    Well. This is not a good remake, honestly. Some models look great, most don't. Its not that they are not high quality, its just that they don't hold the Warcraft charm and style and look like Heroes of the Storm. Generally, the game looks like these anime custom maps - out of place. Terrain definitely looks nice, but it can't compensate for everything. The units are harder to identify,Well. This is not a good remake, honestly. Some models look great, most don't. Generally, the game looks like these anime custom maps - out of place. Terrain definitely looks nice, but it can't compensate for everything. The units are harder to identify, both which unit it is and which player they belong to. I have requested a refund.

    All of the above would be palatable if not for the following things :
    1. The menu is extremely choppy, on 60fps. The classic menu was not that smooth in its transitions, but this one is somehow even worse.
    2. The UI is different and I am not sure if it is for the better. Looks a bit disorienting in custom game lobbies. The custom games browser is better visually at least, not sure if it is functionally. It looks more like a funny casual mobile game's UI, rather than a Warcraft UI. Its not horrible, but could be better.
    3. The biggest downside : Unit movement animations are 30fps even when the game runs at 60. It legit looks like lag. Its terrible and its an eyesore. It is virtually unplayable.
    4. Bugs? I started the main campaign to check it out and when i immediately saw the 3. issue, i quit the mission. I tried a custom game - same. Then I tried switching to classic mode and started the campaign again and guess what - the campaign would not even start. It loaded and then it presented me with a Defeat screen.
    5. No LAN and no custom games filters? Come on. I mean. Come on.

    Realistically, i would set this at a score of 3. I am setting it as 0 because i would NOT recommend it to anyone and because i want to lower the average score.    … Expand

    What a mess....Blizzard greed ruined you forever! This game has: bugs, lagg, bad coding with no compression, missing features, bad graphics etc. Refund if you bought the game, skip this crap if you didn't.

В компании зависания которые не понятно почему происходят fps от 60 до 10 падает даже в меню игры. Хотя там обьектов вообще нету. Кастомки теперь нельзя делать свои. Какого фига я не могу поиграть теперь в DBZ карты или Bleach vs Onepiece. Так же невозможность сменить на старуюКак фанату warcraft 3. Я очень ждал эту игру.     i was really excited about this new warcraft, hope they improved all the bad thing w3tft had.
    Instead what we got?

    - No new UI
    - No new cutscenes (even the blizzcom one was removed)
    - Lots of old features missing

    this is a complete dissaster

    Expected great revision of popular fantasy RTS franchise ends up bland outsourced project lacking additional features promised in advertisements and presentation. Warcraft III Reforged plays it too safe resembling too much same product with reskinned graphics. Lacking soul and originality.

    Nothing works, I run it on a 2080 Ti and I still get 20 fps in places. WC3 was my favourite game ever before Reforged came along, now I literally feel horrible for having spent any money on it.     Complete skinning of the game. Nothing is remastered or reforged here. The fact that the buyers of Wc3 classic were forced into this garbage remaster (And we do have the remaster, we are just stuck out of getting new graphics), is inexcusable. People who bought this garbage product were scammed, because you could have just got WC3 for vastly cheaper and got the "Remaster" with exceptionComplete skinning of the game. Nothing is remastered or reforged here.     Lastly, the blatant corporate greed behind sabotaging the custom games scene is disgusting. The custom games scene that sparked an entire new genre that blizzard couldn't stick their dicks into really made them mad. So now, they can sue anyone for any content they make, and declare that they flat out own it, leaving the modders in the dust with no compensation or even credit.     Blizzard released a remaster (reforge) by everyone's favorite game and they f***ed up with the development. (bugs, lags, horrible graphics for 2020 (Starctaft 2 Wings of Liberty looks better)
    What a dissapointment.

    while the models are great. The controversy surrounding this game is well deserved. My biggest complain is the lack of new campaigns and the lack of "reforged" cinematics. I almost feel like I got my money stolen. Hope is not too late to refund.

    Game play was laggy, buggy, logged me out a few times. Frame rate during game play was bad, slow and unnatural character movement, my archers moved like a robot. UI was horrendous, chat channels, clans, profiles are all ruined. Everything was horrendous, missing features.     Game over all feels like a scam, likes of which are commonly seen on steam. Where a developer/publisher releases and early-access game with promises of great future, with new and promised features and fixes to all the problems in the world. When in reality you are lucky to have AN update after which the developer/publisher will state that the game is released and no future content is planed for the game.
    Yet saying all of that I would conclude that Steam is still better due to the fact that it will let you get a refund on fair terms and will not lie to you about it.

    Ten minuses and a single plus.

    How to kill the perfect game... Create the same one with better graphics, but make it unplayable, destroy good old features, make creators of the custom maps lose their right of ownership to said maps and destroy online gameplay in the old one, so that players can no longer enjoy it... So yeah.... I wish reforged was never made....

But to make an existing product much, much worse than it was? How could that ever earn a 1?

    I can't believe the lack of quality that went into this.

    Even worse, the lack of features. It's basically just a reskin. It really seems blizzard has lost their touch with actual gamers, and the bean counters have truly taken over. I've asked for my money back. RIP to the #1 game I played through my childhood.

    Not the game they promised. They "sold" us a remade and updated game in 2018 and now they released just a reskin with pretty much nothing changed and tons of bugs. In addition, they wiped out the old Warcraft 3 content from the servers. This game is a scam that deserves to be refunded.

