    I played TFT from 2005. Blizzard deleted TFT and gived this trash. I didn't asked for it, it's totaly trash and PC requiriment is not like was with TFT. Thats why i hate this game

    I cant belive what this game did, they not just made the whole Bnet Navigation and usability way worse, took features away and had me to update 30gigs for the same classic expirienc, no they also destroyed totaly fine voicesounds to the worst german crab I ever heard...

    Wow , didn't expect Blizzard can break their own game, having plenty of time on their hands to deliver. I mean it`s not even a new product. How can the best gaming company fall so low. I think they shouldn't go by that name anymore. For a few Years now they do nothing but disappoint.

    If they at least kept old Warcraft 3, it wouldn't be so bad. But they didn't and as a classic player I find Reforged to be rather downgrade than upgrade.

    I know media outlets & publishers try to fight review bombing and want to be treated fairly..SO WHY DO THEY LIE about their games and cry like babies after we review bomb them? money thats why!!!
    This game is not a 0 tbh but thats what ACTIVISION-Blizzard deserve and thats why i give THEM a 0, not Warcraft 3!! Make publisher score a thing!

    Personally, after having been a Blizzard fanboi since I first played Warcraft 2 in 1996 and having gotten every single Blizzcon virtual ticket since they became available, the 2018 Blizzcon marked an inflection point. I had already stopped playing all of their games in the past couple of years, so that was the last straw... or so I thought.

    Because, somehow, the Reforged announcement DID give me hope and DID hype me quite a lot. Maybe, if they did this right, it would see a well-deserved resurgence.
    Maybe this updated campaign, with new storylines and updated cut-scenes and cinematics, would give the already awesome story even more memorable moments and general awesomeness.
    Maybe the E-Sports aspect of the whole thing would get back on track, I couldn't wait to hit the ladder, watch streamers and tournaments to no end.
    The last time my brother and I actively played videogames together was with Warcraft 3's custom games... Uther Party, DOTA, Tower Defense... maybe we could relive these moments with a new, updated look. Maybe we could see new custom games rise and ultimately succeed as standalones. Maybe we could even create some of these ourselves.

    But no, it was all a lie. None of the promises came true. On top of that, they broke the old game in the process. It's that bad, I cannot fathom how anyone at Blizzard was okay with releasing this game as is. Smells like corporate greed screwing the devs over, but still...

    This time for sure, this is the last straw. They won't see a single cent from me, not as a pre-purchase, not as a regular purchase, not with D4, not with any other BS they might throw at us in the coming years. I'm done.    … Expand

    No redone cut-scenes, no improved UI, no adjusted plot to current lore state. Not Reforged, just redrawn, re-voiced. Overall this one seems like piece of false advertisement from Blizzcon 2018.
    Classic Warcraft 3 client is gone, new one seems better but some functionality like clans is lost.
    I doubt Blizzard fix this failure, but hope a bit though.

    Between the "instant losses" that take you back to the menu screen, the lack of high-effort cinematics (which were advertised), and the multitude of other small bugs that deaden the gameplay experience, I can't say that this game was worth the price, headache, or time invested.

    I'm gone too from Blizzard games. Ruining warcraft 3 was the last nail on the coffin. So symbolic of what Blizzard has become, the new Blizzard ruined the legacy of the old Blizzard till the end.
    Bye Blizzard, I'd rather keep my fond memories of 2000's games and never have to deal with your modern **** games again.

    Not only is this game an absolute pile of garbage, it also killed the much better game that was the original Warcraft 3, as well as Warcraft 3's vibrant map-making scene that was still alive all the way until the release of this piece of trash that killed WC3 map-making as a hobby.

    I love w3, unfortunately reforge is not something that I love... Bad terrain, water and trees, horrible animations, lag on a computer that runs most games at max settings and bugs on top of a hefty price tag. Shameless cash grab...

