    completly ruins the game i have loved for years. Stops me playing the original and the quality of the upgrade is terrible, laggy and removes loads of features from the original.

    Мало того, что наплевали в души фанатам, выпустив такой ужасный продукт (да и дело не только в качестве, но и в непонимании того, за что люди вообще любили эту игру, всё сделано с точностью наоборот), так ещё и отняли возможность полноценно играть в оригинал. Когда-то я купил именно "ту" игру, и сейчас у меня её отняли. Ограбили.     The new character models look good. I don't care about the missing cut scenes, dialog, or story changes. I'm not even bothered by the EULA, I don't think it has changed much from the original.

    What's atrocious to me is how they left out ladder, character profiles, tournaments, and an updated UI.     Reforged upgraded my classic client. Since then: 1. Laggy menu. 2. Campaign mission 3 doesn’t unlock, can’t play campaign. 3. Integrated night elf and undead maphack (mine detector), no fair to play pvp matches. 4. No way to play custom campaigns. 5. Custom games lobbies are disconnecting, can’t start a custom game. 6. No option to play offline. So how do I play the game again?

    Most disapointing game from Blizzard yet! Besides all the known "missing" content, old battle.net is down, so those who played the OG are upset. This game is a slap on the face, total disrespect towards any fan Blizzard had. From bad gameplay mechanics, to terrible cinematics, stay away from this game if you ever loved blizzard

    Would love to give it a 10/10 but it has so many problems from not being finished on time, worse graphics and performance then promised.     You can feel free to ignore the 10/10 reviews on here about the game being a work of art; either it is Blizzard itself trying desperately to get even a 1/10 or loyal whipping boys trying to justify to themselves that this lie is good. It's time to let developers know that their customers aren't to be abused and that we will fight back against a bastardization of an amazing game

    - Desaparición de los perfiles (no hay estadísticas, ni historial, ni matchmaking) - Desaparición de los clanes. - No hay un ladder para las partidas multijugador. - Falta de servidores en Sudamérica (problema que persiste desde 2002, al 2020 debería ser inaceptable) - UI antigua y no adaptable a las nuevas resoluciones    Falta total del apartado "Campañas Personalizadas".

    - Colores demasiado vibrantes, incluso el juego ni siquiera tiene la opción de corregir la gamma.

    - Lo de las hotkeys es algo inaceptable. El mismo juego te indica que tienes que editar un .txt para cambiarlas, la personificación de no hacer las cosas con ganas.

    - Las texturas del terreno no se corresponden a la calidad visual de los edificios y unidades, que están muy bien.

    - (Esto es a gusto personal) Los menús de fondo de las campañas son simples imágenes con un leve movimiento, a diferencia de los fondos en 3D que teníamos en el original.

    - Las animaciones de las unidades están "lockeadas" a 30 FPS, cuando el resto del juego corre a 60 FPS, lo que las hace ver "raro".

    - El pathfinding no funciona correctamente, provocando que varias unidades se traben entre sí al moverse en grupo.

    - Errores de sonido en bucle. Particularmente, daré los ejemplos con los que me he encontrado: *Al morir los murlocs, a veces hacen 3 o 4 veces seguidas su sonido de muerte.

    *Algunas unidades a veces no hacen sus sonidos de selección, ataque o movimiento.

    *Algunos ataques de unidades no producen sonido alguno.

    - Algunas misiones de campaña (varían según la persona), inmediatamente después de cargar, te llevan a la pantalla de "Derrota".

    - Algunas personas han perdido el progreso de la campaña al entrar y salir del juego (no me ha pasado esto particularmente, por ahora).

    - Al jugar las campañas en modo "Reforged" , el progreso no se translada al modo "Clásico", por lo que toca hacerlas de nuevo.

    - El 90% de las cinemáticas son las mismas que vimos en el juego original, con un poco más de brillo y adaptadas a pantallas actuales. La única "reforjada" es la de la intro del juego, presentada en 2018.

    - En cuanto a las escenas ingame, algunas han sido re-hechas, otras levemente modificadas, y otras siguen igual que el original.

    - (Esto es a gusto personal) La dificultad de las campañas es bastante más accesible que en el juego original. No sé si será una sensación o es algo que efectivamente es así.

    - La gran mayoría de personajes con nombre propio en la historia tienen su modelo único. Sin embargo (y esto me sorprendió mucho), el capitán Falric, Marwyn y Luc Valonforth tienen exactamente el mismo modelo.

    - En cuanto a los héroes del multijugador, fueron prometidos varios modelos de cada héroe, para no ver simples recolores del mismo. Sin embargo, esto no existe, exceptuando las skins que vienen con la edición Spoils of War.

    - En cuanto a rendimiento, particularmente no he tenido problemas, exceptuando las caídas de FPS al destruir un edificio o (particularmente) usar la habilidad "Terremoto" de Thrall.

    - Algún que otro crasheo directo al escritorio sin motivo aparente.

