    I think that this is truly a unique game and I would recommend that if you are a fan of this type of genre then I think you should give this game a try.

    Just an empty game with terrible matchmaking, smurfs everywhere, and apparently no punishments for toxic players and leavers. Store prices for skins are STUPID high... we are talking $80 for a few skins. Cringy voice-lines, no storyline, completely unfinished and amazingly low quality for a company like riot games.

    Heroes- The abilities are very situational like you may like a hero from a youtube montage video but get to reenact the thing only rarely.

    Abilities- Some extra advantages would have been fine but the abilities doing real damage??? No, that's messed up. After these abilities, it will be a massacre if it happens to be a part of esports. Even Apex has abilities but they have a limit.

    Overall- They copied the Theory from CSGO and the looks and characters from Overwatch but that didn't turn out very well. Even if this game didn't exist nobody wouldn't even have cared and rather ask for a game like this because this game has nothing new to offer. Games like Fortnite, PUBG, Overwatch, Apex had something new to offer but what's new in this. CSGO is the most Esports-friendly FPS game out there and at least it's predictable and it requires new strats and a high skill ceiling in its pro scene. Whats about this game? What can you predict? Arrows through walls? Some Fortnite skinned character randomly teleporting through the map? A bot placed at choke points of backstabs that does damage and completely eliminates the possibilities of flanks?    … Expand

    Me and my friends played Valorant for maybe 20 hours in total, and me and my friends had a love hate relationship with the game. We would rage, but we would sort of have fun most of the time. Now, I realise just how bad the game actually is. I would give it a zero if it was not for the first couple hours of playing this game, because it is quite fun to start out.

    The gun play is awful in this game. Guns are just so frustrating to use, because you could be shooting straight on, but your bullets are going to be be going to Narnia. You just have to spray and pray when an enemy is no more that 10 meters away. Also if you get shot in the big toe then you cant move at all, so you are a sitting duck. Guns are either awful, or mediocre. There are no guns I would define as good. Also lobby's are terrible. Either you get in a lobby with the sweatiest player on the planet, or you get put in a game with bots that barely know how to shoot a gun. Characters are pretty fun, and usually have different playstyles. They also have good lore and dialogue. I just wish that they had a description about who the character is. Map design is pretty bad, with it just being a mess, or just boring and flat.    … Expand

    Such a fun and loveable game I had a blast when I played the game yesterday i love it.What i specificaly like is the agents in valorant, that's the best way and competitive gameplay.

Постоянно то в прыжке в голову дают то в смоки простреливаю . ждешь по 15 минут игру и тебе сливают ее что ты сделать нихера не можешь .Потому что игра делает так что у тебя процент побед должен быть 50 % то есть за то что ты выйграл ты должен проиграть.     It is an enjoyable and innovating game , however, the map design is really bad, which suddenly kills the "fast-paced" part of the game. The maps also feel way too "Defender-sided". There are also some really common glitches and bugs that Riot Games fails to address.

    Pros : Fun, easy to learn (?), creative
    Cons : Bad maps, bugs, some (small) balancing issues

    Fun competitive shooter with many interesting characters. I'm personally not a big fan of the graphics style, but the gameplay makes up for it! Definately give it a shot if you want to play a fun shooter with your friends!

U cant have fun with this game if u dont waste hundereds of hours practicing ur aim .     only 5 **** maps this game is like 1 yr old and they added ONLY TWO MAPS in one year .
    its CS:GO with abilities and i hate CS:GO like games for the shooting mechanics they are just annoying u have to learn recoil patterns and then u anyways get headshotted by a sweaty global elite cs go player. you cant have fun in this game without hundreds of hours spent on training aim

    The ranking system in competitive games should lead to evenly-matched teams. In practice, because so many players are running multiple accounts, it's very common to have a low-ranked smurfing player dominate the game. It makes no sense for Riot to make a game that uses a ranking system and then combine that with lax enforcement of multiple accounts. It just becomes an invitation to abuse the system, and lots of players do it.

    The ranking system is further abused by players deliberately throwing games. They play badly or, more commonly, convince other team members to surrender even when winning. That way they get to play a few good rounds and dominate, but lower their rank so they can smurf the next game too.

