The movement feels clunky, the economy doesn't feel impactful, although the gun play is satisfying, the randomness of the recoil pattern is really frustrating. The random recoil patterns would not be a problem, if the the randomness would be less drastic. The maps are absolutely horrible, and not fun to play. They feel incredibly cluttered, and often gives the defenders an advantage. There are way too many unnecessary angles and corners, sites that are borderline impossible to retake, and can make the player feel very claustrophobic. The agent abilities are fun to play with, but some of the abilities are a lot more overpowered, meanwhile some are severely under powered. The abilities can also create a significant amount of visual clutter, which are really distracting, and can be really frustrating a lot of times. Riot made an attempt to counter peeker's advantage, except they did an awful job at doing so. In Valorant, peeker's advantage is severely worse than most other tactical shooters. Along with the horrendous map design, and a variety of offensive abilities that can reduce, block , remove vision, and abilities that reduce movement, accuracy, and rate of fire, it makes a nightmare for who ever is being pushed/on the receiving end. Just like CS:GO, the audio engine/directional sound is also less than desirable. I often find it difficult to pin point the location of an enemy, just from their footsteps, the footsteps often sound closer than where it actually is. The directional sound is manageable, and I can get a general direction of where the footstep is coming from, left, right, in front, or behind.
Valorant launched with 128 tick servers for all of it's game modes, which I would praise riot games for doing, except the hit registration in this game is not good. A lot of times i would see the blood splatter effect when i shoot someone, yet they would not take any damage, so hopefully that would be fixed very soon.

Valorant is not all bad, the characters are interesting and diverse, the game has great optimization, so any computer can run it at a playable frame rate, which is amazing. The graphics do not bother me too much, because as long as the visibility is good and the colors contrast from the agents, I am happy(although the abilities do bottleneck the visibility A LOT). The HUD is clean and gives enough information, and is not overwhelming, which I really like. But overall, the negatives outweigh the positives, so I give it a 4 out of 10.

It is simply a mediocre free to play game. It says so often that its not cs yet everything is stolen from cs. Hell even the AWP is the OP. This gunplay is weak and sluggish. Every single gun feels like it has no weight. The abilities are horribly unbalanced right now and movement is a the worst aspect of this game. It tries so hard to be cs movement but then fails at all aspects. It is still possible to run and shoot with a gun that is not an smg and even then counter straffing barely works. This whole game's identity is a cs and ow killer yet instead it feels like a mediocre cash grab mix between the two. In addition to sluggish gameplay, the maps are just horrible. They want it to replicate a mixture of a cs map and lol map but it just doesn't work. The bugs, (the few that there are) can be gamebreaking. For example I got a bug where I had no UI, aka, no map, no ammo count, no ability UI, no health bar, so I constantly had to reload after every kill and had to play purely off of sound. This game right now, I just cannot simply recommend, especially since it seems like they are more focused on skins then improving the actual game. In addition, Riot's support is a joke. This can be the 'CS and OW killer' if they simply put in more effort. The only reason why I can say to play this game is that it is free to play and currently does not have that many cheaters even if the hackers are figuring out ways to get around the intrusive anti-cheat that I'm still worried about since it is a Chinese owned company that is using this anti-cheat.
Edit: I have come back to this rating because of the announcement of the elderflame skin set. Further proving my point that riot cares less about the game and its player base but more for the pro-scene and skins. The exact thing that is killing overwatch right now

The worst in-game store in online games that exists. Players who bought a set in beta are now gathering dust in the game currency. Talking about unstable servers and terrible optimization of the game does not even make sense. The game had potential, but the developers seem to regard it as a one-day project for making money.

Their cosmetic items are way too expensive. To buy one skin on a gun is more than $20. No reason to be that expensive and it actually leads people not to play because they come off money hungry. That’s why I give it a 8. But other than that INCREDIBLE game! Great gameplay and would recommend playing it!

However, the game is not for everybody. The gun mechanics make all of better guns have extremely high recoil and be very hard to aim. They will plague people used to the 'run and gun' fps games. Most reviews are negative because the users do not like the slow gameplay or they are bad at the game. Again, this is not a game for just anybody.
    3 bad things about Valorant:
    1. When they full released the game, it still felt very unbalanced and unfinished. It felt like the game was not yet ready to be fully released.

