    A mediocre and what looks like an un -polished fps that was released to rival polished and established fps games with cult followings and supporters.

    Games and rounds felt too long for a casual game. Gameplay and controls felt clunky, something you would expect from a game made in the early 2000s.     Clean visual style with a deliberate gameplay style of being slow and methodical one second and then explosive action the next. Its got some issues that need to be fixed but nothing game breaking. If you enjoy games like CS then you might enjoy Valorant. And as a bonus its free to play.

    On a side note... I remember when people raged over how Overwatch just copied Team Fortress 2, and    Clean visual style with a deliberate gameplay style of being slow and methodical one second and then explosive action the next. Its got some issues that need to be fixed but nothing game breaking. If you enjoy games like CS then you might enjoy Valorant. And as a bonus its free to play.

    On a side note...
    I remember when people raged over how Overwatch just copied Team Fortress 2, and every FPS game in the early 90s was just a Doom clone, or how tons of games after Halo limited your weapon slots to 2, or how PUBG created a wild fire of Battle Royale games. Valorant is no different from any other game in the industry borrowing popular ideas and putting its own spin on it.

    Even my **** laptop can run at 30-40fps the frame rate which is playable for some people
    I'm just a normal player from R6 Siege and CS GO. Honestly, Valorant make me feels difference between these game.     ABOUT THE 0/10 REVIEWS:
    Most people complain about this game not being what they want it to be, instead of judging the game for what it is. For instance, some people complain about the fact that Valorant is taking features and ideas from both CSGO & Overwatch, without "adding something new to the table". I think this is a horrible reason to give a game 0/10 since many great games take ideas from previous games and make something unique out of it. It is in my opinion that a game can be excellent without innovating the video game industry and Valorant is a good example of this.

    GAMEPLAY:
    I enjoy the fact that the modes available at launch respect the players time. There is the regular, more competitive mode as well as a shorter mode for when you don't have much time ahead of you. For those of you who don't know by know, Valorant's gameplay is a fusion between CSGO tactical shooter and Overwatch abilities. Overall, the game is closer to CSGO because of the mode, guns, economy, etc. Also, the abilities in Valorant are, in general, support abilities only (with a few exceptions). The gunplay feels snappy and responsive and each gun offers a different experience in terms of recoil, spread, sound, reload animation. It's great, maybe above-average, but not revolutionary.

    GRAPHICS:
    This aspect of the game is one where low score reviews have a good point. The graphics of the game are nothing to be impressed by 2020's standards. I understand that Riot Games prioritized performance, ease of access and optimization over graphic fidelity, and who knows, maybe it will affect their bottom line positively since even people with low-end PC's can play the game, but at the end of the day, if these outdated graphics push you away, I wouldn't blame you.

    LORE:
    Knowing Riot Games, I expect them to expand on the lore over time. So far, they did a great job at providing a wide variety of agents and they all feel distinct. I'm not someone who absolutely needs "representation" in a video game, but the way they have been introducing the characters so far feels very organic and I can appreciate that.

    SOUNDS:
    Nothing much to mention here. The main theme feels modern, not too discrete but not too busy either. The gun sounds feel appropiate, but again, nothing revolutionary here.

    CONNECTIVITY:
    I did not encounter any connectivity or ping issue so far. It is worth noting that I'm happy about this because it is not rare to see new games with hiccups.

