    It's refreshing new and definitely good fun. I say this and give it a seven because a game does not have to be good to be fun. However it COULD be a great game. The issue is it gets ruined by poor map design amongst other things. The game heavily encourages lurking by having about 30 different 'cubbies' on a map. When I say cubby i generally mean a corner dug out near the entrance to anIt's refreshing new and definitely good fun. I say this and give it a seven because a game does not have to be good to be fun. However it COULD be a great game. The issue is it gets ruined by poor map design amongst other things. The game heavily encourages lurking by having about 30 different 'cubbies' on a map. When I say cubby i generally mean a corner dug out near the entrance to an area that is outside of a players FOV when checking the other angles. I do not have an issue with cubbies themselves but it is frustrating that there are so many and that they are all so strong to hold. When peeking a cubby you leave yourself exposed to virtually every other angle. Also if you leave for more than a round in an unrated match you can get a one hour ban. Also also, this is a personal issue but the game despite running perfectly fine keeps crashing my computer and then proceeds to ban me and the Devs on reddit delete my posts almost instantly without a response. The essential concept of a CSGO style game with more whacky abilities is cool, but lacks in too many areas at the moment but they went for the early full release anyway. Probably gonna be another 'No man's Sky'… Expand

    Game feels insanely smooth to play. Character designs are interesting and the abilities really bring something new to the tact shooter genre. Can't wait to see this game go far for the next decade!

    This isn't the game that might be on the first look. There are a lot more mechanics from other competitive games. Even from MOBAs. After about 10 hours you start to understand that this is not just an abomination of CSGO+Owerwatch. Give it a try as it's truly worth it.

    I'm a casual gamer. Have never played shooters, especially 5v5's one. But when i started playing it, I actually had fun and still having it. Even despite matchmaking issues (cause being killed by CS:GO players is kinda sad, but I can understand, that it's hard to compare people's skill on launch, so no hate here). Graphics seems stylish for me. I guess, you should give it a try.

    The game features a range of characters to be played in the matches which come with a range of abilities advancing your gameplay, along with arsenal of guns from anything from a pistol to a sniper rifle.     The game features a range of characters to be played in the matches which come with a range of abilities advancing your gameplay, along with arsenal of guns from anything from a pistol to a sniper rifle. The game's UI and GUIs look amazing, in which other developers should inspire to look like.

    As of writing this review, there are four maps, which can become a bit repetitive after a while, as the maps feel a little small for the length of the games. As well as now only having two gamemodes, unrated (which I feel are a little too long) and spikerush (which I think is just too repetitive)

    Apart from just enjoying the individual matches, I feel there isn't much to work for in Valorant, like perhaps increasing your account level, which unlocks new things as you progress, or other rewarding items. The skins in the shop seem far to expensive, almost $50 for half a dozen skins.

    Overall, I feel like this game has been rushed out, it is lacking too many features in its current state to give this game a higher score than I have given it.

    Another game breaking feature is that the game is region locked, which if you have friends or people you want to play with in other regions, your gonna have to make a new account (using a vpn) or you are out of luck.    … Expand

    Great game with alot of potential, I'm excited to see what is Riot's roadmap. Even if its a copycat of multiple games, it managed bring freshness to the hardcore shooter genre like csgo. Although, the community seems to be really toxic but it's an inevitable issue to every competitive shooter.

    Could be better. Hacker ridden. Lack of server choosing or replay feature. Even the stuttering of their servers are garbage. Constantly putting me in a Spanish speaking server. Absolutely garbage. Has potential to be alot better. But their matchmaking is also terrible. Having a high KDA means you constantly get matched with garbage players and play against a good team.     Although there are still lacking features, no deathmatch mode, and missing quality of life systems like avoiding someone, it is great for anyone looking for a competitive shooter to pour hours into.     I really wanted to like Valorant, but I can't. Everything about this game was solely designed to be as tedious and bad as humanly possible.

