    Riot outdid themselves on this one. The agents are very view but how well the mechanics work together makes it fun to play.
    I definitely expect the meta to shift around like in lol but the cs like mechanics make it easy to pick up again for a while after a break.
    Obviously this genre got nothing much new but it still feels fresh enough to be fun and appealing!

    My chat banned for 4 days, because my chat behaviour. What was my fault? No any information.
    Started the game, I watching the map for 5 minutes, the other players are playing well. I tested my internet, everything was ok. After 5 mins, i connected to game, when finished the round, I banned for 10 mins, because other players reported the AFK.

    I quit Valorant after playing just ONE game. The game is so uninspired, slow and boring. The use of skill is comical and ridiculous. If you like getting one shot killed after being hit by an ulti skill that u didn't see coming at all, if you like to play a game that requires no skill or brain, if you like to sit around and camp corners till u finally shoot them in the back then playI quit Valorant after playing just ONE game.     The graphical aspect of the game is poor for me the graphical aspect is that it motivates me to play not for 1440p or 4k but rather that it at least looked decent and in a matter of maps it does not finish conversing me.

    I literally just created account so i could give this games a huge 0. Game is slow, feels empty, kinda raw like not even finished yet. You dont get to feel the guns and u dont need much skill for guns bcs recoil is kinda random pattern, ping is still high average is i would say about 45, while they promised 35 for all at max, some characters have dumb abilities and others are literally soI literally just created account so i could give this games a huge 0.     Unoriginal and boring. This game is for people who don't mind something they've played before, many times over. It's extremely simplistic, and has no real point to playing it. Games are becoming more complex and beautiful. This game goes there exact opposite direction.

    Pure trash, unplayable and very unoptimized game with constant "Low client fps" "High ping" despite having a decent internet connection (Other games outside SEA server has a pretty stable connection & ping) and a laptop that meets the recommended system requirements. Uninstalled this pure **** trashlorant of a game

    Quite literally, the most boring FPS I've ever had the displeasure of encountering; and on top of that a Root Kit by a company owned by Tencet. This game will never ever be installed on my PC, ever. Riot as a Dev is a no-go from me from now on.

Reyna has 2 damn flashes which last 3 seconds and have 100 HP. She can cast through walls and her teammates are not affected by it.     The anticheat basically ruined my pc disabled my mouse and keyboard bloody apps uninstalled my msi afterburner had to boot up the pc in safe mode to be able to fix this crap no game is worth trashing your pc.

For someone like myself who is used to 144 fps gaming but anyways i tried the game today but quickly uninstalled due to motion sickness.The game runs too slow maybe 20 fps like some console, Settings has no Fov settings, can't adjust monitor to 144 and i don't even care if its free. Who said i cant pay 100 bucks for well optimized games but i will def retry the game soon as the above mention is fixed.… Expand

    As someone who've played since beta, game was nowhere near finished release. Random freezes, crashes, DCs happen, and let's not get started on the Vanguard malware. There are only 4 maps and 2 modes which makes it repetitive and tedious when you add the Battle Pass that requires you to play at least 2 hours everyday to finish on top of that.

The sheer amount of ways you can figure out to win the round is really interesting and adds a new spin to the tactical FPS shooter genre, which was a much needed coat of paint. You need color, atmosphere, and design to make a great map, but Valorant doesn’t check off any of those boxes. It’s actually kind of pathetic for a developer like Riot to create something so mediocre. Speaking of Riot, why do they have to make their own separate program to play the game on. It’s 2020, either put the damn game on Steam or Epic Games. Also I know this is over now but it was really dumb. The beta. Oh my god I have never seen such an awful way to do a beta. You had to watch twitch streams for ever to get a key. I think it was kind of dumb on a business standpoint because you are deterring people from playing your game. All in all it’s a fun game, but a bland one at that.… Expand

    Such a fresh take on a genre rarely done well. The amount of love put in this game is immense. A large critique of this game is that it’s not a deep as cs, but that’s imo not correct. It has a lower skill floor, but the variety is incredible. Fresh take on the genre

    The game is really a fresh new take on the tactical fps genre. The weapon are solid and the characters are well designed, maps are ok and the game turns out to be really addicting. The only concern is about Vanguard which should not be running 24/7 as you boot up your pc but only when the game launches.