    SKINS AND OTHER BUYABLE STUFF:
    I think Riot Games needs to work, or keep working, on providing skins and content that will appeal to a wide variety of players, not only the players that are rich. I understand that lots of work go into creating unique guns and cosmetics, but at the end of the day, if Riot Games monetization only depends on the 1% "whales" (ultra-rich players with addiction), the vast majority of the players will be unhappy with the costs.    … Expand

    Valorant has great voice acting, but that is where the positives end. The game feels like it wants to be a hero tactical shooter, and in turn fails at both. The gameplay is too slow and boring to be a good hero shooter and the abilities make it too difficult for anyone who isn't great at FPS games.     You can't just go in for a quick game, where sure maybe you'll get pubstomped, but you'll be out of it quickly and able to try again. No, Valorant as of right now 6/6/2020, has no mode that feel good to play from a casual stand point and no mode that would fit the role of 'quick play'.
    At the end of the day this game will have to choose between being a full fledged hero shooter, or a 'tactical shooter with super powers' that is nowhere as cool as that title might allude to it being.    … Expand

    It’s honestly just really really boring there’s not much really special about it. People say it’s like overwatch and cs, I would also add rainbow six into the mix because it’s more tactical and it would work if it was more balanced and overall just more interesting it’s quite boring and there’s not much really special about it.

    Playable on every computer, no bugs, no problems, very nice gameplay, Its free to play, we had lots of fun with this game so far.

    An honest review. I have never played any other games from riot other than this but I do have over 600 hours in csgo. And its... decent. Its new and interesting and has potential but its lacking in alot of areas. There's only 2 game modes, casual and competitive yet the the exact same thing.     Decent shooter but there are lots of those. This doesnt really add to much and is just somewhere between csgo and overwatch. Its really cartoony thats a pro or con depending on taste but I tend to like a splash more realism like in Counter Strike or Call of duty. The    Basic review.     My true complaints are, bad customer service I felt ripped of during beta for some thing I bought and couldnt refund even tho I barely used them. Customer service treated me like garbage even tho my issues were their fault. (I had problems with the anticheat messing up my computer.)

    Invasive anti cheat program really needs to be shut down too. Its a bad precedent having games have that much root level control over your PC. Also the devs have been caught siding with their anti cheat over a large group of casual players. Not worrying about alienating loads of players to stop a few cheaters reminds me of kneejerk over reach. Like not being able to take shampoo on the plane because of liquid laws

    End of the day Riot fanyboys and streamers are going to keep this game in the spotlight for a bit but I dont think its going to turn into the next big esport fps like I was hoping it would. its to average and riots devs have to much tunnel vision on this one. The anti-cheat alone has already divided the player base and the game just came out.    … Expand

    Valorant is very unoriginal. This game feels like it is missing something big to make this game its own. Overall, Valorant feels like a combination of CS:GO and Overwatch, whilst also being a worse version of both. It also has clunky gunplay, and slow gameplay. Valorant feels like a game that was designed to go viral and do well on twitch, rather than being designed to be a good game.

    Played the beta I think the gameplay was nice. My score is how the current launch is handled. There's many people who got bugs, including my account, where I wasn't given one of the character unlocks that happen early on. It really F'd my gameplay seeing I can only use the basic 5 characters while everyone gets their choice of all the other characters. Thats what happens when you design a game by plugging one of those magnetic doodle boards to a Commodore 64. They lack animations for everything.     For a game that looks cartoonish as it does, the sounds are all over the place, in short some do a pew that makes you think you short a squirt gun and the rest sound to realistic for a cell shaded mess intended to be played by children baited in by streamers.

    3. Content

    Four intended for launch with one game mode. It looks so boring and repetitive, just see what happens when a meta gets established and there is no way to tell a match apart except for how many decibles the streamers decide to use for their fake and overexaggerated reactions.

    4.) Anti cheat

    It should be applauded for aggressive banning of cheaters, however not like this. The anti cheat software is automatically installed and starts as a driver with admin privileges on your PC. Riots response is "don't worry about it, it'll be fine trust us". They are owned by a company based in a country notorious for monitoring, tracking and oppression of freedom of their own people.

    Of course I'm not a game blogger... er journalist so I don't have that tencent money so this review is actually honest. It's an overwatch/Counterstrike hybrid that falls flat on it's face in style and execution .    … Expand

    Review bombing in games is the stupidiest thing people can do. Reviews are meant to help people decide if they should give the game a try. So bombing is just stupid and forgets the whole point of reviews. I'm not saying it is wrong to post a negative review on a game. I'm saying that if you are gonna do it. At least do it right.

