Но время идет, Метелица выпускает все новые патчи, а игра преображается и действительно становится лучше. На данный момент она очень сильно отличается от того, что было на релизе и хотя она не стала на 10 баллов, но и 0.6 она уже не заслуживает, в данный момент игра на твердыеДрузья, прошло очень много времени с момента релиза и когда игра только вышла, я был полностью согласен с оценкой.     Graphics are barely beefed up, nothing like the concept trailers and art, I might have forgiven some of that with one of my favorite games, but I'd rather just play the original. You do not get to own mods, if someone makes a mod for your game and it gets really popular (DOTA) and you don't capitalize on making your own game (LoL, DOTA2) you don't get to go back and steal other people's work.

    I try not to overreact to bad decisions like showing footage that doesn't hit the game. I try to be reasonable in what I consider a score for a game. But this game straight up earns the big fat goose egg for two reasons.

    First off it blocks owners of the original game from playing it anymore as the old client is no longer supported. That's unacceptable.     But more importantly the sheer avarice of Acti-Blizzard of laying claim to all custom mods and game modes because they see how much money the MOBA genre has made after starting in the original Warcraft III. I encourage others to stop supporting Blizzard/Activision's systematic greed and exploitation of players and e-sports talent and perm-delete your accounts as well.

    Not what I paid for and lots of stuff missing. If I look at the game without comparison and pretend I don't have the original then coming in as a new player I would expect to give this a 4 and that's only for the story. The gameplay in this day and age is below expectations and there is just too much missing from this.

    After all the delays, one would have expected that Blizzard would at least take the time to polish it but in the end, Blizzard essentially sold this game with a fraudulent marketing campaign and did not deliver content that was advertised. Combine this with anti-consumer practices when it comes to custom maps, this game is a hard no-buy.

    I've never been big on the games Blizzard release however when I saw Reforged with updated graphics, new character models, proper cut scenes, more user friendly UI, etc, the game looked more like the kind of RPG I would play.     The game not only failed to release with many of the features that already existed in the old versions (ranked stats, chat lobbies, working custom games), but also failed to deliver on what was promised such as remastered cut scenes and a new UI.     It ends up the whole main menu is a web app running on Chrome. This thing runs worse than the actual game (likely because it's pegging an entire core of my CPU.)

    I played the un-reforged around the time it came out. Can't say the graphics got any better in reforged (maybe they have?) but the gameplay has held up well. Except the path finding, it's rather frustrating trying to maneuver individual units through a crowd.

    Blizzard also snuck in ToS that gives Blizzard ownership of anything you create with WC3:R. Pure trash.

    Was a masterpiece. But Reforged is a slap in your face.

    Blizzard just do the same like they do since 10 Years; money is all and quality is not worth anything.
    They destroyed Call of Duty, and they will do this also with WarCraft and other games.

Every custom game mode you put your hard work into is now the property of Blizzard, so no more interesting innovations on this front.     I remember spending hours in Warcraft 2 and 3 as a kid. I bougt a PC for this game :) Warcraft 3: Reforged is like a slap in face from an old friend :(

    The game itself has over-promised and under-delivered, which won't be the worst offense. The worst one is that this re-release it has ruined the original game from 2001 which now required a 22GB download to still play the exact same original game which was 1.5GB.

    Warcraft 3 was a great RTS, that inspired many mods, that later turned in to the standalone games. In essence, Warcraft 3 has shapes modern gaming industry.
    Now this is just a simple graphic overhaul. Indeed models look better then in the 2002 game, yet they still very outdated. There are also some new missions, though they are quite uninspiring, and playing them becomes a chore. I remember a Nozdormu bug that has not been fixed for six years from Hearthstone. and Diablo Immortal... about Warcraft movie... where is the continuation of the film franchise?     Would have given this a 1 b/c it brought new patches for the game, but the coming of reforge destroyed the original game as well, there is no original wc3 anymore, only reforge.

    This "upgrade" managed to ruin a completely functional, amazing game. Even if you didn't spend the money on Reforged, base WC3 is now practically unplayable. I've never heard of anything like this in gaming and this is the only product I've ever encountered that genuinely deserves a 0 score.

    1/10. Вот зачем такое надо было выпускать blizzard?! В декабре и так уже было ясно, что игра находится на стадии беты, и никакой месяц ей не поможет. Но вы тупо стерли приписку "бета" и выкатили её как законченную и доделанную игру и при этом еще попутно убили классический клиент. Как можно так обложатся??? Ведь можно было просто перенести игру на осень и доделать, и компанию в бета версии1/10. Вот зачем такое надо было выпускать blizzard?!     During the Campaign, some effects are missing during certain cut scenes, rendering them worse than they were originally (Arthas walking into the fog at the end of the Human Campaign in RoC, Tyrande collapsing the Bridge in TFT).     Ridiculous change in ToS, giving Blizzard ownership of any custom maps created by users

    In the first official statement from Blizzard after the release of WC3 Reforged, the developer team said the following:
    "We want to say we’re sorry to those of you who didn’t have the experience you wanted"

    This basically suggests, that the players didn't get the experience they wanted, because they had unreasonably high expectations and based them on what they themselves wanted.
    The truth is, that the players based their expectations on what was advertised back in 2018, and also based on what is advertised on the official site for them game to this day.

    The devs also said, that they announced, that the cutscenes from the trailer are related to "individual concerns", that they are not going to bother to address, and that supposedly they let the community know, that these wont be in the final product on some pannel on BlizzCon 2019, which nobody watched... yet they continue to use them in the trailer and the official site for the game.

    Clearly a case of false advertisement. 0/10 Total con!    … Expand

    It still routinely crashes when playing the campaign! Still doesn't have a new UI that is designed for modern displays!     If there were ever any doubt that "pro" reviewers are paid by publishers to write fluff pieces, this should settle it. Anyone giving this game higher than a 1 should never be taken seriously again.

    Now that Epstein is dead, Bobby Kotick needs lots of $$$ to build his own pedo island. Expect lots more cash grab trash like this from Activision.

    Unfortunately, Blizzard has gone completely downhill since Activision buyout and Metzen and Morhaime departure. It was expected but still feels extremely painful. Just don't buy their stuff ever again. This is Blizzard only in name and nothing else.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
