    Blizzard is one of the worst companies in the market. Denying refunds, releasing **** updates with the solo purpose of milking more money fro players. The blizzard we once loved is now gone. It's now just a new EA. I hope it loses as much relevance as possible.

    Viel versprochen, aber nichts eingehalten. Sogar der Grafik overhaul wirkt altbacken.
    UI ist noch die alte und die tollen neuen Cutscenes gibt es auch nicht.
    Dazu immer wieder unerklärliche Ruckler bzw. Frame Drops. Teils

    Glad I quit WoW with BFA. Glad I didn't pre-order this dumpster fire. Will not invest any faith your company can produce another reasonably good    Absolute garbage.     First post on Metacritic just for this game. I've been playing WC3 since my middle school and loving this series. I pre-ordered Reforged and hope to find some good memories of my childhood. However, the low performance, bugs, poor UI, ect. indeed ruined the name of "Warcraft" and destroyed the only remaining good memories.

The biggest kicks in the gut to me were the removal of custom campaigns, and WC3 Classic being dragged into this mess. I bought RoC and TFT years ago, they are on my account and paid for, but I cannot play them without downloading a useless 30GB "upgrade"

    Absolutely ruined. Activision has killed Blizzard and is masquerading around in its skin. My disappointment is so immense that I sacrificed my meat wagon mount (the only good thing to come from this steaming pile of garbage) and got a refund. Screw you actiblizsion. You've ruined one of my favourite games -- not even a misnomer, as the Classic version has been lumped into the launcher.    … Expand

Именно лагает. Мое ФПС местами падает до 5. Это ладно! Частый вылет с ошибкой, ни один перезапуск не помогает. Поиграл после в FHD без лагов, но постоянные вылеты, краши игры, тупая анимация и вот я дохожу до ролика, который показывали на близкконе и говорили, что ролики будут новые -) И что думаете?     Just a basic reskin but even the models are animated like its 2003, nothing really fits well and no ranked and less custom games. Buggy game, no subtitles with wide screen resolution.

    There's no reason this game should be as lackluster as it is.

    The elements they remade should have been done a lot better.

    The elements they made worse is inexcusable.

    Blizzard has really lost its way.

    I would really recommend watch Bellular News's - DOWNGRADES & LIES: The Blizzard We Loved Is Dying youtube video as they summarized my thoughts exactly.

    Since I was 12 years old, my favourite game of all time has been Wc3 (RoC + FT) and I have dedicated 10,000+ of my life to it, loving every second of it. It was such a perfect game in every way imaginable and shaped my childhood along with millions of others.

    Fast forward to 2018, your ReForged trailer hits YouTube and that 12 year old child in me returns, and I tell all my gamer friends about it, my brothers, everyone that after 16 years the greatest game of all time is coming back and I counted down the days until release (despite all the pushbacks).

    At 29 years old now, all my limited spare time I have was going to be invested in Reforged because that game brought me countless hours of joy in life growing up and even as an adult, it was epic beyond words.

    Me being the loyal fan purchased Reforged immediately, and as soon as Jan.28.2020 hits I schedule a day off of work to join the festivities of "opening-day launch"........only to feel like my heart was ripped from my chest. The game was abysmal in every sense of the word... mechanically broken, crappy UI, crashes, numerous bugs. The game was WORSE than the original released in 2002, WHAT?

    Blizzard, I am only praying that one of your employees comes across this review and realize that I was your most loyal fan.... and after the catastrophe of Reforged and experience the feeling of being scammed, ripped-off and falling victim to this Money-Grab, I have cancelled 3 WoW memberships of mine (mine and 2 of my friends -- *Its been active for 10 years**), I will refuse to buy any further product you produce and until I see a gigantic change internally in your Company, you will NEVER receive one more dollar from me in your lifetime.. And I mean this with all my heart.

    Let this serve as your personal wake-up call, because I am speaking as the voice of millions of fans here. Get your **** together and fast, because a full boycott from one of your most LOYAL fans is in full effect and if you continue to rip off more fans like myself, your company will inevitably sink.

HOWEVER, Blizzard released a game that is missing almost everything that was marketed when they opened preorders. I bought the version with the extra goodies because I had faith in the developer .     Ya me había resignado a que solo iba a ser un remaster con texturas en HD en vez de un verdadero Remake, pero terminé pidiendo reembolso cuando vi que ni siquiera habían mejorado cosas básicas de la interfaz que eran necesarias desde la versión original como asignar hotkeys sin tener que editar un .txt como en el año 2003. My 5120x1440 resolution is too large for this game. WTF?! Its 2020!!! Forcing the resolution super low where its like a mini screen on my monitor is a terrible thing! Many textures are still the original ones! Its so sad!! Blizzard was once the best company, back when Roper and Brevick was in Blizz North and the other guys running the main company at HQ.... the older timers left and so did the meaning of Quality from Blizzard games!!! And lets not get into the BUGS running rampant, HOW?!!? This game was already done, all they had to do was update the graphics/skins and cinematics!!!! So so so so SAD!… Expand

    The actual 17 year old game is better than this reforged abomination. It supports up to 4K resolution and looks freaking great. I've no idea who in a sane mind would go and buy this new thing.