    2. The ranked system. The matches do not ever look at the guns and playstyle that people are using. Valorant is supposed to be a tactical 'stop and shoot' game, but newer players tend to use shotguns and the LMG's, and they think that they are amazing with the no skill 'run and gun' weapons. Riot should have a system to see how each player plays.

    3. This one is just a joke, but... Sage has an accent but Jett doesn't? WHAT?????
    They're both asian?!?!?!?!

Overall, I think valorant is a good game, just unfinished. Also the skin prices are insannnneeeeeeee

The introduction of spike rush was by far my favorite part of the release, apart from that everything else I personally didn't like. Honestly i'm not surprised that it's a sweaty game (mostly because it's a 5v5 shooter) but games these days are honestly too competive and that's why i'm not surprised that most of my friends don't play video games anymore because we can't have a fun experience. Look at gmod for example. TTT is booming now that COVID has hit us but the games where so casual, now they are like tournaments everywhere you go on TTT. I don't see valorant becoming much of a casual game. But it will bring some of those old Counter Strike Esports players back. I just want to play a casual game. I don't want to have to dump hours upon hours too improve just so I can have a good experience. But if I did, it wouldn't be casual anymore. Expand

Could be a very good game but it's horrible! hit reg and desync are outrageous. Every round you die and then you see the enemy or you shoot in the head (clearly you see and hear the bullet hitting the head) and if you are lucky you got leg reg. this game is already dead! A shooter that doesn't shoot! Surely developers are very busy making skins and sell them for 100$. Well done!!!!!!!!!!!

Valorant is at the beginning still has a lot of content, technologies and improvements to add before becoming the best fps and that's what will happen. Let's be honest, since Riot games announced the development of Valorant cs: go was already dead, all CS fans ready to criticize it in every aspect because they know that if Valorant is cared perfectly it can kill their game, Cs: go is survived thanks to addicted fans and because there were no rival competitive games not because of the game it self, but now there is Valorant. If valorant had been a game of any game company, no one would care at all about that game, that's why valorant is famous because it is a game of Riot games and they know how to perfect and evolve a big game and above all they know esports since they have a monopoly on it. Cs: go is a boring old game with ridiculous graphics and literally 2 colors in all maps: gray and brown for 10 years. Valorant was born for a reason to permanently kill cs: go and take the last part of esports remained for Riot the FPS. Expand

The art style does not look good. It isn't very contrasting with characters, it's like the art director forgot everything they used to make the amazing Team Fortress 2 art style and barely tried to replicate it. The gameplay is decent overall, but whenever you play, it always feels like "Did I forget to do something in the same setup we do every single round?" and if you did, it just makes the game so much harder. But, most of the professional players do that, with a few risky mixups on the setup which help keep the streams/video slightly more entertaining on the new tactic they did, but almost every single time it fails, and they go back to the original tactic which is boring. The next bad thing is the maps, people have talked about this and how it is so cluttered, unfun to play, repetitive, and how awkward the fights are. Exaltedjoss27 made a good video on it titled "The Real Reason Why Valorant Isn't as Fun as CS:GO" which I'd recommend many people should watch if they want to criticize the game and its messy maps. Another thing is the ranked matchmaking, I am not a competitive person so I will be taking other people's words for this, is that it is really easy to get to the highest rank, and how the game is a lot more casual than CS:GO with abilities, the repetitiveness, the slow-paced, spread out gameplay, the map design, the more luck-based gun accuracy, which somewhat ruins the experience, even though it was made for eSports. One of the biggest offenders of the game is the anti-cheat. Honestly, I don't mind a slightly more intrusive anti-cheat as long as it prevents cheating much better, as the new CS:GO anti-cheat system does work somewhat well, with the trust factor feature and scanning for cheat names and other possible software which helps. There is no such feature in the Valorant anti-cheat (Vanguard) that shows that it has caught anything or that there is such thing as a trust factor, but there have been very few cheaters in Valorant encountered, and when it detects the cheaters it stops them, but unfortunately also stopping the entire game. The anti-cheat isn't bad, it's just that many people find it too intrusive, and if you have the anti-cheat installed and Riot gets hacked (which definitely is a low chance but can still happen) your computer as a high chance of being screwed. I don't completely hate Valorant, so I will be giving off some good things of the game which might hook you in to keep the overhyped player base. The jingle when you kill someone is satisfying, which honestly now that I think of it sounds pretty dumb, but it is a lot more satisfying and gives you a good adrenaline rush and rewards the player for getting a kill, which does make the game more casual, but it's still nice. I like how there are characters and that they aren't just nobody, as in the counter strike games, and this is debatable. After all, then the game is more casual because everyone has different things, some are better on specific maps, some are just better than other characters in general, you get it. Another thing I thought good of Valorant was some of the new things they added to the "Search and Destroy" gamemode, like how if you defuse past 50% and cancel out if someone is going to peek and kill you, you can stop and kill them and save some time to defuse the spike (the name for C4 in the game) and possibly even win the round with the saved time, and that it's easier to peek corners with abilities. The game runs well on low-end computers which is also pretty good, not much to say about that though. There isn't much of the game that is good as almost everything is not memorable or it has already been done better, it's just more or less a mediocre bootleg of CS:GO and CS:S combined. It's honestly a decent game if it was still in beta, but Riot just wanted to milk off the current quarantine by fully releasing it to everyone. Expand

