    Valorant has a lot of the same issues that it's sibling League of Legends has but that doesn't change the fact that it is a highly polished fps with a lot of potential for the future. The game has interesting characters, deeply satisfying gunplay and excellent weapon balancing that provides a pretty solid experience overall.     Why would you play this game over other shooters? The net code is terrible, bullet registration can be non existent at times, the agents are not that balanced (for example sova is way more fun to play over someone like breach) flashes can be a pain to deal with, bullets go anywhere they want to, its almost like the bullets follow rng, the guns are basically all instant kills. There are smurfs everywhere. Players are really toxic, the anticheat is shady, their skin prices are questionable (they can cost like as much as new game, sometimes maybe even more than a new game). Now I understand that the devs need to make their money, but come on, for a game that really did not have a marketing budget, (they used the twitch streamer key code strat to get free publicity even before launch of the game) in a pandemic where ppl have lower pay or lost their job entirley, i think its a bit scummy to charge so much for a knife skin that you barely even see while youre playing the game. So, are there any positives? The game runs extremley well even on fairly cheap or old systems, you can have a playable experience on almost any system, but thats not an achievment for an esports game. The game is fun to play with freinds (if you care playing with more than 3 people in a party and in competetive queue, it can take a long time to get into a game), something funny does happen from time to time in the game. But thats about it, solo queue can be increbidly hit or miss, having either really kind teammates, toxic teammates, bad teammates, toxic opponents and so on. Do not be fooled by the 80 critic score, as of writing this review, nearly 60% of the user reviews are negative or good, which means a majority of the people writing a review for this game think that it is not good.
    If you just started playing this game or are thinking of playing it, stop, it is simply not worth it in my opinion, there are plenty of other shooters you can play.    … Expand

If you decide to close it, you will have to restart your entire windows operating system for it to load again and obtain the kernel level access it says it needs.

    The movement is like really slow. It feels like you are walking but you are actually auto running by default. Moving through the map feels like you are slowly sliding over the floor because of the lack of animations and weight to the movement, there is no acceleration curve, no momentum to moving in this game.

    To shoot you first need to aim and to be completely dead still, no moving while you shoot. Recoil is still not reduced enough while aiming with the sight and hits are not marked clearly with a hitmarker sound or visual feedback. You just have to guess how much damage you have done and bullets don't register properly most of the time, it doesn't depend on your connection, they sometimes just go through and deal no damage.

    Games are long, graphics look like washed out rubber and animations in game are a joke. The game looks and feels and has the same feedback as a cheap indie game. No responsive, smooth and satisfying animations and sounds for you, not shooting feedback, no sprinting mechanics, no interactive and original map design, plain boring abilities...

    For you to like this you have to love CS so much you are willing to play a downgraded version of it and literally suffer for months while you get used to ignoring and compensating it's flaws and just be good and maybe, just maybe you keep playing it out of addiction from winning. The game is trash on any level deeper than that, you are not missing anything if you don't play this.    … Expand

    The worst game that mankind ever made. Stolen mechanics and gameplay from other games. If you want to get one step closer to the suicide, than you should play this game for sure. Thanks Riot games for made the second worst game in human history. The first was league of legends ;)

The graphics are more like "meh" and from the arround 20(including seconds) highly boring designed weapons, everyone just uses two. since the rest are trash.     I'm not skilled enough for one tap head shots and I get 3-5 excellent enemies who one tap me in 0.4 sec. So i figured, maybe I need a fresh account.     Intro-
    Where to start with this game. I genuinely was trying to like this gameAs an FPS veteran(going on like 11-12 years) and CSGo veteran with over 1000 hours, I hopped onto this game hoping for something to revitalize my dying soul and after playing it for about a week let me say this game failed to do so.

    1_Monatization-
    First, this game caters exclusively to pure comp, and that's it. there is no incentive to continue to play this game casually as you do not earn anything post-match. Games like Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege, and dare I say CS, do this by giving post-match rewards at end of each match or when you level up. The cosmetic items are utter trash and cost way too much for a basic skin to be purchased with the decent skins costing more than a brand new game or a game that is fun to play(Upwards of 70-100 dollars for ONE skin). The monetization schemes that are in this game are worse than that of any CoD, Fortnite, or other popular shooter game.

