    It's exactly what i thought it would be, a thought as nails, csgo like shooter, with less focus on abilities akin to apex legends, and an insanely high skill ceiling. I am not a csgo player, nor am i good at shooters in general, but i can appreciate the game for what it is and continue to play for a long time. The only thing that keeps it down is that there are a few performance issues andIt's exactly what i thought it would be, a thought as nails, csgo like shooter, with less focus on abilities akin to apex legends, and an insanely high skill ceiling.     I've been having a very good time with this game. It's quite challenging, but that makes it even more rewarding to do well.

    Very good job! MacBook Pro 15 (2012 mid) 2.6, 16 Gb, GeForce 650M 1 Gb — incredibly FPS! Gameplay is enough exciting.

    This game is enjoyable, but only when it works, and it works about 1/8 of the time. Maps have too many corners and angles to keep track of, gunplay and recoil feels random and unpredictable compared to CS:GO's, and hit detection and hit boxes are just plain bad. If headshots actually connected when they were supposed to, if peekers advantage wasn't as prevalent, and if the gunplay wasn'tThis game is enjoyable, but only when it works, and it works about 1/8 of the time. Кроме дэбильных верёвок (они служат игрокам подниматься вверх на платформу выше, но встречается на одной карте в одном месте и всё)

    Вот взять тож же самый овердроч, в неём прям уууфф вот этим он мне от части и нравился когда то... Нравился своим ТОТАЛЬНЫМ ПРОРАБОТАННЫМ М И Р О М. Всё развивается на ветру: ткани, листья на деревьях, флаги и т.д. Можно в любой объект выстрелить и он улетит либо сломается (натуре прикольно). На карте можно устроить полнейший бардак, накидать всяких предметов и они даже могу МЕШАТЬ! ЭТО КЛАССНО!!! На Китайской карте вообще на фоне могу бабахать фейерверки.
    Что же есть в валоранте... эм... э... мо... мож.. а нет, он максимально упрощённый. ВСЯ карта - это статичный прикол по которому ты бегаешь и никак не взаимодействуешь (даже в старой сука кс го что то лежит и может легко разрушиться при выстреле). Деревья в валоранте, если их можно как таковыми назвать, вообще не шатаются на ветру. А! Я Вспомнил. Иногда по песчаной улице ХОДИТ ветерок и своей ПРОГУЛКОЙ сдувает с плиток пыль (но это настолько незаметно, что даже если ты это и увидел в первые, то просто забываешь и всё). Мелочей в игре НЕТ! (ПЛОХООО)

    +ЗВУК В ИГРЕ (+- нормальный). Пушки стреляю не так как в овере, но пойдёт.
    +ПЕРСОНАЖИ И ИХ УМЕНИЯ СБАЛАНСИРОВАНЫ. Хотя есть один перс... ну да ладно, фиксанут)
    +FPS ПИЗДАТ, потому что игра КАК Я УЖЕ ПИСАЛ ВЫШЕ - ПРОСТАЯ ДО УСРАЧКИ, потянет даже на ведре.
    +ПИНГ (+- приемлем) ВОЗЬМЁМ ТОТ ФАКТ, ЧТО ЩА ДОВОЛЬНО СИЛЬНЫЙ НАПЛЫВ ИГРОКОВ И ОБЩЕЕ СОЕДИНЕНИЕ С КЛИЕНТОМ МОЖЕТ ПРЕРЫВАТЬСЯ. К слову, у меня за 31 час игры, было такое дважды.
    +ИМПАКТ ОТ ОРУЖКИ - УСТРАИВАЕТ. ОНО ОРУЖИЯ ОЧЕНЬ МАЛО(
    Как итог, неплохой шутер "на бумаге", а по факту сырой кусочек какульки(

    ce jeux n'a rien avoir avec cs:go, c'est une pure et pale copie, ils ont pris les pires élements de overwatch et de cs pour les regrouper sous valoran, la pure daube!

