Riot makes you stay in a rank by giving you bad teammates on purpose and also DECIDING whether or not you play well. Matchmaking is worse than Justin Trudeau's trip to Europe, RNG in terms of shots is more obvious than Biden falling asleep during his conference with the Israeli PM. 99% of tips onThis game is bad.     Since CS:GO has many cheaters I thought this game would be better. To my shock this piece of crap is 10 times worse!! There are literally ONLY CHEATERS playing. Dont even waste time installing.

    I have been playing as a Valorant since early 2021. It excites me from the very beginning. The game has an interesting design. The details, graphics, characters, skills, and guns are all new to me. Everything is great and cool. Despite the fact that many aspects appear to be new, the game play is still similar when compared to other games I've experienced, such as CSGO. That has made it simple for me to play, and I will have a lot of practice to be good at playing this game.

    The obvious attraction of the Valorant game, though, is the large number of "agents" to choose from. Each of these individuals has unique abilities and skills. The developers produced characters from a variety of countries. My favorite character to play is Raze, a Brazilian with exceptional attacking abilities. She has a lot of agility and so cool.

    The game contains an anti-cheat technology that allows the player to have a more enjoyable experience than with other games. And I'm going to discuss the competitive mode, which increases the difficulty and enjoyment of the game. Each player has a name of rank, which serves as a sign of the player's position. "Iron" is the lowest rank given to the new player, and "Radiant" is the highest. The rating system is working effectively. The team match, on the other hand, is not as well-balanced as it should be.

    On the part of the players To be honest, the community aspect of this game does not appeal to me. In practically every round and mode you play, you'll see other players misbehaving with your teammates. Those players will be identified as "Toxic players," which either indicates the developer hasn't addressed this issue thoroughly enough, or maybe there are too many of these players, hahaha. If you want to play this game, you need to be prepared to cope with pressure and toxic players who may frustrate you at any time during the game.

    Overall, I'd give this game a 8 out of 10 rating. It's a fantastic game to enjoy with your friends. It will be even more difficult and challenging if you play in competitive mode. If you're bored and looking for something to do with your free time, I recommend this game to you. :)    … Expand

    Although I was never a fan of S&D type FPS modes, this hero-stylized variant seems to have resonated with me, and I quite enjoy it.

    This is my little rant about Valorant, I hope you enjoy.

    Movement: Linear movement. Whenever you move it doesn't have the feeling of realistic movement. It's way too linear as if moving on a segway or something similar to that. Adding small tricks like bhopping and such and such could really boost the whole feel of the game.

    Weapons: The weapons aren't always accurate. Yes there are spray patterns, but mostly the gun just overemphesises the pattern way too much.

    Gameplay: Gameplay wise it's really important for you to understand how important composition is. It relies way too much on the composition and not alot on how you play. There are counters to specific agents but... it just doesn't feel equal.

    Artstyle and landscape: The art looks good but ingame it just feels way too stale. It's like New-York. It may look interesting from the outside but it just feels like a plastic landscape.

    Personal feeling: It just doesn't sit. Every game feels empty with no real feeling of completion. I may sit as the topfragger on the scoreboard, but at the end I just dont feel joy.

    Things to add:
    1) Playermodel fov or just fov in general, cause why does the weapon have to sit so close to the camera, it blocks most of the view.
    2) More flexible movement. When looking at everyone except Raze's, Jett's and Neon's frag movies, they dont look as impressive since it's basically just aim clips rather than aim and movement.
    3) MAKE THE WEAPONS MORE ACCURATE SINCE WHO THE HELL CONTROLS A SPRAY PATTERN WHILE AIMING DOWN SIGHTS JEEZUS.    … Expand

    Expected for a free for all. The game is sucks queuing with a random team with a high toxicity level, this game has no filter. Just for me review the game with the reported team and apply necessary action not just banning them for a few days.

