    Obviously Blizzard isn't the same company it was 17 years ago. To release a game in this state is unforgivable. In addition to the plethora of other lies, competitive multiplayer has been a staple in rts games; especially Blizzard games. To have that feature not even available at launch is disgusting. This feels like a complete slap in the face and it's hard to see this as anything other than a blatant bait and switch cash grab. I hope this is a wake up call for the suits and clowns who run the show. They need to work fast to try to have any semblance of a chance of redemption. With their recent track record, I don't see them really caring though. Unless their pocket book takes a big hit we wont see Blizzard working hard to rectify this butchery.… Expand

    wc3 is an amazing game, however the reforge fails it. If you take out everything from the old game and just focus what the reforged brought then its a mess. The only positive light is the updated graphics, however not all the new graphics are great, some icons are hard to tell what its meant for. Crashes in games are more prevalent then it was before, slower loading times, and slowerwc3 is an amazing game, however the reforge fails it.     What the Hell Blizzard? An outsourced broken piece of **** It runs Crome web browser inside for it’s menu. I don’t know anything about programming but it sure is real slow. I wish I could give it back, and I’m not even talking about a refund. I just want my Classic back.

    I got this game using WoW tokens, if I could refund it I would. The only highlight is literally just the opening cut-scene, I can go to YouTube for that. I was looking forward to replaying this, but of-course I ran into 2 bugs already during the first campaign. Did they hire one guy to do all that cut-scene 'remastering'? I searched for this 'reforged' experience but all I felt was wastingI got this game using WoW tokens, if I could refund it I would.     Blizzard not only managed to destroy a game I've played for over a decade, they nuked the original client so that they could force the new one onto all of us and boy does it suck. It's somehow in a worse state than the vanilla edition. How do you make a game this old WORSE?

    Is it just me or did anyone else notice the bad voice acting? When you rescued the child on one of the starting campaign missions the girl sounds like an adult trying to sound like a little girl. I honestly laughed and shook my head. The one thing they got right was the cinematic at the start, but that excitement quickly fell as i started noticing the game not running smooth. The auction house system of Diablo 3, the banning of players for expressing themselves politically, banning people for helping players get refunds, all the shady things they've done in the past year... Hiding cutscenes from BFA on youTube because they're ashamed of the final product.

    First, update patch is completely broken. Doesn't even work (freezes at 65%, no "repair" option, undo option, etc). Then when I dig in, I find out I have to download all of Reforged? 24 gigs of wasted **** space when all I wanted was to just keep playing my classic game like I did with SC1.

    Way to go Blizzard. I don't have time to dl 24 gigs or the headache if the patcher is still broken. Probably never going to touch Legion TD again. Oh well, another one of now ~50 moves by the gaming industry that makes me no longer a gamer.    … Expand

    The amount of broken features upon release combined with the false advertising makes me feel violated as a consumer who paid money for this. I would have given this game a 1 but after realizing I could not simply play the original instead(It consumed the original Warcraft 3 as well) so this gets a fat 0 for breaking a classic.

    False advertising, game is the same as before with new hd graphic but cutscenes are not like they shown at blizzcon, nor the game adjusted to fit with World of Warcraft. Full bugged, fuse with old w3, non-refundable et banned if you talk about refund on forums. Blizzard doesn't exist anymore it's a corporate sellout called Activision killing our beloved industry

    I would love to leave a positive review for this game. But sadly since the update I am not even able to play the game. Can operate in the menu somewhat steadily only when I have set the resolution to 800x600. Every time i try to create the campaign i get an auto-defeat pop-up. Cannot create any custom games, even single player. The game is in horrible state and there will be a lot of workI would love to leave a positive review for this game.     Terrible optimisation, they removed A LOT of features they promised back in 2018 and there are endless bugs. I never thought a game could get worse than Fallout 76 but here we are.

    This remaster of a masterpiece from nearly 20 years ago was a quick and easy way for Activision Blizzard to grab as much money possible from the WoW fanboys and ditch the true Warcraft 3 fans.

    Unbelievable betrayal of people that pay good money for this **** product. It’s unconscionable that refunding is almost unheard of and that you have to make such an effort and “win a lotto “ so to speak, to get one. I hope they go bankrupt someday soon for their greed.

    Missing content, bugs, poor performance, shady policies for world editor, and a forced downgrade to the classic version. This is not a remaster, this is not a remake, this is not reforged, this is an insult to one of the greatest and most iconic games in PC history.

    Worst game in the history needs it's fully deserved worst rating. Even beyond if possible. I would love to give this fully deserving `masterpiece` a whooping -100 rate if this page allows it. Pathetic marketing and human relation that are way worse than that of an uncivilised orcs. Thanks for ruining my childhood

    Absolutely horrible, reskinned game with none of the promised updates at release. Tons of bugs, lag, crashes and a myriad of other problems. Blizzard has not acknowledged any of the issues and has gone as far as deleted my support ticket for a refund without any response and has removed it from my support history.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