The snipers in the game are also way to broken, the lever action rifle has 100% hip fire accuracy and is a 2 shot body one shot head shot with a fire rate of 1.5 shots a second, and the other sniper is a one shot anywhere except the leg but even a leg shot will kill you if you don't have heavy shield. The match making claims to be skilled based matchmaking yet I verse plats and diamonds after I lose 4 games in a row. I was hyped about his games release and was happy to play it but it was at about day 3 that I realized the recoil with AR's are horrendous and the mechanics are bad, but in the end I shouldn't expect much more from a game that took to great games (CSGO/Overwatch) and put them together and what looks like a mobile game company could do better. However, I can take time to appreciate everything Riot has put into their new shooter. Riot is quick to address bugs and glitches in the game quickly, and typically handle all problems efficiently and effectively. While there’s not much content in terms of maps or modes, there’s a good amount of characters, and no one can blame Riot much because they launched during a global pandemic. Even with all their developers working from home, Riot’s managed to keep pumping out content. One of the biggest problems with the game currently is the lack of a deathmatch mode, one of the most important modes in tactical shooters. The only new modes since launch have been ranked mode and spike rush, a quick mode with power-ups. Fans appreciate the effort put in, but spike rush is no replacement for a good deathmatch mode. So what can i say about this game, its copy of CS but with abilities and ultimates, but this abilities dont ruin the game totally, you can use them as a help, but all depends on your skill, how do you shoot and move. This is what i like, not like in many modern games, pay to win system, where all depends on which gun, clothes and rank do you have, and people who are new just cant do nothing to you. Here all depends on skill, this is exactly how multiplayer shooter should be. Also i like shooting mechanics in this game. But there's obviously not enough content in the game, only 4 or 5 maps, i hope they will add some more soon. Expand

All the characters have varied abilities and you will definitely find a character for the playstyle you like. I highly recommend playing with friends as it makes it a lot easier to communicate with eachother. I've seen so many bad reviews on here from csgo players so I thought I should write a good one coming from an ow player. I personally enjoy the game! Expand