    The Developers are mistreating their players by issuing insanely long bans for little things like chat misuse. A friend of mine got a 14 day ban for the chat as well as ranked games because he misused the chat just like the enemy team did. You don't get a 14 day ban if you're constantly AFK, you don't get a 14 day ban for trolling and feeding but you do get one for misusing the chat. HeThe Developers are mistreating their players by issuing insanely long bans for little things like chat misuse. You don't get a 14 day ban if you're constantly AFK, you don't get a 14 day ban for trolling and feeding but you do get one for misusing the chat. He reports people who are evidently cheaters and he never once received a message that said that the person whom he reported got banned. The Valorant support also lives a lot to desire, they are all nice but the truth is that they can't answer a simple question "why is my ban 14 days long?". This friend of mine messaged the Riot Support for VALORANT asking this question and in reply he got the usual, we need to protect young players, such behavior will not be tolerated, but he never received an answer to his question, "why is my ban 14 days long?". He himself admitted that he deserves a ban but a 3 day, max 7 day, ban would do the job. Also, they said, I quote, "...since the suspension is correctly placed, we are unable to modify or remove it." which again says a lot about the developer...… Expand

    This games is Great but Riot is so Costumer unfriendly...Why do people have to dodge the Queue because Riot brought up a absolut unpopular map... but there is no mapvote at all? Maybe Riot would know that people hate their new map by checking the statistics on map-votes... oh wait there is none...     The game is fun, until it decides to constantly kick you from the game when in a comp match and then when you lose the match, you lose like 30 rr and it tends to take 2-3 games to get it back, so Riot, please fix your game, it is unfair when this happens.

    Quit possible the worst fps i ever played.

    Before i go into the pros and cons, let me answer one question. What exactly is Valorant? It's a first person shooter by Riot Games (League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics) with a lot of similarities to cs go.     Before i go into the pros and cons, let me answer one question. What exactly is Valorant?
    It's a first person shooter by Riot Games (League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics) with a lot of similarities to cs go. It adds an agent system to the game, looking to find it's differences towards Valves fps giant. It's designed in a cartoonish style quite like Overwatch. And while it manages to find it's differences here and there you quickly come to realise just how much work they copied and pasted from cs go.

    Now lets start with the few pros there are:
    - Cute design far away from what your used to from cs go
    - both sides (attackers and defenders) use the same weapons. Yeah that's a personal thing but it's something i never liked about cs go
    - beautiful (and unlike cs go quit affordable) skins with cool animations and finishing animations
    - strong anti-cheat

    Sadly that's about it regarding the pros about this game so let's focus on what ruins it:
    - Huge amounts of smurfs, trolls and people going afk, unless your playing at the highest ranks a "normal" game is extremely hard to find
    - terrible gunplay: Random spray patterns / run and gun works way to good
    - boring maps, they all have the same structure: 2 points to plant, a direct and a side path towards each side, as well as a middle path. Differences are small or non existing. With maybe the exception of Bind (those teleporters are quit cool) none of the maps have any features to make them stand out.
    - uninspired weapons, a lot of them straight up copied from cs go (just with a new name)
    - broken rank system: Carrying a game with over 30 kills as a support to win 13:10 wins you the same amount of rr (rank rating) that you lose after losing a game 10:13 with 2 teammates instantly quitting after an 0:3 start. In result it becomes extremely annoying to try and rank up. And don't even get me started about new seasons: For 2 or 3 weeks multiple ranks get cramped together making it an absolute rng fiesta regarding teammates and enemys.
    - the agents (characters) are uninspiring: A lot of ability's are old and known ones from cs go (flashes, smokes, etc.) and a couple knew ones (blinds, teleporter), but they are just thrown onto the agents in different combinations, with a little twist here and there (viper for example has one smoke that she can ignite multiple times and two short lasting molotvs. Brimstone one the other hand has 3 "one use only" smokes and a single but stronger and longer lasting molotov.)
    - unbalanced agents, there's only about 15 of them in the game and there still extremely off in power level
    - the anti-cheat isn't uninstalled after uninstalling the game and still sucks dater from your computer

    All in all a very disappointing experience.

Me and my very good friend bobby have the exact same issues with the game. We have a worm of a person who is scared of playing ranked, the guy is silver 2 and thinks he's well sick what a gimp.     i can recommend valorant if you could play normally with controller (aim assist) and that it's finally available on ps4 and ps5 but for pc people it's good and variety of weapons is not so good