    Do not listen to all the negative reviews, they are just frustrated that they are super bad at the game. Its a good game if you like tactical fps gameplay, and prefer tactical gunplay over running and gunning.

    Movement is slowed down from CSGOs probably to compensate for the tiny maps and how they thought this would help speakers advantage.     The economy has nothing to it, really basic. Probably due to the fact, all the abilities cost so little so it turns into 1 round save and next full buy.
    Maps. Split feels so claustrophobic, almost like your battling against the map rather than the other team sometimes. The maps are either meh average or bad. They only brought out 4 MAPS... and all pretty poor.
    Abilities. We were told there would be no lethal abilities.. they brought out RAZE that has all lethal abilities... DEVS don't know there own game. They cost 2 little. no character should get abilities for free. When you die you should lose them all. No outplay to some ultimates, just really uncompetitive gameplay.
    The peakers advantage has not been fixed, its in fact really bad.
    The hit detection is really bad also, many clips online about how bad it actually is, this might be a connection issue though and hopefully can be fixed soon.

    The game is not good to watch. The youtube, twitch views have dropped massively... EVEN ON LAUNCH. During twitch rivals it wasn't even number 1 on twitch.. streamers and YouTubers didn't come back... people just didn't like it, competitive team play or ranked was just not fun to watch.

    Nearly all these issues can be worked on and fixed, I do hope the game improves and is a rival to CSGO, cause already we have csgo greatly improve thanks to the potential scare of Valorant.. I am worried that will fade now they release they don't have anything to worry about in its current state.
    I had full intentions of making a team and trying to compete in this game.. I was really disappointed, but maybe my fault for having such high expectations so soon.
    CSGO wasn't good the first year it was out either. So I have hope still but right now very average game.    … Expand

    Valorant es un muy buen juego competitivo pero falla en cuestión de estabilidad del cliente tanto en conexión como una alta variación del ping durante la partida. (Se que el juego apenas salio de beta cerrada la cual pude probar y que poco a poco irán puliendo estos problemas).

    Fuera de eso me encanta el diseño de personajes, escenarios y skins.

    CS go and overwatch mashed together to make this. While it has the best of both worlds combined, hero skills feel unbalanced as some are more impactful than others and the microtransactions are shockingly high priced at a boosted value.

    So fun , it's Like a blend of cs:go and Rainbow six siege with a fun aesthetic . I've only been playing it for the past 2 weeks but i can already say that'll be my main competitive game

    It is simply a fun tactical fps, where you don't HAVE TO learn every single smoke and practice for hours just to play ranked, but, if you want you have plenty of ways to learn cool tech with characters like sova or viper.

    Valorant is not original. Rather, it's a successful interpretation of and expansion on its inspirations, with impeccable gameplay, well-designed maps, and a dev team eager to refine it further.

    The game was good for the first week, then it went on a steady decline. The novelty of it wore off. This game was awesome but now it is terribly average. The ski prices are outrageous as well, $130 for a skin pack? No way.

    В принципе, единственное, что отталкивает от игры - тиммейты, как показала практика 30 сыгранный каток, играть реально только стаком, даже если вы играете в 3м, то рано радоваться, оставшиеся 2 будут либо ливерами, либо настолько не понимают, что происходит и при игре на Sage не будут хилить/ресать, а просто бегать и    Игра вполне хорошая, интересные механики, стрельба, вполне, казуальная.