    Absolute Garbage... This is a cash grab. Don't buy this. Doesn't have the Blizzard polish. This stinks of Activision. Both cutscenes and in-game graphics are **** and not the same fidelity as advertised.

    The only thing this game improved on are the graphics, and that alone is somewhat of an overstatement. Warcraft 3 Reforged is a joke of a remaster riddled with bugs and unkept promises.

    Reforged is perhaps the biggest cashgrab of recent years, coming from a company with shady practices as of recent time. Not only does it not improve the base game, but it fundamentally breaks it so much, that any future updates are a far and away dream.

With Starcraft Remastered, Blizzard showed some dedication and made the entire game free-to-play and 1080p-viable, while charging only a slight amount for the privilege to have a completely overhauled experience. Nothing about the game seemed to slog, but with Warcraft III: Reforged, the exact opposite is true.

    THIS IS NOW THE ONLY LEGITIMATE WAY TO PLAY WARCRAFT III. What used to be a $10 purchase on Blizzard's own site, for Classic Games, is now $30, take it or leave it. With it, you can expect the following features:
    - Enhanced portraits, models, and textures
    - Battle.net compatibility (never mind the fact that WCIII was Battle.net compatible back when it launched in 2002)
    - Matchmaking
    - A 2-second delay on ALL voice lines, as though a courier was running to you with a tape recorder with a recent message from Arthas Menethil, and when you play it it says "I'm here to help". You tell what the courier to do, he runs back, and comes back with the same tape recorder, and this time he says "A sound plan".
    - The ability to pour your heart and soul into making a custom map / game mode in Warcraft III's innovative map editor (or rather, use the one that was bundled with the game in 2002), have Blizzard steal the intellectual rights out from under your nose with their innovative terms of service, and then ban your account because your map / game mode broke their rules somehow, or upset one of four very irritable nations and Papa Blizzard still wants that dank cash flow for their insatiable investors. You are now out $30.

    THIS IS A LEGITIMATE TURN OF EVENTS THAT BLIZZARD IS WITHIN THEIR RIGHTS TO DO, BECAUSE THEY SET WHAT THEY ARE WITHIN THEIR RIGHTS TO DO.

    This is the only way to play this game now. As of writing this, Warcraft III: Reforged has a 1.1 / 10. Compare this to Fallout 76's 2.7/10. As a prior Blizzard fan, I can only weep. (I can't request a refund because everyone who has tried to help has been banned.)    … Expand

    They just killed a classic. I enjoyed it at first cause I was really excited about the Campaign. But then I started to see all the lies, the poor campaign ai even on hard, the horrible way the loading screens worked, the menu, that thing works horibile. I'll still play it since I am one of the few people who's game doesn't crash, but all in all, they just killed Warcraft 3.

    I have played wc3 classic for 16 years since i didn't get bored because of the custom games created by the community, stripping the rights of the creators is just showing the finger to the most dedicated player base that has for more or less allowed the game to survive for so long.     I wish I could have something nice to write. However I can’t. This game has fallen short of every Mark it has said it would hit. It’s awful and has less than the original game. Blizzard really needs to take a hard look in the mirror. A company known for quality is now known for its poor releases.

ХЗ) или вот прошёл пред последнюю миссию за людей загружается последняя миссия нажимаю кнопку чтоб начать миссию , что вы думаете произошло? мне написали миссия провалена ( я ее начать толком то не успел как я ее провалить успел?). А ещё вспомнил вот ,что ну думаю ладно поиграю в классическую версию со старым интерфейсом но вот проблема классического варкрафта 3 у меня почему то нету не могу запустить когда нажимаю на ярлык старой версии игры мне открывает бателнет с варкрафт 3 рефордж.
    Короче я сделал для себя вывод луче бы не было этого рефорджа теперь и в классическую версию не сыграть по нормальному( старую версию игры) и мне грустно видеть во ,что скатилась игры из-за какого то ремастера    … Expand

    I never right reviews however I’m am so deeply disappointed with this game I can’t even explain was checking updates everyday. The cut scenes are exactly the same basically no wow factor at all buggy basically a 4K reskin which is unfinished defo not a reimagined upgrade

    Right, so, this is awful. They just decided to reach into your files and delete your classic install and anything you might have on there. They didn’t upgrade anything except the texture, which look like plasticy models, they broke all their promises that this wouldn’t be just a remaster, but a reforge, when it fact it’s a retexture and would more accurately be named the definitiveRight, so, this is awful.     Activision is here, blizzard is death. I miss Bill Roper and the old team. The love for games is gone. Please Blizzard sell the license for Diablo to Runic Games. Don't damage my favorite pc game. Diablo 3 was the wrong way and you kill Diablo completely with 4 and never touch a old game to make a remake. You can't do it. Shame on you.

    Never been so disappointed with a game ever, i used to like blizzard games, but this was the last straw. Worst thing is they now will steal IP from people who make custom maps. Thats just so bad i don't have words. I've asked for a refund. Only buy this game if you're forced at gunpoint.

Its editor helped me get into programming and I have created a lot of maps with it. Now it feels like Blizzard backstabbed us all. Instead of a Thriumphant Remaster we got a Mediocre Unplayable HollowStupid remaster that broke a lot and fixed nothing. Models are ok, but unfinished and the worst part is I can no longer go back to the original game. Warcraft III is by far my favourite game. Its editor helped me get into programming and I have created a lot of maps with it. Now it feels like Blizzard backstabbed us all. Instead of a Thriumphant Remaster we got a Mediocre Unplayable Hollow game and Lost the original, one of the best RTS games of all times.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.
