    This game is nowhere near as bad is it is made out to be, it is a renewed warcraft 3 nothing more nothing less and just as Warcraft 3 reign of chaos and The frozen throne were epic games so is this but with better graphics. My sole complaint would be that the unit movement has not been improved but it is not worse than it was in tje original games so that is not really an issue.

    It's a great game far better than most RTS games I Have played. I used to play the original back in 03 and for a while was my daily game. I played on and off over the years since always end up going back just for nostalgia. Reforged isn't the original but it's still worth the 30 or so bucks compared to many of the refreshed games that have come out.

    i played the game so i can tell that blizz is like a domina. you pay her to hurt you but surprises you with smelly old people farts in you face.direkt into your nostrils. but i wanted the whip so i got my money back... but this smelly fart odor will stay until the end of my life.

    What a money machine company Blizzard has turned into. May they die with this piece of trash. May they please take WOW with them aswell. The whole game looks like a Chinese franchise.
    Warcraft 3 from 2002 was a materpiece ahead of it's time..BLizzard has been ruined since 2012. What a joke.

    I give 5 because the campaign was good like the original version. So i wounder if a graphics update can be enough for to add reforge to this game. I wish the bug and the interface wil be updated and new features will be because this release is more beta than final game.

    The game was one of the things that was hyped to be the saviour of the RTS-genre. However, as can be seen, the game pretty much fails at even tying it's shoelaces before it stumbles out the door straight into a dog **** in front of all the other kids waiting for you to get into the Magic School Bus.
    It's like the little brother looking at it's elder sibling's achievements and using said    The game was one of the things that was hyped to be the saviour of the RTS-genre.     It's like the little brother looking at it's elder sibling's achievements and using said achievements to garner a reputation among the friends of the family but everyone realizes the whole schtick of the little tyke is akin to a fungus taking over the mind of an ant and ending a mockery of the being it once was.

    This extends to a lot of things, mostly the gameplay. The gameplay has mostly been kept in the same state it always was, no need to stray from the formula on that front. That being said, there's been tons of things that were unsalvageable during the delivery of this miscarriage of a game, mainly being various previous features being cut like clans, automated tournaments, chat room commands are broken, host bots got snapped, many servers were killed off and filtering regions is now a no-show. The game also crashes several times and various matchmaking issues
    exist, such as NO LADDER SUPPORT. No ladder support on a game that was popular because of that very thing, alongside custom maps that are now practically owned by Blizzard rather than you, and Blizzard gets to take all the credit too.

    The menus are very haphazard and unoptimized compared to the original, the free time HTML project of Chromium extended into an entire game menu rather than the placeholder experimental platform that it most likely originally represented. In the original the menus were very quick to do what they were supposed to do except in the rare instances where the game had to load a bunch of map info like in custom game selection or custom campaigns (WHICH REFORGED LACKS SUPPORT FOR!) while Reforged takes a second after pressing a button to even start moving, like you're connecting to a new website with every button press.
    Speaking of new, the game's changes to the storyline and cinematics, while not significant overall, very much annoyed an old-timer like me. It's not that I did not want any changes, far from it, the stuff they showed at Blizzcon in 2018 were brilliant looking and I very much enjoyed the new Arthas VS Illidan cinematic (I know there are some who didn't like it and I agree in some parts, it felt rather slow at points). It's just the changes that were made were so arbitrary and senseless as to seem like they were made just to be hip with the kids, not to mention help drive toy sales because MARKETING! And then there's stuff like Grommash Hellscream's name, originally being shortened to Grom by everyone except Mannoroth, being replaced in the audio files with a very abrupt "Hellscream" rather than the original line being left alone or maybe having his full name used occasionally. Get off his case dammit, the guy already doomed his entire race and owns up to it by the end of the original Reign of Chaos campaign, dropping his favourite nickname is like CJ getting called a busta. Especially by the one he calls "little brother". And to further elaborate on the abrupt part earlier, the voice lines were very visibly changed, as if it was a 5 minute hackjob in Audacity by the new intern with the buck tooth. At least Grom looks better than ever, which brings up my next point.

    The models, ironically the part that Blizzard did not make, were (And are) the strongest point of the release in the first place. However, even those are lacking in various areas, like previous attack animations either not correctly made or just missing entirely. In some areas they were not even utilized at all despite existing in the World Editor, it's like they ran out of time. What the **** were Blizzard doing the entire time, having a mini golf contest using solid gold golf-balls provided so generously by Daddy Activision while the sweatshop workers of Lemon Sky Studios got whipped in the building 5 blocks over so as to not ruin the view of the corporate overlords?