While I can appreciate the technical leaps forward for the FPS genre this game has a great many issues that have made the experience as a player extremely boring or unpleasant in many ways.
The Good - If you have friends to play with you, you will have a better time with this game it promotes team synergy and has heavy competitive possibilities.
The Meh - The economy and weapons system is ripped straight from CS:GO if you are used to that you will easily adapt to this.
The Bad - This game has three main issues in my experience that hamper the ability of a casual fan of games to not be able to enjoy this one.
Slow, this game is so very slow, your movement speed is slow, the animations are slow, the way you are rewarded for playing the game is slow, with few people playing sage permadeath is a thing so it feels like playing a stealth based single player game where you get into a really hard section and have to keep restarting again and again to the point where you just want to sprint in.
Visually uninteresting if not ugly. There are many times in this game where I can't believe how uninteresting the environment around me is, it truly reminds me of a mobile game. If you want the basics of it imagine TF2 graphics without any of the dynamics vertical nature of it. There are boxes everywhere and it doesn't look like stripped down polished beauty it just looks really boring. Many of the characters are a mix of Overwatch and R6S ripoffs in abilities and just look like Fornite skins.
Toxicity, like I said this isn't an issue if you have friends to play with, but if you are solo quing and you aren't great at the game you are going to have a rough time, the community is toxic as CS:GO and Overwatch and they will make you feel terrible, so you mute them and play worse because you don't get callouts, so you unmute and get berated.
This isn't a terrible game and was clearly made with competence but I can safely say that if you aren't willing to put in a massive amount of time, have friends that are just as into it as you, and disregard what you are looking at for gameplay which is slow then I wouldn't suggest this game for you.

The reason why this game is so boring is that, it just feels recycled. Every map is defender sided with every corner or peek being watched by some guy with an op. To win you have win 13 matches. And with this game being a campfest, it feels so boring and annoying when you die out of nowhere. The guns are so stupid, they feel inconsistent because they put in ranged dmg like max at 5-10 m while its like 2 dmg from 50m away. With the characters, I guess they are alright. But there are so many recycled abilities like there are 7 smoke abilities 3 wall abilities 3 or 4 splash abilities (Like a puddle I guess) and 3 or 4 blinding/close view abilities. The only special characters are raze, omen, reyna, breach, and sage because they all have somewhat unique abilities. the rest are just recycled. Plus the game really is just a mixture of watered down and boring versions of cs;go and overwatch. honestly if I had to give this game a rating it would be like a 6/10? maybe 5/10. Also the graphics are ASS. It's worse than Fortnite and that games has been in development for years until they released it in 2017. The only reason why it is so popular? Because it's new and was made by Riot who hadn't made a game in awhile. Just because it was sponsored by Twitch, makes it popular. If you want an actually good tac shooter, get CS:GO. The rating was generous because there are some good parts, but I focused on the negatives because there are so many. At least they tried their hand at a new game genre.

TL;DR Games alright? play it if you want to die of boredom I guess.

The good though is the Frame Rate you can get is DANG good and the buy system actually is very forgiving.

Slow boring matches that take forever to finish, Typical Riot Games with boring games as always. At least it has some appeal but it's mostly forgettable and I'd honestly go back to CSGO. Both games have hackers but one actually looks appealing and it ain't this one. This is a decent team game but that's about it.

Now what I do not like about this game is that it gets stale very quickly, frustrating so that I find it hard to focus on the gameplay, I also do not like how unbelievably slow-paced this is, lacks any sort of excitement or adrenaline, feels like a team of turtles with abilities fighting each other. Also, I do not like the competitive nature that this game brings, this is just how I feel about this game but once I feel like I have to win no matter what is exactly when a game stops being fun to me. The fact that this game is totally "unathletic" because you have to stand like a bloody statue to kill any player in this game and have to have insane accuracy to just have fun in this game, if you're not good at CSGO you'll probably have a hard time enjoying this game. Quite simply the core of the game is solid and fun to play. But the game itself has so many annoyances and small things that CSGO does better that makes it one of my least enjoyed games of this year. First off, Gameplay. Armor... is useless. The TTK is lower than most other shooters and thus it gives you no time to properly react. Quite simply if you shoot first and well, the other person will die. The reason I came to this conclusion is quite simple. The LMG's are overpowered and melt you within 20 meters. Armor, no armor, doesn't matter, if you don't kill them with the first shot your dead. Secondly, tutorial. Tutorial? You might say. Why are you talking about the tutorial. Well quite simply it tells you what is important but at the same time nothing at all. It teaches you about aim, buying weapons, how to shoot said weapons and how to plant a bomb. What it doesn't teach you is everything else. What gamemodes are there, what is armor? What does armor do? Whats a buy phase? All of these things are never covered so in my first game I got wrecked cause I had no idea I even had to buy armor until I just happened upon it in the buy menu. Thirdly something not often talked about, menu's and controls. The first thing I realized in my first game, theres no in game text chat. "Well yes there is Sicko, just press enter" Oh thank you kind people, good thing I realized that in my third game. When not even the controls tab in the menu had text chat keybinds anywhere. Fourthly something that cannot be forgiven, and something that I can't believe they ever forgot when making this game. Vote to kick, and surrendering. Vote to kick is small and can be easily forgiven but surrendering... is inexcusable. Especially when even the casual gamemode (which is will get to) has 13 rounds to win. Finally gamemodes. WTF IS THIS BS. The casual gamemode has 13 rounds to win? This is casual, Quick in and out gameplay. I don't want to sit through 7 rounds of beating the crap out of the other team and two or three of their players disconnect or vice versa. The 4 Round version is much quicker and I enjoyed that gamemode vastly better than whatever that was. Ultimately this is probably the biggest flaw of the game. 4 round matches with random weapons aren't always as fun as a quick 8 rounds MAX casual game. I either play ten games of the short and have moderate amounts of fun or play one longggggggggggggg game and get pissed.

