    I hate the afk penalty bs because if I go afk for ONE ROUND, i get a afk penalty offense for "ruining other people's experiences". I hope that they fix this because if you go afk so many times (like 5 times), then you will get TOTAL GAME BANNED. Gotta love the people working over their in riot games. I HAVE A WEEK BAN BC I HAD TO EAT DINNER LIKE WTF?!?!?!

Se eu pudesse descrever o jogo com uma palavra usaria "quebrado", eu poderia de chamar o jogo de corra e atire, ta mais para uma olimpíada na Faixa de Gaza, alguns bonecos parecem pesar 1 tonalada, enquanto outros saem quicando pelo mapa atirando bombas, se eu fosse descrever as paredes, usaria um papel A4 que resistiria mais, o jogo vara até o céu, fora isso ele e bem bonito e colorido, caso você goste de colorir desenhos, sugiro que jogue!… Expand

    **** game needs to fix the comp system losing more then you win needs to also get a grip on the smurfs and pull there balls out. valorent ranking system should have a bigger discouragement on leaving games once leave should delete that account in a comp game

    This game is not unique in any way. This game is a lazy fusion of CS:GO and Overwatch. Everything from the game mechanics, map design, characters, abilities, animations and more make me thing that this was ripped from hard drives at Valve and Blizzard. It's really sad to think that the same company that made League of Legends could make a game this abysmally bad. Not even to mention thatThis game is not unique in any way. This game is a lazy fusion of CS:GO and Overwatch. Everything from the game mechanics, map design, characters, abilities, animations and more make me thing that this was ripped from hard drives at Valve and Blizzard. It's really sad to think that the same company that made League of Legends could make a game this abysmally bad.     Jett is literally just Mercy mixed with Zenyetta from Overwatch, Savo is literally just Hanzo, and Reyna is just Moira.

    For anyone interested in the hype around this game, don't buy into it. This game is free and I still feel like I deserve a refund.    … Expand

    To be honest, the ideas of this game arent new, as everyone can see. The modes and map designs are pretty much straight ripped and recycled from CS:GO and the characters aren't really interesting.
    The game is pretty darn unbalanced as well.     The game is pretty darn unbalanced as well. Sure, in other shooters like Rainbow Six Siege or CS:GO, you also have an advantage if you can hit the heads. But here, its simply frustrating. If i get shot in the head by an AK in CS:GO im just like "ok fine". But here, the rage factor is a thousand times higher. The graphics quality also isn't great. Maybe i just don't like the style of the game. Another thing that bothers me, is the fact that you walk slower for a period of time when getting shot at. From a balancing point of view, this may make sence, but if you die because of this, you just want to uninstall the game and never play it again. Another point are the cosmetics. Sure, they look cool, but they are overpriced AS HELL, and you can t just play to unlock, them, you are FORCED to pay money. The anti-cheat also isn't great. Sure, it works and you rarely see cheaters, but it is always running in the background using CPU capabilities.
    And if you exit it, you can'T just open int up again, you have to restart the ENTIRE PC. If the devs were to fix these issues, it would be a great game, but as of right now, it sucks (been playing since beta day 1 btw. , just for credibility)    … Expand

    Valorant is supposed to be a contender for CSGO, but at the end of the day, Valorant might be worse than a game made 10 years ago, by a company who forsaken the game over and over.
    -So first of all, soon after the release date came a drama about their AC, which was intrusive and oversold by Riot Games. Not a good way to start.
    -Then came up a lot of record about server, hit reg, peeker    Valorant is supposed to be a contender for CSGO, but at the end of the day, Valorant might be worse than a game made 10 years ago, by a company who forsaken the game over and over.

