    This is a travesty, not even half of what was promised, buggy, connection issues, morally reprehensible terms of service, **** over owners of original game by linking old game to new dysfunctional system, outright criminal advertisement and refund practices... the list goes on... may the blizzard we knew and loved rest in peace for a parasitic tumor has taken its's place.

    This 'game' reached into my computer and destroyed my existing installation of classic Warcraft 3. All of the custom campaigns I've carefully shepherded over the last 15+ years? Unplayable. The option's gone.

    I have uninstalled all Blizzard products.

    Classic Warcraft 3 has been removed, therefore this game gets a 0. Blizzard, W3 was the childhood game for so many people and you ruined it to a point of no return.

    We are living in the "dark ages" of gaming, more and more game publishers are getting more greedy and only care about their shareholders instead of the quality of their games and their costumers. Where is the common sense that happy customers lead to loyal customers ?

    The refund policy just shows that Blizzard is aware of the horrendous state of this game and prepared themselves to keep as much money as possible: try to sell, what should be an update of a game, and let customers waive their right for refund when they buy,install or open the game.

    The customer support perfectly translates the soul of Blizzard: cold and distant

    WC3 became a legend with the custom games, DOTA and Tower defenses was made through that tool, now blizzard tries to own all ideas gamers make made through their tool, like if Photoshop/paint tried to own all paintings made by their drawing tools.

    let´s get to the point:

    No new UI (as seen on BlizzCon Demo) No re-imagined cut-scenes (as seen on BlizzCon Demo) Instead a broken game No new visuals? Visuals are updated, yes - but... how could this mess ever pass any quality check? I mean, the models are looking ok-ish (more polygons and more - realistic- textures than the original ones) BUT the ground and environment did    let´s get to the point:

    Visuals are updated, yes - but... how could this mess ever pass any
    quality check? I mean, the models are looking ok-ish (more polygons
    and more - realistic- textures than the original ones) BUT the ground and
    environment did not get this treatment. It basically looks cartoon-ish (and
    even less details and worse than the original)and this makes the new models look just "off".

    The mix of two different "art styles" does not work (not even a bit)
    or look any pleasant nor professional...

    Sure thing - visuals are subjective, but most persons can tell, that
    there is something "wrong" with how it looks (overall)

    Destroying gameplay features for the WC3 veterans, that maybe not
    even wanted this "remake/remaster" does not help this release as well.

    Then there is the new EULA for folks, who want to do their own maps and mods
    with the editor - so Blizz can make sure, they own any rights for the content, that others
    are going to create with their editor. I mean it is their "product" and they
    have all the rights to do such things.

    So when you going to make the next "DOTA" or "Tower defense" mod, they can make sure, they
    will own the intellectual property of this! "Let the community do our work and we just show up
    to earn money from their efforts, if they start a new game-trend!" Nice (di#k) move guys!

    Then there is/was that argument "but the community wanted everything as close to the original
    as possible" - so no new missions, cut scenes, story changes and so on...

    This is absolutely ok, I say!

    For this "no-change people", they could just have implemented a switch "reforged/classic version"
    and everybody would have been happy...

    Oh wait! This switch actually exists !!! Hhhhmmm, let´s see....

    So it was just laziness, cutting on costs and/or manpower and then hide it under
    the "community wanted it cloak"?

    Well to be honest - if a company you trusted for a long time (like about 15 years)
    releases such a "product" (after showing a demo, everybody liked and was hyped for)
    you would get confidence, that this was on purpose and all planned. They´ve found an
    excuse and rolled this "product" out to the customers...

    Normally, any Art director would have slapped such a "product" in the faces of it´s makers stating "Jesus! Are you kidding me?" - "If this is your best, you´re fired!" What I took for a surprisingly, nice fan service from Blizz to their community (maybe to make up a bit for some of the mistakes and crap they did 2018-2019) turns out to be a straight ripp-off. I wanted to show my appreciation for making WC3 Reforged and pre-ordered "blindly" - because it can´t go wrong, after seeing the BC 2018 demo, right? And in the end, it´s Blizz and it´s one of their own products, they do a remaster remix, reforge, whatever.., right? Oh - they delayed it (by just a month) - absolutely no reason for me, to cancel my pre-order. I would have waited to Dec 2021 if this is, how long it would take them to come up with something half-decent at least. But no wrong again! "We just need another month to polish" they said! - and the outcome is this mess, the Internet rants about like crazy! - That´s hilarious as fyck, when you think about it. I still can not believe this... and worst thing is, no statement from Blizz after 2 days. I mean - do they even care? No? I think not! THIS worries me the most!    … Expand

    I am so disappointed in this game, i dont even know where to start, please do not buy this game even if you dont care. Gamers need to unite against engregous tactics. Blizzard is not what they were and i cant see myself buying another of their games.

