    I have $2,000 dollars PC with a 3rd generation Ryzen CPU and a Radeon 5700 XT GPU and still I'm suffering from fps drops. This game has to many bugs to be playable.

    I expected much more from Blizzard.

Then you take a great game and basically do absolutely nothing with it and claim its the best thing you've ever put out. Your graphic designers really outdid themselves blowing up textures in photoshop.

The end of match summary is completely butchered and doesn't tell you useful info. The old client is gone, even if you don't own reforged you're forced into replacing it if you ever connect to bnet. Basically they took away the old real classic version.You are now forced to play a new inferior "classic" version merged with the horrible buggy reforged edition of the game which is missing tons of stuff. Custom maps now have a report button so blizzard can ban maps and ban people hosting them. Newly modified horrible EULA.It's basically as stupid as like saying someone who wrote a book doesn't own their book,its actually the guys who made the nifty pen they used to write the book who owns it.Pulling a policy like that right under people's feet in a game that had 18 years of life thanks to a great modding community is in no way healthy for wc3's longevity and is insulting to dedicated fans of the game. The new EULA discourages creativity and truly will murder the amazing custom game scene WC3 had. The game also lacks polish and is littered with bugs.     false advertisement and broken promises; a LOT of cut content from what advertised on their website when in reality what we got is hardly a graphical update. they also cut the classic wc3 client and merged it with reforged's new client, thereby ruining the original game

    They completely butchered the original game. I can't even recognize this company anymore. Blizzard is a sinking ship with no intentions of going afloat. Good luck with the next releases as I'm sure they will be as much of a failure as well. RIP BLIZZARD.

    This game actually removed the old version of the game from online play, and if you patched classic Warcraft 3 with any of the recent patches your old version of the game will actually be uninstalled.     Bugs, 2D backgrounds, game kicks me when I've tried to continue campaign before I restarted the game...
    The same thing people said - not the same thing as blizz promised on blizzcon 2018...
    The only thing they did - new 3D models.
    Sick game... please recreate this game again... #Reforge_Reforged !

    They removed old features from the game, even if you didn't buy reforged, it completely broke, especially a huge portion of custom maps not working.

    Don't buy it, you'll only be paying for a bad re-skin that objectively made the old game worse for everyone.

But that you ruined warcraft 3 reign of chaos & the frozen throne that i owen and liked to play till the day before reforged, that's a new low of how low a Company can get. Look at capcoms resident evil 2, that's how you make a remake!!!!!! And again why mess up the old version with it??? The game went from a complete visual and lore overhaul to a reskin with terrible grafics, non existent animations, lifeless cutscenes, and with performance optimization that would make indie gamemakers laugh.     And we paied for that with 30-40 USD, some of us (sadly) years ago, and with the soul/support of the old game's batte.net support.

    On top of all that, in a world, where whatever the consumer buys, they have the right to refund it, Activision trying to hide the choice of refund below the bullsit of a system they call customer support, and on top of that, banning forum posts, that would help people trough it.

    If you haven't yet, please don't buy this game. If you want to relive the Warcraft 3 experience, just pirate down the originals, and play them trough. The only thing you'd miss out on, is unbearable performance, and terrible grafics/animation.
    And if you are there, unless you are deepli invested in other Blizzard titles, i'd just delete the battle.net app, and leave the whole company to be until they sort out themselves, and turn away from this greedy, company focused state they have been in since the Activision-era.    … Expand

    They killed my baby! No clans, no profiles, no automated tournaments, weird freezes, that whole custom games thing. And as bugs I had a cutscene in the campaign that just got me a black screen and then sent me into the main menu. Then, I play the cutscene again to see it and it starts the next mission.     sheer nostalgia alone made me buy this game but boy did u **** this up Blizzard. I dont know how u can make an 18 year old game even worse but somehow you managed. I'm so dissapointed that i absolutely had to leave a review, and this just so happens to be my first review on metacritic.

    I don't want to have anything to do with it, but playing some classic WC3 to reminisce the good old time sound nice.
    So I clicked on my old WC3TFT icon, and the client tells me to download 30GB of update. I was like "WTF?" Then after some research, I realized that Blizzard not only fuxked    So this morning, I turned on my Computer, got on the internet, and heard WC3 Reforged was released.

    It's a shame to see what my favorite company has become. Warcraft was one of my childhood games that I grew up with, so seeing how this turned out to be made me feel betrayed by blizzard. It's safe to assume that blizzard is no more the company is dead to me.