    -Then came up a lot of record about server, hit reg, peeker avantage issues. And again the game was sold to be on point with this well known problem in fps.
    -The gun play feel clunky sometimes but always rewarding because of the sound cue, try a match with no sound cue and you will notice how boring, it was to kill your opponent. I feel like there is too much placebo on this game to alleviate with some big problems.
    -The map architecture might be the biggest issue, claustrophobic, some spot feel not daring to engage in because you know that if you pass a doorway it will be a 50:50 from your right or left.
    It's a beginner mistake in term of level design when you do fps maps. On steam workshop you can find this kind of map being rated 1 star for CS GO.
    -The ability create a meta like in Overwatch, but if you look at the state of Overwatch over the years you will find out that it was always the same character over 80% of the time.
    And Valorant might be following Overwatch steps, with the way agents are made and also how they balance them.
    - Then finally come the E-Sport side and i will drop right their a KEKW and explain why i feel it wont last long or will survive like Overwatch at the expense of other games made by the same company.
    Valorant E-sport is just grabbing every subtop Cs-Go pro player to feed their player base with cash prize and money. It's again following the path of Overwatch on this side.
    By launching e-sport before the community is made and willing to have e-sport to follow.
    With the way they made their e-sport scene everything will be fine over 1 to 3 years in the best way, for OW it was 2 years. Then everything will stagnate and because they wont produce much in every aspects.
    They might end up investing a lot of money by the company or find partnership which aren't good for their community for the sole purpose of money. At the end even suck up from other game investment. Remember that riot is developing a fighting and an rpg game.

    To conclude, their is still hope but Riot Games need to do the right choice and address the problems in the game with the right answers.    … Expand

    Honestly one of the worst AAA games ever made, terrible balancing, horrible maps, one of the work ranking systems ever made, huge smurfing problems and constant connection issues. The game play is decent but all the other problems just ruin the game.

I started playing two months ago and having played any first-person shooter games, makes my first valiant experience a bad experience. I did not like the shooting mechanic at all. Coming from Fortnite, where hitscan is the shooting mechanic which makes shooting way easier. Literally, all you have to do is put your crosshair at their hitbox and shoot. All I can say is, if you want to focus on playing competitively, you should definitely start aim training. I would recommend using Aimlab to practice aiming and do some warmup before competitive games if you don’t want to get crushed. You can even do some practice in Valorant’s shooting range. I would 102% recommend it as it might also help you with different guns. Aside from the shooting mechanic, all that is left is the agent and the in-game decision. I was struggling at first because I had no idea what each agent does until I learned each and every one of them. Learning about each agent’s skill definitely helped me when it comes to making decisions each round. I would recommend watching professional matches to help you when it comes to in-game decisions. If I forgot to mention that this is a team game, making decisions based on your team is important. Or you can just instant lock Reyna and race every round if you’re good/or smurfing. Overall, it is a fun game to play. I like the creativity of the graphics of the map and the agent’s background. They could’ve made the gun skins cheaper tho….… Expand

To combat the First Light incident, a secret organization called the Valorant Protocol, has brought together talented Agents from around the world.
    Valorant is a strategic shooter. Which if it is to be compared directly and this game is like a hybrid game Counter Strike: GO and Overwatch, the gameplay will be a 5 vs 5 battle between 2 players. Known for controlling the map by slowing down enemies and building walls, Sentinel, an expert in defense and exploration, as well as setting traps and duelists with dueling abilities focuses on direct combat.

    I activally play games for around 13 years. I never saw a game with that much hackers and smurfs with a lifetime of nearly one year. Every third lobby has a smurf, every fifth Lobby has a hacker. And then they say Vanguard is a totally advanced Anti-Cheat-Software. I really have to hold back my laughter. Last time i saw something like this was in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (but it was 8I activally play games for around 13 years.     Support is almost unavailable. You often only get the same computer generated message.

    Champions are unbalanced. Weapons are overpowered.

    You can't get any skins worth mentioning without paying money. These are not exactly small amounts either. It's between 15-30€ per skin, which is absolutely hilarious.

    The game doesn't really have any new features. You take CS:GO, give it a new look, vary the hand grenades a bit, and take a few small features from Overwatch. That's pretty much it.

    Was it a complete waste of time? Yes. Was it fun? At first yes, after the third cheater/smurflobby it became less so. After they didn't care if you reported them (pretty much everyone didn't care), it was clear to me that the support is overtaxed or disinterested as long as they make good money from the game.

