    I pre-bought this last year and I feel like I've payed 30€ for a downgrade. Warcraft III classic was already almost abandoned, and this managed to further reduce the feature set of Battle.net (no more ranking and matchmaking), while adding a plethora of major bugs to the game itself, making competitive games just impossible. Simply not acceptable.

    Unfortunately, I have to admit that I am very disappointed with the launch as a person who saw the trailer from Blizzcon and went to buy it on pre-order at the same time, but it's being impossible to play most custom games due to bugs in visuals and text, sometimes players get disconnected even on the loading screen, and for huge fps drops on any mode. I hope Blizzard address this soon.

    I am very sad to see one of my favorite games being "reforged" in to this shameful thing. A great way to kill the people that still play the game. I guess I will try and run my old CDs and if I can't, there are definitely other sources.

    You can't buy a game of this company any longer. In the past you could buy every game - now its just getting worse by year.

Баги, вылеты, ужасная графика, хуже чем была. Катсцены вырезали, те что обещали. Сделал возврат моментально. Стыд и позор.Это полнейший ужас. Настолько ужасной работы от Blizzard я никак не ожидал.     Что стало с Метелицей? Отдать на аутсорс большую часть разработки — худшее решение ever. Графика местами выглядит хуже, чем была когда-то, а решение ничего глобально не изменять действительно вводит в заблуждение крупной ценой. Такую версию должны давать бесплатно обладателям классических частей, надеясь, что игроки пропустят мимо колоссальное количество багов и недоработок, ведь халява на дороге не валяется. Но нет, они ещё и затянули петлю на шее у мододелов, гениально.

    Что же мы видим в итоге? 1200 за кусок невнятного и бессмысленного переиздания, которое разочаровывает слишком сильно, чтобы ставить ей больше нуля балов. Всё, что они старались сделать — обмануть основную массу доверяющих им игроков, подсовывая вместо сладких обещаний ту же игру 2002 года в более плачевном виде. Грусть.    … Expand

    Yeah, they restored the map technically.. It didn't matter, though. They shadowbanned it, you literally could not find the map unless you spelled it's name perfectly in a custom search, and even then it would not appear for many people.

    This was the day I realized blizzard was no longer Blizzard, and that the company i grew up worshiping that I spent a year of my life making content for.. Completely betrayed me for virtually no reason.

    That's why I'm not surprised to hear Warcraft III: Reforged essentially steals your content from you.. It's the equivalent of a billionaire stealing your 1 million dollar lottery ticket, just for the principle of the matter.

    They own any map you make and all IP associated with it.

    The game looks nearly the same as the version you bought 16 years ago, barely any upgrades and actually more bugs.

    Orwellian oversight on 2020 Battle.net.

    Lucky me, I managed to get a refund on this steaming pile of **** **** wow. A $30 game that takes as much effort as a gun re-skin in PUBG. 2018 Blizzcon strikes again.

    Well this was a really painfull experience. SInce the moment I clicked the "BUY NOW" button my completely new PC started to restart over and over like a hundred times (RYZEN 5 3600 CPU based). Few times I have been forced to uninstall and download again whole game, because of PC failures through downloading process (no ingame voices, crashing ingame videos). Then I was able to play threeWell this was a really painfull experience. SInce the moment I clicked the "BUY NOW" button my completely new PC started to restart over and over like a hundred times (RYZEN 5 3600 CPU based). Few times I have been forced to uninstall and download again whole game, because of PC failures through downloading process (no ingame voices, crashing ingame videos). Then I was able to play three prologue missions with about 10 crashes to BSOD. During this I realized that the only plus of this crappy game is characters HD reforge.
    Maybe my expectations were a bit higher. When someone says REFORGE, I would expect to bring the game to 21st century standards. And that did not happen.
    So I uninstalled the game the last time, closed the battlenet app, and world wonder, the pc stopped to crash as well.
    The result of that is that I again installed old good WC3 from 2002 and it runs pretty smooth on WIN10. Blizzard also accepted my request for refund.

    Blizzard's cash grab promoted by misleading trailers have made life of players who still played original WC3 harder, and since reforged is bug ridden disappointment and u can't enjoy it gameplaywise as you could enjoy original before Reforged release i will have to give it a zero.     I expected so much ...the game looks like they only wanted to get money.
    I tried on 4k 144fps (i have 9900k + 1080ti), and its not optimized.
    Very disappointed with blizzard...
    I wanted a real remastered. With new and better IU. Better animations, better maps details, etc..But looks like old game with some filters. 0/10

    Campaigns are barely updated. There are a lot more bugs in the game than ever before. Worst of all, essential game features such as a ladder system, custom campaigns and offline play have been removed.

    I loved the original game, but i was so disappointed by this garbage. And they are claiming that our complaints aren’t legitimate, which urged me to write this review. They took the rights from moders, therefore even if you create dota-like mod, they will not compensate you for it’s creation.     My first opinion was "wtf is on my screen". But after playing 4-5 hours i cant say that reforged so bad so "hatehype" ppls said. Probably this remastered doesnt cost so much, but we need say "thanks" to those fans-idiots who attacked blizz forums after blizzcon with themes like "we dont need any changes, get us wc3 with new graphs, nothing more". So you get it.

I really want my money back, i have been waiting for 1.5 years for this game and i have not been this disapppointed in a very very long time!     This game is basiclally the same game but with "better" graphics. Expect the graphics are not noticably better and they intruduced a lot of bugs. There are no improvements other than the graphics. And even that isn't worth the money.

    This hurts more than Arthas's death. So much wasted potential. Well there are minor upgrades like stacking potions and the scrollls and some models look really great, but its do not same fack that everything else is ****.