    Speaking of Activision, the PR surrounding the game has been absolutely awful, thanks in no small part to the decision to fire 800+ employees, most of them being from the PR department, so they've pretty much ended up saying what is exactly on the minds of the higher-ups about any setbacks. In the end, any positives Reforged has exist mainly because of the original, which now no longer exists due to the mandatory merged clients. Todd Howard, you're a bad man for making the "Broke Launch, Fix Later" culture that seems to be a constant in today's entertainment media. Oh and Kotick? your corporate wank dollars are in the mailbox, please report to the shareholders meeting in 30 minutes. And yes, you're still obligated to wear the latex suit, ball gag and collar, you know how they like that.    … Expand

    When I read other people's reviews, with a score of 0 points, it clearly smelled wrong. I thought that when I play, I will score about 5-6 if I feel the average quality. But, to my surprise, the game is even better than average quality. Actually, I tried to find fault at least in something, but I really liked it. I recommend this game for those who played W3 and want to replay it (like me)When I read other people's reviews, with a score of 0 points, it clearly smelled wrong.     I honestly played through it and had a blast! These bandwagons giving the game a negative score probably don't even own the game and are just doing it because of the Hearthstone controversy. I love the upgraded graphics units and current smooth game play. Yes, it had some issues at launch, but, come on! What game hasn't?! They are ironed out and game run fine!     I love the original and I love reforged. It’s the same core game with better graphics. The gameplay is exactly the same as the original, so anyone complaining about gameplay has a problem with the original too. People need to remember that it’s still run on the same engine so the UI will stay the same. But it still has all the features of the original and holds up to it.

    I made this account only to review this game. I never played original game but I loved that kind of games as a kid. And what can I say.
    As solo player I didn't notice any problems. Cutscenes were slightly off but they still were good. New models were awesome. Sound was good. And it was an interesting game. Slightly uncomfortable, of course. But not as bad as others writes it to be. Maybe    I made this account only to review this game. I never played original game but I loved that kind of games as a kid. And what can I say.

    I went into this expecting a remaster rather than a remake, and I haven't been disappointed because of that expectation. Stepping back into Warcraft III's campaign with a fresh coat of paint has been a nostalgic joy for me. The new character models are incredibly detailed and beautiful. It's a delight to zoom in really far and check out all the new little details. The mission design, storytelling, are characters are still incredible, even 20 years later. I'm the odd gamer who has never really cared about online multiplayer at all. I care about storytelling and the single player campaign, and because of this, Warcraft III is one of my favorite games of all time. IMO, the incredible single-player campaign is worth the price of admission alone.

    It's definitely not perfect: menus aren't really well optimized for ultrawide monitors, there are STILL occasional bugs, and it is disappointing that the in-game cutscenes aren't what were initially promised in 2018. I empathize with folks who really cared about the multiplayer community and were disappointed by what was removed. I really do hope Blizzard continues to make progress towards correcting their mistakes with more updates to Warcraft III: Reforged. But for me, a person who probably won't ever touch multiplayer, the new visuals and support for high-resolution monitors are reason enough for me to hand over the $30. I'm having a great time experiencing the campaign again.

    At the end of the day, if multiplayer is the main draw for you, you probably won't be pleased. If, however, you're mainly interested in the single-player campaign, Reforged is well worth your time (especially if you've never played it before).    … Expand

    Warcraft III was running perfectly on my Surface Pro! I loved the variety of custom maps i was able to play. So much different games and scenarios in just this one old but gold game.
    Now with the release of WC3 Reforged, the classic WC3 was removed from battle.net launcher. I am now unable to play the game i bought, as it was upgraded automatically to a new game I have to buy.

    - Lots of old features missing
    Warcraft III: Reforged is a complete mess. It's false advertised, no upgraded UI, very buggy and a lot of missing features.

    You'll need chrome to run this LOL. You'll also need a web browser to request a refund. If you've enjoy wasting money, this game is for you. TOTAL ZERO for wasting my time more than anything. Been a blizzard fan for years, but now I'm switching to reading books. Tschuss!

    Game doesn’t even come close to what they promised on blizzcon 2018, they promised almost a new game, with tons of added cinematics and fully upgraded graphics. Very disapointed with the final product. No new UI. No new cutscenes (just the old ones rescaled). Lots of old features missing.

    This game is a total lie from Blizzard, The UI is not the one we were expecting in the Blizcon in 2018, and the animation is not same as well. This is cheating their customer, and they also force all people who previously owned the old warcraft 3 have to switch it to boost the sales. it is totally false advertisement to the customer.

    Solid rework, makes the old game look nicer in 2020. The optimizations feels not the best in some custom games tho and there will be lag involved. If you played warcraft back in the days, I definitely recommend buying this one, the nostalgia is amazing.