    I'm a CS GO player and I've been playing Valorant for the last few days and I really like it. Even though the game has a lot of problem's, I believe that they will be fixed.

    I like the characters and their unique powers, and I can surely say that the powers are the only good thing about this game (for now). It makes the round much more interesting and add a good tactic layer on top. Tho some powers do feel much more useful than others, like the Ice-barrier from Sage which is extremely useful in all kinds of situations.

    The visuals are good, but they keep reminding me of Overwatch and Fortnite. One thing I like is the character interaction, they talk all the time and usually hint something useful, like saying they encounter multiple enemies or something.

    I'm pretty sure this game will get better with time, but right now it's very poor in content. They maps really bother me, they are way too simple and boxy.    … Expand

    As a csgo player i’m glad there is some counterbalance for the OG csgo since most of the shooters outside are more focused on OW or COD style shooters.
    This game is as addicting or not more than csgo, that said the gameplay can feel similar but offers fresh take in the oldschool FPS genre, the gunplay is slower than csgo but is perfectly syncronized with the abilities of each agent.

    Very similar to CSGO but far more approachable and easier to learn for a newer or less experienced player to the genre of competitive tactical shooters. This is because of increased visibility, more clear in game information, less overall clunk, and a smidgen of a less toxic community than CS.     This is a personal review with bias. As a former CSGO player I would have to say that the game felt like a breath of fresh air. It has an aesthetically pleasing art design, a great set of characters with unique designs, excellent VA's, an amazing soundtrack and new game mechanics which combine together to form a competitive-based 5V5 fps. Using each character's abilities is immenselyThis is a personal review with bias. As a former CSGO player I would have to say that the game felt like a breath of fresh air. It has an aesthetically pleasing art design, a great set of characters with unique designs, excellent VA's, an amazing soundtrack and new game mechanics which combine together to form a competitive-based 5V5 fps. Using each character's abilities is immensely entertaining and brings great satisfaction when making highlight plays with them. You can get so creative when playing certain characters which I absolutely love, it opens up so much potential for what can be done during competitive play.

    Upon my first visit to the game i found the movement to feel very clunky and slow, which initially almost put me off the game entirely. The movement speed acceleration in Valorant is much slower than other FPS titles I've played, however it was something I was able to get used to quickly. Valorants movement causes peaking to be MUCH less forgiving. Quickly peeking around the corner in Valorant for info (something you occasionally get away with in CSGO) is more likely to punish you severely. Getting shot once will essentially slow you to a halt and leave you at the mercy of enemies. This, coupled with the unique abilities of the agents, is what definitely sets apart Valorant from other similar games like CSGO for me. I honestly disagree with those saying it's a copy of CSGO, the way matches progresses over time and the play style you have to adopt feels completely different. Valorant is more like CSGOs younger brother. The game is definitely more than what some make it out to be. The only major similarity I see is the competitive concept that the game is trying to achieve (i.e. the universal gun arsenals available for each team, map layout, bomb defusal scenario).

    How good the maps are is completely up for debate. Some will like them, others will absolutely despise them. Some will think they are copies of CSGO maps, I think that that's an overstatement. The Vanguard anti-cheat system is also highly controversial due to its invasive nature. If you don't trust Riot Games or want a system that continuously scans your PC for cheats every time you boot up the system, then don't play this game. That aside, contrary to what other people are saying, I believe the effectiveness of Vanguard is satisfactory. I can count on one hand how many cheaters I've faced thus far in the game and although my experience may not be representative, I would've expected far more encounters with cheaters than I have so far, especially in a F2P game. People claiming to have encountered cheaters every single game, are either very unlucky or simply mistaken in my opinion.

