    Starfield is an occupied game and Microsoft once again proved its rank is lower than Sony and Bethesda studio lost its credibility among players. This game is full of bugs and these failures affect the process of game experience. All NPCs are very artificial and do not convey any emotion

    The game isnt worth your money and time
    Too many bugs,graphics from like 2010,story is very boring and repetative. In all Bethesda delivered an unfinished and un polished product.Shame on you Todd and Bethesda for all the bad marketing lies..

    my experience in game are terrible, too much core bugs, i really piss up with this game... i'll finish only because i payed 69, my series s are screaming for help...

    I have played on a very high-end PC and had a lot of problems with the game. I have had several bugs that have made the game experience was not satisfactory, we know that Bethesda is a studio that does not optimize games well. I was excited about the game but I felt like I was playing a Skyrim mixed with FallOut in space. Very empty planets, NPCs that left a lot to be desired. In short,I have played on a very high-end PC and had a lot of problems with the game. I have had several bugs that have made the game experience was not satisfactory, we know that Bethesda is a studio that does not optimize games well.     Poor performance / Low FPS and frequent crashes.

    I have a PC with considerable specs, and even though the game recommends playing on low settings, I still experience low FPS rates, fluctuating between 20-35. Moreover, the game frequently crashes, especially during NPC dialogues, and if you forgot to quicksave or the game didn't autosave, it's goodbye to all the progress in that part.    Poor performance / Low FPS and frequent crashes.

Anyway, maybe in 6 months or a year from now, I'll try playing it again and change my rating. It's even embarrassing to see many websites suggesting a huge Mod List at launch to fix or at least make the game somewhat playable.

    generic looter shooter and souless rpg where space, the ship and planets are visual or cosmetic rather than actual fleshed out content. Next gen was marketed, next gen pricing was applied but last gen content was delivered. More time spent in loadingscreens, inventory management and fast travel menu's than actual engaging ship and exploration gameplay.

    Starefield: The facial animation is outdated. The Gaming engine is outdated. -1
    The main quest is super generic except one mission - entangled. -1
    The ending is generic and unexciting. -1
    Tons of items to pick up but your inventory is always full, even with full inventory space upgrade. -1
    There are only 10 types of gun in the game. -1
    Fraction quests are okay. I will give them that. not as good as those in oblivion. +1
    1000 planets but most of them are vast but empty. Nothing much to do. -1
    I dont see any megaboss on a planet, the wow factor is missing during my exploration.
    Tons of bugs. NPC glitching in and out. -1
    Endless loading screen. I swear 10% of my total playthrough time are just me sitting here waiting the game to load. -1
    There are only 4 romance option. Main Companions are annoying and boring. They left you if you steal and do pirate stuffs. Sam coe is okay solely because of the Adam jensen voice actor. -1
    The major capital city like new atlantis feels so small. Every big company are just conveniently packed in the same building in neon. -1
    Many repeated content. They have the audacity to use the dungeon( the lab) with exact same layout twice in the main questline. -1

    The game feels very outdated and very restricting. There's almost no reason to be in space and the gathering is so lazily designed that instead of actual rocks to mine they just look like little pimples on scattered about. Deceptive marketing was used to promote this game. They were selective with their review copies to make sure only those who would rate it positive got one.

    I see a lot of cope coming from the bethesda fan boys. They keep saying things like "if you like bethesda games you are going to like this game, it is just like skyrim or fallout." That couldn't be any further from the truth. This is nothing like any of the bethesda games. If i didn't know this was a bethesda game I would of never guessed. You spend most of your time in menus. The A.I. in this game is horrible. Literally everything about this game is so bad. A lot of people saying this game is being "Review Bombed". That is just a term made by corporations to silence the truth. People do not like this game and the fact that the review score from the critics is so vastly different than the peoples score is evidence that critics dont have integrity or they just dont know what a good game is. It's not "review bombing" to not like something. The whole point of criticism is to help improve things and we have every right to hate something just like you have the right to love it. Feelings aside this game is objectively bad and is the worst game Bethesda has ever made. These game developers clearly hate us.     First, you need really good pc to play this game. This game is not optimized well. I already experienced few bugs like NPCs falling through the floor. Walking through the walls. Sometimes they are dumb! One of my quests are bug stuck, can’t do anything about it until there’s a patch. Space is limited and not free to explore. Some planets don’t even exist, they just JPG planets. SomeFirst, you need really good pc to play this game. This game is not optimized well.     This game is a mix of many genres, but it's not good at any of them. Its cities are way less impressive than cyberpunk which is now 2 or 3 years old, the no man's sky type exploration is a joke, its not a good FPS neither, the main plot is like a bad Mass Effect remake, the game is 10 years behind the facial expression and the whole character animation is archaic and Bethesda should reallyThis game is a mix of many genres, but it's not good at any of them. NO FKIN AMMUNITIONS. no meaningful choices. The whole game is boring and the inventory is the worst. The game consists in : go to my ship through the same animation, loading screen then select a system another loading screen and animation, then select a planet, same loading and animation, then select a landing zone (generally two or three if you're lucky but you won't have any chance to enter atmosphere manually its all animated) so its a fake exploration, you can even not spend anytime into space and just fast travelling. Lots of bugs contrary to what has been said. Persuasion system is basic, RPG components are basics. Character creation is ok. NPC display the same behavior since Oblivion that has been subject of constant mockery but doesnt seem to bother Bethesda since decades, nothing is explained on the game but its not like if it was Elden Ring as in meant to be opaque because you have to discover for yourself and that it is rewarding, here its just lazy and confusing. The ammunition system is a joke i can'"t even play with the weapons i'd like because i never have ammunition for it. New Atlantis is UGLY as f. I heard the game get good after 15 hours lol which is never a good sign and even then it got slightly better it still was a major disappointment to me.… Expand

