milk suckers out of their money with zero effort; and look at how games everywhere are becoming crap as they try to emulate this money for nothing style of developing.

Just about everything is terrible about this game but the worst part is the maps. It's very hard to do well because from the moment you spawn there's an enemy gun up your ass. Very maddening.     Tired game , Tired engine, Same crap gets put out every single year for four years and people flock to toss their cash away, sad really sad. I have played it it IS THE SAME AS MW2. why would you buy it again ?? Activision is laughing all the way to the bank! This is pathetic and should have been released as an expansion pack nothing more!

    As a stand alone game, this is brilliant. Just the same as all of the other Call of Duty games of this generation. However that is also its problem. I would pay £10 for this game and not feel ripped off, but the £45 they are charging is ridiculous for regurgitated material

    Exactly the srame as the others, nothing new for my hard earned money. Boring on all fronts, in fact just rushed through it in 6 hours with no sound as I could not turn the in game music off!!!! WTF. NEVER BUY A COD AGAIN... back to skyrim clicking 150 hours of game play so far value for money....

    I played the game and the campaign was decent. But that was the only decent 3 hours of the game. Just go play Shivering Isles that was great DLC. But this expansion pack is sloppily executed, poorly written and is rife with kids screaming at you. Not fun.

    Having spent enough time playing this game, I can say keep your money. IW overcompensated it's lag compensation system thereby penalizing players with good to decent internet connections. I've gone back and started playing World at Wat again because this game is so bad. I should have waited to have gotten this used.     I was so hyped-up for this game at the beginning and could only play it for about a week or two then I just had to go back and return it so I could buy some other game that wouldn't disappoint me so much.

    It is just horrible of activision to release this game because the developers would have needed more time to make this. The game is mostly copy-pasted from Modern Warfare 2 and i feel that the developers had some new ideas but with the lack of time they only implemented a few. i was saddened that this game sold so much and still it is essentially just Modern Warfare 2 with a fresh coat of paint.

    This game is a carbon copy of every other FPS out there. It has a TERRIBLE storyline on the campaign, multiplayer is (in my experience) full of douchebags, and this is exactly like MW1 and 2. there is absolutely nothing different. If you want a good FPS, buy Unreal Tournament, or one of the battlefields.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. - Activision gave us a real online **** For a lot of people this game is unplayble because of a huge latence (you die instantly when ennemy apears, and when u see watch killcam the ennemy saw you one second more than you -,- (I have not these problems on previous mw and I use Ethernet)) - The support killstreak is only play with 3 agressive killstreak, its not support, each game u have 5 furtive bombardment, 4 iem...
    - MW3 = Rework MW2
    - If its not too late dont buy it, stay with mw1 or mw2    … Expand

    This game is by far the worst game that Call of Duty has created. Infinity Ward should be ashamed by how this game came out. Game play has not changed since CoD 4 and the campaign did not live up to expectations in the slightest. In my opinion Infinity Ward should take every copy of this game to a skeeter shooting range and take a few hours to put a shotgun shell into every copy.

    modern warfare 3 was a HUGE letdown. Modern warfare 3 is basically an overpriced, over hyped modern warfare 2.5. Sniping is useless unless you quickscope because the spawning system will spawn people right on top of you. The spawning system is stupid to the point that ive been spawned in the middle of a gunfight and spawned in front of someone.

    how do i BEGIN to describe how horrible it is. ugh. this game was a waste of my money, it's got a horrible survival mode,horrible split screen and horrible campaign, not to mention how many weapons they TOOK AWAY. What the **** were they thinking? do NOT buy this game, unless you're looking to waste money.

    This game is just unplayable. It's basically a DLC for MW2 that costs $60. The maps, guns, killstreaks are all just terrible, everyone camps online just to get killstreaks. Nobody plays the objective and every gun has Instakill built in, it's just so stupid. Black ops is much better, MW3 belongs in the trash.

    There's a tangible insistence from gamers that this series needs to evolve, but it seems unwarranted when it still leads the FPS class. The engine's definitely in need of an overhaul, but when it comes to thumping set-pieces and addictive multiplayer design, Modern Warfare 3 is still in a league of its own.
