    Making a cheap cashgrab with uglier graphics is one thing (i don't really blame blizzard for the graphics, they forgot how to code and therefore don't know how to write an engine anymore).
    However dDowngrading and removing features on the original game is another. Blizzard really outdid themselves on this one.

    -Графика и общее представление сцен в кампании хуже чем в 2018 на близконе.
    -Рейтинговых игр нет -ФПС скачет как чумной -Игра периодически вылетает -Кланов нет По факту в игре нету даже того, что было в 2002 году. Можно, конечно, оправдываться что отдел разработки/саппорта/перерисовки классических игр маленький и не успевает, но сроки компания ставила себе    Если коротко и по сути.

    По факту в игре нету даже того, что было в 2002 году. Можно, конечно, оправдываться что отдел разработки/саппорта/перерисовки классических игр маленький и не успевает, но сроки компания ставила себе сама. Да и ценник у игры(Покупал расширенную версию) вполне себе как у полноценной новой.

    То что есть на сейчас тянет на уровень ранней беты.
    Чего на самом деле ожидали:
    -Перерисованных роликов(Сначала говрили что это будет, потом что не будет, потом что будет частично)
    -Качественного бнет с внутриигровыми турнирами, кланами, каналами
    -Оптимизацию ФПС(Даже на хороших карточках есть пролаги в моменты построения )
    -От себя лично еще ожидал может каких-то расширенных кампаний, которые не вносили бы изменения в лор(Может про мурлоков рандомных или какие то карты по примеру кампании за рексара). Благо таких карт-кампаний нарисовали за 18 лет существования вк3 уже овер 100500.

    Было бы все это - была бы оценка 10/10, не смотря на мелкие нюансы типо непривычной озвучки(старую версию которой, кстати, также обещали сделать доступной ) неестественной травы, путаницы из юнитов и прочего.

    0/10 считаю справедливой оценкой так как предзаказав игру почти за полтора года до ее выхода в итоге я не получил даже функционала 18(!) летней давности. Это не игра, это бета.    … Expand

    Complete disrespect for the players. Disgusting quality of the game, deception: advertising, videos, interviews. All these years just lied. In Russia, the voice acting was ruined altogether, there was a completely finished good voice acting, they made a new horrible and disgusting one. Complete disrespect for the fans, they still do not want to return the money at the time of January 29, 2020.

    Graphics are rubbish. Compared to classic it's harder to distinguish units and the unique colours that gave classic it's feel are gone.

    I played about 10 games and switched it back to classic mode

    Waiting so long for a 'reforged' only to be disappointed, now blizzard can go back to dealing with their damn Overwatch..

    The game looks clunky, the camera is stiff as it was in the original game, which would be OK if the year was 2002, no change in dynamics of the camera or angle(at least something when you cant deliver remade cutscenes). Even the cinematics don't seem much as upgrade. i loved the original, but this is f in disgrace to this title.

    I didn't buy Warcraft III: Reskin. This is false advertisement and disgusting cashgrab. If this reskin would be sold for 10 €(if i am really generous) i would be quiet, but damn 30 € or even 40 dollars is a joke. Don't buy, wait for the price drop to 10 €. If you bought this, claim refund. Blizzard made so many fups over the past years, i still had hope but it's dead now, it's just an empty shell used for marketing by Activision and Bobby ****    … Expand

    I get it, times change and so should Blizzard... but you should still respect the people and games who made Blizzard what it is today. And this game is a slap in the face. It reminds me of Jay Wilson's twitter comment on David Brevik: **** that loser". The overall attitude here is the same. Played the prologue missions and couldn't stand it any more.

    If it was some other game that didn't have anything to do with Warcraft or Blizzard, I'd probably score it 7/10, and I'd probably finish the campaigns (assuming they're as good as WC3's). But as it currently stays, the only reasonable score I can give is a big, fat ZERO.    … Expand

    Unfinished product. Lacks key features that were available on classic.
    Bad fonts/menus/animations/colors. You can't play the original RoC and TFT games no more.

    I pre-ordered the game back in November. I waited for it from 2018 and, moreover, the release date was postponed to January. And now they have released a completely different game with bugs, which is fundamentally different from the version on Blizzcon. I'm very upset.

    The graphics are miserable, being really awkward to play the game. You should have used the Dota 2's models! Currently, apart from characters, the graphics looks like they used the same old models on a higher resolution. More, it seems that you need a very good PC to play this game as it has a lot FPS drops... There are games with far better graphics that are providing more FPS and are also far more stable.

