And while we are at it let's say we own everything that people create in the game, it's going to kill all creativity and will to make custom games, but at least we don't miss on the next Dota.     The fact that Blizzard released this so effin broken just shows they've lost touch with reality. I purchased 3 licenses ahead of time. One for myself, 2 for friends. And as everyone knows custom games are broken so I can't even rate what the gameplay is like. One thing I know, Ive had it with Activision/Blizzard. Activision has destroyed blizzard

    The only real thing on the game is the upgraded models. Even though they are cool when you zoom in, the new graphics create some weird feeling that the older version was better when you play. Somehow I find the units more difficult to differentiate from the enemies, etc. The buildings, at least for UD, don’t really give a better aspect to the game.     This game promised to recreate something many hardcore and casual fans alike loved dearly, promised new features that were not implemented, and they even stripped features from a game that was FINISHED OVER A DECADE AGO. I don't understand how you mess something like this up.

    This game does an injustice to a flagship video game that practically made an era. The amount of dishonesty and utter distaste Blizzard shows its fans these days is truly an atrocity. This remake/remaster is a disgrace to its legacy. While technically functional and not all that bad to a new user, any veteran that rode this horse when it was new should be reasonably furious.

    This is so sad, me and my GF bought this thing thinking it would be a stand alone product, but it actually rewrites the original WC3 files, we tried to get a refund but it was denied, now, the only way to play the original WC3 is to actually pirate it. what the hell was blizzard thinking?

    the home menu page looks 10 times worst and sluggish compared to classic frozen throne. nothing new in the game. just upgrades to the looks which some might even prefer the classic graphics.

    totally not worth $29.90.

    Maybe $0.99 makes more sense for upgrade in skins and added bugs in the game.

    DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. I REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

I have never played warcraft 3 before and was eager to try it after watching others play. The fact that it was released without any form of ranking system is unforgivable it basically means I will not win any games for a long time. I know knew I would suck but the fact that I cannot play with other new players is the worst feeling ever. I'm not going to try for a refund and risk being banned iLl just got on this and hope it gets better after some patches I will never preorder a blizzard game again.… Expand

    Unlike most, I’m not a big blizzard fan, I just wanted to try wc3 for the first time and try for myself this legendary game. I should had just got a second hand copy of the original game, because this game is simply unplayable, 8/10 times a match will crash and when it does work, the performance is unbearable.

    Just an absolute disaster. Janky animations, looks no where near the quality they promised at BlizzCon a couple years back. Zero effort in custom maps, so no luck there. Crashed multiple times during the single player campaign -- to the point where it was unplayable.

    Can't even get a refund, that's the nail in the coffin for me. Blizzard is dead.

    Want to like it. But it's very buggy and laggy. Twice in a single game lost control of all units and had to restart client.

    They could have also improved the UI. Really just a failing company looking to cash in on old IP one last time.

And boy was I glad that I didn't as this has a been a dumpster fire. However, when I learned that I could no longer use the original client I was quite upset as I have enjoyed getting on to play custom games with friends.     Very disappointed about this product, I bought WC3 and TFT when they came out back in the days and this is nothing compared to it but what shocked me the most is that they completely changed battle net and now there are no ranking system, stats or profile... why? Graphics are ok but nothing extraordinary, anyway I really hope they will hear the people and fix their mess but I'm probably dreaming.

    I didn't play warcraft as a kid, and then I wasn't so interested in it because of the graphics. But I loved WoW very much and was with him for many years. As a result, I'm learning about Warcraft remaster, looking forward to playing it and learning more about the universe and... disappointment.

    Reforged ? More like Downgraded. Apart from the new models (which admittedly are nice) they've removed so much from what it once was.
    The promises (as still shown on there webpage at this time) of extra content, redone cutscenes and the like are all not in the game.

    2) Menu UI, whole client is garbage. Everything is simplified as hard they could, while removing "good stuff" old game had. No rank system, no custom maps, no lan.

    3) Killed old wc3 tft client, can't play old game, u have to buy this **** to play old wc3 tft now.

    And there is more. For 30$ this is just pathetic cashscam, don't buy it.    … Expand

If you go to the main website, you'll still see that they list 4h + reforged cutscenes like the one we saw for Stratholme. Well after playing the Orc intro campaign till they reach Kalimdor and we start    Warcraft 3: Reforged - My deception!

    I'll make it simple and will give a thumb up to Midenrollos the Game Master who helped me refund the game via chat. Now let's talk about the game. If you go to the main website, you'll still see that they list 4h + reforged cutscenes like the one we saw for Stratholme. Well after playing the Orc intro campaign till they reach Kalimdor and we start with Arthas, nothing. The moment i end up reaching the mission from the trailer... i'm crying. Generic bugged "cutscenes" that was a copy and paste from the original. That was the start of me opening my eyes. Here is a list of all the problem I've noticed by myself. I'm sure there is way more issues with the game. Also, i'm stuck with 30Go of unplayable data to play my regular Warcraft 3 copy. I'm so damn sad. This was my favorite game with SC Brood War. Now, I have a salty taste. I can't even defend Blizzard on this one. CAD $ of this game is 49.99$ for the Spoil of War version i've bought the day they annouced it. Even played it on Blizzcon floor myself in 2019 and there was the Stratholme quest and all... If you never played the game and want to learn more about the campaign, it's "barely alright". You'd better play the old version that you can get a legit key for less than 10$. You won't run this version at 4k 144hz and uncap FPS. It's even locked at 30FPS. I really hope Blizzard give us information on what they will do. Never ever saw a blizzard game with a rating that low. I'll probably won't buy another product of Blizzard before release "Yeah on me this one".