    A lot of hype for a game that could have been made 10 years ago. Very disappointed in Bethesda ! Feels like we have been scammed, they sold us a recycled game.
    Hopefully this flop teach them something and they will finally change their engines and stop copy paste their games in the future

    game performs poorly even when above recommended specs and the game does not look that great, combat sucks (no gibbing/dismemberment, more bullet spongy than ever), space combat is not fun, perks are awful and you have to spend points to unlock stuff you should just have (perk to    this game was fun at certain points but after playing 50+ hours and finishing the main story this **** sucks

    so disappointing, im done with bethesda, i cant believe they had so much money and so many years of development to make a great game and came out with this, now i have no faith in them making something good again    … Expand

    e sem absolutamente nada para fazer. O pouco conteúdo que é gerado, são repetitivos e no terceiro planeta vc já não vai querer vistar mais nenhum.

    Era bem melhor ter feito apenas um sistema solar, mas que a gente pudesse pelo menos voar entre os planetas, entrar na atmosfera... Enfim, só de lembrar eu já fico com raiva. Eu espero muito que a Bethesda abandone esse motor gráfico    e sem absolutamente nada para fazer. O pouco conteúdo que é gerado, são repetitivos e no terceiro planeta vc já não vai querer vistar mais nenhum.

    Well thankfully I got my refund. I was hoping for so much more but after the frustration how they padded out the game and the 30fps cap I just got bored. Back to baldur's gate 3 and diablo4 for me.
    More fun and less yawn.

    I had soooo high hopes for this one but is buggy the first 20+ hours forgettable and the soul of bethesda games is just not there. You want a good starfield, get No man Sky or even Star Citizen 100%

También hay situaciones en las que la tercera persona falla mucho, se bugea y no deja hacer nada. Los gráficos son mediocres, y no es mundo abierto. Además    Starfield es un gran juego, muy bueno en muchos aspectos, pero opacado por ciertos fallos y bugs que rompen la experiencia totalmente.

    I can't believe I waited years for this. The missions where you just land and scan planets are so tediuous. Waiting for things to spawn in that take hours. Complete garbage.

The same bugs from every Bethesda game are present because they don't give a crap about their customer. the most insulting thing is they call it next gen but has graphics out of a 2012 game.

    I feel like this game just has a nice coting of paint on the outside but once you go inside you get another open world game with nothing new to offer and the main story and characters are the weakest point of this whole mess and at the end of finishing this game, there is nothing left to remember it by at least in a good way.

    24hrs in I had the grand realization, this game is absolutely **** Lack of any real substance. Boring weapons, lame ship builder and buggy as all hell. Questlines can't be completed and overall I just felt pissed off playing the whole time with every little design choice. Thanks Todd Howard for yet another steaming pile of ****.

    Back to Balders Gate and Armored Core I guess.

    This game is the disappointment of the year for me. Todd Howard had us with his lies again, over promising but under delivering, as per his habit. The game is an unfinished buggy mess with lots of quirky moments and game breaking bugs, graphically it looks rough at times and the story is pretty **** Skip this garbage and play Zelda Tears of the Kingdom or Baldur's Gate instead.