    If this game was even close to what they promised back in 2018 then it would have been 10/10. A prime example is this page [link omitted] there official site and most of it is still things that they promised originally but never released with the game or where cut from production but this was said in interviews to other sites. This has me worried for the Shadowlands pre order and even Diablo 4

    The last time I was so disappointed for anything related to a videogame was with the diablo3 release.
    This is so wrong I don't know where to begin.

    Reforged could have been an incredible opportunity to revive a masterpiece, for both the single and multiplayer. At least they did not retcon the story, and I got my refund lol.

Я понимаю , что игроки получили не то чего ждали и мне тоже неприятно видеть как Blizzard ввела в заблуждение игроков (я против такого хоть я и фанат метелицы ) . НО эта игра не заслуживает таких оценок Я ЗА ТО ЧТОБЫ БЫЛИ СДЕРЖАНЫ ОБЕЩАНИЯ , НО САМА ИГРА НЕ УЖАСНА И НЕ ПЛОХА , она средненькая и сырая , но даже у неё есть хорошие стороны (например переданная атмосфера той далёкой легенды я прохожу пролог за орду и меня затягивает) и поэтому я считаю , что оценка этой игре от 4 до 6 из - за неправильной рекламной кампании.… Expand

    Installed it game crashed over 18 times on the first mission maybe played 20mins asked for refund was told no. Asked them why and they said they do not have to give a reason that or sales are final. That is not how it works in AUS

The character models and buildings look well enough when you zoom in. Kind of confused why we still have the old UI when we saw promotional videos showcasing a brand new one. but whatever.

Granted the game doesn't look as beautiful and crisp as Blizzard let on, but it still looks okay. The character models and buildings look well enough when you zoom in.     Haven't played any online games yet, which is the part of the game that a lot of people seem to be complaining about.

    Giving this a 7/10 just because, honestly, it's just a slightly nicer looking WC3 with a few things made clunkier (like having to make an online custom game to be able to play against AI, kind of weird). It's still WC3, which undoubtedly is one of the top 3 best RTS games of all time, so it has that going for it.    … Expand

It really looks like some China mobile rip off. Most annoying is new graphics and authors love for really bright colors. It almost looks like it missing textures or proper lighting.

    Но переиздание все это загубляет, модельки да, прорисованные, но как будто сделаны для инди игры. И у    Когда-то давно, была игра Варкрафт 3. Она всем нравилась. Эталон своего жанра. Неплохая графика с своими забавностями, например грудь у дриад на спине и отрисованные тени на текстурах. Замечательная музыка, атмосфера, проработанный сюжет, и запоминающиеся персонажи. Все это нам нравилось.
    Но переиздание все это загубляет, модельки да, прорисованные, но как будто сделаны для инди игры. И у меня, пока играла, было ощущение, будто это инди ремейк фанатов, сделанный за 10 долларов. Озвучка, что была от СофтКлаб хоть и не точна, и путает термины и имена, но она хотя-бы была сделана с душой. А новая совершенно не интересная, взять хоть озвучки чародеек. Если сначала был голос игривой такой чародейки, что насмехается и над врагом и над тобой, то в новой, как обиженная девочка.
    А по части механики, то и fps проседает в меню, может вообще зависнуть и вылететь, в диалоговых субтитрах нет фона, хотя если включить старую графику, то он есть. Мелочь, но выглядит странно, если есть портреты, то почему не сделать и фон под субтитры?
    На данный момент это худшая игра от близзард. А когда-то близзард были эталоном качества. Сейчас же эта бедная инди компания (да?) делает только посредственность. Страшно за шедоулендс.
    Я была готова даже принять Диабло иммортал, все же поиграть на планшетике где-нибудь в метро или в гостях норм тема. Но такой плевок в лицо не непростителен.

    There used to be a saying in the US: " The customer is always right ". Personally i don't belive in it. But imagine going from that to " The customer CAN'T be right, because WE ARE NEVER WRONG ".

    It takes a special kind of greed to do what they have done with reforged. The reforged version is fuil of bugs AND it destroys the original version at the same time. On top of that what has been advertised is not delivered.
    Say goodbye to custom games, whether you bought Reforged or not.
    A real shame.

    Just new textures, after promises of changing the plot aspects of the game. BRAVO BLIZZARD, YOU HAVE BROKEN BOTTOM. On top of that, there’s an incredible amount of bugs, the lack of a ladder, and the FPS drawdown. Bobby Kotick again received the money and now do not worry about the opinion of the community. Bravo!

    They took a 2002's AAA game and made it full of bugs, heavy to run and without any improvements or new features. It still is a good/medium game, but blizzard did a poor job.

    The worst quality. The technical component is disgusting. No new videos, no new missions, no art to look like the World of Warcraft. There is no normal matchmaking in a multiplayer game. No new directing cutscenes.

    Does not include features they themselves advertised. The added things to the blizzcon version and REMOVED it for the released version. There is no ranked matchmaking like they advertised, there are no ramastered cutscenes

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
