The game isnt "bad" but I am so frustrated with blizzard I wanted to give it something lower than 0. So I chose 10 since it starts on the other end. If blizzard doesnt give a s*** about their game or fans, I wont give one about reviewing their broken product… Expand

    Я как казуальный игрок в кампанию и не особо ждущий чего-то нового типа перепиленных синематиков (а говорили, что он будет 1, но вроде как битву с Иллиданом тоже сделали) играю и не вижу багов, вылетов или еще чего-то. Я ждал ремастер, я его получил. Единственное голос Артеса не очень и скролл карты мышкой какой-то тупой, скроллю стрелками на клаве.     Игра не достойна таких заниженных оценок, что ставят пользователи. Игра стала жертвой плохой PR компании и фанато, которые вечно не довольны. Да, у игры есть небольшие проблемы, типа редких просадок фпс. но в основном ни с чем другим я не сталкивался. Приятная графика, правильная локализация.

    When every aspect of your game except the graphics is inferior to a version almost 20 years older, to say it's "extremely disappointing" is an understatement.

    Una pietra miliare, non c’è molto da dire. È vero le aspettative son state in parte tradite e gli errori di comunicazione si pagano, ma rimane certa l’eccellenza di un prodotto che ha fatto la storia.
    Si poteva/doveva fare di più viste le acque in cui naviga l’immagine di Blizzard? Assolutamente si.Il prodotto è da 0? No.

    I get that people were promised more (cinematic cutscenes, interface, balance changes, etc.). But if you imagine for a second that you have never heard about these promises and just pick up the game to play an HD-enhanced version of one of the best RTS titles ever created...     So far I've played through the prologue, the human and undead campaign. Apart from an instant defeat bug at the beginning I've yet to experience any bugs in the campaign. I think that I've also gone through all the actual 'reforged' missions: Stratholme, Dalaran and    I think it's unfair to call this game a travesty. I think that I've also gone through all the actual 'reforged' missions: Stratholme, Dalaran and The Sunwell. These three were also my favourites, mainly because they were new and fresh.

    That feeling I had at those three missions is something that is missing during all the other missions. I've already played through those various times and if I wanted to, I could've gone through the same experience with a fancy modpack. There are plenty of mods that alter the game just as much as Warcraft 3 reforged does.

    It is a shame, really. I had such high hopes for the reforged aspect of this game. I didn't really need or want deep lore retcons (never said anything about this on official forums either), but I enjoyed the idea of minor changes and additions. I mean, why would someone complain about an extra mission that fleshed out Jaina/ Sylvanas a bit more.

    Maybe Blizzard will still add some things (hopefully), to undo the damage they've done so far. Blizzard has stated before that they decided not to alter anything based on the response of diehard fans, but this was 2 months before release. I am not sure whether or not they said this because they ran out of time and they decided that the diehards were easy scapegoats or that they legitimately thought it would be better to leave things as they were.

    As I've mentioned before, the game still feels like Warcraft 3 and that's why I've decided to keep the score at 60. I'm not going to give the game a 0 rating because I feel betrayed by Blizzard (nothing is worth a 0, just as nothing is worth a 10). I am still going to judge the game for what it is, the game. I've barely had any bugs and I've been playing Warcraft 3 again after quite some time. It's not what we expected and Blizzard certainly didn't keep their promises, but the game is 'ok'. This 'ok' is leaning more towards a mediocre, but I still manage to enjoy it.

    Ignore most of the reviews on here, as most were made by angry fans (which is actually understandable) who feel betrayed. Form your own opinion and let's just hope that Blizzard will not abandon this game and provide us with the necessary updates.    … Expand

    An absolutely stunning REMASTER for those who did play the original wc3. Nowadays young guys who were born like 2-3 years before the original wc3 was released gave this game a rate below 1. They wanted a REMAKE while it was stated it was going to be a remaster. Just deal with the fact that the game is great, graphics is exceptional and even the sound in the main menu is all the sameAn absolutely stunning REMASTER for those who did play the original wc3.     The graphics are great, they saved the original atmosphere. But that’s it. They promised a lot of things in Blizzcon, yet they didn’t do none of them.
    Still I like the visual part of this game. (Not Jaina and other characters)

    I am a very long Warcraft 3 veteran and played this game since its original release back then, I've grown up with it and I feel like its part of me as I surely played this game the most in my life and had amazing memories and made friends that I even visited in real life. I played amazing vanilla games, superb custom games and just absolutely stunning custom campaigns where I replayed the Sunwell Plateu raid or ICC with all the iconic voice lines and everything. Mods kept this game alive for such a long time.