    Tristemente es un juego incompleto y sacado a las carreras... el apartado gráfico está bien, pero nada espectacular, de hecho hay animaciones (como la de salto) que están mal, vamos que casi ponen la T-Pose por defecto y daría lo mismo. El diseño de interfaz y el arte son exquisitos... pero hay más errores que honores. Los escenarios son muy pobres y vacíos. ¡Sólo hay un estilo de juego! y lo más triste es que el modo de juego más divertido es la versión reducida del de rankeds... Es un juego que se torna aburrido con el paso de un rato... Es muy fácil matar... Se extraña un botón para agacharse, y aunque la mecánica de apuntar es muy satisfactoria, penaliza demasiado la movilidad además de que al recibir un disparo te ralentiza aún más firmando tu pase a morir... Además de que el reaparecer se puede tornar muy, muuuuuuy lento debido a que debes esperar la siguiente ronda... Lo cual no es divertido para un juego como este. Se nota que quisieron tomar Overwatch y CS:GO y los hicieron tener un hijo con retraso xD Se nota que lo sacaron a las carreras porque ¡LOS AGENTES NO TIENEN SKINS! Que es lo que más se compra en este tipo de juegos Free to play... Y lo peor es que ya no es una beta, que se le podría perdonar todo, pero no... No le doy menos nota porque le veo mucho potencial, pero hasta la fecha le falta mucho para lograr alcanzar a su hermano mayor LOL... Lo siento Valorant llegas 21 años tarde a la fiesta de CS

    Olvidé mencionar las habilidades. Me sorprende que hay muchas habilidades que realmente son muy útiles para manejar a los adversarios, es decir las habilidades que te permiten bloquear la visibilidad o el paso... pero hay otras habilidades que quedan totalmente inútiles cuando le das la capacidad a un arma de matar de uno o dos tiros a la cabeza... por lo cual los agentes con habilidades de daño directo no sirven de mucho. Ya se verá como el meta del juego van a ser sólo disparos a la cabeza, y las habilidades no servirán de nada...

    Ah y otra cosa... el diseño de sonido es terrible :/

    This game was created to be competitive. It is a "shiny" (kinda) game that has cool characters and cool abilities. However, the basis of the game revolves around this hyper competitiveness and is not inherently fun. Fire is everywhere, we wait. Wall has been put up, we wait. The game takes on this routine flow of mundaneness with an occasion cool play or pop off. In addition to this, the weapons in the game hinder your experience by so much. Instead of normal weapon bloom or recoil, unique spray patterns that resemble no firearm known to man inhabit all of the guns. You will often find yourself missing easy (I cannot stress this easy enough) shots and just getting fed up with this overkill spray pattern **** The graphics leaves and user interface leave much to be desired and feel very mediocre. The game is dumb for dumb reasons. Riot could have easily made so many things better but we are stuck with this half baked CSGO-Overwatch inbred. I really wanted this game to be fun, but every time I play it I have the unexplainable urge to jump from a high place and/or beat my favorite pet. This game pisses me off, **** you Riot… Expand

    It's bad.. bad graphics, bad mechanics, bad net code. Not my play style at all but it doesn't run great for the low cartoon poly feeling graphics they used, had to leave my first match due to internet lag. Went to play other games and my internet seemed fine. Noticed the lag in the tutorial as well. Ew.

    Hero Abilities
    -For the most part I feel that most characters are fairly balanced except for Raze and Reyna. I've never felt as if I lost because of a **** ability but rather I died due to a poor play from me.
    -Omen needs a buff. Teleport shouldn't make a sound at all. It really just ruins his character because when the sound goes off everyone knows where you're at. I rather have it where you know he has ult, Omen ults, No one hears it, he gets a pick then the communication on the other team has to call out he teleported.
    -Jett needs more consistency with right click on the ult. Too many times have I been standing still and no knives hit.

    Pacing
    -Reviews saying the game is boring are wrong. It's only boring because of your play style. If you want fast paced gameplay, coordinate with the team then fully rush a site.