The Thing is, with a few patches most of these problems can be fixed. And maybe one day they will be. And maybe then I'll come back and rereview it. But until then it can't ignore the numerous problems that it has.

Characters are interesting but some of their abilities are greater than a few that it makes you NOT want to try out the other. The balance between the characters is widely dispersed and unfair. Certain characters can be more effective than a select few. For instance, gathering intel is great with Sova but that's not effective compare to Reyne's explosive abilities that can cause great damage to multiple players, either doing a good amount of damage or a full kill, or both. The abilities that each character has is unique, but in a competitive aspect, it gives a certain player a higher advantage compared to others. Some character has a projectile that they can use to either smoke an entrance or quickly blind someone and get the jump on them. Now while I do find that great, what I don't like is that you can throw them through walls or around the corner and the projectile initiates instantly. To me, it feels a bit cheap to have the drop on someone without allowing them to have any time to react.

The gameplay feels clunky and heavy to some aspects. Most of the time playing, I feel slow despite having my knife out and the physique that some characters visually has. This also brings back to certain characters taking advantage of that with their abilities, such as Reyne. Reyne can easily punish you by shooting her rocket launcher but no time to react or escape. It feels a bit frustrating, in a competitive aspect, that you barely have any time to move out of harm way simply because the game's movement is clunky by default.

Shooting and tactic all feel like the same in every round. You can aim down your sight with your main weapon. While it's great that you can do so, it feels useless in some sense because the recoil pattern is easily manageable. There's no mix up when it comes to strategy. Most of the time, the strategy that my team usually comes up with is: keep your gun out and go for picks. Not once have we tried to rush an objective or quietly have someone flank behind them as a defender. You can try to rush to a certain bomb site but all it takes is Sage to put up her Donald Trump's ice wall to cancel that strat and then Omen quickly teleporting on-site or behind you without any sort of sound indicator. This game forces the player to play a certain way and if you have any other tactic, you'll lose more following through with it rather than following the norm.

Now for competitive matches, there's just one thing that I dislike and I feel like it can be easily fixable. I don't like the fact that both teams can see the economy of each player for both friendly and opposition. Seeing how much money the enemy has is a huge advantage when you have the upper hand. You can easily see if the enemy is saving for the next round or buy. This intel can alter how one team should be playing whether they chose to be aggressive or passive. I don't like this as it doesn't keep both side guessings whether the enemy is going to buy or not.

Also on a side note, I don't know if it's me but this game seems to crash frequently. Not during matches but when I want to look at something such as the battle pass or cosmetics. My PC is average. I can run COD MW on medium and BFV on high-ultra and still maintain 60 FPS whether I'm in-game or on the main menu. But for some reason, this game crashes. Pretty annoying that I have to exit the application through the task manager and then open Valorant again, which takes 5 minutes to load up too.

Some suggestion that I hope Riot can put into this game. Deathmatch. I want to improve myself and practice with other weapons. I know there's a training mode but I much rather practices with real people than bots.

Overall, this game is pretty disappointing. If you want to be baby spoon in a competitive game then this game is yours. Otherwise, if you want to start off at an equal starting point, want to improve yourself against, play against players in your own skillset, and gradually learn new strategies and tactics, then pick up CSGO.