    Overall, the game was an absolute disappointment.
    The fusion of Overwatch and CS:GO with a near perfect anti-cheat program just sounded too good to be true. It was obvious that this wouldn't work out. Especially not with Riot. Because what have they ever managed to do well, except League of Legends, which is also just an improved copy of Dota. In the future I will probably stay away from this publisher with great certainty.    … Expand

Until the game puts you against trash people to make you feel better. Rinse, wash, repeat. When its not smurfs, its trolls who ruin your games. Maps look like a 5 year built them with legos.This game is unplayable. Reporting players doesnt really seem like working. When players leave u stll have a way too big disadvantage.     2. Worst Player progression. If you want to earn some cool things just by playing you have to up to 120000XP points to unlock just one gun skin. One Match gives you around 4000Xp if you are winning. All the gun skins are for pistols.

    3. Suck Players up Microtransaction system. If you wanna buy skins for guns 1st you have to buy Extra VP just so you can buy the Bundle then Sped more money on RP another currency you need to upgrade visuals of the guns you just buy for around 60USD Full gun bundle will cost you around 120USD with all Effects unlock. (there is also a 350USD Elder Flams bundle)

    3. Worst Battlepass and Progression system. The BP never gives your VP back so you can buy the next one for free. You only get 2 Daily challenges that give you a total of 4000XP. Riot is so greedy they just completely lost the meaning of a battle pass. They just acting like they are the Only FTP game in the Milkyway Galaxy.

    4. Worst Map Designs. Icebox is the best example.

    5. Riot doesn't give a fuk about player feedbacks.

Valorant is not going to be the easiest game to get into at first as it is a big change for many gamers. Luckily, Riot has 4 game modes out already! For quick and fun games, players can hop into Spike Rush. Spike Rush is a best of 7 game mode that takes around 15 minutes. Another mode for players is deathmatch. This is the common game mode for many games. Players load in and try to get as many kills as possible. The third game mode is Unrated. To win this game mode, a team needs to win 13 rounds. These games can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 60 minutes depending on how many rounds go by. The most popular game mode is Competitive. it is exactly like Unrated, however in this game mode, you have the ability to rank up. Ranks go from iron to Valorant. The top players are in Valorant while the new players end up in Iron, usually. Winning games and playing well is how you climb the ranks.
    Overall, this game is very fun to play and wanting to rank up makes it competitive. I am excited to see how this game will go as it is still very early in its life.    … Expand

    This game is really fun with friends and is very competitive but I don't get why riot games prices their skins so high like there is no way to ern free skins only a few from the agents but only for pistols and all the good skins a ridiculously overpriced.     match making is awful - win rate for me is 24% and usually middle frag. do not invest in this game without friends, solo queuing is a VERY painful experience. the chill modes (spike rush) can be fun, but again MM and they have a golden gun that should be out of the game. also certain agents just wreck this mode. leads me to Riot just    already mentioned, great potential but falls short.

    It’s bad. Ranking system is not based on skill, but on match make luck. Lost my promo to platinum fame only because 2 out of the 5 people on my team left the game.

    It's a low-tier chinese CSGO clone that fails at being fun or original.
    The characters are bland, the maps are bland, the... EVERYTHING is bland and uninspired.
    This game was PAINFUL to play (unlike CSGO) and perfectly encapsulates the safe and inoffensive tripe that the CCP is really going for in gaming today. Absolutely forgettable and an easy hard pass.

    ( platinum 2 Played 150 hours and 1400 hours of CSGO) This game is an unpolished cheap Chinese mobile knockoff of CS. It is the most unenjoyable FPS experience ever made. Reyna is blatantly broken, rifles are **** maps are horribly designed and the movement is clunky and stiff. valorant vs cs is like paladins vs overwatch

    Valorant is a fun fps game, but competitive gameplay is often ruined by cheaters, and sometimes low ranked players can get queued with much higher ranked players and get totally destroyed. not to mention higher-ranked players creating another account to smurf in lower ranks. The ranking system is totally unfair, which makes competitive gameplay a lot less fun

I know that they encourage you to get a mic but people only use it to talk crap to teammates. I mostly play older games but this is one of the most toxic communities I ever seen and I just started to grief my team into losses deliberately due to their attitude. No fun in winning or losing rounds. Huge lack of variety. The progression system is not very interresting. Maps are pretty boring. It is a game made for CS players. I may have rated this game a bit higher if it was not for the toxicity on mic chat that this game offers which in itself is enough to make me not want to play this game. No desire to improve or get better at the game either. Honestly the most fun I had on this game was griefing toxic teammates.