    Economy
    -Definitely needs to be less rewarding. If you save for 3 rounds at the start you will have full armor + vandal for the rest of the half even if you're losing.

    Loot Boxes (Contentious Topic)
    -In my own opinion loot boxes makes shooters thrive if it's purely cosmetic. I don't like the idea that I buy an axe for $35 that half the population has also. Doesn't feel unique versus pure rng giving you a specific float for a rare gun/knife.
    -They need to open up a marketplace if the idea above is implemented because the game will grow in popularity if the people can get more out of the game other then just ranking or buying generic skins that look as if they were made by a 10 year old.    … Expand

Im getting Shot in the Head from guys running around corners so often, i cant even count it anymore. This Problem is there since the "release of the fullversion" and nobody is fixing it. They are bringing out new Skins and stupid **** you can buy with real money but dont fix the **** game. Skins are way toooo expensive and they dont even look that good for the prices. They try be CSGO and try not be CSGO and this dosent work out well. There are Charakters with Grenades that deal 78 Damage even if you are like 10 meters away, there are Rocket louchers that kill you One Shot within a range of 10 Meters, there are Robots that you throw out and they detect a enemie for you and explode if its close to you and thats just one character...
    All characters got some kind of ability thats super strong but theres also Reyna, the New Character. She is anything but balanced gameplay. She got a flashbang that only flashes enemies, she can turn invincible and unvisible and she can heal herself up to 150 health. Even in pistol rounds where normal players could only have 100 health. There was not 1 single game i played where a reyna wasnt the top fragger. This game is just not fun anymore and i dont know how you can ruin a game like this. How can you **** it up so hard that the beta full of bugs was better then the actual game. People said its CSGO for noobs that need op abilitys to get kills and i always tried to change their opinion, but right now im actually thinking the same way. I got aim and i got map knowledge, i played very much games and i know how the game and weapons work, but having normal gunfights where im looking on the enemie and not getting hit by a rocket, flashed by a floating eyeball or just hunted down with a bow that shoots through walls is not happening that often. I dont even know what exactly they changed after the beta but the whole thing just dosent feels right anymore.
    Every day when im starting up the game im thinking if its really an good ideal to play a round because its just making me aggressive to get ****ed by people that just run while they shot and its working out for them. Strave shooting, Strave peeking crouch spraying, you cant do anything against this run and gun **** And again they try to be csgo and dont try to be csgo but why would you make spray patterns that are different every time? thats so **** stupid. In Csgo you want to learn the game so you learn the sprays, thats high skilled **** i want to see. But how needs guns that shoot in any direction after the first 8 bulletts ( these are random too but in a more consistend way) ? And then there is scoping... oh god please why scoping in a csgo clone? thats not it ... if you shoot while scoping the firing rate and the spray apttern is changing. I dont understand why they are building in stupid **** like that. Be a CSGO with abilitys but without **** op **** characters that can do 1v5 or unlearnable spray patterns. How should i improve my aim if there is nothing to improve because its **** random everytime you fire the gun? In CSGO im always try to perfectionate my spray downs and in this game im feeling like a silver 1 player his first matchmaking because the weapon is going anywhere when im trying to pratice my spray controll.
    I dont know why they arent fixing **** atm. In the Beta they patched every week and everybody was happy. Did they earn enough money to this point so they dont need to bring out patches? Its been 3 weeks and since there we all want a reyna patch and nothing is coming. They are nerfing anybody else but not her. This Run and Headshot **** is pissing of the commuity as well. reddit is full of complainings but theyre not doing **** about it.
    I hope this game dies as fast as it got the hype!
    Riot fix your stupid game and dont let the players wait until they dont want to play anymore. For **** players it might not be a problem but for players that know they got atleast a good aim are pissed of by this mechanics of shooting.