    It looks like Blizzard only wants our money, refusing to listen to our requests, our feedback and providing a miserable remaster of a big game.    … Expand

    It’s just some kind of shame ... Making us wait 14 months and finally give the schedule for the 2005 level - for which we should pay the full price, especially to those who bought the original. Graphically, the game remained unchanged, just added support for modern permissions.

    Optimization, no custom maps, cut off cinematics. The whole game feels like it's broken, rushed, undeveloped. This is a truly sad day. After 8.3 I have high hopes for this game , very sad to see blizzard in this poor shape.

    This is are fullprice HD texture pack, bugged as **** without any ladder (yes yes, they told about it before). On the 2019 PC, this game crashes 4 times per 2 hours. Legendary Blizzard quality in 2020.

    I tried to play, nothing works properly, i expected a playable game, even just newer graphics and old features on, not needed any new feature or new cutscene or whatever, just my old loved game.

    At least the refund works.

    This game - without even buying it - forces you to downgrade your working version of Warcraft 3 TFT leaving old players without a proper place to play. Most of the community functionalities of Classic are missing from Reforged, and the engine is also in a worse shape making playing some maps confusing, and unplayable (i/e missing shadows prevents you from determining unit height in the air).

    Why should we pay a price of AAA game only for a raw texture mod? It is not REFORGING. This is sloppy work! Where is promised changes? There are a lot of bugs, shoddy cinematic and cut-scenes, terrible optimization, downgrade of graphics and engine features compared to those presented at the announcement... There is no good job to be found in the game.

    So, Don’t waste your money!

And even the parts that are in the game right now have a lot lower quality than they're supposed to be. Graphics update looks rushed and only partially done(unit models are mostly decent, while buildings and terrain still looks horrible, making it look weird - polished high-res soldier standing in front of tower that looks like it was made from paper and glue by 5 year old). Custom maps are still buggy and older versions do not have full compatibility with the reforged wc3, even though it was promised. Custom campaigns is something that we have yet to see in the game.     It's year 2020, you still can't change hotkeys from the game client. Go and edit it all in text file.
    Graphics are downgraded comparing to 2018 Demo.
    Part of custom maps isn't working. New custom maps policy is just stands against community (bye Fight of Characters, DBZ Tribute, and others)
    No finished profiles system. No ladders. Terrible performance issues even in main menu.
    Blizzard honked up almost every promise they made.

    But.. Who am I to complain about a small Indie studio with ~9k employees?    … Expand

    For me who was playing wc3 more than 10 years 1vs1. Wc3 in the "new" bnet is a huge disappointment. Only good thing they did is improving the ping.
    For me the rest is a huge downgrade or stepback from Classic Bnet.(which was created around 2005?!)

    But blizzard Failed

    As an editor of a custom map I am very disappointed.Sitting behind my pc for ~20 minutes while my pc is using 12 gigabites of ram consistently to load a map is absolutely horrendous. Not to forget the hundreds of triggers that are now completely broken and will have to be rewritten completely.

    Performance overall is poor. Low fps. Long loading screens, poorly optimized.     Just outright banning custom maps that have existed for over 5 years because they have custom models that are not blizzard friendly.

    Copyrighting everything that gets created in warcraft 3 is literally just dont to prevent another dota 2, Warlocks or legion td from happening. BECAUSE HOW DARE YOU BE SUCCESFUL!

    A redone campaign that isnt even completed on release? So whats next? Campaigns as DLC?

    Instead of a proper rework to this marvelous gem that I've played since I was 10 years old, it feels like a quick cashgrab and create some popularity. Feels more like a test to see how many people are still interested in strategy games and a deciding factor if blizzard will ever make warcraft 4.

    Seriously who made this? A company named Blizzard which was known for its amazing games, or was this made by actiblizzard. Purely there to make some easy money for the CEO's    … Expand

Blizzard просто решили поживиться нашими деньгами, выкатив в релиз продукт, по уровню качества соответствующий плохим играм Steam на Unity. Надеюсь, они хотя бы публично извинятся и попытаются что-то исправить в ближайшие месяцы. В противном случае, в подарок к предзаказу игры должны идти компьютеры за 1,500$, чтобы в эту преальфу можно было нормально играть. Хотя, нужно смотреть правде в глаза.     Буквально плевок в лицо всем любителям Варкрафта. Положительных изменений просто нет! Куча багов и вырвиглазная 'новая' графика. Бесплатно в такое бы не играл, не то что купил бы. Близарды стали делать полный отстой.