    2-Graphics
    They are bland, unappealing and there isn't much to look at on each map, based on the reviews on this thread, I'm not gonna really beat a dead horse, but the game is not good looking/

    3-Characters
    When I hear "Hero Shooter" I expect a level of depth in the characters. Siege does this more in the bios and lore outside of the game and the same with overwatch. This game attempted to do it as well but, It didn't work out. There isn't any story as to why the characters are doing what they are doing. Overwatch it is because of Talon, Siege it's because of the white mask terrorist and the teams are training, Apex is because its a tournament that the competition is in. Valorant has no story and doesn't follow up on anything. Like they have all these character quotes but in the end, they mean nothing.

    4-No Casual play
    I realize that they released deathmatch and had a spike rush, and that's a good start, however with only like 5 maps that gets old real quick. They don't allow us to customize the game in a way like CS does with us creating whole other games within the CSGO engine or creating. There isn't anything like this and the game is just boring.

    5-Weapons/gameplay
    Weapons are trash and have like 3 good weapons. the others aren't fun as they can not be used in a comp sense. Vandal, phantom, op. That's all the usable weapons in this game. past that any other gun, except for the more expensive SMG that I can't be bothered to remember the name of that doesn't have 3 round burst and the judge if you want to have fun, the other weapons aren't even worth using. Bucky isn't good past like 2 inches from your face, Stinger is meh, the bulldog is trash the dmr is trash and the other sniper isn't worth buying. Also, why is there only like 12 guns in the game. CSGO has 34. Valorant what is your excuse, and if you say free I am going to blow my head off because a fully upgraded skin costs like 300 bucks. Do you know how many TY plush toys I can buy with that money theoretically? But yeah weapons are bad.. The gameplay is repetitive because only 4/5 of the game is playable and boils down to spam flashes/smokes and then push. Oh, you don't have smokes? well, Eat a dick you should have had smokes. Other games allow for other characters to carry other gadgets and tools to have utility and is plentiful throughout the game. Where is this in Valorant? non existant. Then let's not even talk about the server problems the game has where someone will not even be on your screen but your dead to them or they are still sliding around as the piss poor servers attempt to place them at like 4000 ping in Malaysia in you suburban town in Michigan.

    6-Conclusion
    I really tried to like this game. I even gave it more time than I give most games to play in a week, however, it didn't hook me and I can not say for the reasons above, recommend this game to anyone as it feels safe and built from the ground up as a scheme to generate cash. I mean **** they made rank queue for a game that was like 3 weeks old and only had a bunch of LoL players that haven't touched an FPS game in their entire life play it and call it a good game. This game is a complete and utter mess and after a year of it being out, It should have never came out in the state that it is in and feels rushed out the door. I really don't know how big streamers such as Pokimane and others endorse a product like this as it genuinely isn't good.    … Expand

    This game has a total of 2 modes. Search and destroy, and free-for-all. You can only use your characters powers by playing the search and destroy mode, free for all doesn't even let you choose which character you're going to be playing as, not that it matters.     Valorant was a very cool looking game in concept when it first showed up and the potential seemed to be limitless with the characters abilities and the meta changes whenever a new character would be introduced plus the promised high skill ceiling and that utilities and abilities would play only an assisting role in getting kills.

    Now, a little more than a year after its release the game is still plagued by many issues it hasn't fixed since beta and it's showing no sings of fixing the issues any time soon.

    3 of those major issues are:
    1. Terrible Matchmaking.
    2. Broken Accuracy on all guns.
    3. Characters abilities have way to much impact.

    Terrible matchmaking?
    more often than not, when queuing up into valorant lobbies the game is already decided when you have been placed with significantly worse teammates than the opponents team, sometimes facing people 4 ranks above you meanwhile having teammates 4 ranks under you.

    It quickly becomes obvious that if you don't solo win every round and hard carry your entire team over and over and over you'll have no chance of winning the game whatsoever and if you'd play like you normally would and not like you're held at gunpoint facing certain death if you don't win the game, you'll be very unlikely of winning that game.

    Games are almost always incredibly one-sided and you're either on the team getting destroyed or you're the one destroying the enemy team.

    Broken accuracy on all guns?

    There's a meme in the valorant community called ''precise gunplay'' which is something infamously said in the trailer for the game when they talked about the games features and mechanics.