    I very much dislike the fact that map selection is not a thing in this game. On one particular session I played a specific map 10 GAMES in a row, which led to me getting bored of it really quick (it was ascent for those of you wondering). Although it was a stroke of bad luck in this case, they need to implement the option to choose the maps you would like to go into. Moreover, they have not added ranked into this game yet, albeit for an appropriate reason (to allow new players to learn the game). For competitive, team-based fps's, I find the most enjoyment climbing up the rank system. So to have a game of this type only allowing you to play casual (and another similar game mode), I would have to say that as of now, until ranked is re-released, it is not as fun as it can be. Some scaling of the UI for different aspect ratios would be nice too. I personally like to play 4:3 and I know that it doesn't increase the body size of enemies, it's just what I prefer. I find that on non 16:9 ratios the UI is squashed up or cropped which I find very annoying (although definitely still playable).

    Overall, I think the game is good. The fact that it is free to play and low-end PC friendly (despite its aesthetics) is great and gives everyone the opportunity to play with minimal difficulty. The diverse range of characters are so fun to play around with, and although a few abilities are imbalanced, the dev's thus far have dished out frequent improvements and balance updates to the game. You can tell that they care about this game a lot, and the support they give to it is enough motivation for me to continue playing despite the issues it has right now. People need to understand that this game is very new, and that there will undoubtedly be some problems. I do believe that some of the criticisms it is receiving is unjustified. I enjoy playing Valorant, I think it's a fun game. I would recommend anyone to give it a try as long as they are okay with how the Vanguard system works.

    One of my biggest complaints in the beta was the map Split. During the end of the beta some changes were made to improve it, but upon release, the map's mid lane was altered for the better as well.

    Rated matchmaking felt pretty balanced in the beta so it should be just as good if not better when it gets added back to the game also, Valorant is designed very well for competitive gameplay.

    As for the whole free to play model, it's perfect in Valorant. All cosmetics, which look sick so far, so there's nothing to worry about in terms of pay to win. There's no agent skins, and might not be, according to what I've heard so there's no worry of skins causing an issue. You do have to spend time or money to unlock agent, but it's in no way an issue; Everything that matters is reasonably obtainable with time.    … Expand

    You have a guy like Cipher, who can lock down a site on his own from safe distance or brimstone & Reyna, who jsut throw their flashes THROUGH walls, but then there is Jett, who can put down three 7seconds smokes, dash once and maybe use the one and the other funny angle.
    "Smokes i hear you say, so she isn't useless?" Well, if its smokes you want, just grab a brimstone. Unlike Jett, he doesnt need to position his smokes in actual gameplay, he does it via a hud, that allows him to cover even the far side of a site from safe distance, they fall through roofs and a placecd by the click of a button. They also last way longer than jetts.
    A lot more useful.
    Before moving on to a different topic, i just want to give a special mention to Raze... the character, that has a freaking Noobtube as an ultimate and grenades, that just outright kill you, if you try to facetank them. Why is this bad? Because it removes a very interesting decision from the game: Do i want to facetank this nade and not flinch, so they think this corner is clear, or do i run and not take damage, but give up my position? There is just no choice here.

    Anyway, moving on. The fact that both teams have access to all weapons in the buy menu is also boring, imo. In cs you have this nice tradeoff: CT have overall more precise weapons, T have very good first shot accuracy and high dmg weapons. Spraypatterns in valorant? Forget it. There is a pattern for the first couple of shots and then they become random, so transitioning your spray to a new target is a gamble. The hitboxes seem off.

    The worst part of the game however are the maps. They are so clean and tidy and Riot seem to have put so insanely much thought into pre-defining the angles players are supposed to hold, that there is just no room for discovering new stuff. You can barely switch anything up on a site, hold it from a different position or whatever, which not only is because of the mapdesign, but also because of the abilities.
    I think they first created a very, VERY raw layout of the map, and when they noticed "hey, this is an angle we dont want", instead of redesigning the entire place, they just simply slapped a wall there.
    The result is, that the maps are not only tidy and blant looking, but at the same time feel super confined. The fact that we have spawn walls and the first engagements can happen after like 2 seconds into a round, doesnt help either.
    When they designed their maps, they put a huge focuse on competitiveness, but they forgot a very important part: The fun.