    I had high hopes for this game, I love the artwork and the aesthetics, but the actual core of the game is terrible. I don't like hyper-realistic games so I never got into CSGO but always liked the concept. Unfortunate that this didn't live up to my expectations at all.
    Considering they didn't really need to think of a type of game (given this is literally just cartoon CSGO, which I don't shame or anything), you would think more work would go into the coaching/training aspect of practice modes and some actual explanations behind skills- ie. A showcase clip of when/how the skill would be used.

    Valorant is one of the, if not the most LUCK based FPS games I’ve ever played. There is said to be a set damage on the buy menu, but the damage appears to be completely randomized. You can shoot someone in the head and do a little over 1/5 of their health. They do things like raise the amount of money it takes to buy certain guns for absolutely no reason at all. The game is completely unbalanced and absurd and any player can see why as soon as they touch it because not a round or two goes by where something crazy happens. The ranked system is the worst that I’ve ever seen. You can get 40 kills and not die a single time and still get astronomically decreased if you end up losing, even if you’re match mvp. I’ve seen players that were in diamond end up in iron in two weeks. The matchmaking is horrible and not skill based at all. Do NOT play ranked if you don’t have your own teammates. The client is terrible, sometimes it kicks you out mid match and penalizes you from playing, or decreases you. There is often way more downtime than promised with updates. The developers seem to be more focused on putting out skins to be purchased with real money than fixing the game.

    The skins are expensive, but not as expensive as some other games. However, they do not provide any type of benefit, and people can just take the skins from you if you die. The battle pass is decent, however.

    I can go on and on about the terrible qualities of the game, but at the end of the day all I can say is stay away from it at all cost.    … Expand

    Its like Overwatch, but with more updates and memorable characters.
    Riot Games out-does Blizzard and Valve after just 1 year of VALORANT being available publicly.
    Best shooter that exists to date. Easy to learn and dangerously addictive.

Even when changing weapon sometimes you travel back in time. Enemy peaks looks like a prefs. Occasionally, you will see a packet loss spikes exactly on the time of your death. All of these on 20ms ethernet connection. The code quality is not even close to what is expected from such aim oriented game.

    -Sound is just terrible. It takes a lot of experience in order to understand where the sound is coming from. Half of the times events don't produce any sound. Enemy can make a giant strafe and you hear no sound of steps.

    -Weapon shooting is very random. The bullet can fly to nowhere even if you already stopped. Hitboxes are terrible as well. You can often see a direct hit from your op on your death screen. Moving shots are pretty effective and this make the duels very stupid. They are too random and skill is not very important.

    -It doesn't have a lot of obvious things: replays (want to know whether you played against cheater or a pro? No replay for you, sorry), console, custom maps, dedicated servers (even stupid tutorial is on Riot server). It seems to much to ask for a new game, but you're copying CSGO, can you please copy the good staff too.

    -Bugs. A lot of them.

    -The animation is not smooth. This is a big issue for movement. Basically, they only have moving and standing still animations. It leads to very sudden enemy stop and it often looks like they killed you on the move.

    -Graphics is terrible by the way. They are just drawing spheres instead of smokes. One could tell it's the style of the game, but I think Riot wanted to make the game as cheaply as possible.

    -Anticheat consumes all resources of your PC and there are still cheaters in the game.

    -Matchmaking is full of smurfs and rank of the player doesn't reflect the skill level.

    -Maps are rather boring. It makes strategic part of the game basically absent. Fast rushes is the most common strategy even on the highest level.

    -Competitive scene is a CSGO nursing home. Mostly consist of ex-CSGO players who can't compete due to age or ban. Have some good young players bought out by Riot from other games. The competitive matches look rather boring.

    -And the main problem of the game is marketing. The prices are stupidly high. And cosmetic updates are the main focus of the developer team. I think if Riot put some effort into making this game good, it would be pretty nice competitive game. But the problem is that they won't. It makes money already and it is not economically reasonable to spend developer's time on improving the game. May be, in 3-5 years they will slowly fix the game, but it doesn't worth waiting.