    The reason this is a meme is because valorant has some of the most terrible and downright devastatingly bad accuracy in any game right now. Normally, spraying in any game means that the accuracy exponentially gets worse and randomized in an increasingly growing pattern away from the crosshair but in valorant the spray only has a pattern for about the first 6 shots until it gets completely randomized and that is when you're standing still, like the game is supposedly intended to be.

    That is far away from the problem, because it's when you start to move around and shoot where the game goes into the deep end.

    The spray pattern on every single gun is 100% random when running and follows no pattern whatsoever which means you could hold your crosshair at someone's head while running and spraying and your bullets would have a chance to hit with perfect accuracy right on the crosshair instead of somewhere around it like it should actually be.

    Having people jump, fall, prefire, running and still getting kills while they are full spraying is something that happens all the time and it's incredibly frustrating to play against and is just painful when you spend many hours trying to become better at the game only to have someone kill you only because they where luckier than you.

    Characters abilities have too much impact?
    When the valorant devs first talked about the game and how each character had and unique role and playstyle, one that would be important to win the game but not the sole reason? There is already quite few characters in the game with abilities that can kill people almost for free with very little counter play other than picking one of few characters with a get-out-of-jail-free ability who could survive such a situation.

    If you're playing a character who has access to long ranged utilities you make it utterly impossible for the enemy team to win the round via defusing the bomb since they'd just die to you while you're 60 meters away behind 3 different walls.

    Valorant Has alot to work on and is far away from a perfect game, if you're going to play it I HIGHGLY recommend playing with 4 other people and only playing with people you know because going head first into this game alone is going to be one of the most frustrating and painful things you'll every do in any game you've played before.    … Expand

    Feels like Counter Strike but without the steep learning curve. The abilities feel like a novelty more than a feature in this game because it is so slow paced. It feels slow and booring. If you like csgo, you might like this game but if you did not, there is no way you will like it. I get the feeling the game was basically created to sell sklns on day 1 in my opinion.

    played valorant for around 6 months game is decent, needs balancing fixes but the worst part is the community. everyone is a snowflake and you will be given 1 to 3 week bans for basically nothing. I would love to see this game become good but riot just loves destroying their games. if you slip up once its a 72 hr mute without the ability for comp. its BS, not to mention that if youplayed valorant for around 6 months game is decent, needs balancing fixes but the worst part is the community. everyone is a snowflake and you will be given 1 to 3 week bans for basically nothing.     A really good FPS team multiplayer in the line of CSGO. The powers make it alot of fun. Does tent to have a super toxic player base from time to time but is a fun game regardless.

    as a supporter of valorant since the beta i am very disapointed in there support, iv been buying over priced skins for a while and i dont care about that, what i care about is the bugs and toxic plater base, the amount of bugs iv seen playing this game is astromoical, players will bug through walls to be unkillable, cheaters and smurfs are scattered everywhere i would get atleast 1 smurfas a supporter of valorant since the beta i am very disapointed in there support, iv been buying over priced skins for a while and i dont care about that, what i care about is the bugs and toxic plater base, the amount of bugs iv seen playing this game is astromoical, players will bug through walls to be unkillable, cheaters and smurfs are scattered everywhere i would get atleast 1 smurf in my game almost every game, and why cant they just ban offensive words in chat, just the other day we had a person on the enemy team spamming racial slurs in the chat over and over again and he didnt get muted by the game, how hard is that? they make the match making unbareable, and the servers are trash; my wifi speeds are perfectly fine but ill go and check valorant and the server ping is almost never good, not to mention the packet loss issue thats been going on for a couple days now in sea servers, every game me and my friends play recently is just unplayable because of this issue (we all play on a wired connection) competitive is just lost at this point because of the packet loss, i really do think the valorant support team doesnt care about other regions outside of na and eu since they have not addressed this issue on twitter or the valorant page, even though twitter users from sea servers are asking about it and asking valorant to adress it but they havnt even seen one, but when it comes to any issue on na/eu they just have to fix it like one region has priotrity over the other, quite racist if you ask me. i went to submit the ticket to valorant about it and all they did was tell me to used a wired connection like im not already doing that. overall this is not a bad game but over priced skins, bad match making and toxic fanbase and the devs who say they listen to player feedback are just listening to the famous and not the actual fanbase really does leave a stain on this game… Expand