    Most disappointing major release of the past 5 years. Copy paste laziness, masquerading as something new when it’s nothing more than a single dense environment fractured into 100 lifeless boring (main)planets. What’s shocking after 40 hours of play is how empty everything feels. How is it possible that not a single planet in the universe has more than a central hub and 3 non centralizedMost disappointing major release of the past 5 years. Copy paste laziness, masquerading as something new when it’s nothing more than a single dense environment fractured into 100 lifeless boring (main)planets. What’s shocking after 40 hours of play is how empty everything feels. How is it possible that not a single planet in the universe has more than a central hub and 3 non centralized (pointless) locations. You run forever to discover a building with 2 people in it. The graphics are sub par for 2023 and poorly optimized. There’s no reason why a 13600k (20 threads, 5ghz turbo on 4) and a 4070ti should be struggling to maintain 60@4k and (worse yet) 120@1080p. Character models are all soulless drones with dead eyes. Color filter is unnecessary and removal is the top mod people download. The menus are terrible. You spend 1/3 of playing this game in the menu system or watching 6 second cut scenes of your ship moving. I’ve probably watched 2 hours of my ship taking off, landing, entering space, entering warp speed… so painful and no way to skip it. Besides the massive amount of time you’ll spend in the menus, they’re also poorly designed. The best description I heard was that they’re like a messy room. You know where stuff is but you can’t find it.

    The most infuriating aspect for me is a lack of inventory item count when buying resources. I constantly over-buy or forget to buy items because of the arduous process of menu hopping to check. There are parts that are fun, but they’re spaced out(pun) and locked behind 5 min of pointless dialogue followed by menu hopping and glorious cutscenes of your ship… lol. If another game I’m anticipating came out right now, I would drop this like a hot potato. I would also struggle to recommend it to anybody as the “you just need to get past the first 10 hours for it to get good” caveat, in an elevator pitch is too big a hurdle. This game is simply, “ok”. It’s good moments are often overshadowed by the frustrating aspects. You will groan a handful of times per gaming session.    … Expand

    nice game,a lot of content and dialogue,and the graphic is awesome.
    BUT, these things are all in a mess.
    i'm using a RTX4090 PC but the gameplay is not OK, drop frame and low frame(under 80) keep me away from exploring further in second run. i will no longer complain about the loadings, but it also has TOO MANY BUGS.
    I will give 0 until it fix all these issues.

    You are carrying too much to write this review... the amount of playtesting this game must of went through and yet the menus are absolutely garbage, the carry limit is too small, the amount food items heal you is ridiculous.. 3HP

    Pc optimization is poor and the game is buggy. No DLSS without modding is brain melting.

    Played the game for 2 hours. The game is frankly not what was assured and its overall level of graphics does not match the system requirements in any way. I couldn't think that on an RTX 3080 the game could only be stable at 1920*1080 resolution. I couldn't imagine seeing such a boring and primitive story. I could not imagine that it would turn out to be not a space sim, but constantPlayed the game for 2 hours. Lots of bugs with collision of npcs and models that pass into each other. The only thing where you can see at least some work is in the design of weapons, but the game brings a lot of illogicality like in 2300 weapons in close combat and laser weapons have recoil? Seriously? This is my worst experience in 2023 as far as games are concerned don't buy this game… Expand

Whoever thought putting empty planets in the game was a good idea shouldn't be allowed to make gaming decisions ever again. I don't even typically review games but they got me for $70 on a game that'd with hindsight ILove a lot of the previous Bethesda games, but this one lost me early on. Graphics, especially concerning characters was outdated, but worst of all it's just plain boring. Whoever thought putting empty planets in the game was a good idea shouldn't be allowed to make gaming decisions ever again. I don't even typically review games but they got me for $70 on a game that'd with hindsight I wouldn't play if it was free.… Expand

    I love bethesda games, and Starfield is an improvenment in all of the apsects of a usual Todd Howard game: from bugs to story. While Skyrim has a special place in my heart, it is objectively better game than Skyrim, with better gameplay, story, quests and an amazing design. There are some issues though, including wierd space travel implementation, bugs, bethtesda junk, anumations, weekI love bethesda games, and Starfield is an improvenment in all of the apsects of a usual Todd Howard game: from bugs to story. While Skyrim has a special place in my heart, it is objectively better game than Skyrim, with better gameplay, story, quests and an amazing design. There are some issues though, including wierd space travel implementation, bugs, bethtesda junk, anumations, week early game, but it's a personall 10 for me.     I fell in love with Starfield. It's my cup of sci-fi and I can't wait to spend the next thirty, fifty, maybe seventy hours here. I enjoy the exploration, the shootouts, the art style, the ship building, and the diverse worlds. I gratefully acknowledge the good optimization and the absence of major bugs. But I can't overlook the flaws. There are bad animations, ugly faces and repetitive moments.[Issue#329]

    In a year dominated by sequels to franchise favorites, there was a hope that Starfield would carve its own path to success. While the team at Bethesda should be commended for taking such a big swing, there’s no denying that the game doesn’t feel like a cohesive work. Maybe continued support and future sequels will make something more meaningful out of a work that is clearly deeply enamored with both science fiction and space exploration. Unforunately, this first launch has had far more mixed results than desired.
