    It's not that bad. I don't care about most things people are complaining about, but there are a couple obvious bugs that need to get fixed. The most important one is somehow they screwed up sound playback. It's important that sounds get played when units are created and action is happening...which is not happening correctly. Where is the online ladder for competitive play? What? Other lazyIt's not that bad.     Bad that they not added that cutscenes that they say (MAN my arthas died on cutscene with Uther on city defence fighting with Ghoul and after that talked with him from GRAVE)
    Very bad - that russian Arthas come to broadcast with flu
    But game almost good, better than wc3. I passed 3 first campaigns for now in hard mode and have very good game experience! Stay 510 rotten tomatoes for support Blizzard. I know that they can fix some things.    … Expand

    I know everybody is upset about this game but as a real review. Look, this thing definitely could use a spit shine. Is the game worth 30 dollars? The game is actually worth 20 bucks at best in its current state but i have confidence that if they smooth out some of the issues the game will become pretty solid. I have enjoyed my trip down the nostalgia highway, i even bought the game afterI know everybody is upset about this game but as a real review. Look, this thing definitely could use a spit shine.     Think people should stop complaining about some stupid cut scenes... great game, more or less same game as before but "reforged" with new graphics.
    Only "problem" for me and why i dont give it 10 is there are no way to use cheats in "single player" custom games.

    The game is acceptable out of old statures. The graphics are good and much better from before and the price-ing gives a promise of improving the game in the years to come. The new module of the game is made to comply with the old one that still exists and is awaited to be improved by its developers in the years to come.

    War3: R is acceptably polished, and yes, it has some bugs here and there, but it's nothing that can't be fixed. After all the garbage that we've purchased from EA and others, pre-alpha level of optimization and so forth, this does not surprise me, neither does it make me angry anymore. It is just what the game industry has become, and I doubt that will change anytime soon.
    I decided to fully enjoy a trip down memory lane, played the campaign and loved every damn second of it.
    Don't need fancy new UI or anything, I was hoping for a remastered old game, and it is what I received. As far as I'm concerned, ignoring crappy promises, the game is what I was expecting, and it delivered what I wanted from it quite well    … Expand

    In my opinion a lot has improved from the original game but the lack of clarity and the downgrade from what we have seen at blizzcon will make me put 5/10. Still this game isnt trash, the 0.5 rating is more for the meme because the story is still flawless

    Been playing the game and I just don't get the uber negative reviews. It looks and plays way better than it ever did in glorious widescreen with updated models. Did I get a different version than the rest of the people? I am currently only playing campaign again so I don't know about the multiplayer problems.     Don't have problems with the game so far. A bit sad of missing the mmr and old profile menus but those will be patched in later on. Rather happy they didn't touch the original story or voice acting since it's still better than the storytelling they do in wow for example. Glad they kept old cinematics and upped the quality. Overall I'm happy with the product

The graphics upgrades are decent, and the remastered levels in the campaigns have fantastic new aspects to them. The AI is improved as well. But the game is incomplete.     I love Warcraft III but this "reforge" does not live up to expectations. Not only is it just a reskin but they removed core multiplayer features. The cutscenes are lacking as what was shown in the marketing, and there are even technical issues on my high end computer stutters and runs at low framerates for a few seconds.

    People are so underrated this game just because they got something against Blizzard.

    The game are no where perfekt no, we did not see the new cutsences, but unless that, the gameplay is fine and the improved graphic are not the worst in the world. Im glad that I bought this.

    I remember the good old day of my youth fondly playing Wc3. .... Pre ordered this game and realised what a mistake I made. It is essentially a DLC graphics/texture pack.
    It is not all about the bucks.

    It seems that they cut corners when it came to big game improvements and created various inconveniences for old Warcraft 3 players (even if you don't buy the Reforged version). Also, there are bugs (only encountered one so far, although I am sure there are more).     The game is normal. It is bad that the Blizzards did not announce loudly what will be changed, but they did EVERYTHING they said.
    This whole wave of negativity is **** I put 10 out of 10, since the yoke is worthy of 7-6 points in the overall result. And all envious tongues can continue to drive a flock of sheep, and sheep can continue to bomb (as in the game itself^^)

    Warcraft 3 Reforged is a welcome enhancement of the art of this amazing RTS story. The high fidelity art revamp does a lot to make the characters feel more real in in the world of Azeroth. They look less cartoony than the original game, which makes the cutscenes more fun to watch. I'm excited for custom games, and hope the EULA change doesn't bring it down too much.     Pre Ordered the Game 2h before the launch. Was a Chat game for 2 1/2h straight before I went to sleep. Bugs, Glitches, random Game crashes, hard FPS drops. Tried to refund it on 31.01 but had "to much game time" on it, on 02.02.20 I got another Customer Service message to try the refund again :) and look there THE REFUND WORKED.