    I'm not leaving this bad review because of bad mechanics, I'm leaving it because Riot doesn't know how to make a functioning game. I recently just got back into Valorant after taking a break for a few months, I come back only to have multiple crashes because my "GPU ran out of space". I spent $1000+ on this gaming laptop I'm writing this review on. After closing as much stuff as I can onI'm not leaving this bad review because of bad mechanics, I'm leaving it because Riot doesn't know how to make a functioning game. I recently just got back into Valorant after taking a break for a few months, I come back only to have multiple crashes because my "GPU ran out of space". I spent $1000+ on this gaming laptop I'm writing this review on. After closing as much stuff as I can on my laptop. I finally get it to work. Then experience toxicity and players not choosing characters. I don't care about that, it's just mildy annoying. But then I started playing games, and I was disconnected from 1 round because FACEIT was trying to hook up to Valorant for competitive. DESPITE me never joining the Valorant community on FACEIT. So I uninstalled FACEIT and the rest of the game was fine. Until I got to the end of the round. It gave me a penalty and didn't give me any xp, because I was "AFK for too long" I was gone for 1 round and played the other 12. How is that too long? So this ticked me off quite a bit. Then I started up another match. I was doing good, I was top scoring on my team. Then the sides switched, and the game froze. I was mad, and audio was still playing. Then my screen turns black. I try and alt tab out, and nothing happens. And every time I moved my mouse, it just made beeping noises. It did this for at least 5 minutes. so for that 5 minutes, my laptop might as well just have been a $1000 large paperweight. If you want to make a good game, don't make it to where it breaks EVERY FUNCTION ON YOUR PLAYER'S COMPUTERS… Expand

    Update = Updating the game can take so long, server is so bad and you will also get false info when updating the game.
    Bugs and Glitches = Game has a alot of bugs especially when the new season comes but they will fix it as soon possible, when the bugs is still on the game and haven't yet been fixed, it can destroy your gameplay, so is the same on glitches.

    - Severe peeker's advantage, that makes you feel like you are being one tapped by running opponent
    - Gunplay feels like a downgrade when coming from the 9-year old CSGO system, I would even argue that CS 1.6 had better feeling at times (shoulder peeks are extremely overpowered)
    - In-game lobbies full of toxic brats that are undinsguishable from apes, when it comes to their mental state (this is not an overstatement, I ensure you this game might double as a test to discover aspiring sociopaths/psychopaths before they attempt their first wrongdoing)

    I guess Riot is catering to the "eSports" audience, but please consider my suggestion: save your brain cells and find your next online game somewhere else. Having fun was never an option in Valorant.    … Expand

Speaking from experience, I have never had a feeling of any sort of constancy in Valorant, to the point where I question if every individual match even takes place on the same underlying code, or if they have some sort of evolving and devolving monster that they cannot control that is making random decisions on the fly. One match it will appear as though none of my shots are capable of missing, others will seem quite fair. Others, some players will seemingly have the magical ability to see me before I even peek. Other matches, it will seem that no matter how well I aim, coming from games where I top frag 20+ kills, every bullet either misses the mark completely or somehow downgrades from head to body, or body to feet.
    This lack of consistency is the sole reason I do not even bother touching the competitive part of the game, as I know for a fact that I will never be able to enjoy myself, as there is no feeling of "getting better" its a cycle of do extremely well, feel like I am better, then getting 1-3 kills and 20+ deaths in a 13 rounder the very next game.
    It is obvious to see just how inconsistent this is, even though Riot (and many players who seem to just not face these issues) continually claim that the problems either do not exist, or are not bad enough to need fixing. The clearest way I notice the problem is due to my surrender to completion rate for games. 70%+ of my games that are unrated (meaning not spike rush or another shortened mode) end in a surrender, due to my team simply being unable to even touch my opponents team with a bullet.

    If this was merely a lack of skill thing, I would have no issue, but I know that is not the case. As I said at the start of my review, I play this game way too much. So much, that I would expect to at least be decent at aiming for heads by this point, but my experience in game either reflects that too heavily, or does not at all. I have seen the same from friends, content creators, and others, who go through the same cycle (get favorable netcode and win, then get the opposite and lose).

