    I am fan of warcraft. I've played warcraft 1 and 2 on the pentium 2 and playstation one.
    I've played warcraft 3 company about 10 times, and played custom maps for about 10 years.
    I've played wow for 3 years. I went to the cinema for warcraft movie (That was not bad, but worse than i'd expected. But what is your wc3 reforged? Looks like a spit on my face!

    Warcraft 3 ( 2002) was my childhood game , and now they also force me to play the warcraft 3 reforged version which is horrible and I cant download the warcraft 3 2002 version of the game anymore.

    What a mess... Unfortunately, this seems to be Activision's MO nowadays. Blizzard used to be a pinnacle and a synonym for quality. This was supposed to be easy for them because of the nostalgia factor, but they managed to completely screw it up.

    I am so disappointed. So very disappointed. It breaks my heart to give once a beloved game this score but enough is enough. Fu blizz, fu activision. I am done. I’m canceling my wow sub and cutting every ties. D4 looks ok but I will not preorder or buy it until I am 100% convinced it is not a rushed piece of **** or full of micro transactions. Fu for making me do this.

    Be wary of this this - can own your custom campaigns - very buggy and broke in spots, quality of cutscenes NOT what was promised in trailers. On top of it all, it retroactively makes a good game bad. Legit does not deserve a 1.

The missing "new cutscenes" , the on the fly development , the same voice acting (would i imagine is the least of the problems, if one at all ) , the no-refund policy , the dull lightning/bloom/shadow graphic aspects of the game , the custom game fan-based creativity input that is terminated through the new "policy" for copywrited map created from now on , the b.net issues , the OG warcraft burial .... So dissapointing ,and all that ,for the simple reason,of making and extra buck of a "thought to be" dead game (which is not bcause old wc3 was still played until this new garbage came out and replaced it for no good reason, but u see noone was filling activision's pockets with cash by playing 4ever a game that they bought just once and that's it), by remaking it (lmao) into w/e it was thought to be ,through misleading marketing and lieing to one of the strongest fanbased gaming audiences of modern gaming (post 2000).     Ok so this reforged is garbage not the game the reforged. In 2018 they release a nice trailer and in 2019 there was some nice gameplay on YT and I was hyped to play my baby again. But they **** it up so hard that the old game is better. Just don’t buy it.

It also messed with the Original game which was otherwise one of the great classics. Furthermore, if you want a refund there is a small chance you will get it and the developers refuse to take responsibility for their fan's disappointment.

    The fact that they stripped out features fromthe older version of the game and forced you to use the new client is infuriating. This new version is worst than the original, there is more to a game than updated graphics. What they did to custom games is shameful.

    How is it possible that the UI is WORSE all these years later? The game is not unplayable, but its not fun to play. Why are we missing hours of cutscene? This is not the worst game I've ever played, but it is the biggest dissapointment. Shame on you Blizzard.

    This game is real fraud. I requested a refund after a couple of hours of play. Absolutely everything does not correspond to what was promised and shown to us. The release of such a game and the demand for money for it should be punishable by imprisonment and multi-million fines. How long to? People must understand the responsibility for their actions.

On top of this, upon rebooting my PC I have to go to the Battle.net site downloads page to reinstall the game in order to continue playing Classic lest I be dumb enough to click the "Buy now" button that the launcher forces upon me every time I boot my computer.

    Oh and the new engine makes the menu clunky and unresponsive, thank you Blizzard very cool.

There are no new perspectives in kinematics. The interface was not improved, it is the same. They want to impose a new EULA for moders, almost 20 years late. There is a 30 Gb patch for online mode and the servers are bad. The stability of the game is bad, they also add new glyphs.

    Lo Meh !: what happened almost two decades ago with the theft of DotA 1 by another company (Valve) is not my fault or the moders, it is entirely the fault of Blizzard (Heroes of Storm should be DotA2) and just wants it don't happen again, don't be ridiculous    … Expand

    A downgraded game from near 20 years ago. I’ve yet to see which part is actually remastered. I’m not sure how it’s legal to blatantly false advertise like this.

    Well, basically they broke the classical mechanics from the old game and then did not replace them with anything. The game is all in all working but it is just another Graphics version with no original dubbing, custom campaigns, map editor, custom maps, clans. There are no new videos that were promised. Huge disappointment for me.

    By far one of the most atrocious releases I have ever seen from blizzard to date. If blizzard keeps it up they will ruin there image completely.

    If you had Warcraft III classic, don't buy. Not worth the "upgrade". Total waste of $30-$40. Might as well spend that buying a game on Steam that you will never play.

    All you had to do was just update the previous game. thats it. A texture and model update.

    Oh sure people would have been dissapointed, but it would have passed.

    But to realease a a broken, buggy mess, that removes existing features... 0 is to good.

    Where is the updated story? where is the old features that made warcraft III an amazing game? where is the new cinematics, the new cameras angles?
    Also blizzard downgrade warcraft III classic, now there is no ranked matches... Blizzard died to me, this is not a game, this is a $30 fraud.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