    Would Pre-Order & Refund it again 10/10 10/10 would    Pre Ordered the Game 2h before the launch. Was a Chat game for 2 1/2h straight before I went to sleep.     I have to give this game 10/10 because it finally made me feel something in the past 5 years. It made me feel regret. And unfathomable rage. I hate everything I come in contact with and have been feeling a desire to destroy unlike anything I have ever experienced before. But because I now feel something other than the numbness, I owe this Warcraft 3 Reforged my whole life.

    The campaign seems to play just fine. I haven't tried the multiplayer or custom maps, and I'm not likely to. The graphics got a slight upgrade. They did not deliver on the cut scenes they promised. Over all I'm not overly impressed. It feels like a mediocre effort, not worth the cost.

    Blizzard should be ashamed of themselves.
    - The game doesn't work. (if you get in it barely runs)
    - They lied about new UI (Not there)
    - They lied about new cutscenes (Not there)
    - They took out old features.
    - Now if you come up with a creative idea for a new gamemode and you make it, they now own it.
    - They ruined the old game by making the old game share client with the new "Refunded" version.
    I could make the list longer but I'm not gonna bore you anymore.

    Complete trash disconnects every other vs. Game. Spend 45 mins playing to win only to disconnect a few minutes before you do. It was broken still in the beta why was it released? I would have preferred waiting to wasting time.

    I mean, warcraft 3 was a big game 'cause of the map creation options, don't letting the game get bored even after long periods of time, but... Why the mode creation feature get this "nerfed"?

    Yes, that was not what I expected. But i really love Warcraft.I do not mind the money spent, since I got the opportunity to go through all over again.I would like to add new plots and scenes. It will be a pity if this all ends.

    I would rate it at a 5-6 if it wasn't for all those cancelculture 0 votes, so i'll give it a 10 to counteract the crappy votes out of nothing but anger.

    The release was **** and they lied, the game is still no 0, but maybe that'll help activision to realize that people aren't as dumb as they think.

    Number one for me is that mapmakers' work is owned by Blizzard, I gawked at the word "exploit" referring to what Blizzard is able to do with these hard working, content creator's maps. A huge injustice to me was that the work of content creators which created maps before reforged is now owned even though they never EVER agreed to the new terms of use because the original game is merged with reforged, and yet Blizzard is now claiming ownership of THEIR games. So much of the content that made the original game so great has been cut, clans, profiles, custom campaigns, it goes on; a hilariously long list of cut features.

    The Hong Kong controversy has undoubtedly played a role in this awe inspiring low score, and frankly makes me doubt myself for even giving it a 5, which in most cases would be considered a low score. What is happening in Hong Kong is not a matter of "politics". It is a matter of survival for these people. Blizzard banning a player is taking away that player's protection. If no one cares about that player, why should the government worry about **** executing him in the street. Blizzard's ban could very well have been a death sentence for that man. Get your silver spoon out of your ass whoever was in charge of that ban, this is not politics, not "democrats vs republicans" it is life and death. Nothing could be more telling of the mindset of those in charge that they are worried about losing money instead of worried about human life. I hope whoever did that burns in hell for what they did against American principles of the right to life and free speech.

    My experience the first day of release was nonsensical. For hours, I did my very best to get into any game at all. I queued over and over again, and all night I could only get one multiplayer game and I could not even get into the offline campaign. Every game just booted me with instant defeat. So instead I just sat in the lobby for two hours **** talking the game and inciting as much discontent as I possibly could. I was disconnected from the game thirteen times, and every time I was disconnected I had to fill out a complicated security check, having to read the ****ty mutated anti-bot string where letters meld into each other and getting it wrong multiple times. It was the most annoying **** ever.