    Let's start for one with the recoil. I don't know how you screw up recoil, but oh my god they did. Instead of a learnable recoil pattern, They decided to make it based on RNG, so that means to an extent, your kills rely on luck and not skill. I    I really wanted to like Valorant, but I can't. Everything about this game was solely designed to be as tedious and bad as humanly possible.

I don't know why you would ever do that, but they decided it was best. If you don't get an instant head shot or get the kill within the first 7 bullets, kiss the kill and your life goodbye. It just doesn't work for this game at all.

    Then let's get to the greed.
    How on earth can you make a game where you want a big emphasis on cool skins, and absolutely none of the cool ones are free? They made a battlepass which takes forever to grind, and if you don't buy the premium version, then you get a single gun skin after pouring straight up weeks into the game, and it's for the classic pistol. It does nothing cool at all, just looks pretty. Gun bundles cost you over 100 dollars, so if you wanna blow your stimulus check on something totally useless, there's that.

    Let's talk about the beta transition. In the game they have contracts to get you other useless free skins that don't look that great. I had to grind for a week straight to get one. They removed all beta progress and made everyone reset. It was totally and completely pointless. I have no idea why they did that but it's the stupidest choice I've seen made for this game so far.

    Then we have shooting through walls, which seems to only work when it wants too, because I haven't gotten it to work during firefights that I was headshot through a wall. The gun play in this game is extremely infuriating, most of your shots feel like they should kill but end up not doing so.

    Then they added in a new map, that you were forced to play on release date over and over, and it's horrible. I have no idea why they feel the need to shove this stuff into our faces.

    Solid game overall. I've never played CS:GO or any competitive shooter before Valorant, but I got the gist of it pretty quick and I'm having some good games. Extremely good readability, good performance in general (over 240fps, 1080p, max settings on a 1660ti mobile maxQ laptop) and very good sound design. The only real problem I have with Valorant is that it kinda lacks identity. It's aSolid game overall.     With an intrusive anti cheater. This game made my Windows OS break and I had to reinstall it. Besides that, the game is so unstable with ping, giving me sometimes a ping over 300. Graphically it's okay, but, still looks like a copy from other games. The gameplay is repetitive and boring sometimes with so many gameplays points copied from another famous game as Overwatch and CS GO.

    Great game! I love it to be honest. What i specificaly like is the agents in valorant, that's the best way and competitive gameplay. Worth a try!

    To me games looks extremely boring. Gameplay is dull, all weapons feels the same, taging is bul****t, removing picker adventage is not healthy IMO, Vangard sounds skechy and does not gives u 100% protection vs cheaters. What's more knowing balnace in riot games there will be a lot issues with balance sooner or later. Graphic looks way too outdated(Yes i know it should look clear and worksTo me games looks extremely boring.     The best FPS I have ever played. I think PPL that are crying here cuz the dnt know how a good FPS should look like. It is a bit buggy but devs are doing great job fixing them as soon as it is possible and it just started so I think it is normal. And they are listening to advices not like some other FPS devs do.

    This needed more time in the oven. Also, I don't want foreign software in my kernel.
    In these types of games, damage is a bad way to go for abilities. This changes the game into a spam fest and less of a shooter game. The focus needs to be shooting, not overpowered damage abilities. Look at Apex legends, none of those abilities are direct damage.

    Valorant is an interesting blend of two major titles, being Overwatch and CS:GO. It takes the gun play and precise movements from CS:GO and utilizes abilities similar to Overwatch, while not being overwhelming like the latter can be. This blend offers to more exciting and diverse game play and requires more strategy as every situation will be different.

    Riot is being lazy by trying to profit off of an existing formula. A good developer would create a fun and original game made form their own vision. Riot did not do that. They used their capital to steal players from an existing game. And of course they added 70 euro + skin packs from launch. It is very obvious what these devs want from you. The addictiveness of counterstrike and making you pay for it. Sorry Riot, you failed.     Mit 2500h CS:GO Erfahrung kann ich sagen das Valorant einiges besser als Counter-Strike macht. Die unterschiedlichen Abilities und Chars machen das Spiel super dynamisch und kurzweilig, daher bietet das Spiel auch eine deutlich höhere Varianz und macht das Gameplay um Längen interessanter. Nach meiner Meinung nach gibt es keinen Grund weiterhin CS zu spielen.