The ranking is heavily tilted towards aggression and empty frags - not winning rounds. Ranked matched making is purely on luck. Good luck on solo queueing - you will be bombarded with bad players. Skins are really expensive. The anti-cheatBad game. Comp is really littered with quitters and toxic players. I do not even know how they pair you with other players as it is not transparent. The ranking is heavily tilted towards aggression and empty frags - not winning rounds. Ranked matched making is purely on luck. Good luck on solo queueing - you will be bombarded with bad players.     Where to start?
    The "new" in this game is that flashes smokes and HE are now in character "skills" with addition to a few new cool things which obviously what everyone wants to play as but cant due to having no map control for the very same stupid reason
    All they had to do is keep frags where they are but add some cool abilities,yet they they didnt even bother to do something creative and just filled the spots with basic things instead and also locked the normal usage for them
    Weapons are exact same,just reskins in high-tech,but the funny point is that they are LESS balanced in their sprays and how they feel
    Pacing is worse,its too slow and relies too much on your positioning or reaction,staggers from getting shot in this game feel even worse then in alternatives, basically freezing you in place from even smallest caliber weapons,who TF thought this was a good idea making it not possible to dodge?this literally makes it in to camping game unless someone has a flash or smoke
    and so it wouldnt be boring to watch in pro-scene they cut down the rounds,which is like okey sure,if it was the only problem
    yeah pro-scene.....this "wanna-be-E-sports" **** is everywhere you can think,and mark my words they will use all of their effort to make this in to one
    Monetisation is a f@cking meme no less,the pricing on those is insane,the only point why this could be better then other is that you can BUY them directly rather then roll the dice in cases,but even then its horrible if you look what you get for that amount of money,i am better off buying actual games with that
    Maps......honesly if they just copied the maps from older CS it wouldnt be so bad....oh wait....thats what they did, but actually managed to mess it all up somehow with them feeling bland
    splitting different regions in completely different serves not letting people from US and RU play together.....no,def a pass on this as well
    Oh and yeah if you happen to live quite far from server hosts you can go f@ck yourself bcs noone cares to make a good cover with a good netcode, i have no more then 10-20 ping in CS,yet this **** manages to skyrocket my ping up to 70-120,and when you play against full party of 5-10 ping players this is just unplayable

    The ONLY good part about all of this is that we MIGHT get a better iteration of this later so CS wouldnt be the only choice for competitive shooters,but i doubt valorant will every get to that point remaning the **** side-kick this deserves to be    … Expand

    What's wrong with this game.... let's start with the aim penalty for moving -- it's FAR too high. This is the first FPS I've ever played where STANDING STILL is the only way to get accurate shots. Next, balance -- it's as if the devs don't know how to balance the agents. Some are far too powerful and others are totally useless. Community -- toxic. I'm certainly not the best FPS player --What's wrong with this game.... let's start with the aim penalty for moving -- it's FAR too high. This is the first FPS I've ever played where STANDING STILL is the only way to get accurate shots. Next, balance -- it's as if the devs don't know how to balance the agents. Some are far too powerful and others are totally useless. Community -- toxic. I'm certainly not the best FPS player -- but to get called every name in the book because the mechanics of the game themselves make you miss your shot? Maps -- poorly designed and difficult to learn. Cheats... yeah, they're in there. Way too many "one shot kill" players with headshot after headshot. Body shots do far too little damage. Way too easy to get headshots. Purchasing of weapons at the start of each round, pathetic design. 13 wins in a standard match? It's ok when you have "balanced teams" (i.e. teams with no one actually hacking or cheating) and the score gets to 10 vs 11 -- but that is VERY VERY rare. Usually you're down by 7 games by the time sides switch -- you already know who's going to win. It's just prolonged agony -- especially when you call a surrender vote and one or more idiots refuse to surrender to the obvious. Do I recommend this game -- absolutely not.     Although vanguard is a heavily intrusive anti-cheat software, it is highly effective in keeping cheaters out of games. CSGO's VAC anti-cheat software is largely ineffective in comparison. I have only ran into one cheater in the entirety of my time playing this game. More FPS games in general need an effective, solid anti-cheat software. The intrusiveness of a kernel-level anti-cheat may detract a lot of players from even downloading this game, however.

    The game is decently optimized and easy to run. Minimum requirements for this game are very low compared to other FPS titles out right now. Frame drops are very rare in my experience and the game runs smoothly.

    Cons:

    The agent abilities are gimmicky at best and absolutely frustrating at worst. Although there are agents with actual skill based abilities such as Raze's blast packs and proper utilization of Jett's dash, most of the abilities feel extremely frustrating to play against and completely ruin the integrity of a competitive tactical shooter.

    Sova's recon arrow, Sage's entire kit, and Killjoy's entire kit are the best examples of this. Who the hell thought wall hacks, automated sentry turrets, and a literal full health revive were a good idea in a competitive tactical shooter? All they do is reduce the skill gap of the game. Positioning and individual skill no longer have as big of an impact due to these abilities.