    Pros? Hard to find but:

    -I generally like the ultimate mechanics. It gives you a way to get out of disadvantage and makes gameplay a little more dynamical.

    -I could have said 128 tickrate servers, but due to terrible code of the game, it doesn't give any advantage.

    To conclude, I don't know how it is possible but they were copying CSGO and made a game even worse than CSGO is. I only played this game cause my friend likes it and doesn't want to play CS.    … Expand

    This is by far the worst popular FPS ever made. Seriously. The worst. I can tell it now that I have a huge ammount of hours on it playing through the ranks (currently Diamond3). I've tried real hard to keep on the game, but I just can't.

    Community is toxic. By toxic I mean TOXIC. It's the worst game community that I've ever saw. Basically every game will have a player screaming and complaining about how everyone is bad and sucks while he can't even shoot someone. Months ago I was tired of csgo, but man, csgo looks like a playground when compared to this game.

    But ok. You can always play with your friends right?
    Yes. Then you have the lobbies. They're not balanced AT ALL. They're always unbalaced. Sometimes you're playing with a guy that lookes like he's never played before at the same time that you're playing against a guy that seems to be a pro player.

    And hacks... yeah, they're there. Riot keeps pretending they're not with they invasive anti cheat that looks more with a malware, but yeah. they're everywhere. It's nearly impossible to play like 3 games without having a rack in at least one of them.

    And... the hitreg. Man, this is bad. You shoot in the head and the server register on the chest. Simple as that. Sometimes you spray on your opponent and the shoots go like through the enemy instead of hitting him and you just.. die.

    Seriosly. The main idea of valorant is good. It had potential to be a good and a fun game, but ended up as disaster to make money with skins and create a forced competitive scene with a lot of orgs spending money on ex-csgo players to make more.. yes, money.

    If you want a good tactical fps, there's a lot of them out there. But valorant is one to be avoided. This game fails in every single aspect. It's a joke.    … Expand

Valorant is just not as good as other shooters out there. The main 2 assault rifles are literally RNG based for the spray and no first shot accuracy on them either. When I first heard that deathmatch was in the works I was excited because I really like CSGO’s deathmatch. But when it came out U was severely disappointed. First of all, its only FFA. Theres no TDM. Second, the mini map shows your location (and others locations) at all times which leads to constant corner camping. Last, its 14 players. FOR FFA! 14 is just way too many players for ffa. If it was TDM with 14 that would be just fine but come on. When I was playing deathmatch I was paranoid and constantly kept looking behind me. Also the spawns suck too. And every time I looked behind my self someone in front of me would headshot dink me with the Vandal while walking. Some things I do like about valorant are its map design. The maps in valorant are pretty cool honestly. I also like character abilities. Riot was able to perfect this in LoL and it transitions pretty well to a FPS game. The gun buying system also in my opinion is better than CSGO’s buying system. Valorant for me just doesn’t hit the mark for an fps game but has some cool features and mechanics. One more bad thing. Most of the players on valorant are mostly people that have played competitive Fortnite and I’m not being the redditor thats like “DURR FORTNITE BAD DURRRR” but if you have ever played a competitive fortnite game you can say that it’s extremely sweaty and people play like they’re gonna win a cash prize. Non-existent people plant the spike and go run in some corner and hide, no covering fire in any passage (no backup.) Seriously it's a disgrace to release such a bad game in 2020, even Team-Fortress 2 looks better and it's from 2007.

    As with Riot's other games, they do nothing to discourage leaving during non-competitive play, therefore your initial experience with the game will be imbalanced teams plagued by disconnects and leaves on either side.

    One wonders why they fail to address such a simple issue with some system of deincentivization.

    If you want to play a game that will give you a headache because the opposite team is full of smurfs and cheaters, this is a game for you. Ranking system, matchmaking, servers, frequent nerfs and buffs slow gameplay, fps drops, high ping, etc. I hate this game.