    However, its all gone now. To be honest I absolutely dont even know where to start this, a year ago they updated the classic game and its battle.net/multiplayer nicely only to remove it now and force everyone into their new battle.net that DOESN'T has the features anymore they officially ADDED a year ago in a REMASTER like cross region play which is very important and this type of behavior essentially happend with the entire game as many parts are gone and not working - they simply released an absolutely unfinished product and DOWNGRADED everyone. There are big lists of whats missing but for example not even leaderboards or anything as simple as that is working while custom maps mostly gets deleted now and custom campaigns aren't even there anymore which was this games soul and beauty on top of an massively awesome foundation. Sad.

    Even the Reforged graphics are worse because they are not finished - the animations are sometimes copy-pasted and not as diverse as in classic. Classic Warcraft 3 had shadows, to enable those now you have to buy Reforged which makes no sense, they are even using scam practices now to force you into it.

    As a long long fan this is tearing me apart and im very sad about all of this, I never gave up on the game and I always had fun and joyful moments for such a long long time. Farewell, Warcraft 3 and **** you Blizzard for even DOWNGRADING MY GAME OVER 10 YEARS LATER AFTER MY ORIGINAL PURCHASE. Oh, and thanks for baiting me to spend 30€ on a downgrade cause the updates you did to prepare Classic to Reforge got rolled back for no reason whatsoever.

    This was a complete and utter scam in the worst way possible up to date in gaming history, we had false promising and marketing before but never again has your game that you already owned even got massively DOWNGRADED in the process.    … Expand

    Whether they meet up with the expectations or not. The game is not that bad like most of the reviews tell us here. Ok, those nice cinematics etc.. are not in the game. But it's still a trip down the memory lane. It's nostalgia with better looking graphics. And that's what matters for me. I'm really enjoying the game now, just like i did when the original game came out 18 years ago.

    Even with a beefy computer it still ran horrible, unplayable mesh of a game.
    I wouldn’t have minded waiting a year or two just as long as the thing worked!

    So i tried to play this remake. And its not that bad. I found only 1 bug for now. Campain looks good. But removing old options its weird for me. But i hope blizzard will do something with that.

Partly the community didn't want that much changes and they listened to them.
    I think a lot expected a fresh new triple A title or something. it's not, 17    Still an enjoyable nostalgia trip to play this again with enhanced graphics. Sure i was a bit disappointed when blizzard gave us the news in December that this game wasn't going to be what they intended at first, but offered refunds. Partly the community didn't want that much changes and they listened to them.
    I think a lot expected a fresh new triple A title or something. it's not, 17 year old unique RTS style game.

    tbh I'm mostly giving this a 0 because I want to see how low it can go. I do think what Blizzard did was unethical but also everyone who complains about a refund should look in the mirror and ask why they couldn't wait like 5 f-ing hours before buying it.     All that being said, as undercooked as it is, I am enjoying Reforged. I fall into the category of being mostly satisfied with the new graphics. It is already a game I love and spent my childhood on, and I get to re experience it all in a new coat of paint. For this I am happy.    … Expand

    Thank you for not breaking the game's balance, pathing, and everything that made the original so good.

    I've been a beta tester. I must be honest - I disliked the experience. It was laggy, not responsive, and I didn't like the re-textures, especially the contrast seemed worse than the old version.

    But now reforged is out, and my games are smooth. Gone is the lag and the game feels responsive again, like it should.

    And the graphics are growing on me. After 17 years of looking at units a certain way, that influences you. Now since release date, I've been playing a few days, and I'm looking back at the old version (which was still installed on my kids PC), I can only now really appreciate how much this update was needed.

    As far as the campaign, I don't really care about it myself. I've played the campaign as a kid, I still remember the story. I'm excited that my 10 year old can now experience it. And even if we didn't get all the cutscene updates you promised, it's still an upgrade. My 10 year old can now experience the campaign as I did so many years ago.

    I'm hoping you reconsider the copyright ownership rules on custom games, and re-add a few features like commands, clans, and tournaments.

    If you take the emotions out of it, this game is even better than the original in many ways, and all those leaving 0 star reviews is a sure way Blizzard kills off investment in this game - which is a shame, because I love this game and I want it to succeed, I want new players in the game.    … Expand

    Certainly not what was initially advertised in 2018, but then again what was expected after the later announcements and the outcry in the blizz forums to not change the game too much. Personally I didnt encounter that many bugs but then again I only got it for the SinglePlayer bit of it and honestly for half the price of a full game, it's worth buying

    Не все так плохо как вы говорите, и багов тоже не нашел за 20 часов игры ни одного не было. В плане геймплея у меня игра работает хорошо.