    - No "REFORGED" cutscenes

    - Brightness is ridiculously too high
    - Horrible Shadders

    - No upgraded/switchable story that connect W3R to WoW
    - No added content
    - Clunky interface
    - Screen even more zoomed-in and can't zoom it out
    - Some horrible bug from previous build still there
    - Campaign bug "hero/minion stuck" in invisible items
    - Graphics lowered vs the one show on the trailer/website

    La única vez en mi vida que hice una precompra de un juego fue para Starcraft 2,que en su tiempo lo encontré buenísimo. Ahora esta fue mi segunda vez y ahora entiendo porque tanta gente que confiaba en su compañía no les estima como antes. No tienen vergüenza de presentar un Juego así e incompleto a todos los que les defendiamos. Jamás volveré a hacer lo mismo con ustedes.

    Ok..played original game back before wow and that game made me try wow. The new game has better graphics but lousey interface and bad connectivity also content held by Activision so no reason to make Activsion more money by doing the job of the programmers they fired. Played for one day. Not even worth the mount they us. Yes...game not worth 2 dollars so save your money.

    Game does not deliver on any of the promises made before coming out. Worst part is, the original game cannot be played as Normal anymore. Blizzard lied to us all...

    Was hoping it wouldn't be just a reskin before I bought it. Ended up wishing that it would be possible to make it just a reskin. The reskins are actually worse as well. If you play the Kr version, the translation and font choice is atrocious, making the sentences and names overlap with each other. Multi player is worse as well and the interfac is worse, honestly, I have to think reallyWas hoping it wouldn't be just a reskin before I bought it.     I've been playing games for more than 15 years.
    Warcraft:Reign of Chaos was and is still my favorite game.
    So when they announced Reforged, I was really looking forward to it and pre-purchased it. It's the only game i have pre-purchased. But it's been such a let down. So broken and buggy. They marketed it as an upgrade, but it IS a f**kin downgrade. So disappointed. :( What    I've been playing games for more than 15 years.

    Extremely disappointed. Blizzard was always one of my favorites, now how they've fallen from grace. I'd rather go play Fallout: 76. This game is a prime example of why you should NEVER preorder anything anymore

    - No new UI
    - No new cutscenes (just the old ones rescaled)

Me encantó desde que lo vi y con el tiempo descubrí el DOTA, que es algo que hasta el día de hoy juego y disfruto. Creí ingenuamente que el REFORGED sería un plus, un extra para revivir aquellos tiempos y disfrutar de la campaña y cinemáticas en HD.     game is definitely what we call thrown out midforging, you never ever put nonfinished sword out of the forge. this is what happened when you rush it to market. Lotsa bug, lotsa broken promised, broken bnet, and even affecting the real game. Blizzard is dead.

    How on earth is this game worse then the original like 18 years later!? Blizzard and EA in general are getting really bad.. just pumping out their yearlies with little to no changes (ea sports 2010-2020 very little changes) and throwing Star Wars titles around like candy. I'm done w them

    the latest and the worst lie of Blizzard, a big mess, a downgraded version compare to the original version, and none of new promised content is available except the new models. They should name it Warcraft III: Refunded, although it is also impossible to refund now.

    On an nVidia 2080 RTX Super the game stutters, crawls! The graphics are blurry (At the highest resolution setting and 120hrz! The game is ruined - most likely for a very VERY long time. If it is ever fixed, no one will really care by that point. Blizzard lost every single ounce    The game is complete garbage! Brilliantly evil of them to sell me WC3 for $60 the first time, then again, with new skins but less features for $40 years later. I’m not sure what I paid for other than cosmetics that really aren’t that noticeable unless you play zoomed-in. For $40, you could get a different, complete AAA game that is slightlyLifelong fan of Blizzard here. Love everything they’ve done....until this game.     I can't even begin to describe my disappointment. This was the game that made me a World of Warcraft player that sparked my love for RTS and when I heard they were giving it an overhaul with new UI, in-game cinematics, 4k resolution, new character models, and promised to flesh out more character stories I was hooked I purchased the deluxe edition and have been playing the beta. I regret toI can't even begin to describe my disappointment. This was the game that made me a World of Warcraft player that sparked my love for RTS and when I heard they were giving it an overhaul with new UI, in-game cinematics, 4k resolution, new character models, and promised to flesh out more character stories I was hooked I purchased the deluxe edition and have been playing the beta. I regret to say the beta had nothing more than the new character models and ended up being more stable than the game on launch. I unsubscribed from World of Warcraft at the end of Legion came back to disappointing BFA and left again. Blizzard feels soulless with massive content droughts with all of their products and is just not a company that screams passion I wish Warcraft 3 Reforged could have been a success like the Starcraft remaster was but it's not. So I requested a refund today and hope to receive money back within the next 72 hrs.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