They promoted their preorder the whole time with them knowing that is it false advertisement. The game is not polished at all. The chat is a joke.     Не понимаю как можно защищать людей которые тебе в глаза нассали обещаниями. Все контора слилась можно нечего от них не ждать

    p.s. Настоящие фаны и в классический варик рубили все время и на графику плевали.

    They assassinated the best game of all time and replaced it with broken garbage. Avoid at all costs or refund if you got defrauded into purchasing out of nostalgia based on the false claims and broken promises advertised by Blizzard (Reforged cutscenes among many others).

    Voice acting is fine however.

    It doesn't support custom campaigns. New visuals are also a downgrade from old graphics. Especially the terrain is worse.

    I was so damn hyped by the promises made during the BlizzCon reveal . I grew up with this game, I was ready to be reunited with my old friend after so many years.
    Since then, I believed 'till the end of the beta that things would get better with time.
    You know where I'm getting at .. This is my biggest disappointment of the last years, since Fallout 76. Bugs aside (they are legion),    I was so damn hyped by the promises made during the BlizzCon reveal . I grew up with this game, I was ready to be reunited with my old friend after so many years.
    Since then, I believed 'till the end of the beta that things would get better with time.

    You know where I'm getting at .. This is my biggest disappointment of the last years, since Fallout 76.

    Bugs aside (they are legion), the feeling is just gone. We were shown remade in game cut-scenes which was for me THE selling point.. gone. They've spoken of remade voices.. gone. Extra sides missions in order to match the story development in WoW.. gone.

    The only thing you get is new character models.. but once again, downgraded from what we'seen from the announcement. (Huge let down regarding the back-steps made about previously redone buildings.. not even speaking about the floor, trees, and so on, which look extracted from ancient time as-well)

    Alongside that, you'll find yourself stuck with :
    * An UI of ancient time - very unappealing
    * The game menu from another time .. not reactive, not practical, you can't even stop the research for a game once you've launch one..)
    * Custom campaigns blocked for now
    * Stability issues (hopefully will be fix soon)
    * Colors that really doesn't shine.. at time everything looks so damn gray, it's depressing
    * Textures that seems flat out imported from the original game (+upgraded). There is a very noticeable distinction between the character models (remade) and the rest of the game, so much that it feels like the characters are not in the right packaging

    .. and the sad part is that I only have 6 hours played on the release version so far, and I've seen all of this already. The biggest disappointment for me is the "not so reforged" cut-scenes. This alone would have made the game really enjoyable for me as it was initially shown. Huge letdown.

    I've loved, Wacraft. I've loved the World they've built around it. Ultimately, I've been a Blizzard junky for many years, buying most of the games they made without hesitation.
    But after this, I can safely say that my faith in Blizzard is gone. I will watch closely what they'll do with D4, but will be much more regarding of the final product before buying.

    Sorry Blizzard.. loved you ! .. not anymore. You lost your own seal of quality (in my opinion at least)

The frame rate heavily fluctuates even on a GTX1080 and there are many parts of it that feel unfinished and buggy, especially the UI. It's also having a horrible launch where hardly anything works.     I was really anticipating this game to have cool cutscenes, but we barely got any of that. FFS they even scrapped the close-up scene in CoS, which they presented during Blizzcon. I can only assume that this promising project had a lot of features scrapped off due to lack of developers/budget. This is literally a 95% copy-pasted game from 2002. ONLY buy this game if you plan to playI was really anticipating this game to have cool cutscenes, but we barely got any of that.     A very strange thing. Very lazy HD mod. For this price they had to do a complete remake. New engine with new features. And they just changed the models and textures.

    Keep in mind that all art for Reforged was outsourced to Lemon Sky studios - a Malaysian company. Don't expect "Blizzard quality", there are none.

    Игра не оправдала свои ожидания. Если честно сказать, то произошло правовое нарушение, так как было искажение факта продукта, который был предоставлен покупателю.Из этого выходит,что авторы те ещё у******.....
    Анимация ничего так сильно не поменяла, также ничего не поменяли, а было сказано, что добавят сцены, также изменять лор чуть-чуть чтобы сделать его достоверным и схожим с Worl of    Игра не оправдала свои ожидания.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