    Valorant's maps are large with too many angles on each bombsite. This game design decision also reduces the skill gap of the game by forcing players to rely heavily on agent abilities to clear the map rather than actual fundamentals of FPS gameplay. Its like the developers tried way too hard to re-invent the wheel and ended up making a frustrating, gimmicky gameplay experience.

    The gunplay of Valorant is much easier than csgo with less mechanics to learn. Running and gunning is highly prevalent in this game, even with the meta assault rifles such as the phantom and the vandal. Hitting headshots is way too easy in this game and counter-strafing is heavily nerfed in an attempt to appeal to as many players as possible. Appealing to a wider audience of players isn't always a bad thing, but interfering with the fundamentals of FPS games just to gain a larger audience completely ruins the gameplay experience for a lot of FPS players. Spray patterns have been replaced with a bloom mechanic, adding much more randomness to gunfights.

    TL;DR

    Overall, this game is exactly as I expected. A boring, generic tactical shooter with unoriginal mechanics and bland, frustrating, unsatisfying gameplay.    … Expand

    The worst gun play on any FPS I have ever played. Atrocious game play, Clunky movements, unbalanced agents, MMR is a joke, you either stomp or get stomped, and maps are designed by 5 years old with several points to exploit when defending or attacking. The whole game feels like a complete and wonky toin coss. Especially with the randomized Spray Pattern. Stay away from this game.

    This point might have been debunked, I'm honestly not sure, but Riot's Vanguard has full rights to your computer and can do basically anything to it. Vanguard is always running unless you tell it to quit, which will need a restart if you wish to play again. This becomes an issue if a hacker manages to get into Riot's database. Be aware of this before installing incase you have any sensitive files that need to be protected.

    Now, how I feel about the gameplay. I think this game has a lot of issues. While it is fairly balanced in it's characters, much more than a game like Overwatch, the game suffers from poor gunplay, movement, and map design. The gunplay is rather clunky because the spray is pretty random and unpredictable, unlike CS:GO where skill determines how well you handle recoil and spray. If you move just a little while using a rifle or an awp even while crouching, the spray is random. Gun damage makes little to no sense. 3 shots from an AK-47 to the body does not kill but one shot to the head from a revolver is an instant kill. Movement is definitely not as snappy as it should be, and bunnyhopping is too easy.

    The map design is quite bad. There are so many angles and random spots that someone can be or hold. So simple but so problematic. This way, you can play in a "dumb" manner and be rewarded for this. I feel that CS:GO is better in map design by a lot, at least with maps like Inferno and Mirage.

    I would also like to make a point about abilities. Mostly flashbangs. Many of the flashbang abilities in this game are overpowered. You have little to no time to react, and they can be spammed. Sometimes an ultimate from Brimstone or Viper can easily win the match with little to no risk or skill required.

    I will say I enjoy this game with friends, otherwise I would not play it at all. I'm not sure how many hours I have as Riot doesn't include that as a feature as far as I know, but I played most in the beta and this review is a product of how I feel now.

    I hope that my review is in some ways helpful. This game is not bad but it is not good. It does not accomplish what it is trying to be and therefore gets a 6 from me.    … Expand

    7. Cheaters? Not sure. You can't check it without watching replay.
    8. Intrusive anticheat. Does it help against cheaters? We have no demos, so no idea.

    3.) The system before you can get to ranked is also great. You need 10 wins so by the time you get those 10 wins you actually have an idea how to play the game. The rank points depend on how you fit the MMR, your performance, and if you win or lose. Even if you win but performed poorly you could only get +12 while your teammate that performed well could get +30 and even if you lose but performed well you could only get -6 but your teammates who performed poorly could get -23. It works well.

    The skill gap of the game is high. This game is gonna be the king of FPS games for years. I am really having fun learning the game right now.

    - The game lacks any balance at all and understanding why it was added and how it should work.
    - The game has a huge randomness (randomness) in everything. And the worst thing is in the hits, the bullets in the game fly anywhere, but not to the target. Especially if you move away from the line of fire.
    - It is forbidden to move in the game. Squatting and ratting are your tactics in this game.
    - I want to keep silent about ping games and players in general, it shows 50, but it feels like 500.
    - The company assures that there are very few cheaters in the game, but I don't believe that honest players can play so professionally, instantly finding the target and hitting it accurately. Although any movement is a fierce spread.
    As a result, something is clearly wrong with this game.