    Come on guys, this game isn't threatening the integrity of the games industry or anything. There can, and absolutely should be competing games to Counter-Strike and Overwatch, and this game provides enough novel ideas for it to feel fresh and exciting.
    My real score is 8.5/10.

    Valorant belongs to a group of e-sports known as tactical shooters, focusing on gunplay, tactics, economy and teamwork.
    It is fantastically compelling as a team experience, but is not reccomended if you have nobody else to play it with.
    The game is only going to get better as time goes on, and I'm sure that even with all this purile review bombing it will continue to grow and strengthen the entire tactical shooter genre of e-sports.    … Expand

    -Игра выпущена компанией Riot Games. (Эти "черти" умеют делать годноту и слушать пользователей)
    -Низкий порог вхождения и фру ту плей. (достаточно посмотреть 7 минутное видео на ютубе с обзором скиллов персонажей и сыграть по 2 раза на каждой карте, а стрельба практически идентична CS:GO)    10 конечно завышено, но это только потому что игру незаслуженно задаунрейтили. ЕЕ плюсы это:

    -Нет ограничения скилл лвла, т.е. тебе не достаточно просто хорошо стрелять, нужно комбинировать это с умениями персонажа.
    Главный минус:
    "Мало контента"
    - 4 карты, которые даже выбрать нельзя, иногда 6 раз на одной и той же играешь.
    - Нет death match серверов и т.п.
    - Дисбаланс в подборе рейтинговых игр, мне в бронзу закидывало платину, и не раз.
    - Есть технические недоработки, у кого с пингом проблемы, у кого-то с антивирусом, у кого-то фпс проседает, но поддержка всегда пытается помочь,если возникают такие проблемы.
    ВЕРДИКТ: Игра на твердую семерку, все минусы я уверен будут пофикшены в будущем , но для ФРИ ТУ ПЛЕЙ, напоминаю ФРИ ТУ ПЛЕЙ проекта, очень годно даже сейчас.    … Expand

    Sluggish gameplay movement with poor animations. Mobile quality graphics with equal low quality art. Gunplay feels ultra generic, as do agent abilities. Speaking of, there is some tremendous imbalance with them. Map design is poor at best. Shop prices are overpriced for poor art items. Let's not forget about the anticheat system debacle, which was horendous, reducing performance in otherSluggish gameplay movement with poor animations. Was expecting a game that would surpass the main game it's based off of which is forever old, but it hasn't. Game is not ready to play yet for sure. Needed months more of polish. Maybe come back to it in a year and see if it improved. Right now it is boring to watch, and even more boring to play.    … Expand

    - Dmg recording is still bugged eg. shoot from bucky/shorty/judge from 3m into oponent chest game says nah bro, u do 0 dmg. next eg. is vandal from headshot awlays deal 156 dmg - shoot oponent chest and head then game say to you nah bro, u dealt 86. - Bad looking models - Toxic    - Comes update: 1/4 of it its one little bug fix and 3/4 of it is makeing a new ones.

    I'm not a fan of the art direction either, the style just doesn't blend together well - the character do not fit the map design, it's a visual mess.

    I have played CS:GO for a long time and i have some experience of playing shooters. I have played Valorant, and i felt there the mechanic of CS with another graphic. I think they did it to make it easier for players to switch to Valorant from CS. But i do not really understand the thing with super abilities. There is some cheating abilities.

    I wanted to give this game a good review, I really did. I even dropped some cash for the battle pass since I've enjoyed the game since closed beta and wanted to support the developers. Unfortunately, Riot Vanguard, the anti-cheat software Valorant utilizes, is for a lack of a better word, a root kit. I've played since the beta with not many problems, but once the game released on the 2ndI wanted to give this game a good review, I really did. I even dropped some cash for the battle pass since I've enjoyed the game since closed beta and wanted to support the developers. Unfortunately, Riot Vanguard, the anti-cheat software Valorant utilizes, is for a lack of a better word, a root kit. I've played since the beta with not many problems, but once the game released on the 2nd and I played for one night, Vanguard reared it's ugly head.