    Overall the game was fun for the first couple of hours, but it quickly ran out. At this point i have absolutly no drive of going back to it, i just have no fun playing any of the maps,

    Honorable mention to their ingame shop:
    Random items in there every day to promote your FOMO, a bundle that changes every ..i think two weeks? 12 days? something like that, that costs a whooping 70$, at least this one rn. For 5 skins, which come with more stuff on them, if you spend Battlepass-earned points on them, so you better also buy a **** battlepass, because every game nowadays needs a **** battlepass.
    Just as a comparrisson: For 70$ i could buy myself my StatTrak Griffin M4A4 seven times and have some change left, and this griffin does at the same time look better than any of the skins avaiable in Valorant as of right now.

    The reason I’ve rated it so low due to it’s game breaking bugs and glitches. Notably, ones that I usually come across to is hud glitches and the notorious loading screen glitch. The second one is what stops me from having fun and grinding this game out with friends, which is why I give it a 4 out of 10. Extremely fun but not polished enough.

    Servers feel better than CS:GO's Valve hosted 64 tick ones, all the weapons feel like their actually viable in one situation or another and the agents abilities don't feel like they overpower the actually mechanical skill of the players

    The map selection is poor (it's just released, I know) and some maps are just completely one sided.
    Major downside, kernel level anti cheat system, I hope this catches and people see it as a bad thing at last.

    As someone who has played the beta I can say the game is ‘okay’ it doesn’t feel very original or new the characters aren’t original, the gunplay feels like counterstrike and there’s no clear narrative or story being presented to the player.
    Is it a Counterstrike clone? I would say it is, with a bit of Overwatch thrown in the mix.

Some abilities overshadow the gunplay but with players learning how to deal with them it became less of an issue.

    Those are probably not all of the issues with the game but are the once that came to mind. On the other hand the points that the game has managed to achieve are great visibility designed for a competitive experience, the devs listen to the community and already updated split twice for the better, nerfing raze, increasing ability cost and etc. Unlike CS GO which almost ignores the community riot pays attention to it. The gunplay is similar to CS but different. Having played CS GO for 3k hours OW for 4K hours and achieving tier 3 and top 500 on OW, i was looking for a competitive experience going into valorant and as far as I am concerned I have received it.

    Currently the game is getting spammed with negative reviews and some of them have reasonable arguments, but the majority is just being outright stupid, yes the graphics of this game aren’t the most advance, but there is a reason for that - more advance graphics leads to higher detail which leads to poor visibility, for example smokes in CS GO. The AC is a Chinese malware - while its true that riot is owned by a Chinese company the likely hood that it’s a malware aren’t too high and even if it is all it will achieve is better targeted ads based on your personal information. The biggest problem with kernel access AC is that it can be used by someone else to get direct access to your computer via a backdrop in the AC but that would require said person to know the backdoor to vanguards AC and the IP address of your computer with the knowledge that you have vanguard installed.

    The complaints about the game being boring is a personal preferences - yes the game is slower pace then say CoD or OW and it may not be to the persons liking, it doesn’t mean that the game is bad it means that it is not to your personal taste.

    Complaints that the game is overrun with cheaters are false in my opinion as I spend a lot of time playing this game - attempting to keep at 10h plus a day for the most part besides my exam period and I’ve run into less then 5 people that I was sure were cheating, there were more people that felt suspicious but they weren’t guaranteed to be cheating and I can tell you from first hand experience that in CS GO without prime matchmaking you will run into way more cheaters - it is not even comparable.