    It almost never feels like a loss in this game is my fault. Other games similar, such as CS:GO, are equally as difficult if not harder at times; however, the difficulty I feel in that game is consistent. I do not go one match of CS and become a headshot master, and the next a bumbling loser with no aim. I get consistent numbers of kills, do consistent damage, and my headshots connect when I myself feel like I did hit (or vice versa).

    I cannot recommend Valorant, unless the netcode is fixed, among the other many issues I did not discuss. Riot can claim there either is no problem, or that they have fixed it as many times as they want; however, until I see evidence of it, I will never recommend it. Will I personally keep playing? Probably. Should you? Absolutely not.    … Expand

    Este juego destaca mucho por ser gratis y por la jugabilidad, siendo un juego competitivo igual al conocido CS mezclado con sigilo pero con habilidades y poderes, lo cual esta muy muy bien implementada, siendo un juego demasiado dependiente de la comunicacion con tus compañeros, y la habilidad de ellos de utilizar con sabiduria las habilidades.
    Hay varios mapas, el desarrollo de los mapas esta muy bueno, cada rincon del mapa fue pensado con la estrategia y el juego en equipo como prioridad; pero se sienten vacios, repetitivos, y muy "cuadrados"

    Los personajes es otra cosa que destaca de este juego, hay muchisima variedad y son muy diferentes unos de otros, diferenciandose en roles, algunos tienen habilidades mas pensadas en defensa, soporte, exploradores, o asaltantes.

    Hay pocos modos de juego, siendo todos iguales pero con leves diferencias; al igual que las armas que incluso tienen demasiado recoil y hay que aprender mucho a dominarlas lo cual no es facil de hacer.

    Este juego lamentablemente tiene muchos defectos, el juego vive actualizandose generando mas problemas que soluciones, el juego no esta bien optimizado, los servidores son ree contra inestables, esto se refleja en una variacion de ping altisima que afecta a todos los jugadores, arruinando la experiencia. Y los tiempos de carga de las partidas es demasiado alto para mi gusto.

    El juego tiene demasiado desbalance, teniendo compañeros que no saben usar habilidades o enemigos demasiado experimentados. Nunca habia visto una comunidad tan toxica como en Valorant, te insultan facilmente con el minimo error y con amenazas de reportarte enves de ayudar o colaborar, esto desalienta muchisimo a seguir jugando y al juego en equipo. Inclusive es bastante normal que en el equipo que va perdiendo se desconecte al menos 1 jugador quedando en desventaja.

    Lamentablemente en este juego se pueden utilizar macros o utilizar botones de secuencia de clicks, ayudando mucho a jugadores con buenos perifericos.

    La tabla de puntuaciones creo que es algo que no esta bien implementada, recompensando y fomentando siempre a tener mas bajas enves del juego en equipo. Deberian copiar el sistema de puntuaciones de Battlefield por ejemplo que tienen mucho mejor implementado esto.

    A pesar de todo lo bueno y malo que tiene este juego, veo algo muy bueno que tiene esto y es la facilidad de crear un equipo con tus amigos para jugar, y ya eso es lo suficientemente alentador para seguir jugandolo siendo un juego que personalmente no recomendaria.

    A este juego le veo mucho futuro, si Riot sigue por buen camino y soluciona varios de sus problemas, puede llegar a ser uno de los juegos competitivos clave del futuro.    … Expand

Although the graphics are cartoonish the game requires a high end PC for no reason. The servers are quite bad (unsurprisingly). 100ms feels like 350ms. Also latency spikes happen a lot. Microtransactions (skins) are extremely expensive. Paying 100$ just for something virtual is not worth it. I honestly do not like the gameplay, it's either too competitive or too still. And there is only 1 main objective, only 1 game mode. It is quite boring and nothing new in the FPS genre. Can't blame the game for people being toxic, but even with that much precaution, if people are still toxic, there is a problem. The weapons feel the same when you play with them except the pistols and snipers. They really had no new ideas for the guns and just copied real guns and gave them new names. The characters are not balanced and are not interesting at all. Most of them have the same abilities such as flashes and smokes and stuns. It feels boring and getting too repetitive. The lore is quite boring and I really don't like it. There is almost no official lore and people have been trying to find lore since the beta has released. The cinematics are also quite boring and don't have anything to do with lore other than small details. It's pretty much how a normal round goes in a match.