I have been a long time fan of the Blizzard community since the days of Warcraft 2 and Starcraft. I’ve been a part of the World of Warcraft community from Vanilla to Mists of Pandaria. I’ve played and re-played the Diablo series from 1 to 3 multiple times. I’ve had the pleasureYou’ve heard it in the news. You’ve seen the feedback from the community. The metacritic score speaks for itself. I have been a long time fan of the Blizzard community since the days of Warcraft 2 and Starcraft. I’ve been a part of the World of Warcraft community from Vanilla to Mists of Pandaria. I’ve played and re-played the Diablo series from 1 to 3 multiple times. I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying the company of people that brought joy and a sense of pride in the gaming community. I realize that you are a company that needs to satisfy the bottom line. Money is everything in this world, and seems to be more of a driving force than ever. The one thing I ask myself in these times is where has the pride of creation gone? With all the assets and talent within your company, why is it you cannot deliver something epic? From someone in my place, with no real hope of having the chance to create something as grand as you’re able to, I sit here trying to understand why even a simple cash grab can be so damning. We’ve seen it across the board with multiple companies. The micro transactions. The games that aren’t finished and yet they demand we pay for the full price of the game. Empty promises and the assurance that things will get better later. I say enough. Just stop. Stop buying into these lies and learn from these events. For those of you that still hold out hope that this problem can be fixed, look at the bigger picture. Let Blizzard and all the other companies know that we won’t tolerate it anymore. The smoke and mirrors act needs to end, and for that to happen we need to do our research. Don’t pre-order games, no matter what reputation the company has. Demand better and reward those that put in the effort. We need to come together and say enough is enough. We will no longer be subject to these business practices. We expect better. We demand better. Your company is one of the best in it’s field. You have the history to prove it. Go back to your roots and bring us back to the good old days. My only apology is that I’ve waited this long to voice my feelings. I know it’ll be met by mixed interpretations and perhaps a ban, but I love this company. It brought me into the gaming scene, and I would be remiss if I didn’t at least voice the last thoughts of an old gamer seeing his history go down the gutter.     Imagine if Facepunch studio suddenly created Garry's mod 2 which didn't work with all the old game modes, and removed every original game mode from Garry's mod 1, well that's what's happened here.

    Ладно, хорошо, выпустили свой недо-ремастер, но зачем основную классику было трогать?, выпустили отдельно, что тебе стоит блядь, теперь если хочешь поиграть именно в ту рарную классику, тебе придется топать на торрент и качать образ или репак от васяна.    … Expand

    It force deleted my original warcraft 3 game, removed all the saved data as well. From there I went to play and it crashed repeatedly for 5 hours. From there I got into the game and the skins for the building and characters are not completed. The game crashes about every other mission.     If I'm rating the original WC3, which was a great game, I'd probably be more generous but the fact is WC3:Reforged had a great 15+ year old game to go off of and missed the mark entirely. Not only did they release a game absent new features promised they removed or broke many of the original ones. THAT'S NOT ALL though, they also removed ( or broke) them from the original game. Why?     WC3R is a disgrace to the legacy of everything blizzard used to stand for. They failed to deliver on many promises made at it's unveiling 2 years ago. The game is a buggy, broken mess. They're banning players on the forums who help others with acquiring a refund. Reforged removed many of the popular features of WC3 classic that helped to make it so fantastic such as automated tournaments, a ranked ladder, chat commands and chat rooms, clans, customize able profiles, etc.

    While I don't want to say I could forgive these things I do think all of this could have just gone by without much fuss if it wasn't for their most egregious mistake. WC3R removed the classic game from existence. If you wanted nothing to do with reforged, or you purchased it and didn't like it and wanted to go back to the original, well you can't because reforged forcibly downgraded everyones install even if you didn't purchase it. The only way to play the original is to acquire the old disks and to keep the install as far away as possible from the current battle.net client and even then this only allows for single player.

    I'm beyond disgusted and appalled with blizzards actions here. Warcraft 3 was a legendary game that once stood at the forefront of the RTS genre. What it brought to the warcraft franchise as a whole can still be seen today almost 18 years later via WoW and it stood as a notable monument of old blizzard's legacy. Blizzard used to be a name that represented quality, care, and passion among the gaming industry. It used to be a name that you could trust not only to make a great game but to set the bar of a genre. Now the only trust I have in blizzard is that they will ruin anything they touch in the name of appeasing their investors and lining their executives wallets. I'm done. I've been a blizzard customer and fan since 1998, but this game has officially ended that.    … Expand

    With all the underhanded shenanigans with the marketing for this game, the user agreements, etc... this is an unfortunate betrayal of the original game and principles of Blizzard. Some of the art is very good, but honestly it is lacking for something put out by a major studio in 2020, and clearly shows Blizzard rolled back the budget at some point.

    I was looking forward to Warcraft 3 Reforged, I bought it a few days after it was announced , I got the Spoils of War edition to also get the WoW mount. In truth I was saddened when they announced that they wouldn't make any more updates to the lore to match current Warcraft history, I was very angry when they postponed the launch date and I was downright disgusted to see that no in gameI was looking forward to Warcraft 3 Reforged, I bought it a few days after it was announced , I got the Spoils of War edition to also get the WoW mount. The video from blizzcon demo has a cutscene implemented that looks nothing, I repeat nothing like the in game footage of that scene. It seems Blizzard went from being number 1 when it comes to game quality to being the worse, it focuses on fast cash and mobile games nowadays, in truth the only thing keeping me from refunding the game is the Mount I get in WoW, I do not advise anyone to buy it.… Expand

Что получил: Фанатский мод на текстурки для warcraft 3 от Lemon Sky , с кучей багов и зависающим меню за 1299 рублей. Все еще верю в Blizzard, что они в скором времени исправят эту ситуацию, а пока эта игра заслуживает    Что ожидал увидеть:

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