    - EDITADO 1: Los dragones adultos no tienen retrato (los dracos y las crías si tienen)    … Expand

    Naturalmente, al ser warcraft 3, es una delicia de juego, este juego, es increible por solo ser warcraft 3, sin embargo, como remasterizacion, es un fracaso rotundo, lo unico nuevo que plantea el juego es un lavado de cara, no tiene nada nuevo con respecto al juego clasico, es mas, contiene menos cosas que el juego del 2002, a su vez contiene bugs por varias partes, la jugabilidad peor, yNaturalmente, al ser warcraft 3, es una delicia de juego, este juego, es increible por solo ser warcraft 3, sin embargo, como remasterizacion, es un fracaso rotundo, lo unico nuevo que plantea el juego es un lavado de cara, no tiene nada nuevo con respecto al juego clasico, es mas, contiene menos cosas que el juego del 2002, a su vez contiene bugs por varias partes, la jugabilidad peor, y los graficos, que son el unico punto positivo de este juego, es sin embargo, su punto mas debil, ya que, al ser un RTS, los graficos quedan en segundo plano, los modelos de los personajes que son una delicia, a la distancia de la camara, no se perciben a la hr de jugar, por lo que el juego se ve practicamente igual que el clasico, es un autentico timo lo que ha hecho Activision Blizzard, no cumplio absolutamente nada con lo que habian prometido, parece como que en los practicamente 2 años que tuvieron, no hicieron absolutamente nada, sin duda alguna, estamos ante el peor titulo que ha lanzado Blizzard, y a juzgar por las notas que esta teniendo, estamos ante el peor juego de la historia… Expand

    Warcraft Reforged is clunky, my units get stuck trying to walk in a straight line, no unit stacking this time around for flying units either. Dialogue is poorly redone, no new lines of dialogue. Environments look sloppy, the map pictures are ripped straight out of the original game and extremely pixilated. I played the original WC3 and FT and loved them. I know blizzard is planning on continuing development until they go under but you have to think that, from a marketing standpoint at least, delaying a year, dodging the negative press and releasing a finished game would be a sound plan.

    If you made it this far, don't pre-order anything, you don't get anything extra and when you ask for a refund you've just given Blizzard an interest free loan.    … Expand

    Warcraft 3 reforged is like a Disney live-action remake. If you like the 2019's Lion King, you'll like Wc3 reforged. If you think instead the "live-action" Lion King was a shameful cash grab with only better graphic and without soul or passion... well, this is the same s#1t.

    Look how they massacred my boy. I'm extremely disappointed with what became to one of the best RTS of all time. It looks horrible as textures are flat with no shadows and it doesn't bring anything new to gameplay. Not to mention false advertisment, well, who doesn't this days? It makes absolutely no sense to "upgrade" to Reforged and they ask sum as if for AAA class game. What were they thinking?

    They reduce option in WARCRAFT III classic to sell the garbage reforged edition, in classic, less graphic options, to make reforged look better.

    The game is not finished, it's not like the trailers show it, its really a scam.

    This remake, literally does that. It actually forces OG players to upgrade no matter what. On top of that, they retroactively claimed every single custom game to ever exist with no royalties and acknowledgements. That has to be Illegal right?

    Lots of things missing that were promised. But honestly, if that was ALL that was wrong, this would have been a 5/10 remake. This is a dangerous precedent. Imagine if Bethesda decides to make it impossible to play Fallout 3, NV, Skyrim, Morrowind and Oblivion as they were because they release a broken version and lay claim to every mod made for it. That is unforgivable.

    The only way they get their rating back is to remove the modding TOS and make an alternative launcher for Classic as well. But whilst you are at it, fix everything else.    … Expand

    I am giving out my own copy, we are also trying to get multiplayer fixed, cuz go to hell battle.net and blizzard. These guys need a horsedick for what I care, I want my childhood back. Imma just name my copy folder, Reforged Dota. At least my copy works. It ain't filled unfinished work or bugs.

    My childhood's favorite game has been used for a money grab. Can't even play on old server, we are forced to buy this mediocre product. It is literally a scam. Utterly disapointed.

Flat out lied to an entire community about what we were getting and even gave it to us past the deadline lol. Can’t even play custom games with friends online unless you happen to randomly be in the same server.     Glitchy, buggy, and not what we were promised. Blizzard cut certain features they had promised and kept our money hoping that we wouldn't notice. They lied to us. To make matters worse, you can't use the old client anymore. After HK, DI, HotS, and so much more, this is actually the last straw.

    W3 was my first PC game that introduced me to online play, and I was in love 17 years ago.
    NOW, I actually CRIED when booting into the game and playing the start of the game.
    Blizzard is dead to me.
    I will never buy another of their games.

    Its not "Reforged". Its a disgrace. So many bugs encountered in the first 10 minutes of gameplay. The main menu is lagging. Also experienced some crashes during gameplay. Just play the vanilla Warcraft 3. Its 1000 times better.

Hereby I put 0 score to Blizzard and not to the Warcraft 3 itself. The game is awesome as it was 10 year's ago. Playing online comes with huge lags around 400-500ms. The dialogs are plagued with random texts and atrocious Chinese translations. Kel'thuzad, the name of an in-game major character has his name translated to 克里苏加狗, which literally means Kel'thu-dog. The sentence: "This sword is cursed" is translated to something meaning "this sword is sexually violated by an elephant". Although funny, these obvious errors hints that blizzard probably uses some bots to do the work to cut budgets. I would like to know how other non-english translations work out. WTF blizzard, how can you even consider releasing this thing when this is obviously not a complete product.

    I literally made a Metacritic account just to tell you that this game is terrible. Please do not make the mistake most of us did and buy this game, it's terrible. It's such a downgrade it's actually disgusting.

    The only good part are the new models and graphics, but those don't make up a game. Seriously, do NOT buy this, just pirate the old bnet version.

Even if you are capable of playing online because of all the technical issues, there's no point to because there's no Ladder system.     Yea, its true, reforged is hot garbage not worth $30. So at the very least let us play the WC3 version from 18 years ago if we don't want to play Reforged. You promised 'crossplay' between both versions but instead you forced everyone on the same client. disgusting.

    DO. NOT. BUY.
    if you did, they offer automatic refunds now because of the sheer volume :)

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