    Toxic players are very common. Because the game is team-based, and teams rely on communication (text and voice), having toxic players on your own team dominating the chat wrecks the game. Sure you can mute them, and apparently Riot uses muting to punish toxic players who get reported, but then it damages your team's ability to compete.

    Toxicity is exacerbated by giving agents the abilities that can damage teammates. Phoenix's fire, Raze's grenades, Sova's arrows, etc - they can all damage players on your own team. So when toxic infighting gets out of hand, players use their abilities to damage each other.

    On top of that, the game relies on your team planting a spike. But the spike can be grabbed by a toxic player wanting to wreck/throw the game for their teammates, forcing their own team to lose.

    The game has a reporting function, but judging by the ongoing issues with toxicity etc, it seems not to be taken seriously by Riot. And since they don't enforce rules against multi-accounting, it's easy enough for a reported player to start a new account and begin the whole toxic cycle all over again.

    I'm honestly confounded why a company like Riot would put so much energy into creating such a sophisticated game, and then leave it open to so many different kinds of abuse.

    To fix this games, Riot needs to:

    1) stop griefing by taking away abilities that damage teammates
    2) enforce hard rules against multi-accounting to prevent smurfing and add weight to penalties/bans
    3) make the spike un-carryable by players who have been reported by teammates
    4) take reporting seriously and ban players who are consistently reported
    5) fix the surrender function in terms of ranking so that it doesn't benefit a winning team to surrender    … Expand

    This game could be good but it is not because of riots laziness, the skins cost two AAA games worth of money and it is unbearable how many people are cheating even with this stupid vanguard in place.... Only play if you are in a full team otherwise it is really boring.

    Even if ull be faster, you`ll get shot by the dude that has better ping than your`s (The funniest thing that they "slow down" the game to get better "tik rate" XD)
    4. skills annoying and useless thing, yes I wrote 4 lines higher that some characters are imbalanced and it`s still true, but most of the skills are crap, that can`t damage someone or they got so slow animation that enemy can just walk to u and kill u by the knife with no problems at all XD
    5, shooting, the most "creppy" shooting that I`ve ever seen, even "hackin" warface got better shooting than in this game, and if u think that shooting in CS GO is bad — try this game and u`ll change ur mind XD

    The shooting mechanics are difficult to use, especially for players with a TF2 and Overwatch background, which the game seems to target. The shooting mechanic also favors camping (Staying in one spot all game while shooting passing enemies) which is frowned upon in most games. The heavy armor does next to nothing. And there are some buggy aspects to the game..

    Counter Strike for Mobile Phones. It is a simplistic and more simplified version of CS GO. Game feels clunky and has no speed factor. Shooting in the head is easier. Hero skills are nice and is really great innovation, but overall it is boring to play and watch. Monetisation model is horrible and over the top!

Currently we only have 4 maps and though they intend to introduce more over time it's really repetitive at the moment. Like spend 80 bucks on a skin pack only to have to buy the vfx seperate... Don't even get me started on vanguard and how it prevents .sys drivers from loading at startup.     Valorant is slow, boring, too sweaty, and unfinished. It came out way to rushed and never came close to CSGO polish. Sad that people defend this when CSGO clearly won the battle with constantly double the amount of streams on compared to Valorant. Also Riot games is known for making frustrating content and this is no exception.

    Movement is very clunkly. No ADS when using pistols. Characters are imbalanced. Cheaters are dominating. Only 3 maps. $100 skins, talk about a cash grab. This game plays more like an alpha build than anything. There are just to many other games out there that play better than this game.

    All around this game is pretty good, it is a competitive FPS shooter that mixes Overwatch And CS:GO together to make a all around good game.     Gunplay could be really good, however there are times I notice where the horizontal recoil will randomly sway to the left and right not having a consistent pattern like counterstrike, making spraying as well as eco rounds quite miserable to do. The barrier phase while a cool idea, just doesn't fit into the maps as you can get angles into common traffic areas before the other team can even peek you! The operator is the main exemplifier of this issue as well as the fact that there's only 4 maps right now, and riot's only planning to release a new map once every 9 months, which is an extremely unhealthy content schedule. The agent abilities don't make up for the bland map design and the lack of character in them. I think valorant's either going to be forgotten in a year, or randomly hit a player spike after a few updates like Rainbow Six Siege did the second year it came out.    … Expand

You can't buy favorite skin just because their revenue 'GENIUS' decided to rotate their store and you never know when your favorite skin will appear. Riot did all the hard work to make a good game with a very trash store . Sad ,very sad.

