    Full of bugs, no real improvement that can be appreciated.

    Some people, including me, have devices on which you can’t even launch the game (error handling request)

    They made the last gameS of the series inacessible to those having this bug.

    Please shut this company doWn. Blizzard, you made your time, now please let the real professionnels create games.

    Anyone who played beta over the past 4 months knew this game was no where near ready. They doubled down on releasing it this quarter and now everyone else has paid to join the beta. Activision has ruined Blizzard.

    Don't buy this. They only improve character model. Also Blizzard won't refund your money if you play it for a bit. They killed the classic Warcraft 3. Even if you don't buy this the old client is dead.

    Warcraft 3 es uno de los mejores juegos de los cuales pude jugar; pensé que este relanzamiento iba a mejorar las gráficas, texturas, etc pero parece que solo un remaster donde aumentaron la resolución.

Llevaba mucho tiempo esperando con muchisimas ganas Warcraft III reforged o un hipotetico Warcraft IV, ademas como mi mas preciado deseo esperaba un Diablo II HD o Remaster, ahora he cambiado por completo mi opinion: NO TOQUEIS DIABLO 2.

    Se han cargado todos los mapas a los que jugaba, se han cargado el juego antiguo, se han cargado la interfaz, no han cumplido en nada en lo referente a la campaña, las voces y la cinematica, y para si fuera poco el match making es peor que el anterior, ademas me han quitado la posibilidad de seguir jugando a mi juego antiguo de siempre.

    Lo han hecho mucho peor de lo que lo hicieron con el Stacraft clasico. Blizzard, la compañia que ocupa en mi casa una estanteria entera de ediciones coleccionistas, y figuras, para mi, esta muerta.

    Nunca volvere a confiar en ellos, y dificilmente vuelva a invertir un duro en sus juegos.

    Absolute let down of a game and company. You took what was arguably one of the greatest rts games of all time (aside from Starcraft) and managed to "REFORGE" it into absolute trash.
    Horrible cash grab, that's all. This is a literal spit in the face for Warcraft 3 fans.

    A 17 year old game was taken and butchered and we can't even go back to the way things were. I was looking forward to a remake for so many years but this is by far one of the biggest let downs in gaming. Also Blizzard's response has been disgusting and is largely the reason for a 0 rating.

    I was playing Warcraft 3 for 10 years. Then I have a break for few years and made a comeback after the announcement of WC3: Reforged.

    The pre reforge gaming experiece was great and I had big expectations after the announcement... After playing the final realese I must say that even Fallout 76 is a masterpiece compere to this joke.. The only reason the critics didn't gave it 0 is    I was playing Warcraft 3 for 10 years.     i made a metacritic account to rate this as a zero and say how much i hate this game. not only is it a hideous reskin of what was an ageless and charming game, but its also 32gb AND BREAKS THE ORIGINAL GAME. it makes me sick that this abomination had to go and alter the original classic for the worst. breaks my heart

    Their remastered made the game way worse. They made the older, more superior version, unplayable in favor of this one. They lied about everything they promised for this game. I actively hate everyone who works on this game. That's how bad it is. They butchered it, they ruined it.

    The ONE new cutscene that actually did make it into the game (Illidan vs Arthas) was outsourced to a studio in Malaysia and the end result is terribly animated, with terrible models, has no music, and everything is static (hair and boot fur don't move).

    The old cutscenes from 20 years ago are better.

    The game is poorly done, simple as that. It didn't fulfill the expectation that they themselves set, the overall quality is lacking at the most generous, and the legal stranglehold they're trying to establish over anything in the vein of custom games is concerning at the absolute least. Avoid at all costs whether you're a returning player or a new initiate.

    You can't remaster one of the best your games by this way.
    - No new UI
    - No new cutscenes (just the old ones rescaled)
    - Lots of old features missing
    - Bad idea with custom maps

    It's amazing how this "new and improved" version has actually managed to make an 18 year old game worse.

    Activision has ruined blizzard. It's no longer by gamers for gamers. Instead, it's by greedy capitalists for shareholders. They cut corners, did false advertising, and the game is plagued with bugs and bad performance. Nothing like the games the blizzard of old used to put out.

    I pre-ordered as soon as I heard about this classic getting a complete overhaul.
    Should have not done that, and should have requested a refund before playing a few missions as I cannot get my money back now.
    Game is not really an upgrade, you can see some touches of where it was updated but overall is a disappointment.

    Worse than the original game in all respects (except for unit models). The changes in campaign are negligible, the original version is no longer available and the cutscenes remained the same. But most importantly, Blizzard lied to their fans and ripped them off.

    What we've been given with this game is a steaming pile of garbage. They not only disgraced and ruined the "Reforged" version of WC3, but they also retroactively forced users of the ORIGINAL game to download a massive patch that also ruined the original WC3.

    There is not a single redeeming factor of Warcraft 3 Reforged. If it were possible to give a game a negative score, this would be deserving, as it not only is a terrible game, a poorly made rushed cash grab, outsourced garbage, but it also ruined another game in the process.

