    This is an UNFINISHED game, full of bugs. Blizzard can't keep up their promises anymore. Half of the content that they have shown in 2018 is missing. What happen to you Blizzard, what is this garbage you call wc3?

    Thank God I have an old version backed up. I've been playing since release, and can't believe they would remove features from the existing copies. If WC3R is just an HD texture pack, why remove features like custom campaigns or even shadows? This was clearly rushed out the door. I'm not asking for anything more than to fix the old version.     The game doesn't work at all??!
    I can't play campaign, it simply sends me back to main menu. My game doesn't crash to desktop but option I choose sends me back to the main menu. Like a broken flash game in the early 2000s.

    I'm not sure how the streamers are playing the game??

    I don't know how do you degrade a complete wholesome experience. But, they somehow did just that. Congrats guys.
    Sorry to know that Blizzard still is not refunding some purchases.
    Don't bother buying this. Try to keep the old game. The slight visual upgrade is not worth it

    bought it at 12, installed 12:30, after 2 hours (where i FORCED myself to complete 1 mission) i applied for refund
    few days ago i hoped this game is first sign that mayby there will be Warcraft IV, now i hope it will never happen - not with this blizzard

    Let see, I bought the game on Wed, Jan 29, 9:46 PM and issued a refund at Jan 30, 2020, 12:26 AM.

    I waited for around 1 hour to download the 24GB. I started to play around 10:30 PM in hope to try the campaign - nope when I tried I got an instant DEFEAT screen. I tried 3-5 times and each time I got a DEFEAT instantly. There were few glitches but hell it was working now. There were some strange redirects each time you won but hell it's day two release there might be some issues, I understood, those can be fixed.

    Then after one hour I tried the custom game or to be exact I tried to create a private custom game, the client froze for 10-20 seconds and it didn't do anything. I tied this multiply times and couldn't play a thing. So the main reason I bought the game ( the Custom games ) were not working.

    So I come to the conclusion that this was not a small issue that the developers didn't see, they were fully aware that the game was not ready and they still published it at this state. For me this was the boiling point and I issued a refund instantly.

    I'm a web developer and I know that it's out of the question to deliver a broken website to a client. And to have the audacity to still charge them full price for it, now this is priceless. I can't imagine what were they thinking when releasing this... calling it a game will be too good for it.

    So to the developers working at Blizzard, please find a better company, a company that will take care of their users, a company that see more then the numbers at the end of the year, a company that will take their developer advice, because I don't believe that this is the developers fault here but the company money driven ideology.

    So the score given is based on the scummy practice of the company and the starterkit packaged they tried to deliver as a "game".    … Expand

    A complete embarrassment that is the perfect symbol for modern Acti-Bizz. Poor performance and connection issues, numerous broken promises and missing features from the original, and EULA changes that will stifle any creativity in custom games. This is just sad and angering to see.

    It is not the game that I grew up with from 2002. There are so many problems with it. The graphics are not easy on the eyes as one thing wrong. The big thing is Blizzard current policy regarding it all.

    Blizzard has ruined warcraft for my buddies and me. Now we are just playing my copy of the w3 classic using logmein hamachi. As long as i have my og W3 i guess we will still be able to lan. Maybe someday blizzard will fix this downward spiral of destruction.

    Just another failed attempt to repackage and resell my childhood back to me. Even though I have not played Warcraft 3 in years it breaks my heart to know that all the custom games I spent days of my life on in my teens have been snapped right out of existence by blizzard BS.

    WARCRAFT III is a 10/10 game for me, it is part of my childhood .

    I was a crazy fan of Blizzard, I own every Blizzard game collector's edition, but now The Reforged waked me up , it is a turning point for me as a Blizzard fan. I may not going to apply for refund.

    Incredibly disappointing. It’s such a shame this was rushed and not done in-house. The game’s festered with bugs, and has this unfinished look and feel which is really not what you’d expect from a Blizzard game. As a huge WC3 fan, this is just sad.

Launching a RoC campaign on classic engine: Hero's attack type "Normal"(130%dmg vs "Normal" def. type, less than 100% vs almost all of other types) It makes me think that "magic" type of dmg doesn't existCan't play it offline. I would just play custom games against AIs or the campaign, but you can't do that anymore. It's very depressing and unfortunate.     This isn't even a remastered version... I would play the old warcraft 3 over this but oh, you can't do it anymore..

    Activision cut the heart out of Blizzard. What a soulless corporate zombie you have become. False advertising, monetizing the creations of its customers and outright lies are why I am never buying an Activison/Blizzard product as long as I live.

    I really don't understand how they made a remaster with less things than the 17 year old game their remastering.
    Side note they patched the 17 year old game to be as **** as this "remaster".
    Side note #2 I can no longer play the 17 year old game I own, thank you Blizzard very cool.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