    Since you need to restart your PC if you disable Vanguard after playing (it stays on whether you are playing or not) I did so the next day, hoping I could continue to play the game. Well, Vanguard uses a kernel-level driver that boots up right as your PC does, which is already pretty alarming, but I figure I'll allow it as long as it doesn't mess with my PC, right? My computer proceeds to hang up on boot, refusing to move past the first screen. This makes me force a shut down via the power button, and rebooting. PC boots up fine now, but what's this? Vanguard failed to initialize at boot, meaning I can't even play Valorant if I wanted to! 3 re installs and no fix. Either my PC disregards Vanguard and boots normally, or Vanguard tries to load and bugs out, freezing my computer in the process. Good thing I just spent money on the game the day before in good faith, silly me! It's been 24hrs and Riot has of course not gotten back to me whatsoever, I'd like to mention.

    My story is just the start. This software has been reported to brick PCs, block vital software from PC manufactures, make systems run abnormally hot, etc. Just take a quick look into this Riot Vanguard and see for your self. In short, Vanguard is an unnecessarily intrusive piece of mal-ware that has spoiled the game for me, and thus the review. The 1 is because I think the game is fun, the rest of the rating is because I cannot play the game due to Riot Vanguard. Instead of listing the pros and cons of the actual game and giving an overall positive review, I'd rather warn potential consumers of the stunts Riot are trying to pull to battle "hackers" and "cheaters". Admirable, but when your genuine customers start being punished by said anti-cheat is where I draw the line. Stay away from this game for now if you value your PC. If they ever put a leash on this borderline virus, I'll come back and maybe be able to recommend this to you. Thanks for reading.    … Expand

I'm uncomfortable with kernel-level drivers in general, but with every other kernal-level anti-cheat system currently on the market (Easy Anti-Cheat, BattleEye, ect.) they're only active while you have the game it monitors running. Vanguard launches when you boot your PC and cannot be disabled. This means if Vanguard is ever compromised every system with it installed will have a backdoor to EVERYTHING. People with this access can do whatever they want to these systems. Some examples; steal information, monitor usage, install malware/ransomware, you name it. The sky's the limit with access to ring 0.

    Add in the fact that Riot is 100% owned by Tencent (which is practically a branch of the CCP) and I cannot bring myself to leave this game on my machine. I'd rather some cheaters fall through the cracks and get reported by the community than give you this level of access to my system.

The game has it's problems but it is exactly what it sets out to be. A fresh free shooter with aspects of 2 paid to play games. I understand CSGO is technically free but lets be honest if you don'tIf you need any sort of explanation as to why the game is currently receiving a less than positive review on MetaCritic, just take a quick scan of the coherency of 95% of the negative reviews. The game has it's problems but it is exactly what it sets out to be. A fresh free shooter with aspects of 2 paid to play games. I understand CSGO is technically free but lets be honest if you don't have Prime Status you don't get anti-cheat. That being said I suspect a large portion of the negative reviews have yet to discover all of the intricacies and combinations behind each character and class. There is a bit of a sour taste for people who may be struggling to grasp the game mechanics but I can already tell you that the creativity in play-making has been a lot of fun and very exciting thus far. I have been playing since day one and have had little issues with the servers and have purchased the battle pass without issue as well. I tend to start my sessions off with a few rounds in the shooting range on medium/hard difficulty to warm up which I find to be a really awesome under-rated feature for getting reactions primed for game play. Overall it's got huge potential, after all, it is one of the largest publishers in the industry.… Expand

    Honestly I love the game! It's a fun game especially with a few friends! It just released so there are a few bugs that the dev team are working on but honestly they have had great communication and transparency through everything! I had some audio issues so I emailed support and they responded the next day and my issue got fixed. Gameplay is great! If you're unsure give it a shot! I cannotHonestly I love the game!     Ну что могу сказать, один из главных обсёров года. Античит говно, комьюнити агрессивные школьники, которые готовы "разорвать" за свой кусок говна под названием Valorant.     Valorant is a slower paced, more deliberate take on tactical FPS that injects character identity with the asymmetrical agents and their utility-oriented kits. The gunplay feels very tight and the games are a good length between the 45-60 minute classic mode (first to 13 defusal mode) or the 5-10 minute Spike Rush (first to 4 defusal mode with random guns).

