    All my good memories are now buried into the ground, well done Blizzard. I had high hopes for this title and now I can't even wait for it to be fixed and play the old version in the meanwhile...
    Why do you do this?
    Is this the way you honor Warcraft III? The game that got us hooked for hours and hours... you HAVE to fix this game.

It’s just shows blizzard as a company is done/gone sadly. I’ve played blizzard games since Lost Vikings. Warcraft 3 is one of their better games.     Game is not what it was promised to be.

    It has terrible performance, they cut out a lot of features that were in the original game, that btw, you can't access anymore, because they removed with this new version that is worse in every aspect.

    This cannot be tolerated.

    Not worth buying. Blizzard made a Lot of promises they didnt keep. The cinematic scenes shown at Blizzcon wasnt even added to the game.

    $30 wasted and not even an opportunity to play the original. Blizzard is but a skeleton and sock puppet of Activision. What a complete utter let down of a beloved classic. Ui is horrible. Can't even play most custom maps, many things left out that were said to be in the game, graphics are not that great. The last straw was the B's about them owning rights to all custom maps.

    The game doesn't deserve a 0, but I'll give it that anyway because Blizzard needs to know they overstep their boundary by promising one thing and releasing another. I was looking forward to reliving my childhood again, but instead, the only childhood that I will be reliving is piracy because Blizz also deletes the original version of the game.

    Remaster is meant to be an updated, polished and faithful release of the original. This one is buggy, laggy, missing fatures the original had, new assets don't even match the art style of the old release. Deserves the score bombing it receives.

    - Better graphics ? You wish. The difference is minimal between this and a game that I was playing while still in primary school.

    - No new UI when it was promised, pathing for your own units is all over the place. Can't keybind in a RTS in 2020.

    What were they thinking. Refund this garbage while you can and send a clear message to Blizzard that we don't accept subpar products and we're tired of quick cash grab.    … Expand

    Honestly, what a disappointment. This was my entire childhood and to see it lowered to this extreme is just saddening. I will always prefer the first Warcraft game, it was a masterpiece unlike this new version. Blizzard should be ashamed of themselves for what they are doing.

    But I can't.

    Nothing that is advertised is in the game. Features from the ORIGINAL are broken or missing. New models are buggy and have skeletal freakouts at times. Their animations being locked to 20fps makes them look robotic. The remastered cutscenes and updated and tweaked lore - to better line things up with the current - are completely missing, and will not be added according to Blizzard.

    This, sadly, is just a giant cash grab.

    Shame on you, Activision. You killed the company that made my childhood tolerable, and now you're just parading around in the dead skin of my cherished yesteryear. You have the unmitigated gall to squat among the ashes of a thing that brought so much light, life, and joy to the world. How dare you?

Way to go Blizz, slapping your fanbase for using your creation to expand and ensure the replayability of your own game.

How is blizzard THIS disconnected from their fans? They simply do not care about their product anymore, it's all about cash grabs. The old Blizzard would never straight up lie to fans to get quick sales like this and at the same time destroy a classic. RIP Warcraft, Diablo, Starcraft.....I hope someone else buys these IP’s off you to give them a chance at life. Never again will you get another penny from me.

    A 20 year old classic, a titan of video game history, that now requires you to pull the Ethernet cable out of your PC to even start.

    They actually when back and disabled elements of Warcraft 3 that people paid for and had working for year and years. Then last week killed it.

    They also inserted language that states that any mods made to this new one, they own. Not the creator. WTF!? They also advertised that cutscenes would be redone in the style of WOW, then demonstrated it at their own conference. There are no new cutscenes! No new environments that are matching the WoW world. Re-model and reskin, the bare minimum.

    NO NEW UI.

    They also did the menus as a web page, running in Chrome. What kind of janky, low budget, crap is this? This is one of the best game devs in history falling down to the level of web flash games with punch the monkey quality.

    I'm so very sad.

    You can't even play the original anymore because they've taken it away.

    Take your mobile diablo designed by 3rd part devs, take your web driven, not remastered WC3 and shove it.

    Trust in modern Blizzard == gone. No wonder Mike Morhaime and Chris Metzen GTFO. Without the strong leadership it's the Boby Kotick show now. It's taken years, but he now has permeated all of Blizzard. Game over. They are now at the EA level.    … Expand

    Everytime I think Blizzard can't fall any further the floor disappears and there goes Blizzard huling towards a new level of low. At this point I really don't believe they care about their customers at all. Maybe they care about their communist chinese customers but that's it.

    I preordered this game and what they showed on their reveal in 2018. is a completely different game than the one we got in 2020. The cutscenes look way worse, the FPS is terrible and many other features were cut.

    I honestly cant believe they did this to a great game. This was my childhood. I spent hundreds of hours over the course of 10 years playing custom games in wc3.

    I don't own the Reforged edition of this game, but I do own the original version of it. My score is based solely on Blizzard changing my original game, and integrating the Reforged version into it. There was no need to alter the original game like this! If the Reforged version is a re-imagining of the original game, then let it stand as it's own title on it's own merits.     This is a scam. Almost nothing that was promised is in the game. The only thing that is here is the updated models, and Blizzard outsourced them. Combine that with tons of bugs, a worse UI than the original and to top it off you cannot play the original game anymore, you can only play this version with the old graphics if you do not buy the remaster. This is the worst remaster ever.

    Больше нельзя убивать детей. Даже когда по сюжету устраиваешь бойню нежитью, должен их обходить.

    Классический вк3 удален из магазина, его владельцам теперь доступен только рефорж, но без новой графики. При этом, ты все равно должен скачать все 30 гигов.
    Заготовка под донатные скины в мультиплееры.
    В оригинале, по непонятной причине, удалили некоторые меметичные фразы у персонажей. Например, "Im wasted" у дриады.
    Для смены хоткеев надо редактировать текстовый файл в папке игры. Причём тебе об этом сообщают прямо в настройках игры и даже заботливо говорят путь.
    Графика переключается только из меню (это не норма для ремастеров).

    I don't know how they managed to pull it off, all Blizzard had to do was a simple remake and the game would sell itself. But instead they killed the old one, and offered a broken downgrade as something to buy. It's clear by now that they know how to grab defeat from the jaws of victory. Blizzard sank even lower and added more sleaze to their already giga-sleazy reputation.

    Apparently this remake, or at least much of it, was outsourced to a tiny team in Malaysia and treated like a worthless side project so they wouldn't have to pay any real amount of money to produce.

    Bravo Activision Blizzard, bravo. 0/10.    … Expand

    Wow, I was so excited to delve back into nostalgia...instead I got a buggy, ugly semi-remaster. I don't care for a lot of the new texture work or character designs. The false advertising is egregious and shows the complete disregard for their most loyal fans interest. They have lost another customer. I will look very closely prior to purchasing anything Activision/Blizzard.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