The game of Valorant mechanically is slightly less demanding than that of cs because of the bigger headshot hitboxes. Valorant has great movement mechanics but very spread weapon spray patterns compared to CSGO. Weapons while moving are given less penalty while moving compared to cs. (Running 1taps.) Certain agents have flash mechanics that you can't turn away from. (Omen). Bhopping in Valorant is a gimmic that give absolutely NO advantage. Networking is beneficial for people with higher ping. (Peekers advan.) Audio in Valorant is very poor. There is no white noise and footsteps are too easy to pinpoint, and makes Deathmatch pointless. The map design in Valorant is overly complicated and makes matchmaking a much more stressful experience. There is no penalty for making a new account and smurfing right away.

    TLDR:In my opinon It is a more arcady version of CSGO. It is a very fun but different game, but should not be taken serious as a competitive shooter if the game remains as is. Massive improvements to the game must be made to make it its own great shooter. Valorant has potential to be great unique game, but as is it's nothing more than a new game to play in 2020.

    I'm giving this game a 4/10 because the game has little to offer atm other than 5v5, Casuals and DMs. If Valorant had custom browser for community servers and more to offer than the season pass it would be a much more entertaining game.    … Expand

The game is not smooth as CSGO. Server pick for low latency is a scam, why? I choose a server with 40ms but when I'm in the match, it was 150ms. If you happen to get trapped here in a solo queue game, you pray to god and run down praying that the enemy is on the side you are looking at. Also the maps are very small. A game like valorant would benefit from having bigger maps and actually allowing the attacking side a chance. Don''t even get me started on the new map, ice box. It is completely ct sided and has so many angles there is no way to win without playing with friends.
    Leading on to my next point, (secondly,) solo queing is basically impossible. I soloqueued most of my time playing valorant, mainly because many of my friends quit. Especially in the lower ranks, there is 0 communication. This paired with the map design where enemies can be any where at any time makes the game unplayable.
    Finally, The weapons in the game are terrible. There is no first shot accuracy, and the recoil pattern is COMPLETLY random which makes the game just horrible and essentially based on luck.
    In conclusion I think valorant is a game with a very good concept but with very poor designing and gameplay. It is way to reliant on teamates and the weapons make the game luck based. Although I realise that having bad teamates is part of playing an online game, there is no option to try and get rid of these teamates by kicking.     This game doesn't even have any original ideas, they straight up copy other ideas from other famous E-sports Titles like CS:GO, Rainbow Six, Overwatch, etc. This game also has wonky mechanics and unsatisfying gameplay. From any other games that I can compare Valorant with are like the mobile rip-offs for CS:GO and i'd still prefer the mobile rip-offs.

    Even the tournaments, Pro players using Odin? a gun that can be easily used by a 8 year old? what are you even trying to accomplish here?

    But the smurfing are the worst I have seen in a very long time. This a Riot game, which means they will overpower the champs they want you to buy (Reyna, Jett) and reward the style of play that's most exciting for streaming, like the duelist class in general. This is not new for Riot (see Assassins in League of Legends). That all being said, the gameplay is slow and doesn't offer anything new to the FPS genre, the community is more toxic than most, and the matchmaking is the worst I've seen by far.     Boring. Rush A or B. Plant/Defuse. Rinse and repeat but now you have skills. Can't even get past the half time mark without getting bored. The TTK is just plain bad. The first one who shoots wins. I am not a fan of tactical shooter games anyways so meh. Deathmatch is kinda fun but again the TTK of the game is trash so it dies fast too.

    The game looks cartoonish with slowest and the longest matches 42 mins with other problems as well. Matchmaking are nightmare in a competitive, bad agents design and abilities, game need more maps with descent level design, shop items are more expensive then new cyberpunk game , hitboxes never registered when u got clean headshots, sometimes feel like playing luck base game.

    I've been playing CS:GO for many years and I have reached the maximum rank on it, I know when it's hard to get a good shot or a good movement, but on Valorant it seems that everyone is a pro, i played in all ranks, (gold platinum diamond and immortal) and there is no difference in skill between the players, perhaps it seemed even more difficult to play against gold than against immortals.

    Lag is unbearable in most of the lobbies I have found. Plenty of hackers, even though Riot requires I launch their useless anticheat. Really just a money grab for people stupid enough to purchase skins.

    Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

    Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