    The only feature holding the    Valorant is a slower paced, more deliberate take on tactical FPS that injects character identity with the asymmetrical agents and their utility-oriented kits. The gunplay feels very tight and the games are a good length between the 45-60 minute classic mode (first to 13 defusal mode) or the 5-10 minute Spike Rush (first to 4 defusal mode with random guns).

    The only feature holding the game back from being a 10 for me is the monetization. The game features a Battle Pass based on XP earned in game and an in-game shop. The Battle Pass is a great value with varied and frequent rewards for only $10. The shop features a weekly featured skin collection and 4 daily rotating offers. The guns themselves are a bit on the expensive side, but this becomes brutally apparent with the collections. As of writing, the Prime collection the game launched with is around $70. There are freebies in the bundle, but each gun is around $10-$20 and the knives were anywhere between $20-$35. Fixing the shop would make this game a 10/10 for me.    … Expand

    Stolen characters, mechanics and shooting (from CS and Overwatch) with bad optimization, extremely poor graphics and physics. I don't believe this game is going to have any success in the future. RIOT should spend their billions to programmers, not to paint LoL skins or buying ADs. Biggest game-dev failure in a long time.

    The game is pretty great, it has some balancing issues but those will be fixed with time as the game evolves and more characters are added. The maps are okay for the most part they are'nt groundbreaking by any means but they all work and are playable however the map Haven was an awful idea, fun on attack but its a slog on defense.     CSGO has the nostalgia and years upon years of extremely refined mechanics,
    Quake champions is... well... the only way to play quake in modern times...
    But valorant just feels... out of place, maybe?

    Sorry if I'm not much help, but that's just how I felt while playing it for 30h+

    Small edit: Right, I forgot about TF2, my bad... TF2 was probably a reasonable comparison point, but I feel like the mechanics were waaay more refined there and the class system made it just that different from the rest.     The ultimates that can kill you across the map, it feels terrible to play against, even if there might be some counterplay, it doesnt feel right. at the end of the day someone just presses a button on his keyboard and if you dont have the perfect response you would automatically die.

    the maps are pretty bad. every map is a bunch of deep 90 degrees corner camping fiesta.
    every corridor feels like the one right next to it.
    to distinguish one map from another they added a gimmick to each map: teleporters on bind, no mid on split, 3 bomb sites on haven.
    only the new map that they have added is relatively "standard" (is that its gimmick? being standard?).
    what im trying to say is that instead of having a different feel for every map, they all feel the same to me, with an exception to the different gimmick that they all have.

    the defined role of every character is kind of boring, kind of reduces the amount of ways you can play as a player.
    for example, brimstone/sage are support, phoenix is an entry fragger, breech can flash his way into a site but cant block sightlines on his own in a clutch or during post plant, ect...
    In valorant your character selection defines your playstile, where in CS the player defines his own playstile.
    mastering the game mechanics and map knowledge is what enables you to be a good entry fragger, or a good support player, or a good clutch player
    what im trying to say, is that in CS the baseline is even, and the choices you make in game decides the outcome of the round, or even the game, and you have all the possibilities to play every style you want, instead of doing it in the pregame select screen and be stuck with it for the rest of the game

    also, the addition of characters like sova and cypher is so wrong in this type of game.
    you basically take game sense and map awareness, and you throw it out the window.
    who even needs a brain when you can stick a camera to some wall, deploy a trap, shoot wallhack arrows and the occasional death laser, or use a global map hack

