    Blizzard, you used to be a game developer who made wonderful and thought out games planned out intricately for the community on way less of a budget then now. Your games launched messy but at least they were quickly fixed. You couldn't get a re-skin right? This game is a buggy mess of lazy programming, misleading from its actual product.     Reforged saved my life. It taught me everything. I was depressed, drank too much, didn't have a job, in and out of rehab, my wife left me and even took our dog fred . I thought i hit rock bottom. I didn't think anything could be worse. Then I played Reforged.

    I realized what rock bottom truly looked like, and man, it just scared me... Was this really the route I was going to go in my    Reforged saved my life. It taught me everything. I was depressed, drank too much, didn't have a job, in and out of rehab, my wife left me and even took our dog fred . I thought i hit rock bottom. I didn't think anything could be worse. Then I played Reforged.

    I realized what rock bottom truly looked like, and man, it just scared me... Was this really the route I was going to go in my life. I sat back, thought, and then I decided. I decided right then and there, that no, this was NOT going to be my life.

    Since the release, I've gone back to college, I have a great job, my wife and Fred is back home, I'm not drinking, life is just great. It's all thanks to Reforged for steering me back on the right path. For that, I'll never be able to thank you enough. All I can do for now is give you a zero, because if you weren't a zero, you never would have been my hero

    They’ve massacred my boy!
    I mean seriously guys, the game is so buggy I even wonder if they playtested it. Had a few hard crashes on my 2019 config PC. Good job activision

    Cancerous anti-creative terms of use.
    Disappointing delivery.
    Refusing to grant refunds.
    Banning people for helping others to get their refunds.

    This is so Activision that it hurts to see. But Blizzard...

    This is the textbook definition of false advertising, and what makes it worse is that its still being false advertised 3 days after released..... 4 hours of reforged cinematics? more like 2 minutes and a stale fight scene AT THE END OF THE GAME. Everything else is the same RTS still camera shots as they were 15+ years ago.     I haven't bought this game, but I am a victim of the merge of classic and reforged. The game runs horribly and many features the old client had is not present in the new game. It is unacceptable to destroy a product we already owned and force us into buying their garbage. To make matters worse, Blizzcon 2018 was just a big fat lie. The graphics is good but you ruined the UI and it is driving me crazy with all that microlaggs. This game is so rushed and unpolished.     This really is upsetting, This game should be pulled from sale and put back in development for at least another year to deliver on the promises that got people to pre-order this **** to begin with.
    not having re worked Cinematics completely deflated me, however Blizzard never stated that they would be remade so i guess that's fine.

    However whats not fine is the promised hours of remade in game cut-scenes, like the ones shown at Blizzcon of The Culling of Strathholm (which is still being used as part of the marketing to this day), but they decided to backtrack on that promise and not tell anyone.
    The animation cut-scene of the Arthas and Illidan fight is laughable, such stiff animations and models that look like toys,..............honestly this entire situation Pisses me off to No End.

    Warcraft 3 is without question one of the greats and influential games ever made and is one of (if not THE) Flag ship game and The release of REFORGED (REFUNDED).........just makes it seem like they didn't give a **** about it...................sad sad times............    … Expand

    I started my PC gaming journey with Warcraft:Orcs vs Humans and I've followed/played/obsessed over every Warcraft game since. I even currently play WoW. I am truly disheartened by the state of this "remastered" game. They managed not only to release a pathetic excuse for a game in this day and age, but they also managed to ruin classic Warcraft 3.it hurts.

    I had no expectations for this game and I was still disappointed. I miss using my old client to play the game and I miss the old Blizzard. My opinions would be echos of these other posts and i don't want to do that. I'm just disappointed that they ruined mine and from reading the other posts, many others as well.

    Total disaster of a game.
    The gameplay, graphics, sound and UI all felt super cluinky.
    Blizzard did not care for this game, inline with their recent products... will never support them again.

    Thats what they deserve.I am a Blizzard fan since 1999 but they lost me because of their games expansions and behavior.They do not even balance their games.They are just adding cosmetic.They killed WoW,Diablo and their community.Good job Blizzard keep up the good work.

    Long time Warcraft 3 & Frozen Throne fan.
    I have played the campaigns more times than I can count. From time to time I remembered this game and fired up a skirmish for old times..
    I was excited when I heard about Reforged and finally got the chance to play it on one of my friend's laptop.
    It's beyond dissappointing.

    Blizzard did the same thing that killed Starcraft 2 UMS map scene by pre-emptively claiming IP ownership over anything created with it and you can't make custom lobbies with maps you created. Absolute garbage, no one is going to want to make anything cool or creative with this like dota or tower defense or those weird dbz rpg games. I was excited and pre-orderer it over a year in advance and it's now the first Blizzard game I've refunded in 20 years of buying and playing every blizzard game.

    I can't believe everything they announced was a lie, the only thing this has got is the new models, which is literally the minimum thing a remaster should have, which Blizzard didn't even make but an outsourced company, so I don't know what Blizzard did in 2 years.

    Ruined my original Warcraft III Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne bought back somewhere in 2006. Moreover, full of bugs and false advertisment, - just a huge slap in the face of the fans. Blizz, you didn't have to "improve" anything but the models and graphics, maybe update the world editor so it would be easier to use and with more options to create entertaining custom scenarios

    Very disappointed. Warcraft 3 was one of my favourite games...they've ruined everything
    Warcraft III: Reforged is a complete mess. It's false advertised, no upgraded UI, very buggy and a lot of missing features.

    Made an account just to rate this game because people need to know what it's actually is. Bought the game on pre order so that i would have opportunity to play old warcraft 3 before the release of the this just melted down game without being reforged. I can't play campaign because most of the time when i launch the campaign it says that i lost and i can't go back to the old warcraft to play all the maps because there is no old warcraft with all of its functions to go back to play those maps. There are some maps that work, but because of the new policy most of the good anime and rpg maps aren't allowed any more. I would rather have payed money for a regular update to warcraft 3 frozen throne than to have this game released.… Expand

    DUMPSTER FIRE. This is a straight downgrade of the original. When did releasing broken, unplayable games become the norm for the gaming industry and become acceptable content for devs and publishers? I don't need to repeat what every other review for this game says so let me just say DO NOT BUY....

    Nothing is sacred anymore.
    Reforged permanently patches your 2003 CD key into an un-optimized, visual downgrade (with either lifeless chinese mobile game redesigns or lack of shadows in classic mode). With old battle.net gone, there is no longer a refreshable custom game list, no ladder, no theme songs in menu, and you're locked to your region through blizzard app.

    Repackaged game with minimal effort applied to enhancing game play of original. Obviously they can care less about the fans/customers...Biggest disappointment in the gaming world so far in 2020.

    They even deleted the old game. Your Battlenet will automatically update to this version which is broken. 30 dollars this is a freaking joke. The old Blizzard is dead, but to **** on their legacy like THIS? It's unbelievable.

    Blizzard should have canceled the game rather than angering the entire gaming community. this game is a disaster. promises were not kept. This game is not optimized, and it is not a remake but a reskin. ask Forgotten empire how to do the next one, or make a new game instead of trying to redo a game that was already very good as it is.

    Blizzard also forced players to switch to this version, by forcing a new update on the original game to be updated to the Reforged version. Effectively killing the game.

    While they say it would be fixed in time, the truth is: We payed the full price today, and we got a half baked game with restrictive policies that are completely outrageous    … Expand

Graphical errors on load screens. The fact that they have stripped away features like custom campaigns and single player costume maps was bad.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