Your character moves slowly, but d animation of the peek looks way faster, granting too much peekers advantage, as opposed to what d devs said that there will be no peekers advantage and most of d time, your enemy looks like they are kill spraying you while running full speed.… Expand

    I have experience of around 2500+ hours on CSGO. But this game needs many improvements. When my character in the game comes near any other player I experience a glitch in the game. Secondly, when the opponent team shoots at me the character just hangs a bit, and then it's dead. Unless you're on NA or EUW server, the client randomly selects a server, even if that server will give you 200+ ping, at least give us garena type players the option to pick a server.     Valorant is a fun game to play with multiple characters and you can use tons of guns. I do think it seams unfinished 1. there is not enough stages 2. there is no character skins 3. there is not enough original aspects. It is a fun game to play a bit on your free time but it is not mind blowing.

They charge 56US$ for autofill blue guns and there's only 5 of them in the bundle. They making every possible effort to do the minimum work possible and actively **** on their community. Just read series called 'Ask Valorant' they post on their website. Everything is either "Not a problem" or "is working as intended". What pros want or what players want doesn't matter.

    This game is on a ticking timer. With their system of adding a character every 2 months, it will soon become an unbalancable mess like Overwatch and will fail even more miserably than that.     First we're going to talk about game play. So most of the time, the hit registration is very good. But it is VERY inconsistent. Some days it feels like I'm tapping heads all day (I'm a diamond player) but other days I can only seem to hit the body. Now I know that could be just me but I'm not the only one that experiences it.
    The OP. I could write this whole review on how terribly over powered the Operator is in this game despite it being extremely similar to the AWP in CS:GO. So there's so much controversy in the Op from the casual community to the pros. It simply doesn't belong in a game like this. There's simply not enough counters to it. In CS:GO, each player can have 2 flashes, a smoke and grenade. That is enough utility to properly counter any good AWPer. Now, if they balance the Scout a tiny bit, it would be all the game needed. I'm talking, increased body damage to 125 (so it one shots everyone that didn't buy heavy armor), keep one shot head shot, little slower reload time, and raise the price a bit. That would be the most balanced sniper and only sniper they would need in the game.
    Now the wall bangs. Almost EVERYTHING is a wall bang spot. There's no safe cover for you to go in if you need help and that's a big miss in my opinion. If you back off as you're low on health, there's a good chance you're going to get wall banged.
    There's no coverage for crouching either. Every box in the game is made to be taller than player height. There's no crouch peeking and you have to fully expose your body in every gun fight. Now this sounds like a good thing but it really isn't. If someone has a better spot on you and the only thing you can do is try to challenge, you're probably going to lose. If they have a vertical advantage on you, you're probably going to lose. It's not a good map design.

    Secondly, I'm going to talk about the maps. The absolutely worst maps in any game I have ever played. There's a video on it that goes by the name of, "The real reason why Valorant isn't as fun as CS:GO". It's a very interesting video coming from a map designer. I'm no map designer but I can tell you the maps are very terribly made and it looks like the Riot map design team is VERY new to FPS's. The maps are extremely cluttered and have a TON of corners for people to sit in. You have to clear close to 10 corners on most sites just to get on the site cause defending team can be in any of them. It's awful and makes the game super boring. The lanes in the game are also super tight and gives the feel of having no freedom when roaming them. I mentioned the terrible lack of coverage in the maps so that's all I'm going to touch base on, but please, go watch the video and you'll understand more.