    and of course, there is vanguard.
    i turned it off between play sessions, because i dont trust them to not destroy something about my motherboard or GPU drivers, and i forgot about it, so when i opened up the game again, i was greeted by some message about vanguard and having to reboot my PC, i didnt think much about it and i just clicked the button
    my PC shut down instantly, i wasnt given an option to cancel, closing all of my files, tabs and programs, and making me deal with windows update.
    you can say its my fault for not realizing it when i was telling the game to reboot my PC, and you would probably be right. i felt incredibly dumb 3 seconds after i pressed that button.
    but i have never had a game restart my PC before, it just didnt register with my brain at that moment that this is what was going to happen.

    so yeah, just add my not so bright moment to the collection of issues that other people reported having with vanguard, it adds up to a pretty terrible user experience

    P.S.
    just a tip for other people who are looking to uninstall the game, you have uninstall vanguard separately from your machine as it will not uninstall itself when you uninstall the main game    … Expand

    Biggest reason I stopped playing: Vanguard. This anti-cheat software allows a kernel-0 access to your computer and display a lot a false positive. Disabling some critical drivers / functions in your system at random (enjoy loosing your CPU cooling system while playing a CPU intensive game).     Eh, I don't know. It just doesn't feel like a "2020 gen" game. It's just a (somehow) worse version of CS with Overwatch themed heroes. Not even going to get into the rootkit level "anti cheat" (that doesn't even **** work).

    I feel like if they would make the games "First to 7" instead of 13, it would be much more enjoyable because you wouldn't be held hostage in a bad game. Rework the weapons and add more of them. Balance the heroes and remove the extreme Kill Potential from some heroes kits, and make the game less "campy."

    The fact that you have to completely stop moving in order to shoot with any modicum of accuracy is astonishing to say the least. There is no run and gun at all, you just pitch up a tent and wait for people to walk around blind corners.    … Expand

    Pros - The GUI, tutorial and training mode is nice.

    Con - This Game is really slow and boring, The guns all seam the same. The matches take forever to play.

    Very disappointed with all the hype coming in.

    The reviews has bee harsh on this game and i dont see the reason. It is fun to play once you get used to the mechanics of the game, as its not as fast-paced as CoD or Apex. It is obviously inspired by CS:GO, but because of the different characters and their powers, it feels fresh.

    3. Inability to balance different characters
    4. Customization for real money
    5. Very strong change in accuracy from slightest movements

During the beta the hype made me very hopeful for this game but when i got my hands on it i was very disappointed, the comparison of CSGO and OVERWATCH mixed is kind of true but if i wanted to play a FPS with good mechanics and overall just better game play i would choose CSGO and if i wanted to play an fps with abilities and different characters to choose from I would choose OVERWATCH. Valorant tries to copy both of these games but just fails at it and makes it almost unplayable… Expand

    To be honest i've been playing since closed beta and i am not a kid crying at rito BUT hell this game is pure trash.
    Firstly they made 128 tick servers, yes that's perfect BUT THE GAME IS LAGIER THAN A CS GO 64 TICK SERVER !!!! I mean people have only 144 fps plus only on rtx 2070s ? like what the heck.....
    Secondly poor balance on the agents !!!
    Thirdly and that's actual fact. BAD MAP DESIGN ! Just because they picked up a map designer that made cs maps doesnt mean it will work for them. Plus some layouts are copied from cs maps into valorant's world.
    Last one. WHY DO YOU WANT 50-100 EUROS FOR A SET OF 3 SKINS ? RIOT what is that ? I know you guys wonna make money but god damn ! I prefer to give my money to gaben over on cs than this game....

    csgo/league of legends/paladins knock off with no real appeal. I’d literally rather get killed by 9 year olds on fortnite than play this game. disappointing release and annoying that I can’t play with most of my friends, who play on console.