    Also, I have no idea why the hell I should download the WHOLE 30 GB of the new game to get to play my 17 year old beloved Warcraft 3. What the hell, blizzard?

    The game is not working properly. Everything hangs terribly. The network game does not work. It just does not connect to the games, and if it connects, the players fly out. There are no promised new locations and cut scenes. They simply deceived everyone to waste money. I'll never get anything from Blizzard again. Awful.

    2. Нельзя запускать кастомные кампании, а играть кастомки через одиночную игру - нельзя, только игра по сети с ботом без пауз и использования команд. (это не вариант)
    3. Редактор карт практически всегда вылетает. Я как любитель создания кастомных карт ждал что наконец-то завезут нормальный русский перевод самого    1. Обещали полностью переделать всю кампанию под вселенную WoW, отказались.

    The game isn’t completely broken, I’ve still found it to be playable, but there’s so much lost/damaged functionality compared to the classic version (which gets erased and replaced with reforged without warning if you download its latest update).

    There are no longer global custom game lobbies (e.g. if you’re playing on the European server, you can’t connect to a lobby hosted on the NA    The game isn’t completely broken, I’ve still found it to be playable, but there’s so much lost/damaged functionality compared to the classic version (which gets erased and replaced with reforged without warning if you download its latest update).

    There are no longer global custom game lobbies (e.g. if you’re playing on the European server, you can’t connect to a lobby hosted on the NA server). Custom game lobbies can and will crash for no discernible reason. The game is still riddled with desync issues which will drop one or more player(s) from a game with no warning. There are numerous errors with graphics and sounds (some portraits fail to update when swapping between units, discovered areas that are in fog of war are almost entirely blacked out, some sounds play more than once, etc.), as well as general failures with the game’s engine (the game will ignore lots of customizations for maps made with the world editor. Using a custom unit for a metamorphosis spell? You can have the illidan model. Using a custom effect for an immolation spell? You can have the default green cloud and nothing else. etc.). Also, load times in the game and in the world editor have increased drastically.

    A remaster was promised, and what we got was a new coat of paint and then someone running a bulldozer through the code while playing “spin the wheel” on what functionality would get carried over and what wouldn’t.

    Again, the game is still playable, but at what cost?    … Expand

    Что я ждал от Reforged после анонса на близзконе? Пожалуй - тот же warcraft 3, который горячо люблю, но с дополненным лором, улучшенной графикой, новыми CGI роликами, катсценами, которые были в тизере, в конце концов и, конечно же, хорошим мачмейкингом. А что я получил в итоге? В течение пары часов прохождения кампании за альянс меня не покидало чувство, что меня где-то, мягко говоря,Что я ждал от Reforged после анонса на близзконе? Пожалуй - тот же warcraft 3, который горячо люблю, но с дополненным лором, улучшенной графикой, новыми CGI роликами, катсценами, которые были в тизере, в конце концов и, конечно же, хорошим мачмейкингом. А что я получил в итоге? В течение пары часов прохождения кампании за альянс меня не покидало чувство, что меня где-то, мягко говоря, опрокинули, но я ждал, что вот-вот появится что-нибудь эдакое, что резко изменит мое мнение, но нет - это все тот же WC3, только в симпатичной обёртке. Все осталось так же, как и было - вплоть до диалогов, озвученных, к сожалению, тошнотными актёрами, банально зачитывающими свой текст. Даже анимация смерти Кел'Тузада - простая анимация смерти некроманта с замедленной анимацией. В 2к20, Вы серьёзно? 2 года разработки, перенос релиза, что бы выдать заезженный до дыр WC3 с мыльными текстурами новой графики?
    CGI-ролики - отдельная тема. Все, что было сделано - подтянули подо все разрешения мувики 2002 года. За 2 года, Карл! ( а обещали все переснять)
    Матчмейкинг - это что-то невероятное. из 3х игр - 2 краша. Просто и со вкусом. Я бы мог понять, если бы это была инди-разработка (хотя, судя по всему, так и есть), но нет же! на это чудо за 1300/2600₽ ушло 2 года разработки не самой безызвестной компании. И на выходе нам подсунули вот это, клееное за 1 месяц, на коленке, чудо.
    У меня нет слов, что бы полностью описать степень моего разочарования, пожалуй, как и у многих.
    А, и еще один плевок в сторону людей, оформивших предзаказ Spoils of War - сейчас он стоит на 50% дешевле.    … Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
