    Missing half the features they promised, game runs like a turd even on a great PC. What happened to blizzard... things from them used to be a day 1 purchase, now its an avoid.

    If Blizzard had just said "we are not going to be able to deliver the game we had hoped, this will be a model and animation update like StarCraft Remastered", released that and NOT messed with the original game, then this release would have been fine.

    The game can't actually handle playing the Undead campaign on hardcore difficulty. I'm not even close to max unit cap but having to spam skeleton warriors early on as cannon fodder has the game lagging out.

    Either this game is broken, or my new Ryzen 3600X is a lot slower than the (18 year old) Athlon XP 2800+ that use to run this game without issue.

    Maybe when Blizzard is on the brink of bankruptcy. Then he will understand his mistakes. Reforged is a total mistake something like this should not see the light of day. Crossing the new version with the old version from 2002 is a major mistake.

    I almost wonder if Activision forced blizzard to publish this before it was ready. It really is a shame. At the rate Activision/Blizzard is going we could see the end of an iconic company in the next few years.

    Buggy, worse than original, lied to in advertising, and just a massive, massive slap in the face to consumers.

    I wouldnt mind blizzard **** up as much as they did if the Reforged didnt ruin ORIGINAL version with a mandatory update. Now the original version is gone and ruined.

    My game have been UPGRADED to Reforged! All new features are: -30bg of disk space but i'm not allowed to use the all new shiny graphics, campaign is now locked even though i have the original game which i can't install and play, new exciting bugs, TOS says that anything i do in the game editor now 100% belongs to Blizz and i can just **** off if what i do turns out being popular! What aMy game have been UPGRADED to Reforged!     Gonna give WC 3:R a 0 at the moment. Blizzard tried to reforge warcraft 3 and ended up with cracks all over and cause a catastrophic failure.

    I can't describe with words just how disappointed I am with this "Re-Imagining" as they put it.

    If this is what their imagination has become, I don't think they should ever make another game again; It'd be a waste of every piece of the world's resources they'd end up using on it.

Объяснял, что агрессивность монетизации будет расти, а качество продуктов будет падать ровно до тех пор пока коровы будут молча доиться. Авторы сделали это лучше меня.Я уже достаточно давно пытался объяснить друзьям, что владельцам компании, с определённых пор, стало насрать и на сами игры и на людей.     was a huge disaster due to corporate greed. graphic downgrade, cinematic downgrade from what we were showed in 2018 blizzcon. they remove the extra content to flush the story with the mmo and took away the new ui. unable to play past prologue with getting defeat screen after loading. the online part is completely unplayable. pretty much a cash grab.

    Although this game isn't a 0 or a 1, it is definitely deserving of such a score for how much of a slap in the face this game is. Not only did Blizzard make a worse game, but they butchered the original to by tieing it to this insult and claiming all the mods fans make for this game as their own, that is only the beggining too, it isn't hard to find other things Blizzard managed to ruin.

    The original Warcraft 3 was my childhood and this "Remake"has all but crushed what was once one of the best RTS games. And the greed to demand the rights to all custom game mods thats made is something that should never be in a game. to many bugs and false advertisment together with blizzard refusing refunds makes this the worst remake ever made. Go buy Age of Empiers 2: Definitive Edition instead

    One big disappointment. Not only does it fail in many aspects, but is a huge mess especially during launch. A lot of whats promised is missing and/or riddled with bugs. The game has many backwards decisions.

    Skip this game for sure or refund it if you can. Its sad to see games like this exist and they expect us to pay full price. Shame on you Blizzard.

    The funny thing is, with all the things they didn't remaster or straight up downgraded, you can really see how they really took all the effort they could muster to "remaster" the EULA as much as possible so you absolutely don't own anything when you create custom maps. I guess after all the budget went to lawyers they had no more money left to actually develop the game.

    I did not bought the reforged game, but as it has locked my classic War3, which is now part of it, this should not be a problem to note it.
    LAN removed, buggy interface, unwanted features from reforged, all destroyed my game.

    Warcraft III being one of my all-time favourite games, I had pre-ordered Warcraft Reforged, trusting that Blizzard would elevate that original game into modern times with improved graphics, comfort (online) features and whatever else they could think of.