    The game is cool. 70% of the CSGO and 30% of the overwatch match perfectly. But sometimes it seems that the game is capable of more and as if a little more microtransactions than necessary. I do not like cartoon style, but here it is not felt. In general, I like the game.

    What is it trying to be? Its not a competitive shooter because a lot of rng and just unfair "abilities". It also plays much slower than overwatch and the gubplay feels wonky at times. I wqs so frustrated some times with the fact that you can never know where an enemy will come fom and retakes wre soooo bad. Thr map design is worthless.

Why do you go into a shooter that is clearly marketed that way and expect the graphics to be like Battlefield or other shooters that clearly pay attention to the visuals.

    I feel like all the negative reviews are written by people who either barely played the game except for a few hours and are just trying to unload some of their salt because the game got hyped. Or people who CLEARLY did not research the game whatsoever and went in with expectations that can't be filled since they don't even like the genre of the game.

    The game has everything an exciting tactile FPS game needs. I do agree with a lot of the people saying that the game feels rushed, the game definitely needs some polishing and a bigger map pool. The character abilities still feel interesting, there is different types of characters that fit different playstyles so everyone should find one that they think is fun. Gun play feels really smooth, their issues with hit registration were fixed and the servers have been running great.

    Even on my 4+ year old PC the game runs with a good 200+ FPS.

    The higher ranked you get, the more intricate and difficult the game gets. Players know set ability spots, they rotate much faster, they mix things up instead of running to the same default position every round. The game feels A LOT more tactile once you get into mid diamond - immortal ranks.

    I'm not surprised people that don't care about competitive gameplay don't like a shooter clearly advertised to be a hardcore competitive FPS game. If you don't like the core gameplay, thats fair, then the game was clearly not for you but don't criticize the game for things the game clearly wanted to have.    … Expand

    From what I've seen gunfights are still extremely important but people are actually using their brains rather than 5 man rushing everywhere every round

    Tactical gameplay, not the best maps, but good indeed. Haven't played it since the beta. But it could get better.

    Played for a week during the beta then uninstalled. Tried to re-download after launch, but the anti-cheat has been causing my computer to blue screen constantly, and the game won't open. Not only doesn't the game not work, it also can break your PC. Hopefully a fix for this is released, because I'd love to try the game again.

It has problems with readability and intuitiveness. Over time, you begin to understand it and it becomes very understandable and intuitive, but for beginners, both in this game and in games in general, it will be very difficult to understand it. For me Valorant is seen as long-lived, because I knows Riot games they will be engaged in the development of both the game itself and the things associated with it.

    As someone who comes from Overwatch (the other game in which people compare this to, even though the only related things are "Agents", skills and ultimates), this game is incredibly slow paced for me. Movement feels dragging, and the game favors camping. It's like you're better off just sitting still if you want to avoid bullets than moving around. The guns don't feel right, and more times than not the skills and ultimates can be counter-productive to use. They probably wanted it to be more like real life and make it more of a challenge, and I get that, but it just makes me NOT want to use certain skills for the sake of my team and me.

    I majorly dislike the game and I don't think it's for me because it's way too slow, and it's easy to pick off people if you're in a good spot. Maybe in the official release that game improved, maybe not. My patience isn't high enough to return to this game yet, and when I do, I'll give a more up-to-date review.     I think this is a good game, of course it's just released and here not so many content, but gameplay is still interesting. Character desing is grate, maps is not bad, my only claim is Sova's ultra ability, cause it's almost always useless. I think we just need to give time for this game for making more content

    Poorly built game that has tried to copy from other games but failed to hit what made them great.
    The graphics are very poor honestly for a 2020 game with frame rate issues. The game is also very clunky and feels like early alpha stages

    Wow this game is just a poor cs clone. They wanted to make a game where it rips off a game and just splash a tiny bit of something different. Problem is the game is just poor. The game itself looks unfinished and just ugly and they just made this for twitch hype. don't bother go play an actual good game