    Overall the game isn’t perfect and can be improved, but I strongly believe it will improve to be even better as so far riot has taken all the right steps to making me think that they will be good at managing this game. If you like competitive, tactical shooters then I strongly recommend valorant.    … Expand

    I dodged cue a SINGLE time, like it was league of legends, to group up with a friend and got an hour wait timer. Riot proves again they have no idea how to combat afk's and make grouping with friends a pain.     Valorants graphics look unpolished especially the main menu which is confusing to use and a lot of animations and sounds either need to be added or redone.
    The gunplay is the biggest issue for me, you either have to pray to the RNG gods that you hit a head-shot with a spray or you need to stand completely still and still you might only get 2 or 3 hits on them.

    Another big issue for me is the camping, with the map being so large you're definitely going to experience campers.
    While the game is fun and worth giving a try a lot of the game needs changes, and if you want a 5v5 bomb defusal style game that doesn't have these issues go play CSGO which is now free and has much better gunplay, or if you want a character and ability-based game go play Overwatch which is discounted every 2 seconds and focuses much more on the abilities.    … Expand

But kudos to the devs, the game is super responsive, small in size, and is hella optimized. Gameplay is sweet two, if you don't die and have to watch other people play with themselves, unless you like that sort of thing.

    I quite like the art style of this game, but I hesitate to even call it a game because 90% of the time spent "playing" it involves sitting there watching others play it. Её не сдерживают принципы и правила разработчиков , а так же желание навариться на кейсах, торговой площадке и прочих сервисах для монетизации скинчиков, как в случае с CS:GO. Играл в VALORANT на протяжении всего ЗБТ, продолжаю с релиза и знаете что... За этой игрой будущее.В отличие от CS:GO у этой игры открыты все пути для развития.     The sadest part of this game is that
    1st . it kind of just filled twitch with bots. 2nd. all these streamers that "are not " getting paid aint reliable anymore. Most overhyped game of the decade id say. Just think about all them streamers tweeting stuff like "it s the best game i've ever played" sure not paid in a oldfashioned    I played this game since 3 days after the closed beta started.

    sure not paid in a oldfashioned way . but suddenly having 100k viewers due to drops is rly welcome payment i'd say for people that live from theirs numbers.

    Now to my thoughts
    -gameplay feels more repetitive than in cs
    -movement is slow
    -Guns dont have any identity
    -abilities are nowhere near to be balanced and imo just make the game worse
    (imagine killing 4 people and then there is a wall that keeps you away from the bomb and you lose cause 30 seconds aint enough to run around it or to destroy it ) same goes to the rpg. great skill just insta kills on aoe. wont even start with the grenades of raze)
    -maps feel boring. (only 4 maps on release)
    -Graphics. WOW in 2005 had similar graphics didnt it? abilities look ugly af. especially viper stuff
    -vanguard is just annoying. in the beginning it blocked my cpuZ and my msi rgb software

    Overall i think this game just misses its own identity. what is actually from riot here? the graphics ? well done. you are on the level of 2005.    … Expand

    Valorant is a new take on the tactical shooter genre that Counter Strike spawned, it has a class system with at the moment of launch 11 characters called "Agents" which all have a very focused ability kit and an attitude that matches their gameplay, and although comparing it with Overwatch because of the class system is extremely shallow, comparing it with CS isn't, it's got the same main plant/defuse game mode and similar although differently balanced shooting mechanics, while in Counter Strike the recoils kick harder and have no randomness when standing still, in valorant they kick lighter and go a bit random horizontally when you spray for too long, making the gunplay reward better positioning and short burts of speed peeking at the right times instead of just rewarding muscle memory/pure recoil control. Overall it's a really deep game with an absurdly high skill ceiling and great opportunity for both showing off your individual skill and destroying with pure teamplay.