    It makes very much fun the only point that matters is that you can't leave lobbys when you have bad team mates. But away from that I think this is on of the best free and paid games.

If you have a problem with it running while you're not playing the game, you can head over to your system tray and exit it, there are hundreds of people hired to make this AC as good as it can be, and if you can find any exploits with it, you can go ahead and report it to Riot, because you'll receive 100k if you find an exploit, that's how confident Riot is in their anti-cheat.… Expand

    1)Игра никак не награждает за использование способностей. Смысл игры - стрелять из оружия, не более. При этом 90% способностей - обыкновенные перки с шутеров, которые просто теперь выглядят по-другому.
    2)Спасибо за античит, который постоянно нагружает компьютер, даже когда игра не запущена. Большего бреда я не видел.     I’m really enjoying the game, I always thought I just sucked at FPS games and that my shots never hit but in playing VALORANT, I’ve found that games rarely run on a high tick rate and that matters. Yes, VALORANT has its issues but nothing that cannot be fixed. The games graphics are different but they are fresh and colourful which is vastly different to the cartoon modern atmosphere I’veI’m really enjoying the game, I always thought I just sucked at FPS games and that my shots never hit but in playing VALORANT, I’ve found that games rarely run on a high tick rate and that matters. Yes, VALORANT has its issues but nothing that cannot be fixed. The games graphics are different but they are fresh and colourful which is vastly different to the cartoon modern atmosphere I’ve been used to for so many years in CSGO. The game is great, it’s a lot of fun to play and full of variable gameplay. Can’t wait to see what’s next. If I had to say one bad thing is that skins are expensive af but nothing new to riots monetisation but new to the FPS genre… Expand

    After 4hours, Uninstalled, the gameplay feels like an 2000s game with graphics of 2015, sound design is terrible, it feels slow, gunplay is basic, it can be a bit fun with friends, but they're better and funnier games that we are playing currently.

    I don't even play valorant but i hate review bombings so im giving a 10, because in reality for what i saw and what my friends tell me, its a really nice game, not a ripoff of CSGO, it has new fun mechanics. the only problem is the balancing, but the game has 3 days, just give it time.

    No Linux support. Anti Cheat on WIndows is intrusive as hell. Graphics are ugly as hell. Gameplay is a CS:GO and Overwatch clone baked into one game. It is SLOW, VERY SLOW. Gameplay is valium like.

    Also it is from RIOT Games, 100% owned by Tencent. A Company that I would never support.     Game feels very empty and bland. It's getting praise for it's art style and graphics and I can't fathom why; It looks like slightly more polished ps2 graphics.

    All of that aside you SHOULD NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME as it literally comes with malware. Research before installing at least!

    Whoever said that, but I liked the game. I play with CBT, I survived a bunch of bugs. Nevertheless, I believe that the game has good prospects because of the correct approach of the developers. Well, you can compare games endlessly, and this is the most useless activity in the world. Like - play, do not like, do not play. That's all)

    I have played CS for years and i love this game, there are clearly many other CS players hating on this game and they are entitled to but i feel as this is blind hate and they do not realise what this game means for CS as a whole. They should be actively encouraging this for competition. With competition there is improvement on both sides.