It got overhyped as the next mega release simply based on its Twitch viewers (and the fact it comes from Riot),    The only reason why I'm not giving this game a 0 is its optimization.     From the day brax was signed as the first professional and beta was out, I knew what this game would turn out to be. It got overhyped as the next mega release simply based on its Twitch viewers (and the fact it comes from Riot), 98% of which were AFKing streams or watching them for a drop to try a game that would ultimately end up being disappointing both in the earliest stages of the beta and after the actual release.
    A ton of streamers used Valorant as an opportunity to revive their long dead channels, which actually worked out for most of them for the time being, and now they're back into obscurity again.
    A ton of North American CS:GO pros also moved to this game because the NA CS scene is marginally smaller than the EU scene. The NA scene, while smaller, is easier to break through and enter the international scene through, where NA teams would historically get smashed by EU teams because they are a joke along with all of their players, simply because they don't work hard enough and well enough, which brings them onto the Valorant scene that they are aware is a one-time cash grab that will probably send them into obscurity in a couple of months.
    I don't see a world where anyone is moving to Valorant because the game is more fun or more competitive than CS:GO, because that world does not exist.

    Why?

    Valorant was indirectly presented to us as this CS:GO killer, and coming from the Daddy Riot, everyone expected everything to be true and more.
    The first Project A teaser cleverly outlined the biggest issues with CS (low tickrate servers, peeker's advantage, and most notably the anti-cheat system), and they were so sure that they'll manage to release a game without any of these issues, especially the anti-cheat, that they even mentioned several times that wallbanging every surface is highly encouraged because they were so 100% sure that cheating in their game will be impossible. They were almost taunting the cheaters, but little did they know.
    As it turns out, a few days into the closed beta almost every single game was riddled with wall or aim hackers, both closet and blatant, and it's like that to this very day. Peekers advantage was worse than in your average Chinese free to play first person shooter game with a half-naked woman on its logo, while their so-called 128 tick servers felt worse to play in than playing a CS:GO 64 tick matchmaking server on 80 ping.
    Some of the abovementioned things got finetuned in the process, but it still feels like a game that shouldn't have been released in 2020 because of how unfinished it feels.
    And I don't even wanna get started on the gunplay and abilities. The hitboxes are awful, most guns (and especially snipers) feel very clunky, the skill floor is very high because you don't need to counter strafe to regain full accuracy, and the skill ceiling with guns is very low since the abilities, which are said to be "complementary" to the gunfights, give you huge advantages in gunfights, and on the highest level you'll rarely have a fair 1v1 aim duel without someone throwing something your way. which ends up making you feel like everything has been rushed and is clunky.

    All in all, many fans of many games expected this game to be a good experience that they could fall back on (or even fully move to) once they get disappointed by their main game. But this game turned out to be the biggest joke of a release in recent memory, and while Riot is definitely gonna improve a thing or two, this game in its core was dead before it was released and that's sad.    … Expand

    Valve has ignored it's community for far too long. It took them getting smashed on twitch to start getting their stuff together but it's an ignored community too late.     - The anti-cheat, I think it’s called vanguards, is very intrusive. - From my experience so far, the abilities make it very cluttered and kinda like overwatch as a spectator esport, although I don’t think it’s as bad as overwatch which was at times unwatchable for new players, but definitely a massive step away from the simplicity that is counter strike. - (subjective) I don’t personally like the weapon design, feels very clunky and forced. Example, the AWP in CSGO in my opinion is just so much more stylish and satisfying to get a kill with than the OPERATOR in VALORANT, but maybe that’s just me. - (Subjective) I personally don’t feel like the spray control is as skill based as that in CSGO. Very very easy to pick up. Overall I like the game and it can definitely be a good esport title. I don’t think it’ll be quite the CSGO killer people were hyping it up to be, but I definitely think it’ll be as big as say the OWL?    … Expand

    Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

    Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