They promised we were getting a modern UI, improved unit selection, new reforged cutscenes, new cinematics, World of Warcraft integration, new campaign maps and graphics rebuilt from scratch. We didn't get any of those aforementioned features with the exception of the upgraded units graphics but they look horrendous like ifBlizzard turned a critical acclaimed game into a pile of garbage.     I'm a fan of the Campaign of the original game, so I'd be OK with this release, if Blizzard didn't promise more than was delivered. Also was a fan of skirmish, but where is this mode anyway?     Compré el Warcraft 3 original cuando salió en 2002 y luego compré el trono congelado cuando salió en 2003, así que cuando oí que iba a salir un remake, me emocioné por un juego que jugué desde su lanzamiento hasta su declive en la base de jugadores, y que tendría un gran éxito con nuevos jugadores y una actualización de gráficos, pero desde el momento en que vi las imágenes del juego, todoCompré el Warcraft 3 original cuando salió en 2002 y luego compré el trono congelado cuando salió en 2003, así que cuando oí que iba a salir un remake, me emocioné por un juego que jugué desde su lanzamiento hasta su declive en la base de jugadores, y que tendría un gran éxito con nuevos jugadores y una actualización de gráficos, pero desde el momento en que vi las imágenes del juego, todo lo que pude ver fue lo terrible que eran las texturas y los modelos, todo se veía deslucido como si fuera a ser llamado por el público de turno y... reemplazaron los modelos bien definidos con basura ultra detallada que hace que multitudes de unidades se mezclen entre sí haciendo que cualquier tipo de pelea parezca un mosh pit, lo que para un rts es algo terrible, entonces a lo largo de la beta abordaron algunos de estos temas y lo hicieron más colorido, pero no es que tuvieran el tiempo o el dinero para rehacer los modelos en algo que realmente se sintiera como un modelo de Warcraft 3, pero con mejores gráficos la interfaz de usuario también se ve terrible, así que pasé de estar emocionado a estar mucho menos emocionado, pero estaba Todavía estoy esperando a toda la gente que jugaría a las costumbres y ahora en el lanzamiento veo que no sólo han eliminado completamente la capacidad de jugar a Warcraft 3 en el lanzador clásico (si lanzas el trono congelado original te dicen que hay una actualización disponible y te obligan a descargar un parche de 25 GB que elimina completamente el viejo menú principal y lo reemplaza con el nuevo y mejorado menú principal de Blizzard que te obliga a iniciar sesión con la información de tu red de batalla en lugar de tu cuenta que has usado durante más de 15 años ya que junto con todas tus estadísticas y tu vieja lista de amigos han desaparecido) y todo esto estás obligado a hacerlo a menos que juegues a una versión pirata del juego y para añadir la guinda a este horrible pastel te quitaron la posibilidad de jugar a campañas personalizadas así que todavía puedes hacerlas es el worldeditor pero no hay forma de jugarlas en el juego consigues todo esto incluso si no compraste reforged así que encontraron una forma de también joder a los veteranos y joder el legado de warcraft 3… Expand

But it was quickly starting to lag and was almost unplayable for a bit    I fell for the fine promises Blizzard made, cuz i really liked the Warcraft lore and have grown up playing most of the Blizzard games.

    I heard that they finally released the game so i figured i would go streaming the campaign today and at first i kinda liked it since it had new higher poly models that looked alright. But it was quickly starting to lag and was almost unplayable for a bit so i restarted the game it kept lagging but a little less, but this don't outweigh all the problems i noticed. Such as all portraits got a shimmer over them like protective spells in Elder scrolls Oblivion. Animations are really bad and unit movement is also lagging even when the rest of the game isn't. Most of the things the community didn't like about the initial models they released was never changed. They also copyrighted all custom maps, that also makes me not wanna finish my map i was working on. i will probably end up deleting it.

    After i ended today stream i also went to see what others thought about the finished version of the game. This is also where i found out about the copyrights and decided to create a metacritic account and to show my dislike of Blizzards "finished" product and the way they handle refunds. So i now called for a refund and if they fail to deliver they wont get another dime from me.

They completely (and quietly) walked back most of the features I was excited about lt in the 2018 announcement and I feel blindsided by the final product that was delivered.     Ya me dieron el rembolso, logre jugar con ese mal sabor de boca hasta la invasión del Monte Hyjal, en el momento que vi como Archimonde mata a un guardia apocalíptico, "tirandole" una energía desde el pecho, sin animación alguna dije hasta acá. Una gran decepción.

    I came in with the similar expectation I had with Starcraft Remastered. I just wanted a remastered experience of the old classic game. Everyone else already mentioned the technical and performance bit, so I won't be going there.