    This release removes so many features, has so many bugs and falls so short of the expectations set by the trailers that it sows how incompetent Blizz has become. I have played mods made by single individuals that are more polished than this game. The game reeks of being rushed, "fix it later" I imagine was decided. This is not worth money AT ALL in its current state. DO NOT BUY.

    To be short, I lost faith in your company a long time ago. It was the day of Overwatch's launch to be specific, though I shouldn't have given you the business even then after the Diablo 3 real money auction house. Activision/Blizzard I have watched you go from a great publisher & developer to a pitiful excuse of either in the 4 years since.

    From one mistake to another you've lost my custom and my faith, and while I had no reason to hope for a quality product from you, I did wish for you to turn it around.
    But enough is enough. I do not want to give you any more. No more hype, no more acclaids, not even passive data collection, and though you haven't received a penny from me in years I am now resolved to no longer buying any game with your names on the cover from this day forth.

    I ever I get nostalgic, I'm going to boot up an old PC that isn't connected to the internet, install the games off CDs, and enjoy reminiscing a time when you were once was great. A time from before you fell from grace.

    I may no longer be your target demographic, but if these other 12500+ negative reviews are anything to go by, you might have have many targets left if you mess up like this again.

    Just get a refund and stick to the original game and the Frozen Throne expansion with full HD or 4k+ resolution and the game still shines almost 20 years later.

    Do not buy this!! This is literally a downgraded version of warcraft3 with a slight paintjob. The only good thing I can say about it is that the model sprites look more 2015 (still underwhelming but servicable) almost like a free hd mod would have done. Oh and they managed to break the original.

    Thankfully i didnt buy this, but from what ive seen its an updated graphics pack for 30 dollars, and in some cases a graphics downgrade. And Blizzard outsourced the work for the new models to malaysia... This is the worst attempt of a cash grab ive seen in a long time.

    How did they make a game so awful it ruined the game they wanted to remaster. Killed two games with one stone. Not to mention misleading advertisement, and too much for me to type that am frustrated with. Lucky for us the threat of mass lawsuits has allowed for refunds.

    Blizzard is rushing to pay off metacritic reviewers so their stocks don't plummet further. This company died a decade ago and the corpse is just rotting further. I was a fool to pre-order this game so long ago I can't file a chargeback with my bank. I can't say I'm surprised. It's official, Blizzard is just a money scam. This game just solidified the facts.

    Now, after their recent patch, all bushes on the maps have turned in to black/green cubes.

    Personally, I don't care about the campaign or cutscenes at all. So F all that noise. But I do care about the competitive multiplayer part of it, which currently lacks any kind of ELO/MMR/Rank/Ladder system, making it a painful experience where I have to deal with inexperienced morons in my team time after time. It's full of toxic trolls, and idiots. People with no manners in any way, shape or form. You can't not win your way away from these incapable subhumans, and get to play with players that have a brain.

    Now, after the patch, they introduced this brand new and amazing feature..... INVISIBLE CREEPS THAT YOU CAN'T ATTACK! Which is awesome! It doesn't affetc all players, but it sure as hell Fs me over! Can't build expansion bases becase there are invisible enemies blocking it, that I can not kill, and will kill any building I create near them, or unit I place near them. So this BS has lost me a couple of games.

    I can't bother thinking about all the crap that's messed up, but on a gameplay level there are a serious amount of rage-inducing bugs that have made me just ragequit several 1v1 games. Like not being able to pick up units. You send a unit somewhere, then it goes somewhere else and dies instead. You click hold position, and then the units just attacks and gets itself killed anyway. So F your micro, it ain't worth sh##. The game's gonna make sure of that.

    Utterly disappointing remake. What the F did you do for all these years, Blizzard!??!?! scratch your assets!? (see what I did there?) You greedy asset-holes. And reading up on their EULA, that's not even a made up word. It's truth. Years in the making, and they make it worse than the 18 year old original. What on earth!? Greedy, cash-grabbing scum!

    Random Team games are still rampant with **** and teamkillers and trolls and retards, JUST like it was on classic after blizzard decided they'd stop giving a crap about people ruining the game for other people, and just let them run loose and do what they want. They still do. With no repercussion.

    .....why does blizzard not get a repercussion for this!? like some anthrax at their offices or something!? UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!

    released a incomplete game, whitout Matachmaking, Ladder, Profiles, Clans, Friends, Torunaments, Custom Campaigns, several bugs, the cut - scenes is the same, old UI, and some graphics are ugly, this a offensive remake for fan base.

    This should not have been released in the state that it is currently in. There's no good reason for the game to be missing features, to force you to play the reforged version, and to have been downgraded from what was initially advertised. Not worth your time or your money.

    The game is ridiculously unbalanced in solo play. The undead and in many cases the humans are just getting face-rolled by the nightelfs and the orcs. Then the orcs just get face-rolled by the nightelfs... In solo play 2 night elf armies can easily outmatch 3 full orc armies. And they always know where your second base is Moonpriest or not, they easily find it wtf... All in all and with theThe game is ridiculously unbalanced in solo play.     I didn't even buy the new version, but Blizzard also downgraded the classic version. 18 years I have been come back to this game every now and then and they even ruined that experience.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