    For pros and cons:
    Pros;
    -VERY tight and satisfying gunplay
    -Very diverse weapon arsenal, every single weapon has it's own place and situation except for maybe the Bulldog which is a midrange weapon with less than satisfying headshot damage, there's no "X weapon is just like Y weapon but better"
    -Although the numbers could use tuning, the agent kits themselves are well realized and have a really concise goal in mind as to what that agent's job is
    -The agents themelves are all cool looking, different and with personalities that fit their gameplay fantasy
    -The maps themselves are absolutely clean a completely devoid of any visual or physical clutter, from a competitive standpoint that's great
    -Riot Games has been very receptive to community feedback and has also communicated a lot back to the playerbase
    -Music is great, UI design is great, skins are on the expensive side but nothing crazy, also no gambling

    One con, but a REALLY big one, though it can be addressed with updates post-launch;
    -Map design for the beta maps is pretty bland, there's not much room for creative rotations and the spawn sites have been done very lazily probably because the walls pre-round exist, fighting on the bomb sites is fun though.
    Ascent (the new map) is way more of a step up, an all-round well designed map with multiple paths for rotations, but it feels a little small.
    Because of the compressed map design, a lot of the fights in most maps feel like they happen in close corridors, which can also make some Agent abilities feel overly punishing/frustrating due to how hard/easily they can hit you. And about frustrating gameplay, wall penetration has to be addressed because some wallbangs feel way too cheesy, you can shoot through most walls and also through corners if you get the angle right, and although that CAN be a nice skill expression tool, you can still get heavily damaged by players who are just spraying and praying at random walls, so wall penetration should be a great balancing priority due to the cheapness-sourced frustration it causes but the crazy gamesense showcases high level players will give if wall penetration is balanced in the future.

    An absolutely great game who's only problems can easily be solved with patches and Riot has shown that, at least with this game, they've been good at taking and answering community feedback in meaningful ways.    … Expand

    I've been playing this game since beta and i love it! It feels like a smooth, simplified CS with heroes, abilities and vibrant colors. Valorant takes all the good from CS and none of the bad. It still has its issues though, for one the skins are way too expensive. One set of 5 skins costs around 70 usd and the currency used to upgrade skins is insanely pricey. There is also a big leaverI've been playing this game since beta and i love it! It feels like a smooth, simplified CS with heroes, abilities and vibrant colors. Valorant takes all the good from CS and none of the bad. It still has its issues though, for one the skins are way too expensive. One set of 5 skins costs around 70 usd and the currency used to upgrade skins is insanely pricey. There is also a big leaver problem which makes the game a nightmare for 30 minutes with no option to surrender or leave without penalty.

    The game also released too early IMO and it would have been nice to have a replay system and a surrender button right out the gate but overall I've been having a blast since beta and i'm hopeful for the future of this game.    … Expand

    It feels like a very Cheap version of CS:GO and Paladins, the most weapons are very clunky or CS:GO weapons with other names. This game feels very, very, very, very slow and the Spraypattern is disgusting. Riot comon i knew you can do better stuff but please fix first the lol clint befor you try to make a shooter. :(

    This is a really unpolished incomplete game. At first it was fun, but I quickly ran out of things that were fun. The devs are money hungry, the UI sucks, the rewards suck, and gunplay feels unpoilshed. This game is so bad it hurts to play now.

    After playing all throughout the beta and getting the beta gun buddy and buying the season pass. All I can say is as a shooter it's unfinished and unbalanced. It is also plagued by server problems causing players to lag out constantly. The anti-cheat also turns off my fans so I have to play this game at max speed to make sure my laptop doesn't die. There is also a lack of content and maps,After playing all throughout the beta and getting the beta gun buddy and buying the season pass. All I can say is as a shooter it's unfinished and unbalanced. It is also plagued by server problems causing players to lag out constantly. The anti-cheat also turns off my fans so I have to play this game at max speed to make sure my laptop doesn't die. There is also a lack of content and maps, once the game changes and fixes many bugs and its lack of content I may come back and make this my main game, but until then its hard to convince people to play a game that is unfinished and buggy but also could destroy or brick your computer.… Expand

    Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

    Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