A company that has completely fallen into the greed-pit that is triple-A and esports gaming, releasing an uninspired, barebone game and still having the guts to include a full-blown horribly-overpriced ingame store with an absurd initial bundle offering that costs about €75... for purple and gold guns... A company now pioneering the inclusion of invasive malware-like anti-cheat measures into their multiplayer game.
    All for a game that doesn't even deserve to exist, as boring as it is. Bad gunplay, boring (and stolen) characters, ugly textures and effects, ugly sound design, boring (and stolen) maps... and of course, streamers and influencers hyping this up beyond reason.

    How do you rate a game like this, from someone like this?

    The game just feels like CS:GO with a hero mechanic from games like Overwatch and Paladins. It doesn't bring anything unique to the table but is instead a mashup of two well established sub genres of the FPS game.

    In the fifth day of Closed Beta i got the key and i started to play. First i was disappointed, cus the game was TOO raw. I also had some problems with Riot Vanguard, some of my games were lagging and I had to delete anticheat EVERY TIME i quit the Valorant (spoiler: Riot didn't fix this problem).
    When i said "raw", i meant, that the game didn't have death animation, 2007 graphic, bad bullet registration and more. I don't know, but i and my friends think the defense is stronger than attack becaus of the maps. They are very narrow, that why some heroes like Raze, Sage, Cypher are OP. The best example of it is Bind, you will often see, that the team will comeback in defense and lose in attack in the second half. The rating system was bad. You could get 2 rangs at the second place in 13-10 match and lose rang at the first place in 12-13 match.
    In the relise Riot fixed many problems, like shooting, some animations and bugs. I'm still playing in this game, but I don't feel, that i'm loving it, that why i gave Valorant 5/10.

The characters don't have the same soul or presence as one could expect. During the gameplay, they have had innovative ideas, but it's the same thing, when you die you have to wait.     The graphics for instance are beautiful and a huge upgrade to older games, but simple enough to still allow 144fps on low-end machines. For example it does not feature ragdoll phyics for fairness and high framerates.

    The gunplay is fantastic and probably the best I've ever seen.

    The launch was the smoothest I've seen in ages. I could play the whole day without any issues but minor display bugs.

    It's a very polished game, and on launch already better than its direct competitors in most fields, except map count and the missing kill cam.

    The Vanguard Anticheat people are writing about is nothing new. Riot was just pretty transparent about it. It features a kernel driver anti cheat service that runs on startup. This is possible security hole and riot has a well paid bug bounty program to keep it secure. The thing is, that every other big competitive games also come with kernel drivers: Easy Anticheat (Fortnite, Apex Legends), Battleeye (PUBG), FaceIt (CSGO), Punkbuster (Battlefeld). Other companies just don't tell you about it and how it works. Also they don't give you the opportunity to switch it off.

    If you wonder about the bad reviews here: it's basically CS:GO players who try to troll defend CS:GO. Funningly enough at the time CS:GO came out, it was also stomped in to the ground by CS players alike.    … Expand

    The anti-cheat is a spyware garbage who cant even do its job and, the netcode has things like peekers advantage that makes the game sometimes unfair and tilting. The game obviously takes concepts from Counter-Strike but lacks gamemodes such as deathmatch or gungame. It only has 4 maps and their desings are begginer level and boring.

    The sound it’s both good and bad. The voice acting is great, I’ve played several hours with both English and Spanish voices and the work they’ve done is superb, the abilities from the agents all sound really Good, but the weapons lack a bit of punch, some like the snipers sound really good with a clear futuristic “Bang!”, others like the SMG’s and one of the AR’s sound like a peashooter.

    Visuals is where the game clearly shines, but some of the characters designs stick out like a sore thumb, Characters like Phoenix and Jett that walk around with a clear “sci-fi casual” style side by side with others like Sage or Omen that look like they came out straight from the Paladins roster.
    The maps, while the art style again makes them really good as something to look at, on the gameplay aspect they’re too similar in design at the ground level. While the loading screen art shows incredible landmarks on them, the maps actually boil down to “the one with beige walls, the one with beige walls and sewers, the one with beige walls and some steel platform” you’re going to end up learning the maps by playing since there is only 4 but the design doesn’t help at all.