    Game was rushed as anyone could see. Bugs all over, the main campaign wouldn't start and would show a defeated screen the minute the first mission finished loading. Tons of missing features that's advertised on there website. So sad that blizzard has fallen so low.

    Lying about "reforged" cutscenes, the 2018 blizzcon trailer is NOTHING like the finished product. No new UI like promised, connectivity issues, removing custom games, REMOVING the old WC3 :(.

    Waiting for my refund. You better give me my money back. Will never pre-order again. Could never believe they would F-up this bad....

    Just a basic reskin but even the models are animated like its 2003, nothing really fits well and no ranked and less custom games. Buggy game, no subtitles with wide screen resolution.

    It's another thing entirely to REMOVE features and content that were ALREADY IN THE GAME for years and years... Reforged literally takes away more than it adds, and it forces this upon people that DIDN'T EVEN BUY THE GAME.     And also, the new graphics aren't even good, whereas I always for years loved the old graphics. And now in reforged even the old 'SD' graphics are messed up, and not completely like they used to be.

    The fact that your old copy of Warcraft 3 becomes "this" is enough to rate this 0 out of 10. All other downgrades are just an icing on a cake. Even more insulting to me is the expectation that "Bio-hazard" will activate its 0 cost spell of corporate speech and do nothing about this. Impossible to ignore actions like this.

So I bought it. The game did NOT deliver. The only thing good about this remake is the new character models which arent even done by blizzard but that was outsourced to some other company, so yeah...I knew Blizzard went to **** when Activision took over. Так что не пойму где надо было сидеть 3 месяца после близкона 2019 и до релиза игры чтобы не знать про отказ изминений, и сейчас просто в наглую с обиженным лицом занижать специально оценку игре. Ведь по факту на преподнесли все тот же Варкрафт 3 только с обновлеными модельками и новой озвучкой. Которая не плохая, она просто другая. Не слышал ещё всех персонажей но как звучат обычные юниты, мне нравится. По поводу новых моделей также очень даже понравились, и хотелось бы видеть некоторые и в world of warcraft, к примеру крестьяни, батраки, бандиты и тд. По поводу багов, глюков и тд. Да, они есть, я столкнулся с одним который подпортил настроение, а именно. Начав кампанию за орду, все шло гладко, без малейших фризов (ПК доволи старый gtx 780 и все в этом стиле, графика на максимальных) фпс не просидал прошёл первую миссию (обучение) загружал вторую и тут мне после загрузки автоматом мне засчитывало поражение. Толи игра оценила меня и посчитала что я не пройду её и не тратил времени то ли reforged знает про будущее орды и их вождей и решила "Да ну нафиг, не пустим вас (орду) в Калимдор". После 3 попыток зайти в мисию я забросил это дело, настроение изрядно подпортили мне этим. Поиграл против ИИ 2 боя (посмотреть модели персонажей) также работало все хорошо. После зашёл побегать пару кастомных карт, и тут нахлынули приятные воспоминания на душе стало как-то "лампово" наиграв в них около 2-3 часов (больше не мог и так надо было рано вставать). Опять же без единого вылета, или лага. Сразу настроение и впечетление улучшилось. Близзард нужно научится меньше обещать того в чем не уверены. Иди больше на диалог со своей аудиторией и не банить людей которые рассказывают как вернуть деньги за игру этим они сами себя топят. - Не переделали компанию как говорили но об этом предупредили заранее до релиза игры ибыло время вернуть деньги за неё.
    - Баги, нужно лучше полировать игру перед релизом.
    * CGI ролики никто не обещал, и после презентации в 2018году в интервью говорили что их не будут больше делать для reforged. Тут сами себе на выдумывали люди.
    +Новые модельки.
    +Новая озвучка.
    +Геймплейно это все тот же Варкрафт 3.

    Я игре с уверенностью ставлю 8 баллов и то только потому что -1 балл за отмену новинок, -1 балл за баги.

    Biggest scam in Video Game history. We literally paid for a downgrade. They removed more things than they added. (Clans, matchmaking, ingameprofile, Bnet tournaments etc.) The worst thing about it: No communication with us when **** will be fixed. Im so disappointedI

    I used to defend Acti-Bliz but now I'm just done with them. Not only did the ruin WC3 but they ruined classic WC3 as well, so when you want to play the working/better game...you can't. If you read a critic post and its positive, they either got bought off, never played an RTS, or played the game a few times in 2001. I've been playing for 19 years, and sadly this is the first time I don'tI used to defend Acti-Bliz but now I'm just done with them. From that Starcraft to Overwatch, and all the games in between, even bought stuff on the F2P (now P2W) games.

    And now you ruined my favourite one. You didn't only launch a game which is CLEARLY not finished, with BUGS, 90% copy-pasted and charge us 30€ for it. You REMOVED the access to the original game. I had friends there, MANY FRIENDS, I kept playing with them after 5-10 years. The community was still VERY ALIVE, even new maps being launched. You removed the best thing I kept from my childhood, you took away from me a game that was with me since I started playing when I was 3 years old.

    You have always been my favourite developer/publisher, Blizzard. And Warcraft III was, is, and will forever be my favourite game.

    And you know what? Blizzard is still my favourite developer. BLIZZARD, not A¢t¥v¥$ion B£¥$$ard. You are just like EA. No. WORSE than EA. I will never EVER spend a single € on your games. Never again.

    As an icing on the cake, it'll be difficult to get a refund for this mess if you pre-ordered. All in all, Warcraft III: Reforged and the original Warcraft III epitomize today's Blizzard and the Blizzard that we used to love.    … Expand

    - reforged cutscenes aren't even close to what was promised.

So there is no finished game BUT you changed the EULA to grant you the rights on user mods. I can tell you that you won’t need this because there won’t be any user mod if you aren’t interested in fixing this accumulation of bugs, missing features and so on.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
