    Aside of all known things, like missing features unlike classic game, false advertising and refusing to refund people and banning them, they also shut down the servers for classic Warcraft 3 and force everybody to update to worse Reforged version with classic graphics. Blizzard not only gave us a stinking pile of garbage but on top of that, he destroyed the original game by merging it with this poo-poo. I can no longer legally play the game I owned since 2005. It got taken away and replaced with bugged Reforged without textures.

    Not only that, but their new policy regarding custom games destroy any creativity there can be in the editor, because no matter what you do and how popular your map will be Blizzard owns it without question.

    Deforged right there, the remake was doomed the very second they decided to make it compatibile with the classic wc3, they even had some great futures during the beta that they had to remove bcuz they couldn't fix them (f.e. hero glow being separate toggle for all units, instead of being a part of model), lmao

In 2019, "Free Hong Kong", as the fight for freedom erupt but Blizzard, more like Activation as they are the ones who really ruin everything, all they care about is money, cutting back budget to fire employees but the new heads of the finical department gets millions in bonus. 2020, now we have the "Warcraft 3: Refunded edition", where its just a piece of crap. I'm looking forward to 2021, "Diablo 76", i guess you never disappoint if there is nothing left to be disappoint.… Expand

    I play Warcraft more than 20 years. My game and PC experience started with Warcraft 2 Tides of Darkness. I waited this remaster and preordered when it was announced. Why blizzard ? Why old features missed ? Why same cutacenes ? Why all that changed is character models. Nothing else. Other same except some features which was before now is cropped. Total fail . Total disappointed .

    The thing that angers me most is that the store pages for the WC3 RoC & TFT (Classic, 2002/2003) are pulled down.
    Essentially deleted, this ""remaster"" replacing them. But- for a long list of reasons -its done so much worse than what we had.
    Acting like the past 17 years never existed doesn't feel very good, does it?

    They really did a number on their fans. Broken promises and false advertising. The cutscenes are not reforged. They're nothing like what was shown in 2018. They even have a trailer on playwarcraft3.com showing a reforged cutscene that's not in the game! What even?! The new UI is missing too..

    But I found out it was real streamers, not fake accounts, and they where actually playing the real game.

As someone who grew up with Blizzard games, it is so gut wrenching to see what this once beloved company has turned in to.

    They tried to build hype by showing a whole new version of the infamous Arthas/Stratholme cut-scene in their trailer, only for that same cut-scene to be nowhere to be found in-game. None of the other cut-scenes were changed either, aside from the Arthas vs Illidan scene. The new UI they showcased is also not present, along with other changes that were promised, such as retconning the story slightly to be in more line with WoW's lore.

    Also plenty of bugs, because Activision Blizzard, a billion dollar corporation, is too cheap to spend any of the absurd amount of money they have to actually test their game properly.

    The biggest insult though, is that they ruined the original Warcraft 3 with this game, taking away features from the original, and shafting those who simply wanted to play the classic version of Warcraft 3.

    How can you care so little about your legacy, Blizzard? I get it, Daddy Activision and your shareholders are hungry and need to see more profits, but maybe.... just maybe, you could also earn profit (and respect) by actually making a good game! I know, shocking concept, right? Sure, you probably did make a killing from convincing us old fans of yours to purchase the game with your shady false advertising, but you have also made sure that many consumers like myself will not be spending another penny on your company. That is, until you can put aside your corporate greed and actually put time and effort into your future titles. I'm not even remotely excited for Diablo 4 at this point, especially if this is how you treat your legacy titles. No doubt that'll just be a cash grab too, right?

    I had high hopes for this game and was hoping this is Blizzard’s redemption, but was only let down by blizzard once again.

    The game dos not have master cut scenes or updated UI. The models are updated but you can barely tell. Stay away from this game!

    Не могу в это поверить. Эта игра всегда для меня была лучшей и многие теплые воспоминания которые хранятся в моем сердце связаны с WC 3. Когда я узнал что будет рефордж, мне просто крышу сорвало,ведь это же близзард они не могут взять и испортить игру которая и так хороша, но они смогли... И вся эта защита в стиле то что они отдали игру каким то китайцам делать, потому она и получиласьНе могу в это поверить.     I wish this score could have been higher as i grew up loving WC3, but i just can't support a company who blatantly lies and takes advantage of their adoring fans by giving them fake trailers for a game they can't play. If i wanted a reskinned version of the 2003 game, i would have downloaded a texture pack instead of shelling out $60. Very disappointing.

    This is how a giant falls. Blizzard used to be the masters of RTS, how could they have dropped the ball so badly? There is nothing of value here and even worse we can't seem to play Warcraft 3 original either. What a disaster.

    Preordered from watching blizzcon reveal. Oh boi was that a mistake. The game is a complete mess. I used to trust blizzard but no more.
    Really disappointed as I was really looking forward to this.

    Disappointment. That's what this game is and that's what the company became nowadays. I became a Warcraft fan when i was 6 thanks to the masterpiece that Warcraft 3 was. It was an absolutely magical game (it no longer is since Blizzard thought that changing the old game simultaneously with the new one was a good idea for some reason). It made me play World of Warcraft since Vanilla and iDisappointment. That's what this game is and that's what the company became nowadays. I became a Warcraft fan when i was 6 thanks to the masterpiece that Warcraft 3 was. It was an absolutely magical game (it no longer is since Blizzard thought that changing the old game simultaneously with the new one was a good idea for some reason). It made me play World of Warcraft since Vanilla and i never stopped playing it since then. But this might be the point where i just give up on supporting this company that's so deep in it's own ego that it can't function properly anymore. People loved Warcraft 3 like i did, the only thing they had to do was giving it better graphics, not stupid balance changes. Majority of the teasers were fake advertisements, what you can see on youtube is either not in the game or just a worse looking version.

    This is the point where i think Blizzard will never wake up. They lost their identity. They don't care about you or what you love, they just care about what's in your wallet. That's the reason why they are not allowing anyone to refund this mess, and that's why they ban anyone who try to help others to refund it.

    Don't know what else to say. I could, but its just sad to even talk about something like this after almost 2 decades of being a Blizzard fan. This is not the Blizzard i grew up with.    … Expand

    Since this launched it now overrides the classic Warcraft 3 games, meaning the older ones gets to inherit all the bugs and problems of this new title, and ever since launch I haven't been able to get past the login screen and "Play Offline" is greyed out.     Not to mention they also altered the rights of Custom Game makers which now, since this game absorbed the old ones, also applies to the originals, so they can own any game ideas because they missed out on DOTA, TD and others from the originals. Also some other things about forcing creators to comply with handing over documents and project files or they'll get banned if Blizzard wants them...

    Conclusion: Not only does this game not function, it also made the original games which I also own not function, so not only do you get scammed out of the $30 this game costs (and its regional equivalent), you also get scammed (whether you want it or not) by the $60 you paid for the originals. It also tries to steal everything from creators or they will face punishment across ALL Activision-Blizzard titles.    … Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