    The gameplay is where my biggest problem with the game lies, to say it softly, this game was clearly “inspired” by Counter Strike, and while it tried to add it’s own spin into it’s gameplay, it fails incredibly hard.
    Let’s start with the good, the weapons damage seems balanced in regards to the prices, if two weapons cost the same it mostly boils down to your preference on how they both work, they also actually feel good while shooting from the hip, if you have experience with CS and can play without ADS not once, you’ll enjoy the gunplay a lot. The server tickrate is a godsent and the hitreg on the characters models has also been incredibly accurate for me.
    Now the bad, which is pretty much everything else. ADSing. Why? Just why would you make ADS work so bad? When you aim down sights your reticle changes to a holographic universal sight, now, on every FPS where you’re given this option you sacrifice your field of view in exchange for the ability to land precise shots having to worry only about the weapon recoil, Valorant has to be different and completely ditches that idea. Here if you ADS not only you lose your FOV of the area, you lose fire rate on your weapon, and the spread that the weapon has while shooting from the hip is still there! I’ll admit it reduces it, just why would you introduce ADSing in your game if it only hurts you.
    The gameplay around the map is also quite bad, aside form the whole “it’s all beige walls” point I already stated before, players can move way too much before a round start, there are clear spawn zones for both attack and defense but both teams can move freely on a larger area before the round starts with five convenient exits into a middle neutral zone. This degrades the game into a guessing game, do we all go into this exit leading to A and try to plant fast? Would the enemy team defend each one door or would they all play around the doors to plant zones? While this all sounds good in paper most matches boils down to a 1v2 engagement that starts the snowballing of the team that wins and ends up with more money.
    Now, character balance, Yes, there are clearly some agents that are better than others, this is a hero shooter and there’s going to be balance issues, but here they’re aggravated since the abilities cost money, not a lot, I’ll admit it, only between 100 and 300, but it all adds up when you consider that some characters like Raze have all abilities that deal damage and can help her snowball, or Reyna who can fully heal up after each kill.
    There’s pretty much no balanced matchmaking, with no comp mode currently in the game to set an MMR to players you can jump into your first game and find yourself against a 5-man squad of beta players with hundreds of hours into the game. Starting to play now is going to be incredibly rough and hard.

Just one look at the shop and you can see their intent. 90 EU for a skin pack? 12 EU for the lowest "rarity" skin? Ok then at least the game is good right? Nope, broken matchmaking, no ranked on release because the matchmaking in that was absolute trash as well. Just one look at the shop and you can see their intent. 90 EU for a skin pack? 12 EU for the lowest "rarity" skin? Ok then at least the game is good right? Nope, broken matchmaking, no ranked on release because the matchmaking in that was absolute trash as well. Beta rewards were a "gun buddy" a profile card and a title aka stuff only you can see. This game was rushed beyond imagination and isn't in the same league as Overwatch or CSGO. It's a cheap mobile game knockoff and it should be buried as soon as possible.     As a CSGO player with over 1000 hours playtime and over 4000 hours in FPS games at decently high end rankings, this game is literally a free to play asian shooter. The movement is clunky, the guns feel like toys with 0 impact, the maps seem to have been designed by some interns that just finished game design in uni, the gunplay is a literal ripoff from CS 1.6, which was terrible as it isAs a CSGO player with over 1000 hours playtime and over 4000 hours in FPS games at decently high end rankings, this game is literally a free to play asian shooter.     Valorant's 7 year claim to fame is essentially an FPS or "First-Person Shooter" that    Ah yes, Riot Games, widely known for their popular hit "League of Legends" you wouldn't blame a company of their stature for giving it the ole' college try at another genre. Valorant is their next project that is quickly sweeping the community off it's feet. For the right reasons? Well...let's find out.