    Lastly, the Agents. The Agents have such a good idea to them but they are executed so poorly and, well, very rushed it seems. I'm going to compare the operators in Valorant with Rainbow Six as I don't have much knowledge on Overwatch. So Rainbow Six has 57 operators currently at the time of writing this. Now most IF not all operators have a counter in that game. In Valorant it's the complete opposite. There's no one to counter anyone in the game and it's quite sad. You could argue that maybe raze can counter Cypher or killjoy with her grenades but that's still quite risky at times. Now lets talk about Killjoy, which is a very relevant name for her as she LITERALLY kills the joy of the game. Riot decided it was a great idea to put a turret ability in the game. Now the turret doesn't hit hard. But it's basically making it so you have to clear the corner that the turret is in and the moment you do that, the opposing player peaks. Now I understand that you could just "play for the trade" but you have to remember, most of the player base is playing solo and won't have proper team communication or chemistry therefore making it hard to counter something like that.
    Sage, sage was amazing. She was the only healer and was pretty much necessary in every match. But now that she has been nerfed. She's useless. She barely heals and her wall is weak and unreliable now.
    The abilities in the game are just a joke in general. Like i mentioned earlier, there's really no proper counters to anyone or anything. for example, the molly's. In CS:GO, you can throw a smoke and put the molly's out. You can't do that in Valorant. Therefore it makes characters like Brimstone super overpowered post plant.
    Riot is doing exactly what they did with League of Legends. Nerfing operators without thinking about what it's going to do to the game.    … Expand

Now for the cons, to start, there is the intrusive Vanguard anti-cheat is always running on your system, unless you close it, in which you are forced to restart your computer the next time you want to play the game. The micro-transactions for the in-game weapon skins are to be expected in a free game, but are implemented in a terribly greedy way, as the skins are way overpriced, for example, the Elderflame collection bundle costs 9900 Valorant Points, which you would have to buy the highest Valorant Points bundle for $99.99 USD and then to unlock the upgrades for the skins you need to buy Radianite points using your Valorant Points, so in the end you have to pay $292 USD to have the fully upgraded Elderflame skins. Of course you don't need to buy the skins, but to have them priced so highly is ridiculous and takes advantage of people wanting to look cool in their games. Moving on, the movement often feels slow and sluggish, but it mostly has to do with the fact that the footstep sounds are way too loud and you have to shift-walk across the majority of the map. Next, there are currently only 4 maps to play on, each of the maps are infested with corners that encourage slow "camping" gameplay. You then have the RNG firing mechanics with majority of the automatic weapons, most noticeably with the Vandal having the first shot being completely based on the RNG at a certain range which is unrewarding to players that have good aim, the RNG firing mechanics should have no place in a competitive fps game where the first shot to the head is an instant kill and is extremely important. There are so many problems that exist in the current state of the game, that I am getting tired just writing a list of the one's that I have personally experienced and they are really pushing for Valorant to become an Esports game even with all of the current issues. Riot needs to fix these issues by listening to the feedback given to them from their community, then maybe this game will be great one day and it could potentially become a major Esports title.… Expand

    I love valorant but most of the reviews are really biased because of CS:GO. Most people play two games then say the game is bad but once you play and get decent the game becomes extremely fun. This game gets extremely fun when you are in a 1v5 and your Adrenalin starts pumping and you ace. THIS GAME IS GREAT

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A shameless CS clone built with Overwatch elements with none of the charm of either game. Firstly, the game's gun mechanics are a mess. It claims to have learnable recoil patterns like CSGO, but in reality, they have deliberately coded random spray alongside it. What this means is that even if you learn each gun and have good aim, if you engage someone a medium distance away, you run the risk of missing a few of those crucial shots , resulting in your death and you opponent walking off with a tiny bit of hp. Skill doesn't matter with RNG. Second, the gun damage values don't always fully register. For example, the Vandal & Guardian both deal 150+ dmg to the head at all ranges, which is an insta kill. There have been times when you score a headshot, but the enemy randomly receives 145-149 dmg, leading to you dying when you clearly fired a fatal shot.     I really like the graphics even though everyone is not onboard, i like the simple but satisfying gameplay with the possibility to create your very own strategy from the pick face.

    Very disappointed that 1/3 of all games in the lower ranks are won by afk players on the enemy team or your own,
    i will personally take a break from the game until they have fixed a better ban system that keeps players from ruining 40 min of the rest of the teams time. I had the same problem with Overwatch before they changed to role Q.
    Try it but don't expect that every game will be fun. hate winning when i know that they could have put up a fight if they had less toxic or no afk players.