When you take a look at the Ingame-Store for Skins you realize pretty fast that this game is nothing more but a money-maker for Riot. Selling Knife-Skins for 30~40€ each or Skin-Packs for ~90€ and nobody complaining about it is something making me furious. Of course you could say "It's your money and your choice", but that would've also been the Case in the big EA-Battlefront 2 Outrage. Most of the gamers still blame EA for their DLC-Politics but when it comes to Valorant knowingly ripping of thousands of euros out of the pockets of minors , everybody closes their eyes.     CS:GO has better shooting mechanics, more maps and custom content support.

    Valorant has easy to use abilities and heroes lifted straight from overwatch.

    this game is **** you get f*cking banned for being afk, you cant quit the match so you have to go afk if you have something urgent to do, if you quit to desktop the same happens. the only reason i gave it 1 out of 10 its because its better than a few games if it wasnt for that it wouldve gotten a 0

    WORST MM i ever played. Cheaters, smurfs, afk players. Rank system sucks... You got 25/11/3, 2 afk in your team and lose? -30 rank points, you got same stats and win? +15 points... It's ridiculous! +1 score for short time games.

    Valorant had a lot of promise and I gave it a legitimate shot playing from day two of the Beta all the way into Episode 2 Act 2. I'm sorry but the game just haven't lived up to expectations. The map design is really bad, the newest map Icebox is awful. Because of the peaker's advantage being extremely high, it makes it basically impossible to hold any kind of angle where you have an angle advantage on the opposing player. They can run out and 1-tap you before you can even react to them swinging out on the angle. The ranking system as of Episode 2 Act 1 (patch 2.00) runs on some weird Hidden MMR system that is completely separated from your current rank. So if you are Gold 1 you Hidden MMR could be anything from Silver 2 up to Plat 2 and whom you are playing with and against would be dependent on your Hidden MMR and not your current Rank, it just doesn't work and creates awful disparities the the players skill levels within each match. For a more simplistic graphics game one would think the FPS would run better than say something like CSGO, however it doesn't, Riot has made the determination to render all resolutions except 1440P and 4k at 1080p and then downscale. You can't get additional FPS by running 1600x900 for example. Weapon balancing isn't done well, they don't tweak something slightly they just pretty much make it unusable all together, I'm thinking of the stinger nerf as and example or the right click Bucky nerf neither work worth a crap anymore and you don't have a good option on an eco round or a round you may want to force on. As a solo queue player your patience is going to be tested, you are going to have 1-2 players instant lock a dualist and then just completely underperform for their role making the controller player & Sentinel players pick up their slack. Riot's solution to complaints about this has been "don't solo queue, play with a pre-made" and that in my mind is a completely piss poor approach.… Expand

This game is all about team work and patience’s. The game consists of 5 maps which are unique to each other. The developer tried their best to make every map balanced for both attackers and defenders even though map like split gives a small advantage to the defender side. The game offers different modes so that the players are kept entertained.

    The objective of this game is quite simple there are two teams (attackers and defenders) each consist of 5 members. The role of attackers is to plant the spike in the planting spot and also protect the spike from defusing by the defenders and the role of defenders is quite opposite to attackers. Whichever team wins the first 13 rounds wins the game.

    Valorant has 5 free characters and 5 that can be unlocked simply by playing through the game. Real-life currency can only impact appearances of weapons and animations. Riot tries very hard to ensure there is no paying for advantages. Each character has their own unique voice lines which are so nice and never get old and the characters represent a country which I really enjoy! The servers are very good for latency and the weapons are in a small amount so you don't need to remember that many. They also balanced each weapon very properly so that there would be no overpowered weapons. Its In-game sound effects makes us more interesting to play the game.