    Valorant's 7 year claim to fame is essentially an FPS or "First-Person Shooter" that draws inspiration from CS:GO, Overwatch and even it's cousin League of Legends. That's right, I said 7 years. This project has been in the works since "2013" according to an inside source. Notable names under this project include "Volcano" - popular figure among the CS:GO community for his work on maps such as "de_nuke" and "de_cache" and "Penguin" - an ex-counter-strike: source competitive player.

    THE BAD:

    You would think with the backing of Riot Games and notable FPS developers/designers that this game would be spectacular. In short, it isn't as of right now and has a long way to go if it wants to compete with the likes of CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege and Overwatch. This game (to me at least), seems like a rushed and desultory fashioned FPS that Riot made with the intention of "cashing-out" on the well-known genre, while maintaining a low budget.

    This game heavily lacks the sort of character you feel while playing the aforementioned titles. The maps feel very cut and paste. Too many corners on all four maps, lots of gimmicks that don't make sense and generally lack flavor. The overall sounds you hear (whether it be guns or general SFX) sound dull, weak and quite frankly awful. Not to mention the designs of the guns themselves definitely fall short to a certain degree. There's currently just two game modes, both of which seem to play the exact same regardless. "Spike Rush" is a shortened version of a normal game, but with power-ups and predetermined weapons. They also have their 5v5 competitive mode available. We also got a taste of ranked in the beta testing, but too be honest, I hope we don't see it for awhile. The ranking system was all over the place, matchmaking was awful at times and the overall placement of the player base was off. Riot released just one new agent as well. Lack of Content is 3 words I would use here. Really? No deathmatch on launch? Only one new agent?

    As I mentioned earlier, this title seems like a desperate cash grab on Riot Games part. They are currently charging anywhere from $70-90 for a set of "virtual skins" in the game. After further inspection, most of the skins seen in the item shop are definitely not what Riot Games designers are capable of. Most of these are dull, lack color, and don't include any drawn patterns. If anything, you're paying near $100 for designs that quite frankly, a two year old could mock-up and post on a fridge. Overall, this is not what Riot Games designers should be releasing and we as a community shouldn't tolerate these.

    THE GOOD:

    Part of reviewing games is seeing what good side there is, if any. One thing I do love, is the different ways you can defeat your enemy even when your economy might not be the greatest. Abilities aren't that bad, albeit some of them feel the same (Omen Flash, Reyna Flash - Phoenix Fire, Brimstone Fire). They still did a great job with the abilities, tuning will be needed, but I like how they're designed. Gameplay also felt really smooth surprisingly. Riot did a great job at making sure movement was tuned properly.

    OVERALL:

    I definitely have my gripes with this game. For a developer to claim they are "ready for release" is a pretty bold statement you should only make if you are absolutely 100% ready. Spoiler - they weren't. We saw a near two month long "Beta testing" period in which they made a few small tweaks, but nothing gameplay affecting. Release was set for just 4 days after the beta was finished. I don't know about you guys, but that to me SCREAMS desperation. Normally when a beta is over, the developer takes the time to make changes, fine tune some things and then release it say a month or two later. 4 days is laughable.

    This title will flourish amongst the gamer looking for a CS:GO Overwatch hybrid, but will fall short for anyone looking for a creative new FPS. Riot Games disappointed me here.

    A really good FPS, the graphic style is simple, but that makes it even better. Although there are a few bugs, they get regularly patched. The gameplay is very fun. The skins are quite expensive, but the game is free to play.

    This game is prolly a 9/10 actually but I'm gonna give it 10/10 cause all the people crying giving it 0's cause they figure out they suck ass at Counter Strike and therefore suck ass at this game and go 0-14 then start crying saying the games bad cause there complete trash and can't figure out how to aim.