    1. The feel of the game which can be branched into two points which are. How the guns feel and how the character movement feels. when using the guns you don't feel the recoil as much as cs:go and the bullets do not sound very good. And the movement of the characters feel very slow and when this speed is used in a large map, gunfights generally take a lot longer than in other games which leads to a tiring experience.

    2. How rounds play out. In cs:go the round has phases and in overwatch the same can be said about team fights. So far when I have played valorant it's been a lot of running and gunning with no real structure to it which makes the rounds feel more repetitive.

Just a side note: I think that the devs need to fix the economy problem in the game because it never feels like im running out of money to spend on guns.

Classic 5v5 competitive shooter. Feels kinda casual and like a mix of counter strike and overwatch. It's good for what it wants to be but not groundbreaking. Some bugs and the weird hitboxes can be frustrating. The maps feel balanced although there are other games which do alot better.

The feeling of the guns is kinda strange ( I'm not saying it's bad, it might just be that I need to practice more), some abilities are OP as hell, movement feels like you are playing CSGO but in an electric wheelchair, and for now it doesn't make a lot of sense to play if there's no competitive mode. I hope that devs will figure out something fast or the game might die quickly. Expand

I had big hopes for this game and was truly let down once I got in to the beta and got to playing. It didn't feel polished, it was slow, dull, and far too unbalanced, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt, it was in a beta stage, after all.

Now in it's full release, I see very little different with the game. Some balances have been implemented, so some credit have to be given in that regard, but aside from that, some of the few positive things I can say about the game is that the models look pretty good, it's free, has an anti-cheat, the ability to buy guns for your teammates, sell your own guns, etc, were you to change your mind, is REALLY nice, and the hit registration is pretty accurate. Note that these features are mostly already available in a vast amount of free-to-play games.

The gun mechanics are clunky, the spray-patterns are random and thusly removes a wellknown and important skill ceiling in FPS games. There's a way to track your spray, by looking at the barrel of your gun and adjusting your aim according to which direction the end of the barrel is leading to, but that's not very innovative at all.

The map design is truthfully terrible, when they announced the game, they claimed to have experienced people on their team, which unfortunately doesn't show. The maps which are currently in the pool look like something that was made in the early stages of Counter-Strike. (Yes, the mod, not the actual game.)

Abilities of the characters aren't new by any means, they simply repackaged overwatch heroes and added a few more utilities in the mix, such as more flashbangs, smokes and molotovs for map control.

Skins are severely overpriced. Looking at the prices, the game feels like a cheaply made moneygrabbing attempt.

All in all it's not surprising that you heard very little about the game after it's full release, the hype for it died down in it's beta stage, which they did announce quite well. Props to their marketing at the very least.

Valorant is a very good move forward from CS:GO, the bright color pallet and the simple yet intuitive graphics along with the solid gameplay makes it very addictive and fun to play.

There is definitely room to grow and improve/balance the game but overall it's a very good game that everyone should play (If they are into hyper competitive and tactical shooters that is).

Most of the negative reviews are people who've never played a competitive shooter, I guess.
I've been playing since the beta, and i enjoyed the game all this time.
The game is fun. 25 rounds is more than enough for a game to not feel very long (on average 30-40 minutes). Abilities grant another dimension of play, when you get bored of one agent you can perfect yourself with another one.

Gunplay is satisfying, however, hitreg issues make the game somewhat unplayable.
Anticheat decreases the performance of other games but can easily be disabled. You will, however, need to restart your PC to play Valorant again. Best part is that it works. If a cheater is detected the match gets canceled and the cheater is hardware banned.
If not for the hitreg issues and rare fps drops, I'd give this game a 10. It is worth playing if you enjoyed CS or Overwatch.

I have this sort of problem only with this game. The lack of quick movement is a problem. Of course Counter-Strike: Global Offensive doesn't do it better but I personally accept it there because the game is overall superior in his category. And one of my biggest problem with this game is the corporation behind it. I will not allow a game which installs anti-cheat software in the most secure operation level on my computer which comes from China. I don't say that the game is spy software but I don't trust this game. But there are a couple of fun things to. The rounds play pretty quick without large waiting time but one game is far too long. The weapons are ok. The maps are good. They have many spots to cover and interact with certain character abilities. Overall this game is fun the first 3 rounds but becomes extremely boring after a couple of rounds. I can not recommend you this game but I also can not say that this game is horrible. if you know that you are fine with the graphics the gameplay and the overall experience than good for you but for those who seek a refreshing shooter experience than I can't recommend this game.

