    Very disappointed with the final product I tried. I got this game to relive my childhood and bring back many amazing, nostalgic, funny, heroic, fun memories. This is one customer that will aggressively pursue a refund, due to the pile of electronic dung that I was tricked into getting. Good riddance blizzard.

    From the best games in the world to the worst....I'll never pre-order anything form blizz, already made a refund request for this disgrace, also made a refund request for Shadow lands.

    It is difficult to re-release a game you created decades ago and somehow make it substantially worse, but Blizzard managed it. Out of touch with the userbase, unapologetically kowtowing to autocrats, it's the Blizzard no one saw coming.

    I really looked forward to an actual reforged warcraft 3 experience, but instead we get a rushed remastered experience that in most cases just feels like a downgrade. I dont even want to start about the lies used to lure us into thinking this was going to be epic.

    The Games freeze for short amount of times all the time, even in the menu.
    My Campaign progress gets deleted after every restart of the game, even my save files.

    The only thing that works sometimes, is to lay Custom Maps with the Classic Graphic, but for that I wouldn't need to pay 30 Euros. That was possible with the Default Warcraft III.

    Let's skip aside all those bugs, glitches, weak UI, ect.
    All users still playing the old game were forced with an update - basically Blizzard destroyed the new game and old game in one go. Bravo, what a great way to say "We don't care. Either you play the new stuff, or you don't play at all."

    And yet there is one more issue on top of that garbage pile. Every map, game mode, ect. that a user will create will be automatically an intellectual property of Blizzard. They aren't obliged to give you credit for your effort. You will not get any gratification, you will not be mentioned in your work, you will not get even a "thank you". Bravo for the second time Blizzard, what a great way to say "We own you".

    Sadly another great developer is dead.

    This was a blatant bait and switch, promising one thing and delivering a much worse product. Wish I had not payed them with a preorder which probably wont be refunded. I feel bad knowing I payed to have a game I love ruined.

    Warcraft 3 was my favorite game for years. I played locally and online, normal and custom games, hell I enjoyed it more than Starcraft. The story brought me to WOW, DOTA brought me to LOL. Over the years I kept coming back to it, I loved that game. This is not that game. Political correctness/sexism (aka feminism) and greed/poor management killed this game.

    Playing WC3 for years, get super excited about Reforged. Buy it, dont like the new graphics, get it refunded. No big deal.

    Log in with Classic for a few games: Cut features, bugs, crashes and disconnects at every corner.

    The state of the game is abysmal. I had beta since the end of September, and it was unplayable for me 95% the time, as it constantly de-synced the matches.     I literally can't get past Chapter 6 for the Humans (The Culling) because the damn thing won't load.
    It just mutes all sounds, and writes a system message "Joining Local Game" ... and that's it. It's the same error I was getting during the beta testing. And these 2 things (online PvP and local PvE) should be unrelated to one another ...

    This is a **** ... absolutely disgusting ...
    The company can burn for all I care at this point. It's not like anything we love about it is still there ...    … Expand

    What can I say that others haven't already, This is just Blizzard adding to their pile of disappointments, The game itself is Warcraft 3, I'd rate it a 4/10 mainly because it has no reason for existing in its current state, the original was already good.... But the lies, the deception, and the false advertisement, more than sad it's just straight up wrong.

    From a technical point of view, there's not much more I can add to what has already been voiced by others. From a personal perspective, however, I am truly disappointed by what you did here blizzard. At least separate reforged from the classic so ppl can enjoy a great game from your long-gone days of glory

    I was having high hopes for War 3 Reforged but they let me down.

    I grew up with Blizzard, I lost a huge amount of hours invested in the lore created by this gaming Company... if I think about my childhood, Warcraft, World of Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo comes to my mind, really amazing times.. To see this company lowering their standards so much, to deliver such faulty products.. it's heartbreaking! Este juego me quitó algo que ya tenía y a la fecha de escribir y publicar esto aún no logro un reembolso, y blizz es 100% culpable de su fracaso.

    всё выглядит ну очень кустарно, уровня любительской стартаперской студии, но не за такой же ценник!
    за 6-10 баксов было бы уместно такую игру выкатывать.

    Again this is proof that Blizzard is 100% controlled by Activision and i'm very woried for Diablo IV.
    They promissed so much with W3 Reforge but if you compare 2018 with 2020 is just a joke and insult to your base core players...

    Ah the memories... My brothers and I loved Warcraft 3. We would play it almost every day back in the days. All those community created maps conveyed the passion and dedication each member had in crafting a unique experience for the rest of the community. Endless genres would spawn each week, and each map are truly unique.

    Now? Among the many problems present is that they want to respond to the community's passion and love with the threat of hijacking their custom maps, instead of potentially developing the most popular ones together with the community, simply because they failed to recognise the potential of DotA when it was staring at them right in the face. They moved away from Blizzard to expand further and Blizzard was pissed that they missed profiting from it, even though they were the one that ignored them in the first place. Before Reforged was released, they deflected their inability to do a detailed retcon by claiming that the community rejects it. Oh really? It was so suspicious. So many warning signs... No longer are these games made for gamers, but for those people in business suits so that they can buy another summer home somewhere.

    Now I am just crying inside. The Blizzard we know is dead. All that is left is an abomination that must be purged.

    So sad this was not as promised. And not only did it fail to live up to expectations, it ruined its original game... so unlike the Blizzard I grew up with.

    Compré el juego después de ver el vídeo del blizzcon 2018, aunque sabía que ese vídeo era de una versión temprana del juego no me imaginé nunca que en la versión final el cambio fuera tan grande y para peor. Básicamente lo único que tiene el juego son unas skins nuevas, después todo luce exactamente igual al juego original.     I would give a higher rating, although the game is broken, however, false advertising is too much, this is unacceptable. At the premiere of diablo III I turned a blind eye, but here they gone too far.

    I pre-ordered this game during Blizzcon 2018 reveal, that was a different game, what I have now is not what they sold me. FU Activision for killing one of the best studios ever and FU Blizzard for following the greediness of the big money. FU and you lost a loyal customer forever unless Blizzard goes back to it's roots, they should SPLIT from Activision like Bungee did.

    Got as a gift from friend. i Did not spend own money and i still think this game cost me so much. I loved War3. I played it many times, I played all the most epic custom games, and has so much fun of LAN parties with friends.

    Warcraft 3 Reforged is not Warcraft 3. It is abomination. Blizzard is dead, ruined game of my teenage days....

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