    Very cool design, huge fan of almost all the maps, very similar to csgo but differentiates itself from it with its gun play and abilities. super fun to play and would reccommend to anyone looking for a good fps

    This assessment is due to the terrible quality of the game, full copying and disgusting graphics. And also, by the fact that the developers of this **** support protests in the USA and the BLM (Balck Lives Matter) movement. This game deserves that kind of appreciation, and the developers deserve charity for their actions.

Right now it needs ranked gameplay. New users need to learn how to attack bomb sites as a team using there abilities, how to defend properly, rotation timing to different positions around the map. Skilled counter strike players will have this ability going into this game. Any other player coming from any game is at a disadvantage. I personally think every character should be able to buy a smoke and a flash bang orb. If the only characters to possess those abilities are dead and you need to take/retake a bomb site, without that utility winning the round is virtually impossible for higher tier play. I like the hitboxes and how accurate and pinpoint your shots are in comparison to Csgo, 100 times better server quality than Csgo. These ability’s put a new twist to the game. Players need to learn to communicate and work together. This is a shooter game of chess. If people do not communicate with a mic, or is not willing to work with there team to victory, don’t play this game. RANKED is needed to separate the skill gap, trolls, and rookies. FLASH ORBS and SMOKE ORBS should be able to be purchased. Otherwise defenders can’t peek certain information peeks without risking there life, and attackers cannot successfully take a bomb site if they are undermanned and the remaining characters do not possess a smoke or flash ability. Those are my notes. Amazing game. Pretty much a WAY better version of counterstrike. Overwatch users will hate the slow gameplay.… Expand

Now i know there is a range but TDM for warm up is way better then trying to use bots. and being a border line CSGO clone with majority of the game play is involving good aim they should of know this for release, which is why i think a lot people have already givin up on the game due toVery un-thought out release. game play is fun, Yes but the LAG SPIKES and CONECTION ISSUES are rampant. Removing every ultimate wouldn't be a bad start for Valorant, as they genuinely disrupt the game, everytime I want to make a move I shouldn't have to worry "Oh is the enemy resurrecting? Are they literally going to over-heal life from a dead corpse that makes killing them extremely hard?" It is bare bones in gun play and extremely over-saturated in abilities. The shields also make no sense, why is essentially removing all damage you put on someone all over, so cheap and ridiculously effective against most weapons (Minus the over-tuned spectre) which allows you to win gunfights. If I told you right now, that you could see an enemy's PERFECT outline through a wall because I shot an arrow and it bounced 2 times and the enemy couldn't see me and they had to turn to shoot it, would you call that balanced? Would you call POINT AND CLICK smokes on a minimap as soon as the round starts, also a good idea? Theoretically you'd say "Oh great now I have map control because of my hero's abilities and great play by me!" There is obviously a meta for heroes. which is so so so detrimental to a first person shooter, unlike games in overwatch where health is different and players play different roles, Valorant attempts to incorporate this as a small theme but makes choices feel lackluster unless they are meta picks. If there's anything I would not complain about, it 's probably the sheriff, most fun weapon in the game w/ a scout, essentially all I used anyway before uninstalling the game. The only upside is that this game is quick to install and realise "Oh this laughable game has too many errors, bugs and if they incorporate ranked, it is only going to fall into further decline" I think anyone who is a fan of FPS can reach a consensus that this game is not ready, for any play, no not competitive, literally any fun drawn from this game, is poking holes in this dead horse of a genre.… Expand

The game also feels completely lifeless. The abilities are pretty lack luster, the voice lines are bad, and the guns and gun play are awful. This game is pretty much a rip off of CSGO, and yet it doesn't capture the essence, timing, or soul of the game at all. It instead feels like a cold, calculated attempt of a game. The graphics are bad, the maps are too gimmicky, and there is no fun to be had. What a waste of my time.… Expand

    Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

    Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