    The sound effects are annoying.
When firing the guns, there is not a feeling of excitement. They are over-compressed and makes the game feel boring.

Too many rounds, making the game feel way too elongated.
The first few games were fun but then turned to a chore, which was not as fun. Nor was it helpful with the three sudden AFK's who probably will not face punishment, knowing Riot's somewhat unresponsive support team, which is even more damning for the game.

The playability for what it is is terrible. I could pick up other games with the same graphics, even on a crappy PC and get better results. The games become a chore in the end, and there is no solution to staying players when some of their teammates AFK. The sound effects are plain out awful, and the mastering is all over the place, some are good others are either too loud or over-compressed.
Playability Score: 0/10 - Too Many In-game Problems

    Looks:
The style and overall look of the game are beautiful. The lighting could be better, but as a concept, it is appealing. There is a lot more they can do, and it has the potential to be even better. But in par against other games, Valorant looks like a still in progress game released too early. However, out of everything, it seems good.
Looks Score: 5/10 - Good, But Has Better Potential

    Characters:
I enjoyed the character design. As usual, when it comes to character design, Riot's design team has always been top-notch, and Valorant is no different.
Character Score: 10/10 - Fantastic Character Design

    Creativity:
There is some creativity, but most of it is present in Overwatch. The guns would be impressive, but they are painfully plain, offering zero eye candy. I would rather play Call of Duty or CS with better-looking weapons.
Creativity Score: 0/10 - Any Game Does It Better

    Uniqueness:
The front is extraordinary and is easy to navigate through, and is unique to Valorant. However, I wished the same was correct about the game. The game in uniqueness would be almost a zero if it were not for its somewhat unique graphic design. But it feels as if it was an upgraded version of cs-go in graphics and game style. Nothing about the game stood out as unique or exciting, except for a first-person shooter game that kind of function part, but that is more negative than positive.
Its just a shooter game that does its job, but not even well. It does not stand out from anything, nor is it better, just meh.
Uniqueness Score: 2/10 - Lousy Shooter Game.

    General Note:
As I began downloading the game, I looked for Riot's goals when they made Valorant. Unfortunately, none of the information was available, or at least to my knowledge, making this review harder to write than necessary.
Goals are essential in making a game, and for other people to know what they should look forward to in the game. If laid out, the goals were harder to find and should be made visible.

The accessibility was smooth, no-nonsense, sign in, or make an account, and here is a download button.
An excellent first look is how quickly they give you access to a game. Some games love to put a story first and then give you the download button; it is a waste of time and is discouraging. Riot made the right choice by doing the no-nonsense here is the game; the story can wait until you are interested.

There is a restart requirement in 2020 for an anti-cheat system, which could efficiently work without restarting the PC.
That is something I remembered being used back in 2006 when game coding was not as advanced, yet some still had this without a restart requirement. Valorant should not be required to have this as there are games that do the same thing but without the restart requirement. Even League of Legends has this without the need for restarting, what's different here.

I like the swift point A to point B accessibility when you want to download the game. However, the ridiculous "you need to restart your PC" for an anti-cheat system that should be a part of the primary system is illogical and a waste of time. Many games, including League o

However the real turd in this **** sandwich is the map design, despite picking up some supposedly talented mapper from cs go, all the maps in this game seem purposefully designed to highlight all the problems the game play has to offer, with every corner deep enough to hide me and ten friends in, making clearing corners a exercise in herculean patience and a spawn system designed to have you waiting around for 20 seconds knifing a clear wall just so you can instantly get into a uninspired gun battle, only broken up by smokes fired from across the map or the worst flashbang abilities i've personally ever come across. even cod stun grenades have more going on than the flashes in this game.

all this to say don't bother touching this game for a good 6 months, playing about 50 matches of it made me consistently worse at shooting people as the boredom started killing brain cells. Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