    And the saddest thing is that time goes by, but the developers are satisfied with everything and they don't want to change anything.

    The game is clearly worth comparing with any other free shooters, like Point Blank (which looks better against its background).

    A game in which so much depends on chance cannot claim even a little bit of a competitive spirit.

    Great overall, I just hate how when you have to get off of the game immediately, you get a punishment because you have to go. It doesn't make any sense! I am trying to literally play my game, but if I have to get off, I have to abandon my team. Riot should allow you to leave without any punishment AT ALL.     I've been playing for a long time. I played cs go at the time, but it was too ordinary for me. quake champions was too chaotic. I don't like battleroyale games either. That's why I chose this game to play a fun online fps. skins are amazing. but the map designs are terrible. I don't want to play on any map other than split, bind, ascent. especially fracture and breeze is a disaster.I've been playing for a long time. I played cs go at the time, but it was too ordinary for me. quake champions was too chaotic. I don't like battleroyale games either. That's why I chose this game to play a fun online fps. skins are amazing. but the map designs are terrible. I don't want to play on any map other than split, bind, ascent. especially fracture and breeze is a disaster. however, I often have to play on maps that I don't like. there are also people who troll a lot of games. It's annoying to play with stubborn jerks who sabotage the team throughout the game and it happens so often. It is mostly a problem to enjoy the game because of smurf accounts. if the map, smurf, troll accounts problems go away, I will reevaluate my review. especially the map selection feature should come very urgently.… Expand

    In years they weren't capable of tackling the amount of cheaters on the game and kept breaking the game update after update.

    Useless Matchmaking, downloaded for the first time, on my first game got match with LVL 88 players that got negative with me because I didn't know how to play! Do better with your matchmaking! , I was just trying to have fun, end up uninstalling useless game -.-

    game error finding matches and logging in continuously, updates do not fix errors, only worrying about making game skins to cause inhibition

    Many cheating players have been reported, but the overall game situation has not improved. The official should be more considerate of the players’ voices. Increase the rp system so that players can clearly point out the weird behavior of the cheaters.

    There is no denying that riot has put a lot of effort into this game. But despite the abilities that you have, it is just like every other shooter of the modern era. The FPS genre has been very lackluster in originality as of late, and most are just clones or combinations of already existing games. For Valorant, it feels like CS-GO with Overwatch-ish graphics. Yes, they are optional, but it is practically impossible to obtain them through just playing the game, and that is just wrong.     this is a very bad game if u want to know what depression feels like in 1 hour u should play this game i am having the worst day imaginable and bam u go into competitive mode and ur day is guaranteed to get a lot worse

Like riot, the company that been sucking up my wallet through highschool and every league addicts can make a game that feel like it been made by an indie dev team. The movement dear god it feel so stiff, and when you get tag ? God damn it feel bad like real bad, thank god they nefted KJ. The core game, same as cs go yes but, it is a class based shooter game. And you know why it is bad ? Like league you have to be a specific class for specific things, but what if no one in your team dont know how to play smoke character and all of them are sweety duelist ? well i guess you are **** Speaking of smoke, the smoke on this game feel so low quality like really low for a 2020 game from a million dollar company. Sometime valve do **** up on their part of balancing the gun, but do you actually believe Riot with "balancing" ? Have you ever play League then you would know what i mean, and now they want to balancing agents ? Goodluck buddy. Going back to the shop itself, beside the dummy high price of the skin, r a d i a n i t e. So you spend you hard earn money on a skin that you surely you cant get some value back, well you have to upgrade them by spending more money for it. Oh wait my bad, you can get it in the BATTLEPASS for cheaper price. I swear they do this intentionally to make people feel the need of buying the battlepass, if that true that is a real dick move. For real, just play csgo for better gameplay feel, saving money buying skin then learn how to trading then move up from there, yes there are cheaters and i must give Valorant prob for having a third party software that running monitoring everything on your pc so we most likely "free" of cheater, ahhh yes thank you for a potential spyware on my pc… Expand

    This game is just a Joke. Matchmaking is so unbalenced and its contaminated with smurfers. The Graphics are better as CS:GO but the Gameplay and Gamedesign is worst. I think its not worth to buy skins or what else from the store because everyday is the same skins in the Stores.

    Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

    Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