    Sadly, I was proven wrong. While they did indeed "enhance" the graphics from a technical point of view, it does not compare to the    Warcraft III being one of my all-time favourite games, I had pre-ordered Warcraft Reforged, trusting that Blizzard would elevate that original game into modern times with improved graphics, comfort (online) features and whatever else they could think of.

    Sadly, I was proven wrong. While they did indeed "enhance" the graphics from a technical point of view, it does not compare to the overall art style of the original. It seems stitched together with some colours and textures out of place. The menues are lifeless and uncomfortable to use. Even the backgrounds (formerly animated in 3d) are now lifeless, too. More was promised and advertised, but almost none of that can be found in the final product. So far so bland.

    Concerningly, they not only didn't implement an exactly decent amount of features, they also decided to cut features out that had been in the game for almost 2 decades. For example, playing on a local network is no longer supported; neither is there an online ladder; not can you play custom campaign at all, not even the ones you yourself created (back then... those were the days!). So far so sad.

    But they managed to ruin all the fun of one of the best games of all times by introducing countless bugs, ranging from missing objects during the campaign, losing missions at random, creating lobbies will not work most of the times... So far so bad.

    What puts the crown on this disappointing delivery (or rather, the lack of such): with the release of "Reforge" the old, original WCIII turned into a copy of Reforged via an almost 30 GB patch. Meaning: introducing the exact same, numerous bugs. Stripping the beloved and critcally acclaimed classic game of features as mentioned above. And that is the saddest thing to me, personally. Not only did Blizzard screw up the "reforging" of an amazing game, no - they also ruined a timeless classic. Without anybody asking for that.
    While that last point of course does not have anything to do directly with Reforged, it is an issue that goes along with it.

    0,5/10 points.
    Half a point for the speedy refund (less than 24 hours). Rounded down to 0 though because of how they shut down the classic TFT over night. Huge disappointment!    … Expand

    My precious memory back when I used Pentium 4, Geforce 4 Ti and 500 dollar 15 inch 1024x768 monitor is completely ruined thanks to this horse feces of a "remaster". It is ACTUALLY better playing original Warcraft 3, which you can't do since they are MERGED now. Stay away from this piece of crap at any cost. Blizzard is shadow of it's former self...

I played at least 5 years of custom maps from TTW and TD defences to Dota! now not only they'r all gone, now its even impossible to create because of this damn policy updates. and what did we get a new 3D models for characters, and THAT'S it?? really? you charge us this much for 3D character models? its what you must do for FREE in classicOMG! I spent my whole childhood on WC3 FT and RoC. The game is extremely buggy and poorly done, and even the completed cutscene from the original announcement (and which is still on their product page!) isn’t in the game. It’s been replaced by something far worse. Blizzard have fallen far from their days of “trademark Blizzard polish”. This is yet another recent example of how poor their products are now.

    A good remaster should be such a flat improvement on the old game that it removes any desire to play the original for everyone but the most contratian of hardcore fans, much like the new Definitive Edition for Age of Empires II, which improves upon both the original and the HD Remaster in every single way, whilst retaining the essential spirit of the game.

    Reforged for Warcraft III does not do this. The new graphics look like they're lifted from a poorly made free to play Chinese mobile game, the QA is essentially non-existent and the EULA for the game is so cynical that I am sure it will remove any desire for new modders to work within it.

    It is a terrible game, worth all the disdain it has received, but to make things worse, it has made the original game worse. The original is tied to this new one, and many of the features the original had are completely gone to streamline it with this trainwreck. It is terrible.

    Whilst Age of Empires II Definitive Edition makes nobody want to play the original game because it is so good, Reforged makes nobody want to play the original game because it literally does not exist in the same state any more.    … Expand

    They are okay with this kind of cashgrab? Reforged? Dont make me laugh. And now custom maps maker are being screwed around. I want to create custom maps, but now i wont because they'll take it away from me. Shame on you blizzard, used to love your game so much.

    A huge letdown. I heard of the stories and decided to try it. Tried the campaign first. Got kicked to a defeat screen. Then tried to do a custom game vs AI. UI was awful and when I finally figured out how to face the UI I got into the game and realized that I could not customize my keys. Even worse is that the frame rate dipped anytime I made a unit.     Rarely can we say that they would have been better off not attempting anything at all, but that is exactly the case here.

    Gone are the days when Blizzard would rather scrap a project entirely instead of releasing a poor one and damaging their image.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
