    Reforged? Nothing but a corporate puke bin. It's a shame that they butchered this masterpiece. Was it so hard Blizzard?     This is not a "remake" but a downgrade. They destroyed a Classic. This would be forgivable if it was done by some indie company, but it's "Blizzard". I'm disappointed. The game disconnects, the graphics and animation are slow, the matchmaking is unbalanced and most players don't even play the classic one. So they will stick with this puke.
    I hope blizzard patches this game, it needs like one year of patching non-stop.    … Expand

    It’s 2020 - can this be considered a remaster ? Only blizzard has the ability to recycle content for 20 years and continue to make money from it, all the while putting a half assed effort into their promises. I fear the current blizzard isn’t what it used to be.

    You don't know how much war3 important to us, even though RTS game are no longer brilliant as before. But now, you extinguished the last flame of all nostalgic player. What a shame!!!
    Hope you can see these real reviews from your real fan, maybe not a fan anymore. I also wonder know what the orignal team who made the old war3 think abot whis REFIRGED version.

    I preordered it over a year in advance because I was so excited, but Blizzard decided to scam their customers. It’s a $30-$40 retexturing mod. That’s it. Not worth any amount of money. Buying this game basically just lets Blizzard know that they can get away with blatantly lying to customers.

    I love Warcraft 3, so I wont ask to refund, but i cant even play in my PC. So I would wait to improve, until then my rating will be 0!!!

    Encountered multiple bugs and error and blizzard have not provide any solutions to date. I.e. "error handling message" which pop out once uninstall the game and I wasnt able to start the game at all.

Ranking was broken, teammates always was dumb and they always leave the game, and i can't report that. The game search was broken. I start to search, game was found, but nothing happend, only i can do it is quitPlaying WC3 since 2002 from ROC. 99% of this time i was play on ladder.     Warcraft III Reskinned, disappointed! I was expecting a reforged version that could revive Warcraft III community, but Activision-Blizzard has built a grave for my favourite game instead. The change of terms for custom games is even worse.

    Warcraft III was the first game I played. I wanted to get back some memory but the new version is too trash. It has many technical errors, and ultimately bad user interfaces. This game is not Warcraft III reforged but Warcraft III Reversed. Thank you Blizzard. You have destroyed your legacy.

    How could a game get worse.. Blizzard REMOVED features from the original to push people into buying Reforged.. my original copy of Warcraft III is now trash.

    Warcraft 3 is a classic. One of the greatest game from it's time , and is still one of the most unique and best RTS games.
    Having a great campaign and filled with character, where just the menu screen makes your feel one with the universe.

    The remastered may haven given the game a better paint job than before,
    but several places it feels rushed. It has a cleaner look, but the price was the heart, and there has been no improvements in areas such as watching replays, looking through data.
    Even enabling ways to watch your fps, ping, apm and mmr, you need to use message commands. Why no toggable option in the option menu?
    When a game gets remasted the goal should be, to enchance the experience, make the game easier to play on current platforms, and generally just make the game match up with the current decade.

    Singleplayer is gone, multiplayer is filled with high ping (average 200, having games above 420 ping). Bugs everywhere. Hard to sometimes to just play the game.

    The core game is still great. Gameplay is great, story is great, if you haven't played the campaign, do yourself the favor of doing it.
    But nearly everything that has been "reforged" has been an downgrade from the orignal with less features than before.

    The current dream is they patch the game to somehow make the game as good as it was in 2003 (Frozen Throne), but Blizzard history with their prior remasted game SC:BW indicates that features shown and promised in the beginning keeps on getting delayed.
    I have no longer any trust in Blizzard, as everything they do seems to do more damage than good. Descriping faults, we can keep going on forever. This is worse than the original. Only good think is a spike of a new playerbase, as I am one of them, and I am currently trying to learn the game. Just sad that game then have so high ping. Queue times are short, but if the price is 400 ping, then I rather not play at all.    … Expand

    I didn't buy Reforged, but they still replaced my old WC3 with it. Instead of 450MB game I have to download like 30GB (x60 times more) of i don't really know what. It's slow on my modern PC. It's using Electron (browser basically) internally, which drains my power and    Blizzard killed WOW for me by placing daily pandas for profits over game itself. Now they did the same with WarCraft 3.

    Not only they released unfinished product, they forcefully killed the one that was just fine! They stipped battle.net from literally everything that was working and added nothing. A game that was working fine is now full of bugs, crashes and freezes. They could have simply enhance graphics and *add* (sic!) changed to improve the UI/UX, not cripple it. Absolutely disgusting

    But what can we do? We will still play it, but i would never imagine that it will be so bad in terms of lagging, bugging, random disconnecting ETC.    Truth is that, for example 4v4 games are unplayable. Every 2 sec micro lag, this happened to me always, when they released a new patch. So i reinstalled it and it was fine, yesterday the new patch came and now i am downloading this game again.