It's still the game that lead to MOBAs and so many other awesome custom modes... AND IT LOOKS better... It's integrated into bnet now, it's got better social features. Maybe slapping a $30 price tag onWhile it's not "everything that was promised" ... It's not "new igc's and cutscenes"... But COME ON!!!?! It's STILL Warcraft 3... I feel if you like RTS's you are still better off going back to buy Warcraft 3 and it's expansions and play through them. Yes, the graphics and such are out of date, but the story, the campaigns, and controls are overall better than it's the re-release in Warcraft III: Reforged. If Warcraft 3 had never existed and Warcraft III: Reforged was a standalone game, it would be about a 7/10 (so I reviewed it as such), In no way is this game a 0/10 as I've played 1000's of games much worse and even they are rated 5-7 out of 10.… Expand

    Still an awesome game. I never got to play all the way through the original so I love finishing the game. The interface could use some tuning it makes the game very hard. The bugs that cause it to crash are a pain but usually only have happened to me at the very beginning of the mission before it starts.

Yes, it would be very nice to have those new cinematics and dynamic cutscenes, but the current ones are pretty decent aswell. Problem is with multiplayer, because there are not any ranked modes now, but that will be added in future patches i believe. So for now 7/10 andIt is not perfect, but it is still very decent.     Very fun campaign so far. Difficult on Hard mode so it keeps me entertained, have to employ strategy or else you will get wrecked... I don't see where all of the hate is coming from. It's $30. I wouldn't expect to have no bugs on release. Every video game does. Im certain the small bugs will get fixed in time. The world is too entitled nowadays.

    Absolutely amazing what Blizzard did with this game, i played Warcraft 3 since 18 years and with this graphical overhaul i can happily say that Warcraft 3 made it into the modern age!
    I am sure that Blizzard is going to fix all the small faults this game has right now in coming updates and maybe add even more!

    I think this game is fantastic and haven’t had any issues at all. The story is great, the graphics are great, the voices, music and textures are all great. The features that are missing have a coming in the future from what I can see so I’m not sure what all the extreme negativity is about.     Bad rating caused by low specs devices, cannot handle requirements so they rate it 1. Yes still some glitches but it’s playable and looks amazing. Looking forward for B.I.G. updates and optimizations. 10/10 i5/gtx1060/4GB

    Just to counteract some of the salt. None of the "problems" with the game are a big deal. The game got a graphical update which is the only thing that was really promised. The Culling trailer clearly stated that it wasn't final, and we all know that means it will never look that good. Everything else can be worked out through bug reports and patches...

    The fact that this game is getting the reviews that it is is ridiculous. There is no way that this is a worse game than Fallout 76 or Anthem. I have spent many hours playing through the campaign and I have had a blast.

    I have experienced no technical issues either.

They've improved the graphics re-balanced the and revived the servers for gaming. That's a big enough improvement over a game that they are making for hardcore fans, I don't think they were trying to make a lot of money on new players for old RTS games. I don't understand where the scores of 0s come from. I bought garbage like Anthem and tried my best to play some of that boring **** game and still don't think it deserved a 0. You guys are gonna **** over Blizzard like this and thanks if there's no more Blizzard, then we won't be getting all these games we loved since middle school.… Expand

    The game is perfectly fine. Everyone complaining about it has a bone to pick with blizzard. I grew up on warcraft 3 and the updates are good and they were careful to stay with the spirit of the game. Most of the graphics updates are phenomenal. I would've enjoyed the cinematics getting updates all around but i can live without it. Havent run into a single bug.

Да, но на новом движке и тогда без «старых кастомных карт, минимум изменения геймплея, вроде анимации атаки…». С чем соглашусь, несмотря на то, что у меня всё норм идёт как и у ближайшего окружения, на стримах видел вылеты и просадки в кат сценах. Это недоработка, которую нужно править. В итоге: для меня игра на 8 баллов минусы, за ностальгию по старой озвучке, за слишком малый реткон, за отсутствие кастомных компаний на старте, за отсутствие рейтинговой системы на старте. Думаю, слови я много багов поставил бы 6,5-7. Но никак не 1, 2 или как некоторые 0. Несмотря на то что для меня реальная оценка иная, я поставлю в рейтинге 10 т.к. ситуацию с необоснованными набегами нужно исправлять.… Expand

When reading the negative reviews, I can't help but be reminded of when Aliens: Colonial Marines hadIt's more or less what I was expecting or hoped for - a upscale version of my favorite game as a kid.     I grew up playing the original war craft 3 game, and quite frankly am just happy that this game now can evolve with the times. Not happy about blizzards new ownership rights over custom maps! Confident imporrvments will be made

    graphics of the heroes, units, and creeps are spectacularly better than the old version of the game and bring it into modern times. As can be seen there are lots of stubborn idiots that would rather play an older version of the game rather than move forward and allow Blizzard some leeway to fix any performance related issues.

Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