I dont understand how a company with the competence of creating an esports and game to the level of LoL (the greatest esports ever) could slip on a **** bannana so hard. Its a shame because the devs themselves are actually nice and try to help but they are so **** belligerent that on one of their patches they gave cheats to THE ENTIRE GAME. This happened on the first patch of the game and its such a cluster**** that I cant comprehend to the point how bad some of this **** is. The advertised this game with a vision to destroy peekers advantage and cheats, but the MAIN PROBLEMS OF THE GAME ARE THE FEATURES THEY VOWED TO TAKE OUT. CSGO still has a less stable peekers advantage and that **** is made by Valve who never update the game (even if they are a god tier company). What else do I have to say? The skins are overpriced af to a point where Id rather **** buy renegade on Fortnut. Theres such a disconnect with most of these TRIPLE AAA games with their consumers thats its astounding that most people dont just say **** it and only buy indie games. Now at the moment, the biggest problem is the op, but we've already discussed that issue. Now, to Killjoy, or should I say kills the joy out of the game. Her abilities for the most part are balanced (for riots sake) but the GOD. DAMN. MOLLIES. They take less skill to adhere to than **** Raze's abilities. Ninja can **** get kills. I recently did an experiment on Valorant who played the game on what they thought of the game. Hey, rainbow started off bad, CSGO started off bad, but atleast your consumers dont rate this game out of 10 with a "penis out of 10". Ive seen more composure and professionalism from companies who are OP-erated by one **** person. It's literally more simplistic than CSGO while still being annoying and sucking up to noob players. The fact that the critics review is on such a disconnect to the users review really shows that you should never trust critics on a game. If this game has a close metacritic to some top dog games like **** RDR2 than you know the critics are **** senile. The fact I've wrote this far shows how **** annoying this game. Im actually getting pissed that the limit IS 5000 WORDS. I still HAVE SO MUCH **** TO TALK ABOUT. ITS INSANE. This game has literally ****ed my mind so hard that im writing a 5000 character review at 3 am. Thia game has so much potential but Riot ****s up everything they do.     In my opinion it's way more fun to play than csgo. I love the characters' unique abilities and voiceovers. I hope the content keeps rolling out with more and more maps and characters. I hope the game stays alive for a long time.

    Holy moly... Another garbage mess of a game Riot fails to execute properly. Server/client aiming bugs, hitbox registration issues and MASSIVE client bugs. Friendly verison or CS:GO with elements of over watch, Riot manages to STILL butcher a copycat design. It's amazing this studio is still in business...

    There is nothing you can do with a greefer. so if a "friend" Raze decide to use every ability against you or someone tipeing your position to the enemy team, you cannot votekick them, you cant TK them, you can literally do nothing but lose.

    The sounds are horrible (compared to CS:GO or R6)

    the player base below diamond is toxic as it can be, and also dumb as a rock. (and you cant stay at high rating cos they reset the rating in a fiew months)

    And out of desperate greed they release a character wich is so op, kids throw money at them to have the advantage befor others can farm it in game

    Killjoys (the new character) trap kills you from full hp in 2 sec, cant jump over it, and can be detonated whenever from wherever, and also have two of it (for perspective other characters simular abilities takes HALF the damage, need to be thrown which makes it avoidable and gives out your position, can be jumped over, and mostly have only one charge /round with the exepcion of viper)

    And that is only one ability of hers ... combined with others it can literally hold a (some) plant site alone while being at another. and is anoying as ****!

    Overall ... if you want a strategic shooter you
    A. play CS:GO if you aint casual and love a fair game
    B. play R6 if you want a character based stratetig shooter
    C. play overwatch if you want a casual, fast phased shooter

    each for their own taste.
    But i dont see a reason why would you want to play this peace of ****

I think it is a good game but it is still to be polished to refine the issue of abilities, some characters are very very unbalanced and others have abilities that are too lethal, apart from all that it has a very very serious failure, the bullets many of the times are not registered on impact for example in the head you on your pc clearly see a bullet in the head and the server does not register or you hit the chest and register in the legs, another thing is the rank system is rubbish, it needs a radical change and much clearer it is not known what goes up and what makes you lower the elo, everything else in terms of performance etc ... is going well… Expand

    For a f2p game its amazing. So far haven't experienced any cheating as far as I can tell but RIOT says they have people manually monitoring suspected cheaters on top of the automatic anticheat which they are constantly improving.

    Final thoughts! This game sucks, don't waste your time or the drive space because it will be unheard of in a year when the next free turd comes along and flushes this one.

    Critic score is only high because it is a free game, I would be mad if I bought this.

    Pretty dull and boring game. Useless powers and zero recoil. Graphics are very bland and does not appeal. I did not like this game much.

    Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

    Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