    This was the last time i spent money on blizzard.
    They didnt realise any of the promised features, released with a crazy amount of bugs AND you cant even play the old version the way you could before.
    I really think this has to be on purpose, no company that big can be that incompetent and stupid.

    **** game, forced update. Also hidden in the End user license agreement is a clause that says Blizzard owns everything you make (mods and whatnot). Very greedy indeed.

Фанаты игры сами уже создали и ладдер и другие обещания близард, спустя пол года у нас нет от них ладдера и вообще выкидывания из игры на турнирах из за багов, ужасный пинг наУчаствовал в бета тесте, такого пофигизма и наплевательства от разработчиков я еще не видел, был шанс восславить и поднять на новый уровень, великую игру... но близзард сделала все возможное чтобы убить ее.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Remember, this is a review of Warcraft 3 Reforged, the original had already been reviewed so years ago. I'm considering the new content and their delivery when writing this.
    This game is a steal. Stole my money, stole my time, stole my previous copy of Warcraft 3, and took all my hopes. The initial trailer for the game isn't representative of any cutscenes and the new reworked maps and 4+hours of content still being advertised on their website is a lie. The main menu is an unfinished clunk of work that added on features like slapping pizza slice on the fridge door and expecting me not to notice. I couldn't believe my eyes when I finally managed to run the game for more than an hour (campaign kept crashing) and noticed that nothing had been added. No reworked missions, no reworked dialogue, voice acting, unit storylines, and glitchy units. None of the new content was fully finished as it was advertised.
    When you finally play "The Culling" mission that looked extremely promising, you're introduced to the only reworked mission up to this point WITHOUT the cutscenes in the trailer that made you buy it in the first place. The game difficulty wasn't adjusted properly either so hard mode felt like normal and for a game being released in 2020, I wasn't surprised.

    A true disappointment. Never in a million years would I have allowed such a game to be shipped to my customers. The main issues for me being:

    Models look like they were made by different designers in different offices and the consistency shows. Some just don't match the theme and look totally out of place. I have no evidence of this, but that's my impression.

    The game feels utterly unpolished. One of the first things I did when I started the game was jump into a skirmish against/with bots, and to my surprise, the AI hadn't even been touched. It was also riddled with bugs at release and just.....felt like a rushed game with little commitment or investment.

    Overall, I dare say the original rendition on the game was far superior and the disconnect from the lead designers / decision makers shows that this game was made by accountants rather than people passionate about the game they were making.    … Expand

I couldn't believe my eyes. It's just MENU! Somehow I managed to run a simple scenario. Literally everything was worse than in the original version.     It's pretty bad. It shows how much effort they put into the game. The gameplay is really boring. The storytelling is lazy, what did I pay for? On top of this you can't play the old and beloved warcraft because they swapped it for this crap.

    Blizzard is dead for me :) You won't get a single penny off me.

Custom maps from pre-WC3 Reforged are lost forever, unable to play on the modern client. Bugs still abound the campaign, with triggers not working right and fights breaking all over the place.     Can't download custom games, you have to manually download it.
    Some unit portraits are incredibly terrible.
    No cinematics in campaign
    Queing system bugs out and you can't get out of queue, you need to close the game in order to queue again.

    I don't recommend buying this piece of ****

    My rating is purely based on the remake and how it removed features from owners of the original game. Reforged is still fun to play warcraft 3 is my favorite game of all time and at the core it is the same. I am just sad that reforged was so poorly excecuted as it would have been fantastic if it could bring the joy of this game to new players

    The blizzard we fans adored is long gone. It's a joke of a product with contracted artwork from another studio? As if Activision blizzard is a small indie company, that's been a running gag for how long now? They don't put in effort anymore it's the same with wow. They have lost their integrity and my loyalty.

    So many years after release, still barely functional game. Most people just use old graphics too. Old Blizzard is dead and gone. Been playing WC3 since it came out and since Reforged arrived it's the least I've ever played. Shame.

    God I miss warcraft 3 so badly. I still love and admire the work done to make the game but then they released this game and literally not metaphorically killed the game.

    I would have paid so much money to have them not **** with warcraft 3... or atleast not totally kill it...

    I grew up on warcraft III. It was what got me into PC gaming. It was a companion for many years with the single player alone. The multiplayer taught me to interact with others online. Hell, even teaching me English. To see it crushed and spat on to earn some quick extra cash is saddening.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.
