    Such a disappointment. Not containing promised content. Does not work properly on macbook. Ironic, scince wow with high res can be played but not wc3.

    I didn't buy this game, I didn't want this game, and I haven't played this game. However, this game was forced upon me and replaced the game I did actually buy and purchase, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. The fact that this abomination came out and screwed up the game I actually own is mind boggling. WHY!?!?!

    Activision/Blizzard should restore the original Warcraft III to how it was and    I didn't buy this game, I didn't want this game, and I haven't played this game. However, this game was forced upon me and replaced the game I did actually buy and purchase, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. The fact that this abomination came out and screwed up the game I actually own is mind boggling. WHY!?!?!

    Activision/Blizzard should restore the original Warcraft III to how it was and let people who want to play Reforged, play Reforged. Are they going to do the same thing to classic Diablo II if that Diablo II remaster ever comes out? That would be a loss as well.

    Activision/Blizzard went out of their way to preserve videogame history with WoW Classic and now they have corrupted Warcraft III. It makes no sense.    … Expand

    The update really Focked up my wc3 I can't even play the actually game it just says "There was an error in handling the request" I feel like they said this to me. you stupid customer actually thinking you can play this game with promising ideas of stunning visuals.     High Fidelity? More like slightly less than Diablo 3 fidelity with up-scaling, not only that but out sourced the the only visible change to Singapore to save money.     They will censor their player base, it happened already in Starcraft 2 ! They abuse people and steal literally !

    Also you can see they will try to talk they wait out of it and almost never apologize, or not sincerely ! They worlds are empty ! I didn't even bought this game and i am blizzard fan myself. Because it is absolute garbage. They also deleted old game client, so existing playerbase is forced to buy this game.

    And they put into eula: they own custom created content, created in the game. Someone written you can't own idea, However it is tricky and dissuades people from the creating custom content and affects existing content as well. Some maps may be deleted, or who knows. And map makers will have to go to all trouble to remaking their maps. If they want to get credit, for example when applying for a job...

    This is new level of low even for blizzard. I implore you don't buy their product and skins ! This company is garbage, human waste and thiefs !!! Play path of exile it is f2p. Stop playing their games and boycott ! Don't PREORDER !!! Wait until game is released at least...    … Expand

    Add here lots of lags and bugs, which weren't in classic Warcraft 3 and even in "Reforged" beta-version after its polishing! I successfully refunded my preorder. However, I didn't want to write a review before I saw the blizzard's "apologies". Apparently, we didn't have a right to expect a good game after their advertising, which is still on their official website and sells unrealized features.
    For $20-40 (depends on your country) you will obtain only new models, which are good in isolation from the lazy game environment and anyway spoiled by strange lighting and shadows absence.    … Expand

I'm sure i'm not the only one who had to buy these games multiple times. When Reforged came out, it was finally easy to find, and able to be downloaded, but the game was gutted of everything I enjoyed about the game. Not only did they fail to deliver on the improvements and remastered content they promised... but they ruined everything from the original WVCIII release, ESPECIALLY ruining custom lobbies. Also who thought it was a good idea to release this without any type of actual ladder? Losses don't count against you, only wins matter. AND they managed to **** up the servers for everyone who still booted up their old copies since now you have the actual classic version of WCIII on these cluster ****ed new servers with all the **** changes. And they make it VERY clear that if you create anything half decent in the custom games it belongs to them along with your entire life, soul, first born child... It's almost as if they are still butt hurt that a WCIII mod blossomed into the worlds greatest e-sports game while their every attempt to enter thee competitive gaming market falls laughably short. Blizzard is quite literally dead, I pray they never remake Diablo II, keep at least something sacred. Thank god for companies like GGG for bringing us worthy spiritual successors like Path of Exile.

    lol.... Played Destiny 2... sucked... Played Black Ops4.... Trash.... Played single player Modern Warfarefare from a friend's account (he got it free w/graphics card)....     The greatest problem with this "remaster" is that it tries to appear beautiful by making the old version ugly. They removed the UI of the old version and replaced it with a siepia layer to look old and depressive. Before the patch they even removed the shadows of the units during game!

    No new UI, again those 12 old unit packs, killed original WC3, new 3D models look like they are made of wax (80% of them are awfully modeled), no new cutscenes, no new content, killed legendary original Russian voiceovers, new "amazing" anti-client treaty on custom games/maps

    I like the character redesigns...
    That said, I cannot play custom games due to the consistent desync bug. There is absolutely no point in trying to play this game.
    I'm very upset with the lack of attention and care to this ex-beloved game.

    Disappointed in Blizzard. This isn't the same company that made Warcraft and Starcraft, or even Overwatch more "recently", that's for sure. It's very possible that Blizzard is dead. I see what they were trying to do with Reforged, but it was poorly executed, and worse, forced on players/owners of the original game. Bad form, Blizzard, bad form.

    I can't even play the old way anymore, they force you to play their messed up remaster. The news terms that steal the work of the creators of custom maps is a scandal.
    So greedy and disrespectful towards their community.

    I grew up with Warcraft III, it was always my favorite game, but Blizzard ruined it completely. Somehow they made every single thing in the game worse, even the new models look more like they were made for screenshots not gameplay. The worst thing is that they've killed the classic game, you can't play the original anymore. This is basically a huge f*** you to all of the fans. Thanks Blizzard!

    The game is a pack of lies. Many of the things promised in the game aren't even in the game. It crashes non stop. Blizzards customer support is pure evil banning people for trying to help them get refunds to this abomination of a game. Don't buy it , infact never buy any thing ever again from Activision Blizzard. Blizzard is just a dead brand which Activision controls now.

    Blizzard took everything people wanted and asked for, threw that all away, and imposed new draconian policies and tried erasing the past. This is the worst "remaster" ever made, bar none, and a sign that Blizzard is no longer a top tier developer nor consumer friendly. Avoid at all cost.

And to kill the option to play the classic version, which I paid for and rightfully own, and downright despicable. I spit on you Blizzard. I own so many of your games and even paid for Hearthstone content. You got my last bit of money.

    How can you force people who own the original game to play the downgraded version. No stats, no ladder, no clans. Where are the contents you promised and enticed me to pre-order? And now I can’t get a refund because I pre-ordered and played in the beta lol. Whoever decided to kill the original client should resign immediately. He’s not fit to make big decisions like that. Who gave him the power to void all the purchases we have made since 2002 buying the original game? Is that even legal?    … Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