    This game is fantastic! The Nostalgia trip was insane and finally being able to play with good friends was one of the best experiences I ever had.

    wow. this game is amazing. i booted up reforged and its the new graphics which i hate with a passion. couldnt stand the new art style. luckily you can revert to the old graphics with the classic art style. the intended style of art thats in WoW. the cinematics and cut scenes only match the old art style. nostalgia instantly after changing to classic. TY for doing this

    I had fun playing this game and got 40 plus hours of entertainment. It's probably nostalgia that helped with that, but its such a good story and reminded me of when I played Warcraft back in the day. I also played recently, so many the bugs were fixed that some people experienced.

    i love it as much as warcraft 3 original , its the same thing with higher quality , i loved the game when they hear our problems and fixed them .
    the only problem is that all cinematics are all not changed , i think 60 - 70 percents are changed , and you have to see 40 - 30 percents of all cinematics in low quality .
    i played over 300 hours and i dont have any problem with matchmaking or    i love it as much as warcraft 3 original , its the same thing with higher quality , i loved the game when they hear our problems and fixed them .

    Altought Blizzard didn't respect the expectations on this game, like filling it when the complete lore of the Warcraft universe ('till WC The Frozen Throne ofc), and some minor bugs that were settled up after some months with some patches, the game is enjoyable. The units are really remaked from 0, some are fine some are ugly, in my opinion, but still different feeling from the previousAltought Blizzard didn't respect the expectations on this game, like filling it when the complete lore of the Warcraft universe ('till WC The Frozen Throne ofc), and some minor bugs that were settled up after some months with some patches, the game is enjoyable.     Warcraft III is my favourite game of all time.
    I have been playing custom maps pretty much since it first released.
    Although I don`t understand the reason for redoing the voice acting, and I quite liked the original voices, I`m sure I`ll get used to it. Maybe they could include the old voice acting as an option, that would be great. And I`m not an expert but maybe the engine could use    Warcraft III is my favourite game of all time.

Co prawda nie ma żadnych nowych misji = są tylko te z oryginalnej gry + dodatek ale nadal jest kupa zabawy, Grafika i rozdzielczości obsługiwane przez grę zostały dostosowane do roku 2020 i są naprawdę bardzo ładne. Muzyka jest dokładnie taka sama jak w oryginale. Są problemy z automatycznym odblokowywaniemBardzo dobry remaster kultowego już "Warcrafta 3" z dodatkiem "Mroźny Tron".     Remastered medium quality. No new UI, cutscenes. Just new textures. But, quite playable. In addition, support for the game is practically discontinued.

    Having just played diablo 2 resurrected(the name fits well, because it looks like they really just resurrected all characters from their long forsaken tombs) I just cant give the WC3 worse rating than that ungodly eye-bleeding nightmare. 5 out of 10 just for non-censored approach. The last two games I adored are remastered, so now I just say farewell Blizzard go tk hell

    I thank blizzard for updating warcraft 3, which included better craphics, faster pings on bnet. Ability to play vs other regions (yes I sometimes hate it but it brought a lot more players into ladder).
    Some improvements was really small like showing mana bar and levels. But most importantly they didnt change the recipe too much so many tactics are still viable that were on the past.

    Because of people reaction the developers were overwhelm with negativity unable to create ladder stats and vieable player profiles.

    Because I have played this game since release of tft and took this craphical update with passion I am disappointed by peoples rejection and it feels like its being also targeted me, I cant believe how many people are out there who completely and utterly disagrees my point of views and opinions..    … Expand

    I don't know how to reinstall the classic version, because I don't have the CD key anymore. Though I really just want to play classic Warcraft 3, the one I had already installed on my hard drive for years, instead of Reforged.

    I can entirely see what's going on here, and unfortunately there's not really a lot that can be done in this particular scenario since you don't have the license anymore. If you can find the CD key you can reinstall things with the CD, but the only supported game client is now Warcraft: Reforged. This is because this update is also the most Because of that, if you'd like to play you either need to find the old CD or purchase Reforged, which will let you play the modern version of the game with online features, etc.

    I sincerely hope that this experience with Blizzard Entertainment has been informative, if not helpful. If you need help with anything else, please feel free to reach out and let us know.

    So I have to rebuy the game I already bought, installed, and played for years just because they decided to force some dumb 30GB "reforge" I couldn't use anyway, and never bought nor wanted since before it released. WTF. They literally just pushed an update, then stopped me from playing both versions. The launcher recognizes I have the game, it knew I did enough to force the Reforged update, but apparently they don't, and won't let me play unless I buy it again or get the CD I don't have, even though I installed it years ago and was able to play it for years. I'm not giving them any more of my money. I would literally have to pirate it so I could play the game I legitimately bought. It's not good business practice to stop people from playing an already bought and installed game. This has to be violating some law. I literally got robbed.    … Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
