    Ok, I didn't awaited that the game will be something new. But for "reforged" game I awaited that the game would be reforged and not upscaled. Graphics laggs, textures laggs and offline game was removed... all promises were broken and the best game for me was ruined...

    Playing WC3 since 2002 from ROC. 99% of this time i was play on ladder. But now i don't have and old WC3, i have only Reforged client wihout new models with 25GB on my system SSD. Ranking was broken, teammates always was dumb and they always leave the game, and i can't report that. The game search was broken. I start to search, game was found, but nothing happend, only i can do it is quitPlaying WC3 since 2002 from ROC. 99% of this time i was play on ladder.     Графика убогая. Визуальный стиль стал гораздо хуже, чем был в оригинале - раньше были крупные сочные модели, хорошо отличимые от фона и от других моделей. Сейчас - модели выглядят как будто они от мобильной игры - просто орки, просто рыцари, стиля своего нет у игры. Техническое состояние - сетевой код плохой и сетевая игра крашится, и крашится она даже на чемпионатах, лол. В главном менюГрафика убогая. Визуальный стиль стал гораздо хуже, чем был в оригинале - раньше были крупные сочные модели, хорошо отличимые от фона и от других моделей. Сейчас - модели выглядят как будто они от мобильной игры - просто орки, просто рыцари, стиля своего нет у игры. В главном меню вместо крутого фона трехмерного, как в оригинале, сейчас говно-картинка полуанимированная, которая работает в БРАУЗЕРЕ, встроенном в игру. Максимально убого. При этом, в оригинальную игру вы можете поиграть только если скачаете ее с торрентов. Видеоролики - обещали переделать - переделали один. В общем, этот мусор выглядит хуже, чем любительские переделки Варкрафта 3 - есть демки от любителей, которые на порядок лучше выглядят и работают. Бесезда - сдохла. ЕА - сдохла. Теперь вот Близард сдохла. Ну ок, погнались за баблом, решили делать говно и пытаться продать его на ностальгии - итог закономерен, собакам собачья смерть. Серьезно, эта игра на уровне Фолаут 76, даже хуже.… Expand

    A real shame that Blizzard has fallen so low. In the past few months they've been attempting to censor free speech, shoving microtransactions into every nook and cranny of once-beloved games, and now releasing this blatant cashgrab to profit off of the hopes of their fans through false advertising. Not even being able to play the original game anymore is beyond short-sighted.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Warcraft 3 was my favourite game of all time and I was super hyped for Warcraft Reforged. Unfortunately Reforged turned out to be a buggy mess, several of the models look even worse than the original, a defeat screen would come up occasionally, ruining the campaign for no reason and worst of all some levels wouldn't even open up. Still this doesn't begin to describe the problems with this game.
    For some reason they thought it was a good idea to balance a game that was almost two decades old, the new hero models look all over the place and nothing like the original and to top it off they decided that the Wow-aesthetic was better than the original Warcraft style. Regardless, even with that it wouldn't have been that bad.

    But it gets Worse

    So much worse.

    The bugs for some reason prevent people from playing the original Warcraft 3 so you had to buy reforged, then they decided everyone needed to download the new reforged game and increase my just-at-few-GB game into a more than twenty Gb game. I live in a country with pretty damn poor internet so it took me almost 4 days to download the thing.
    And even when i did, I coulkdn't join anyones games initially, I couldn't play single player melee and I couldn't finish the campaign after randomly getting booted out of the games.

    And finally the worst part of all this:
    Custom games are dead
    Reforged killed almost all the custom maps so they couldn't be played.
    And to top it off they introduced a EULA that prevented people from making custom maps.
    Custom Maps are ruined.
    The chances of people fixing all of the lost maps (that were also deleted from my computer, thank god I kept a backup) are pretty damn abyssal, not to mention all thge fan maps, like Dragon Ball Z tribute or all those Naurto dotas.