    I by no means believe the game is perfect but i feel considering the game is free it is a very good product. I have had my own fair share or annoyances with server side issues but that does not bother me as im sure that will go with time. I think the similar combat to cs go is quite fun and the guns have their own spray patterns, which is also why i think CS players are hating on the game, as the spray pattern isn't the exact same. At the end of the day the game is a competitor not a copy. I think people keep wanting certain features to be more like CS but then complain when there are features like CS calling it a copy. The abilities breath fresh air into the game and are fun to try and use in smart ways for bluffs and certain tactics and for the most part feel like a sideline part of the game rather than the primary source of killing. Of course there are some exceptions but i feel as though there aren't many in number and don't feel OP just more annoying. The visual style may not appeal to everyone but its a smart idea as it allows a wider range of computers to run the game, combined with the game being free, this allows for a big player base keeping the game alive longer. Don't get me wrong though i am clearly aware of with free games, comes more smurfing but i guess im used to that from all the League of Legends i play but it is still definitely a negative. At the end of the day i think the game is very fun and i have had hours of enjoyment already without having to spend any money at all. There are problems but i feel they are outweighed by the fact it is free and the positives make up the negatives.    … Expand

    The game in today's state is, of course, objectively worse than CS:GO. But with the Riot as the developer, I feel a great potential for the game. If we look at League of Legends, Riot have always been supportive and had a great feedback to their players. I, personally, don't play League, but I know, that Riot does their job very well, and we might even see competition between CS:GO and Valorant in the future. As to mechanics: it is very similar to its competitor, which works good for players, who got bored of CS:GO (the only difference being hero skills and utility). However, Valorant has to do a good work balancing it, and because the game heavily relies on characters its going to be a tough job for the whole development team (balancing both characters and maps at the same time might prove to be difficult, but I'm still very optimistic).
    In term of graphics - this game does looks outdated, but it helps people with older systems to play and have fun.
    Again: I'm very optimistic about the future of the game, and looking forward to see what it can bring to competitive shooter scene.
    We just have to wait and see, and hope that Riot knows what they're doing.    … Expand

    As said by a lot of players and professionals, the game is definitely not ready to be released yet but, nonetheless the game is still great fun and combines two great video game genres, a Tactile FPS and a Hero shooter.
    Would recommend to anyone who doesn't think it's a straight up clone of CS:GO.

    Incredible game, CS made easy to start playing and free to play with good monetization (the battle pass is good value/money everything else id for whales but it´s totally ok). They still have to improve in the number of maps and optimization to live up to the high expectations that they set for themselves, but is has made a lot of progress in short time since Beta!

    Great game, definitely a big CS:GO rival. The only issues are : weird matchmaking, a lot of AFK's and no option for bot player like in CS and no rankeds so far and a lot of trolls due to that. Otherwise game is great, did everything CS:GO should have done few years ago and I hope they will keep working on the game to beat CS:GO in the final :)

После ввода античита, игра по началу вообще отказалась запускаться, потом обновили античит, игра запустилась но начались потери пакетов, просадки с 300fps до 60, это на системе 9700к/2080s/32Ram все на ссд. После вообще начались баны, забанено уже 4 аккаунта,3-6 игр и бан, ТП не может сказать как это исправить, да и ждешь ответа от 5 до 10 дней, поддержки никакой вообще нет, заинтересованности в решении проблем так же нет, по сути тебя просто посылают только культурными словами, максимум предлагают удалить все программы/драйвера для материнской платы и видеокарты, видимо думают, что их проект настолько хорош, что я должен купить отдельно SSD, ставить на него голою систему и валорант и при игре буду просто менять ssd в ПК. Играть начал с 1 дня ЗБТ, впечатления просто отвратительные. Привлекает только то что это что-то новое, но с такими косяками мирится - себя не уважать.… Expand

Хотелось бы увидеть чем она станет через год или более, всё таки в игре есть потенциал.

    It's a good game if you are bored and want to become even more bored. Terrible everything. The gunplay is one of the worst ive experienced, maps are really boring and repetitive. Pacing of the game is horrible. The cartoony design makes me want to puke. Don't play this game.

    Some people think this game is just a rip off of csgo. I think that is completely untrue, and is just something for people who want a more ability based game. I think the skins are great, for a reasonable price, and the game is free to start off, as well as having unique graphics, and great gunplay. 10/10

    Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

    Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