    This is one of those FTP games which doesn’t required high end specs to play the game which makes the game very approachable among all kinds of gamers. its graphic is quite clean with a cartoonish form look. Still the game has room for more improvement like game glitches where you are unable to see marking on the mini map, where you are not able to see the damage you have taken/given to opposite player. Such glitches force us to close the game and restart it. Other than that this game is very entertaining and I would suggest all of you to play this game

Valorant also provides Overwatch features such as ultimates and special abilities, which I was worried about when I first started, but, over time it was obvious that even a single bullet could decide the fate of the match. While agents like Sage and Skye may seem like a cheat as they can revive and heal, it still is well balanced because of the abilities of other characters.Valorant balances ultimates by making them cost points to use instead of putting them on a cooldown. You can gain these by dying, picking up and gathering nodes, and most importantly: killing opponents. To top it off, all of your abilities cost you points which are also needed to buy armor and shields, therefore you need to be wise in your expenditure during the games.. You will also need to learn how to micromanage the in-game economy.

    Top Picks Among Players
    My favourite agent in Valorant is "Reyna" because of her ability to heal and deal catastrophic amounts of damage to other team in a short span of time using her ultimate and abilities. However, it all comes with a price. If you don't get enough kills, you will have a lot of trouble managing your economy where you will be forced to play rounds with half buys or no buys.

    Play Styles and Environmental Awareness
    In valorant, you need to be aware of your surroundings at all times unless you want to be knifed from behind. Valorant has many ways to gather intel on opponents and more often than not, wins and losses are all about who can gather more information on the enemy. There are even agents who specialize in just gathering information i.e Cypher. Sound and visual cues are very important aspects of Valorant as they tell you if the enemy is rotating to different sites or will push for the same one.

    Pressure and Aim
    Valorant can be very stressful and frustrating at times, especially when you get headshotted every time you peek at an angle or if you can't aim at the target fast enough to deal damage. The different recoils and feel that you get with each gun takes a little time to get used to. And the debate between Phantom and Vandal, guns of similar damage, is never-ending. Even though both guns have special uses depending on the scenario. It only takes 1-2 shots in the head to kill the enemy, but you are dead wrong if you thought that the dead can't come back to life with Sage.

    Problems with Valorant

    Odin and Ares
    It might not be a big deal for some players who play casually, but sometimes it can be extremely frustrating if the enemy team starts to spam guns such as Odin which has 100 bullets and can deal damage even through a wall. Paired up with Sova, an agent who can reveal the enemy using his arrows, you can get at least 1-2 kills from Wallbang alone if you take the opposing team by surprise. Ares with 50 bullets and a cost of only 1600 points is a very good option for spamming because you can keep buying and spamming it even if you don't have a good economy.

    Pacing
    Valorant can feel quite slow paced if you came from a game such as CSGO.It takes a bit of time to adapt to it and it can affect you negatively if you were to switch back to CSGO from Valorant as CSGO will feel too fast in comparison.

    Skins and Cosmetics
    Skins. There is a lot of debate about whether skins affect the outcome of matches. Many players argue that a Prime Vandal can increase your kills by good margin and I personally feel it provides assistance when aiming at the heads of enemies, making it easier to play with skins than without. This makes me wonder if Valorant is a "pay to win", but some may argue otherwise.

    Final Words on game
    Valorant is a fantastic game. Although it can take a while to get into but, over time you’ll start to get the hang of it. However, knowledge about certain abilities and aspects are crucial for playing this game. This can easily be accomplished by finding information through the internet. Though at times, it seems as if it’s trying to combine Overwatch and CSGO into one to become “Valorant”.
    Valorant gave me an excellent experience as the concept of using abilities in a FPS game is really fun. The game is not entirely about gunplay but also having a strong strategic planning and efficient execution.
    Overall, Valorant provides fresh gaming experience while also honing real life skills such as strategic thinking and teamwork. I would recommend playing this game if you are someone who likes to try something new along with learning it.

    Honestly not worth playing, it's quite boring for an fps. It's too sweaty for the average player. The gun unbalance is laughably bad, there's 3 good guns to use later in the game, and they're not even very fun to use. My suggestion is to go play some other fps game on pc. CSGO, most COD games, most Halo games, and Siege.