    Blizzard has actually ruined my favourite game for what was merely meant to be a cash grab.
    All they had to do was make it so we could have Better models, instead they decided to go all out and beat Bethesda Creation club idea. Imagined if they introduced a Skyrim patch that deleted all mods and made it so all mods created are sole property of Bethesda.
    Blizzard killed one of the most popular RTS's on the planet so its no wonder they're getting negative reviews.    … Expand

    Es el peor lanzamiento jamás hecho. En primer lugar, su faceta online es una total porquería que da 5 pasos atrás. Las políticas de volverse dueños del contenido del usuario.
    Lo peor es que hemos sido engañados con las supuestas nuevas cinemáticas. Muchas web lo calificab como review bombing, pero esto es totalmente justificable. Un asco. No lo compres.

    Cutscenes. The main event. The one thing that kept players in anticipation, was utterly disappointing. The gameplay cutscenes shown in 2018 were light years away from what was in the actual game. Nothing was improved - I rather play the old version and I will be more than satisfied than this complete farce of a product.

    The reforged version comes with so many bugs and glitches, and forces players to agree to a new EULA agreement, which gives Blizzard complete copyright on every content and mod created.

    All the hype on the reforged version's graphics is lies - while textures are somewhat 'enhanced', the overall visuals just feels half-done, a complete vomit show, and just reeks of laziness and lack of passion. It feels like something got glued together on top of the 2002 version for a quick cash grab.

    Please, do not buy this, especially if you own the old WC3; it will overwrite the old one and you will never be able to play custom games such as DOTA and what not as Blizzard will complete copyright over them. AVOID THIS GAME.    … Expand

    A lazy entry from a company with no respect for the industry or it's fanbase, based on false advertising and deception, expect this trend to continue as long as fanbois continue to buy into the hype.

    THANKFULLY they have now decided to issue automatic refunds for a limited time, and I would suggest purchasers take advantage of this before it ends.

    The entire remaster is a literal downgrade with less features in total as well as constant crashing made gameplay nearly impossible for me.     I have refunded this game and have no intention of ever buying a copy from Blizzard, the gaming community is better off pirating a copy of the Original to play.

    This game now also represents the Corpse of Blizzard who have now been utterly consumed by Activision and is now wearing it's skin like a Macabre puppet.

    They made a lesser product than the original. Crashes often, cant start campaign battles, and a whole host of other problems that I haven't encountered because I can't play the game but you will find in more in-depth reviews. **** Blizzard. Don't give them money for any reason and let the company die.

    The day where you saw the Blizzard logo and it was a mark of quality, is now gone.

    Totally peace of **** This is the end. We have bad games, we have Mass Effect Andromeda, but this! THIS is totally not what blizard shown us on blizcon. Where is the new graphics!     Сценарий - 1 из 10, поскольку обещания по переделке, которые такие и висят на сайте не были выполнены.
    Интерфейс - 1 из 10, показанный на Близконе интерфейс, кость фанатам игры, чтоб заткнулись и покупали
    Музыка - 0 из 10, поскольку тупо выдрана из оригинальноый игры.
    Озвучка персонажей - 3 из 10, местами похуже, местами на уровне, но убитая озвучка Артаса - основного героя игры решает.
    Оптимизация - 3 из 10, игра буквально лагает с нихрена, особенно в главном меню.
    - 1 к итоговой оценке за отсутствие возможности играть в пользовательские кампании, убитый рейтинг, внутиигровое меню на хроме и прочие радости.
    Итого 0,6 баллов, этот релиз ничего не добавил в игру, кроме графония, а лишь обрезал всё, что показалось багоделам из Близзард ненужным.    … Expand

    The biggest lie of blizzard, they show up the cutscence and the prologue cinematic, make people hype and think about a great game with all new cutscence and cinematic, but everything is just a lie, they remove the cutscence and keep the rest of cinematic, and you know what ? the purpose is they want to take money from you, please this **** deserve 0 score and do not buy, i repeat, do not buy.

    A severe disappointment. It was one thing to make a broken "remaster", but to have it also drag the original down in the mud with it is just a bridge too far for me.

    Remake es lo que han hecho desde capcom con resident evil 2. Despues de comprarlo y juguarlo doy fe que esto que han hecho con el warcraft 3 reforjed no llega ni a remaster del original. Para mi es un engaño a toda regla.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