    Not only was the remaster disappointing, they even somehow ruined the classic version of the game. I think people would be more forgiving if the mess was just in the remaster. But no, they had to ruin the classic version too.

    It would not have been hard to satisfy me. My first computer game I ever purchased was warcraft. Then Warcraft 2, Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Diablo 2, Starcraft 2, Diablo 3... Huge fan...     It would not have been hard to satisfy me. My first computer game I ever purchased was warcraft. Then Warcraft 2, Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Diablo 2, Starcraft 2, Diablo 3... Huge fan...

    I preordered it early in 2019 and have been patiently waiting, this was suppose to be released no later than 12/31/2019. The original Starcraft was delayed for a long time but in the end it was we’ll worth the wait. I Expected great things especially when this was pushed back another month into 2020.
    What is this $#!% ?
    Portraits are awful with too much gamma or something, the shadows are white. The sound dubbing is almost as bad as the original. How hard is it to make a gif? It’s hard to look at. I’d prefer no animation to bad ones. There are no options to fiddle with they’re just awful. The cinematic scenes are the originals or sure appear to be. They’re down right lame if they’re new. Some of the original units even look better then the new ones. I could live with most of that if what was reforged was done well. It feels unfinished. Sloppy!

    This is an absolute travesty. They neutered one of the best games ever created and what's worse made it to where you can't go back even if you want too, as they have merged the clients. They bait and switched us with cutscenes that they are still using to falsely advertise the game. There are a plethora of bugs in both single player and custom games. Simply disgusting.     There is no reason to purchase since it only provides some new menu UI which's nobody care, and new models which you can actually modding by yourself years ago.

    No new campaign, cinematic, cutscene... even the cutscene we already seen on blizzcon 2018 is not included.

    And lastly, they also ruined the classic warcraft 3, so if you want to go back and have some old warcraft 3, meh, good luck.

    This game fails to deliver what it promised, with a list of features that were in the base game removed without anyone's consent. Blizzard went full-greed and lazy when it came to releasing this title and as a long time fan, I can't recommend anyone buy this game.

    This project feels like an attempt by those at blizzard who wanted to keep the original Warcraft 3 support going on Battle.net. The only way to do that was to release an updated version to make a little more money. The investors didn't want to spend any money on it, so it was developed by the cheapest bidder and as you would expect with a decision like that corners were cut everywhere.

    All you had to do is a paint-job. But not only you released an unfinished game that was finished 17 years ago. But you messed up the old game! I am impressed by this level of incompetence. Not even Noah in his ark could carry these animals out of the whole they dig for themselves.

    Absolutely disgusting "reforge" component. Also forbidden to play classic WC3 unless choose "old graphics", but this is not a classic game - this is buggy brew. All what they have to do - just dedicate servers to Bnet, not like old and odd p2p.

OK Blizzard, if you are not gonna refund us at least make the game playable, whenever I try to join custom games it just kick me, and now we are 4 days after the release and still have this issue, I only played 7 games 3 of them got crashed mid game. I was happy when they announce the remake of the game but at the same time I had bad feeling as it felt like blizzard is trying to make up their losses and get more money, but then I said to myself, it's WC3 it's already great and they will have a whole year to prepare it, I was wrong.… Expand

    Blizzard, as a modder of custom maps, I want my ownership back. You can't just take away our rights like that as we, modders, have made creative and fun maps for almost 18 years.

    I am one of those people who loved the old campaign but only stayed for thr custom games.I pre ordered war3 reforged in hopes of a revived custom game scene.Then i saw the news regarding ownership and refunds....warcraft 3 custom scene didnt just die...it was killed when you consider that war 3 classic is not available anymore.

    Warcraft 3 was my favorite game as a kid. This remake just feels like a money grab. Even worse I found out Blizzard was using false advertising to sell the game. As Uther would say, what happened to you Blizzard?

    Le jeu est complètement bugué et freeze tous le temps sur mon mac book pro 16p avec très bonne carte graphique, impossible de jouer convenablement avec des écrans noirs ou un jeu figé. La grille pas dispo sur les version européennes, impossibilité de changer les touches.     They promised so much yet delivered so little. For a time we didn't heard anything about any progress whatsoever on the game and on the last mile they started to rush it, that's lazy work.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