Even if the points get evened out during OT there will be an option to either draw the game or continue the OT.
    The feature that makes this game stand out from rest of the 5v5 shooter games are the abilities of the characters (agents) in the game. There are 4 types of agents in the game – Duelists are the ones who push forward into conflicts with the enemy team. Think of them as attackers. Initiators focus on gathering intel and help the team push. Sentinels are defenders, usually playing the back line of a team. Controllers are good at blocking off sight lines and generally offer support to the team
    Each character gets an ability they can use for free each round. The two other non-ultimate abilities must be purchased at the gun shop during the buy phase like you would a grenade in Counterstrike. This means that they have finite uses meaning that players should use them conservatively. Abilities cannot be spammed on cooldown like you can in Overwatch. Lastly to cast an ultimate, you need a certain amount of skillpoints. Skill points can be grabbed around the map (gives one to all team members), earned through kills (1 kill = 1 point), or passively with each round.
    The Valorant tutorial does a good job of helping you understand the basics of the game. It also helps you to alter your mouse sensitivity, and get a feel for the basic controls. First you can run fastest with a knife in your hand. So, when you’re moving or rotating in a safe area try to always pull your knife out. Another plus point is that various weapons also have different movement speeds. SMGs and Sidearms, except for the Shorty and Sheriff, are the next fastest after the knife. The Shorty and Sheriff come next, along with the Rifles and Shotguns. Finally, the Heavies and Snipers are the slowest. You are shots are less accurate while running and gunning in long range. But the time it takes for you to reach 100% accuracy once you stop moving is quick. Although running and gunning with SMGs might be handy as it is better in close range and accuracy is better than rifles while running. While running you make a lot of noise. Enemies can hear you coming from a long way off. When you’re trying to hide information about your movement, you need to walk. Valorant has bullet penetration, so your shots can kill enemies through some materials. And some weapons are better and penetrating walls than others. Low-penetration weapons can only shoot through wooden objects. Medium-penetration weapons can shoot through wood and stone objects. And only high-penetration weapons can shoot through metal objects. Some objects in the game are just impenetrable.
    Valorant’s interface has a lot options that can be controlled according to the user’s wish. For example, the you can set different key binds for each control that best suits your muscle memory, valorant has 3 different graphic settings, for user who wants the max fps they can go with low settings and those who cares only about the graphics can go with high graphics. The sensitivity of the mouse can be adjusted too. The controls are pretty easy to learn, it took me 3 matches to get familiar with the controls and plus the game requires you to win 10 unranked matches to start the ranked matches, which helps the player a lot.
    The toughness of the game depends on the match making rating of the player. If the player has a high mmr then he would get queued with players of similar mmr or higher. The thing about the valorant I found annoying is the match making system which at times queues you with players of higher mmr in the opponents and low mmr players as your team mates. But Riot games is trying their best to fix it.

With that said, it doesn't seem to ban cheats instantly, so.... theres that...to consider.

    It quite plainly is plagued with people from high ranks making accounts and playing at well below their ranks (smurfing). It is a real problem and basically amounts to cheating. - Why put a pro player in the amateur leagues for example. It ruins the experience totally.

    Valorant feels like cool way to put CS and Overwatch together and its really good for players who wants it but the game kinda overfilled because all of that amount of skills.     Most visible cons: if you're a fan of cosmetics you'll get dissapointed because prices for cosmetics (which in themselves aren't inspired at all and usualy they're just recolored weapons), some characters have questionable abilites that don't serve tactical purpose and are purely made to make character a hyper carry (example is Raze). Breach is a broken character that shouldn't be in the form he is in today. This is not a huge flaw but setting on those maps are pretty awful. The game has more variety than CSGO but because of it it's also less balanced. Overall not bad and devs are going to keep adding content so it may get even better.    … Expand

В Соревновательном режиме даже нельзя карту выбрать! И с Боя Насмерть и прочих режимов НЕ ВЫЙТИ, что вообще очень убого. В общем, играйте в Counter-Strike, 5 ИЗ 10 за то, что хоть чё-нибудь скопировали, при этом убив авикИгра даже сейчас выглядит сырой, как бета. I spent rounds not using any skills and still winning because it seems like they don't matter. They want to mix CS and Overwatch without understanding why these games are fundamentally different. The two types of gameplay don't mix well together. The game is slow and not fun to continuously play. There are also tons of bots or afk players that just walk in a box the entire round. These happen so often it feels not worth to play unless in a group to carry these players. It's very frustrating. Then there are the insane prices in the store. You can pay $100 for gun skins for one pack. That's insane. That is an insane price point for gun skins even for a free-to-play game. It's frustrating and unreasonable. Then there's the always-on anti-cheat that feels invasive on my computer. All in all, just pick overwatch or csgo.… Expand

    Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

    Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