    Now, all of that said, and it must be said, I don't think that everyone involved in making this game deserves to be **** on. Some of these people have also had their livelihoods compromised for even being associated with this game, the lowest rated in history, despite working hard in what must be a minuscule team of developers after the Hong Kong strikes and all the people who left the company, leaving work unfinished. I think most of us grunts know what it's like to do ****ty things just to appease our corporate overlords, for us it's also a matter of life and death, being able to eat vs starving in the street. My heart goes out to anyone who genuinely cares about Warcraft 3 and did their best to put out a good product despite what they must have known would be an overwhelming failure that could jeopardize their careers. For their sake I will not give this game a 0.

    Despite all the shortcomings of this game, there is one thing that I have genuinely enjoyed about doing in it, and that's making maps. I know it's awful that I should use the editor after the stunt Blizzard pulled over the rights of my work, but the updated graphics and UI have genuinely been assets that I'm enjoying in creating my maps. I don't feel repulsed when I go in to do a first person or third person game with camera close ups. The annoying top and bottom parts of cinematic mode have been removed. The updated models are a matter of opinion and I really don't dislike them. I would have liked them more if for instance the Arthas on the cover of the box art was used for the face of Arthas instead of a four year old child's. None of the faces look like the character's they are trying to depict and I think that should be changed. I also think the lighting in unit portraits is strange and should be at an angle that doesn't highlight flaws in their faces making them look like mutants. Other than that I liked a lot of the models and I don't think they weren't in the Warcraft style. A unit I really liked was the peasant and footman. The footman I think reflects the opening cinematic well since I was a kid I wanted a hero that looked like that and I'm glad to get one. The peasant looked exactly as I'd expect, an oaf mook that tells you You're the king? Well I didn't vote for you.    … Expand

    Now about the game. Blizzard, it's really cool! I like your games. I've been playing Warcraft since 2001. My first part was Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness. And that's not counting "Rock n' Roll Racing" :D You did a great job, starting with graphics for Warcraft III: Reforged (yes, I know this work was outsourced, but I don't believe Blizzard didn't control quality) and ending with voice acting localized for each country. Some cards have been redesigned no matter what they say. A more convenient design for the start menu has been developed and cinematics have been reworked.

    Let me remind you, howling dogs, that Blizzard is involved in many projects, and outsourcing isn't uncommon in the gaming industry. I had no bugs, so I can't say anything about them. With high probability, these are just fakes. I enjoy the game and bought it already 3 times: for myself and for my friends. I don't regret a single cent spent. If it's such a big money for commenters, I wish them not to dishonor themselves and find a job.    … Expand

    I really like this remaster and I can't understand the wave of criterium for it. I knew Blizzard promised many updates from the original game (like new cutscenes and so on). I have specially checked the original game and some scenes were really updated.

Если честно не понимаю такую кислотность сообщества в сторону нового варика))) Да не спорю близы опрокинули с синематиками, новыми роликами собственно только из за них я и предзаказа ее сразу после близкона, но это та же самая игра из детста! снова прошел компанию и все любимые миссии не разочаровали ни разу) озвучка артеса не порадовала, орк подкастер красава норм озвучка не понимаю что даже из за нее говорят мол продался... ребята очнитесь игра не так плоха и ставить ей 0 просто что бы посмотреть на сколько она еще опуститься. Это очевидно самый плохой проект близард, но точно не худшая игра за все время... новые модели топ ( кроме альянса) ну и синематик артес против иллидана я ждал и шел к нему с удовольствием( и если честно глядя на ролики вов, есть впечатление что сделали его опять же на от..сь как и в дополнении старом) Еще раз повторю это явно не худшая игра в мире она ну норм своих денег само собой не стоит, но я вот прошел ее с удовольствием поиграл с друзьями запустил пару кастомок и остался доволен. К тому же вернул деньги за нее и не парюсь ибо да, ничего нового кроме моделей и нескольких городов, оно того не стоит. есть куча проблем у нового варика но считаю что оценку 6 он вполне заслуживает!( проблема в том что для близов и 6 это очень очень очень мало!) Я разочарован ждал от близов большей ответственности ждал эту игру но ничего нового мне не дали. Баги есть но лично мне они не очень то мешали. Главное меню лагает бывает но если честно запустил игру и не паришься)) В общем игра определенно слабая, учитывая легендарный 3 варкрафт) Но какие то эмоции я от игры получил. Продал и доволен) забавно наблюдать за флешь мобом когда все ставят 0 просто что бы опустить игру ниже))) от большей обиды.… Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
